Steer clear of the 75 dollar steak. I wouldnt feed that thing to my dog. It was gristly and burnt to a crisp. Rest of the food and drinks were good. But man that steak shouldnt be on the menu unless it was maybe 15 bucks at most.

Rigatoni Rose is incredible. Popped by on a Sunday and had a dozen oysters and this pasta. Great vibe, quick, walked right in. A go to spot for us walking from a few minutes away.

First time trying Born & Raised tonight. Overall, not a great experience. Service was not good - we were seated for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Had to get our own water from the bar. The food took awhile to come out - everything was just okay. The rigatoni vodka looked and tasted like it was microwaved. Probably won t return any time soon.

Waited over an hour for our food. When it came time to pay the bill the server didnt bring individual receipts for everyone and instead just gave us the debit machine and we ultimately paid without knowing our totals. The server failed to mention that gratuity was already included and when we all realized there were issues with the total amount we were paying THEN the server gave us our individual bills after we already paid. I have never been to an establishment where they did not give you your bill prior to paying. Mostly everyone in the group paid extra/paid for something they did not get. Poor experience overall.

Went to Born & Raised on a Thursday night in August 2024 and had a very pleasant experience. I had an Asahi beer and pepperoni pizza and my wife had the meatballs and rigatoni. Our bill after tax and tip was approx $80 which I thought was a bit steep for an Italian. The beer list was very limited. All in all a very nice night out.

I went with friends as it was recommended. Ultimately, we all loved the food. The table had steak, smash burgrers, and I had the pizza fuk. Its possible that this was the best tasting pizza Ive had anywhere. (Honestly, we all sampled the pizza and agreed) Service was fair. I may have gotten hangry at one point as it took quite a while to bring our food. Ill take some responsibility for being tired and hungry, but it took over an hour. Overall, have a good experience. Hard to like a place that does the body scan when you walk in to determine if youre suitable to be attended to or even acknowledged. In the summer, its hot, everyone can look houseless to the judgemental.

I was discovered this place as a recommendation from a friend and took my girlfriend here for her birthday; we could not have loved it more! The ambiance was classy and the service was fantastic. Our server, John, was very friendly and helpful with recommending the best dishes for us. The food itself was incredibly flavourful and we enjoyed everything. This upscale restaurant exceeded expectations and I would definitely recommend!

I dined here with my gf, I ordered the gnocchi which was delicious but she ordered the steak with chimi churi sauce and it had no taste and was not cooked to medium rare. It had no taste and was chewy. Also I got my food 15 minutes or more before her so I was just kinda sitting there waiting for her food. The waitress never asked how the food was and never even checked up on us, she never apologized for the wait my partner had and instead said hope it was worth the wait . Super disappointing experience

I am not one to make lengthy reviews but I have gone to this restaurant twice now and both times I have experienced some of the worst service of my life. My first complaint is that my partners food came at least 10 mins before mine showed up. My partner had to stop eating because he was already half done his meal while I was still waiting for mine. My second complaint is that the waitress barely gave the bare minimum when serving our table, never once asked how any of our food was or bothered to apologize for the fact that my food came so late. My third complaint is that my steak was undercooked, extremely chewy and completely flavourless (including the chimchurri which tasted like nothing). The patio was dark so I couldn t exactly see how well it was cooked and took most of it home so I could add some salt and spice, which is when I got to see how undercooked it was. The positives were that the bartender was very friendly and pleasant as soon as we came in and their gnocchi is really good which is why we decided to give the restaurant a second shot after receiving bare minimum service the first time.

Born and Raised is a local hidden gem, especially if you are looking to eat authentic Italian and at reasonable price. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little dark and gloomy for my preference. But the food tasted really good, it was full of authentic flavour and properly prepared. I would recommend visiting Born and Raised at least once whether you are a local here or visiting Hamilton City.

Seafood spaghetti was okay, gnocchi were homemade and very good. Friendly staff. Could be better value for money.

Best pizza ever

My Mom and I were visiting Hamilton and made a reservation at this restaurant to try. We were not disappointed at all. My Mom and I were really impressed with the whole atmosphere and amazing service we received. We split the fish of the day with a side order of garlic bread and the food was superb! We would both recommend this place to eat. If we ever return to Hamilton we will be back to this restaurant for sure.

We havent been back since Covid. So glad we could come here again! The food was amazing, we had the steak tartare, smash burger and gnocchi. All were incredible. No pictures because we ate it all so quickly. Friendly staff. Will recommend and come again!

One of our favourite places to go for dinner. Authentic Italian food, amazing staff and service. Accommodating to food allergens - we can t recommend it enough. Recently my husband and I sat table-side to the pizza station and unknowingly chatted with the owner. He was super down-to-earth and friendly, even giving my husband a beer to try after relating on beer preferences.

Love, love, love coming here!! The atmosphere is phenomenal, the food is fresh and devine, and the staff and head chef are all wonderful and welcoming. A true Hamilton Gem!!

Came for dinner as a group and they were able to take walkins around 7:30 PM on a Thursday. Here is a review of the dishes we tried: Spicy Brussels sprouts - the lowlight of the meal, texture is mushy Spicy rapini - pretty good, would reorder Pork cheek Pizza - would recommend, a great pizza but not a top in Hamilton Pizza FUKS - would skip, is rather bland Oysters half off was delicious, very tasty and highly recommend Burrata - great bread, great green sauce

Born and Raised is lively but the overcrowding of the restaurant is unfair to paying customers. The owner(s) are charging above average prices while forcing customers to be cramped between tables. Staff have to take turns with customers walking down the primary walkway in the restaurant because it only can fit one person at a time. Tables are placed together horizontal and vertical all around the main area, as if they were trying to fit as many people in there as possible. This is a healthy and safety concern on many accounts. The restaurant is nice but this concern and the effects we experienced because of it during our reservation is enough to not go back. Solution: rearrange the seating in the restaurant, possibly removing some tables if needed. If this issue was fixed, we d love to come back.

I planned to have a birthday dinner here with a few girlfriends. I had emailed and called twice confirming this dinner and making sure all confusions were cleared. Showed up to my reservation and the restaurant didn t have my table ready let alone have my name down on paper. Had to show the email confirming my reservation, and ON TOP of all that they tried charging me a 20% gratuity fee!! What am I tipping for??? Service was absolutely horrible like THE worst I ve ever experienced. Food is okay and atmosphere is cute. Honestly so disappointed.

I have had the pleasure of eating here twice so far.. I wish I had tried more menu options but my 2nd dinner was a copy of my first as the food was so good I ordered the same thing both times Caesar salad and rigatoni with meatballs.. both were amazing and authentic to what I expected from both dishes.. the sauce was authentic home style and the meatballs tender and tasty.. and took takeout spicy pizza both times for dinner the following night.. pizza is on par for Napoli style thin crust.. definitely recommend this place and prices are extremely fair

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my partner, we loved it! Food was great, we split a pizza (which we saw get made-very fun) had one pasta dish and the scallop dish. The service was a little slow but it was very busy so we understood :) Drinks were also yum! we will absolutely be coming back

I have visited Born & Raised for numerous years and have always been impressed with the over all character, vibe, and atmosphere of the restaurant. The old school black & white photos truly show the family heritage along side the old brick walls truly brings you back in time. The food is absolutely incredible and all hoke made from the main dishes to the wood oven pizza oven all made to your own personal preferences. I prefer to support the independent owners as through my experience they truly put their heart and art of food preparation into each and every meal. For those wishing for an adult beverages they have a nice selection of quality imported and locally brewed. Support the independents while we still have the options.

Absolutely DELICIOUS pizza. Probably the best I have ever had in Hamilton. So simple but so delicious and flavourful. We did the pepperoni and margherita , and both were fabulous. Drinks were great, service was friendly and quick, atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a lovely night. Highly recommend.

I recently visited born and raised and aside from the service their food wasn t very good. I order the Calabrese pizza/ a Ceasar Salad and the Nonnas meatballs. The only thing that was good was the salad. The pizza didn t have much flavour, it was okay for what it was but, wasn t my favourite. The meatballs and polenta tasted like it was Mutti sauce from the jar and lacked so much flavour and the meatballs were pink on the inside, which kinda turned me off. Being Italian, I do have high standards for Italian cuisine since my mom makes the pretty sexy food but, this place lacked a lot of flavours. I wish I remembered my servers name, because he was amazing.

B&R is a staple on James St N. One of my favorite restaurants to take out clients, celebrate mile stones, or grab a great meal with my partner/friends. The staff are wonderful and attentive, the entire menu is quality, and the space is beautiful. I know I can proudly refer this restaurant to out of town friends for a guarantied good experience. Well done Born and Raised team.

we came out for my birthday tonight and we had the best experience we ve ever had out of all of our visits with our server Brittney! to start she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. She recommended great alternatives when the bar wasn t able to make the original martini I wanted. We love the restaurant regardless and are always aware of the potential wait times due to how busy it is but her service was so prompt. we ordered cocktails, oysters, pizza and the gnocchi, the food is always a 12/10. we can t wait to come back again!

My wife and I have been coming to born and raised and ordering take out for the past five or six years. The pizzas are some of the best in Hamilton however we have found the service to be awful and will no longer order from here. The wait times can be off by more than an hour when picking up food and when eating in person the waits can be even longer. While some of the staff are friendly we have found several of the staff have completely ignored our table. We will avoid from now on.

DOINK & DINE 03 Had this spot on my list for sometime as a recent hammer town dweller. Came here with my partner for the infamous lovers day Valentines and was more than thrilled with dining experience. Served by John who sold me on the revamped espresso martinis which between the two of us we got 4 total cause they were phenomenal! Apps we got oysters nice sizes and the pineapple pepper sauce to die for, the scallops was almost like a Thai twist influence served with sweet potatoes right amount of heat, tender scallops and that green sauce was insanely good. Shaolin buns almost like general tso chicken with the best fluffy sweet buns would come back just for those. Ordered then the short rib tagliatelle, portion was amazing tender beef with slight taste of red wine hearty, comforting and so fulfilling. Dessert we got freshly perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies and I think toffee was in there, chewy crisp goodness served with vanilla and I believe a maple ice cream. And of course had to get tiramisu which was fluffy, creamy and perfect espresso taste. Bill without tip $286 ($110 on alcohol which for certain drinks was a bit pricey but again espresso martinis the star of the show): 7pc oysters 6pc scallops 2pc shaolin buns Short rib tagliatelle 9oz Chardonnay 2x 2oz empress and tonic 3x espresso martinis Dietary restrictions: Scallops came with cashews but partner is allergic so they easily accommodate and dish still taste amazing

First time trying this place.. but turned down with 3 tables open b/c the kitchen is behind. Offered to just get drinks and still refused service. Pathetic.

Food was killer. Oysters were surprisingly comparable to what weve had fresh on the west coast in Seattle. Pizza and meatballs were definite highlights as well, the cocktails were creative, and the tiramisu some of the best weve ever had.

Food was delicious, wife loved the $2 oysters and wanted more at the end of the meal! Will come back again

We had a pre-Christmas holiday dinner on Thursday evening. We didnt shy away from trying to eat everything ;) from oysters, to steak tartar, pizza, gnocchi and more plus some incredibly tasty cocktails. Not one item we selected was bad. We struggled to decide which plate we liked best. Would happily go back. Also the service was great. No one was on top of us, they came by just enough, were friendly, helpful, and ensured we had a wonderful dinner. Highly recommend!

Drove here from Alliston,ON about an hour and a half drive for my cousins birthday dinner. The food was amazing I had the Rigatoni with the vodka sauce and it was incredible. Then I tried the Boa buns and that was another favorite! No wonder this place is so popular! Staff was very nice also!

Came here on a last minute reservation at 9pm and the place was still full of energy! I heard this was one of the best restaurants in hamilton and it did not let down! The prices are fair for the size and quality of the dishes. We tried the mushroom gnocchi and seared scallops which melted in my mouth, will definitely be coming back just for these plates!

Didnt honor our reservation on our special night. In fact we were barely acknowledged for the first 10 to 15 mins. Tables were so close that server had to brush up against us in order to serve the neighboring table. Uncomfortable, un welcoming. After our strange seating situation, we decided it was best to leave prior to eating. Seems a little pretentious, industry crowd. While i cant comment on food, Prices dont match service.

We tried Born and Raised for the first time, needless to say we were blown away by this experience. Everything from the drinks, the service, the appetizers, to the main and dessert was phenomenal. The server was great, the restaurant atmosphere was dark yet warm and very modern. We had the oysters and spicy Brussels for our appetizer and they were amazing. I would highly recommend you try this place if you are in the Hamilton area or if you are exploring the downtown scene.

First time trying out for apps and dinner, very happy with our food and drinks. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. We came a little bit later in the evening and we didn t feel rushed. Really enjoyed our mains. What a cute place! We will definitely return. Also our server was SO NICE, quick and attentive.

We are huge fans of born and raised and I have been many times with different friends. This time was much different from past experiences. My close friend and I went to born and raised last week on a Saturday. We had made reservations a week prior for 4 people, however our two friends were ill on the day of the reservation so I called the restaurant that day to inform them it would only be the two of us. Upon arrival we were sat at a very small table tucked tightly between the door and a large table of 10-12 people. The door opened frequently and it was a cold spot, but we saw that they were very busy and dealt with it. We waited for about 20 minutes before a server arrived to take our drink order. After our drinks came, it took a little while for our serve to return and take our order. We ordered an app, and informed the server we will be ordering dinner and wine shortly but hadn t decided on the items just yet. Our app arrived from the kitchen a little while later. While the timing up until now was not speedy, we hoped it would improved and we enjoyed our scallops. This is when everything started to go down hill. After finishing our cocktail and scallops we did not see our server for approximately 30 minutes. When we finally had a chance to order another drink and our dinner, our serve walked away so quickly that we didn t get our dinner order in. Our subsequent drinks did not arrive, nor did our server, so 25-30 minutes later we decided to leave. We asked another staff member for our bill who brought it over- the bill included the second round of drinks that we had never received. As we were looking at the bill and informing the staff member that we did not get those drinks, our server came over with the drinks and asked if we still wanted them. We said no, and that it had been quite awhile since we ordered them. Our server said I know and walked away as we paid with the other staff member. I d like to say that the scallops and cocktails we received were delicious and we still love the food. The concern is that had we not called to inform them of our change in number of attendees, maybe we would have been placed at a more comfortable table in a section that had the capacity to serve us? I understand that the restaurant was busy and as I mentioned, there was a very large party next to us. However, despite being an established restaurant, it seemed like they were completely unable to handle the number of people there, or at least in our section, despite having had made reservations in advance. We were extremely disappointed of the service that evening, feeling ignored for the entirety of our time there. Our disappointment was further compounded by our cold drafty table, and the lack of apology we received from the staff members we interacted with. We went with the intention of having dinner and ordering a bottle of wine, and ended up going elsewhere for a quick bite. We absolutely still love the food, but are unsure if we will be back.

My party was overall disappointed with the overall service of this restaurant. This restaurant is advertised as a higher end Italian Restaurant, the prices reflected that. However I felt the service & the quality of food didn t reflect the price. The food was good for the most part. The atmosphere and the service that could have been improved on. It seemed as though POC were treated differently & at at the back of the restaurant, maybe that was an accident/coincidence for the time I was there, but it was quite off putting and very disappointing! for that reason especially I would not recommend this place. There are definitely better places in Hamilton for roughly the same price with exceptional service, good atmosphere and better food!

The food at Born & Raised is outstanding. Not in my top three best restaurants in Hamilton..... but very close. Ive been here twice now and the atmosphere is crowded, lots and not welcoming. It didnt stop me from going back to eat though. LOL. Also, the service is slow and not friendly. Having said this, you should try it at least once. But, there are a plethora of good restaurants in downtown Hamilton. Just on food alone will not create sustainability.

Food was tasty, but the service was extremely slow. Friendly staff, but not service staff. Waitress spilt a sauce all over on one of my friends while bringing the food to the table and didnt return with another one...or return at all for that matter, with another sauce, or even a free beer. Had to ask 3 different servers for a beer that took over 30 minutes. Just didnt seem like a professionally run establishment which is too bad. Had high hopes for this restaurant.

Dinner out with friends. Born and Raised was a treat! The restaurant is intimate with just the right mix of cozy and casual. The wood fired oven prominently located within the restaurant itself is the design of the owner Vittorio or Vito to the friends and families who have cherished his friendship over the years. The restaurant is his pride and joy and he makes the original Italian recipe pizzas himself. Our meals were fantastic, prepared with care and an obvious commitment to quality. Our wait staff was a wonderful young woman who obviously loves her work and is proud of the restaurant. All of the staff sere wonderful, dropping by our table to ask if we were pleased. The food is moderately priced but is made with the best ingredients. Everything was fresh and the flavours were outstanding. Vito visited the tables speaking with his guests to ensure they were satisfied. It was obvious that everyone was enjoying their time. Our son highly recommended this restaurant to us. It took us a while to take his advice, but were sure glad we did, Thank you to Vito and his staff for a wonderful evening. Well be back soon.

We have been here for 3 hours I got my meal wrong twice and drinks took forever. I would not recommend, tables here after us got served first. It was average food after meals were right but I still dont recommend this restaurant.

Maybe my expectations were too high. My husband and another couple and I do a dinner club on the 2nd Saturday of every month, trying a new upperscale restaurant every time. We made reservations a month out. The reservations required a credit card and warned that if our party size was reduced or if we didnt show, we would be charged a fee per person. This upped my expectations of an exceptionally great experience here that the demand is THAT high. We arrived at our reservation time of 6:30pm. Was seated and then ignored for well over 10 minutes. Menu is very limited and comes on a dirty clipboard. Cocktails were fine once finally received. Our party ordered 2 appetizers. First one took 25 minutes to arrive, the second took 40 minutes. Why were the appetizers brought out separately? They were good, no doubt, but service and timing was brutal. Only saving grace here was that the kitchen screwed up someone elses table and they brought us a free app to try because it was extra. Overall the appetizers were hot and tasty. Shaolin Boa, Buffalina pizza and spicy Brussels I would recommend. Timing way off. We were pretty full after the appetizers to be honest but since the mains took over an hour to arrive after that, we were kind of hungry again by that time thankfully. Took way too long for us to get our drinks while waiting, a couple drinks were forgotten along the way as well. The mains finally arrived. The steak was extremely undercooked and came with the wrong side. My husbands main came with the wrong side as well. Smashburgers were underwhelming, nothing special. Gnocchi was flavorless and overcooked with too much gravy. Washrooms are down steep stairs so dont go here if accessibility is an issue. Service needs a total revamp. Kitchen needs way more attention to detail. We finally got out of there 3 hours later. Not worth a credit card to book the reservation. We wont be returning.

Hi there we came last night April 15, my boyfriend received a born and raised card for his birthday a few months ago. I made these resos an about a week in advance but managed to get a not so great stop where it obstructed the back seat of an older couple. This being my first time, and my boyfriends many I was very excited for the food as well as the service. There was 4 of us and when we sat down there was only 3 menus. That was not a big deal, but we asked for another and it took 15 minutes. We wanted to order some apps, the man took our ordered but did not take the other two who weee sitting next to us. We thought he would come back but after 20 minutes he came back with the apps and not the food. There was no communication for any toppings for the burger and I feel like those should have been brought after the order. We got around 8 drinks per table so a fair making of money spent , and each time it was like pulling teeth for them to come. There was no communication , no asking if we needed anything. We had a gift card for 200 dollars, we spent around 150. We would have spent more but it was seriously painful watching how this restaurant operated. One thing that we did not complain about was the food. All the food was incredible we ordered a few apps between the tables. Getting our bill was also a massive issue. 25 minutes to get the bill, meanwhile we already decided we weee going to buy more drinks. At this point it s too late and we took our business elsewhere. It s disappointing that my boyfriends favourite restaurant was supposed to be known as one of Hamilton best places to dine. We wanted to order a wine but it didn t seem like anyone working had any knowledge. We came here for the vibe and atmosphere as well as the food. I just feel like this is a good couching lesson and staff need to be trained better. Either way we ripped him 20 dollars but our service needs to be more attentive. I also work in the customer service Field and this has been my worst dining experience in months Patricia

Service was slow. Took 45 minutes to bring drinks. Waiter spilled sauce on my pants, I asked for a replacement sauce, it never came. Its actually pretty wild, one would assume a waiter would remember that they spilled sauce all over someone, but no. I saw the same waiter at another table 5 minutes later continuing to live their lives.

Atmosphere and staff were great. Gnocchi was delicious and pillow fluffy. But was disappointed that the burger ordered was on such a plain bun. Did nothing for it. And sorry that bathrooms had to be downstairs.

Best steak EVER! This was our first meal in Hamilton and it did not disappoint!

Got to Born & Raised at 9:30 p.m on the dot on a Thursday evening, ordered our drinks and food promptly and didn t hear from our server or see our food for the following HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. It s one thing to be short staffed and have to deal with that, it s another to try and look busy ; but for a server to completely avoid eye contact and refuse to walk past our table while we wait for OYSTERS for over an hour? You know you ve done something wrong. Absolutely any other treatment would ve been better. Since it seems that you need some advice (or new staff): apologize to your customers for the wait, tell them you understand frustration, or give them ANY reason for why the service is SO bad. Won t be back.

I never write reviews but I ve never had worse service in my life. Came at 9:40. The restaurant was not busy. I was approached by my waiter for the first time at 9:55 and he didn t come by until another hour had passed at 10:40 when we were done the food. Bill took another 10 minutes. Have actually been here before and enjoyed it but what the hell.

I really wanted this to be a great food experience as I believe Hamilton can have a great food scene. I was very curious and excited to go. It started out great, cocktails were delicious and excellent. The appetizers were really good, the Brussel sprout, the oyster, the burrata and chicken taco were great. Pepperoni pizza was great. Well, the mains were weak, the steaks needed flavour. the gnocchi their signature dish was soupy as one can see from the picture and also needed more flavour. Maybe it was an off night but I was disappointed in the mains. The service although friendly was very slow, so slow that we skipped desert to get home. I hope Born&Raised can step it up. Will I go back?? yes I give it another try.

Omg where to start we went there last night. Our server BOB or bill can t remember I ve never had the worst experience at a restaurant Food took over an hour to get wasn t that busy bob came and told us half way through while waiting for food to keep it down we were being to loud. We were a group of 6 after waiting for our food for an hour we were 15 min in he came to us and said we had to leave soon because he had a party of 10 coming. We were so upset my wife couldn t even eat any more so we packed up our food and left. The customer service is the worst I ve ever seen and the funny part is he said we were being loud but then they had a singer come in to sing there BUT we were to loud ** the best part was my friend forgot his blazer he went in to go get. It and bobs comment to him was (SEE YOU NEVER ) what kind of place is this this will definitely be a conversation for the books will definitely share my story with everyone

Food was ok nothing special Atmosphere was ok. Now about our server Bobby, at first he was very nice, Then became very rude with us and asked us too Quiet down, but we were seated on the patio!!!! So before even taking our Food order, He then proceeded to rush us . right after our food was placed on the table which took over an hour Wait & asks us leave because where we were seated, the live entertainment needed to set up. (Not our Fault) Why would he sit us there if he knew this !!!!! . So we got upset and asked for our bill. Then when he gives us the bill & tried to apologize so he could get a Tip ! The best food I have had in Hamilton for sure. A lot of care goes into every ingredient and dish. They just know how to do it. We got two apps two mains every dish knocked it out of the park. Steak tartare, Burrata, Rigatoni & Meatballs and the Dry Aged Ribeye. Delicious and high quality. Pasta was perfectly Al Dente. The steak was superb for those who really want to appreciate the beef itself, great sear and flavour. Worth every penny and then some. Will be back for sure

We only stayed for drinks and apps, but everything was nice. A little understaffed, but what else is new anywhere. Staff were understanding, etc. Reasonable prices.

We were disappointed this time. Haven t been in 6 months. The restaurant was dirty. Filthy menus. Service was good. Not as good as before. Food still really good The Spicy rapini a hit I don t believe they had air so very warm. Just fans.

Was highly recommended from other Hamiltonian s and it did not disappoint! We shared several dishes amongst 5 people (4 adults, 1 kid) and we were all full but not overly so by the end. We had the Gnoochi, Rigatoni, Octopus, pepperoni pizza, oysters, and burrata. All highly recommended, can t pick a favourite cause it was all great!

My favourite place to eat in Hamilton. Came here for a friend s birthday the other night. Food (especially the burrata) is excellent. Our server was lovely and made a point of frequently checking in on us. Remains, in my opinion, one of the best spots to eat in the city.

One of our most favourite places to eat in Ontario, yes, even including Toronto. Amazing food, cocktails and staff. Perfect for a last minute 1 course quickie or a set a date n stay for a few hours feast.

Let my man Kyle make you a drink. Easily some of the best cocktails I ve ever had and the only thing that surpasses the drinks, is the vibe. So welcoming, so chill, Kyle, Bobby Bobcat , John, and everyone else will take amazing care of you. Couldn t ask for a better experience, food, and drinks. Hit this place up. @bornandraised management, please put Kyle s signatures/originals on your menu, they re too good.

Has an awesome birthday outing at B & R. It was a really great experience overall, but I must say - the home fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection - Id come back just for those. The tartar and burrata were also memorable!

Amazing birthday dinner last night. Great appetizers - burrata, garlic bread, parm fries! Delicious mains - pizzas, steak, rigatoni. Lovely desserts - gelato, cappuccino, affogato. Nice selection of wines. Attentive, friendly service. Reasonably priced. HIGHLY recommend!

Came here because we were told they make some incredible food so we thought wed visit. Bobby was our server and was awesome. Loved the setup inside and how busy it was. The food was great and wed visit again.

I used to like this place but no longer. I received a plate of rigatoni that had enough pasty looking sauce for 5 plates. It was so much that it looked disgusting to the eye. On top of the unpleasant plating, the sauce was extremely hot. I could not taste the sauce. Lastly, i tell 2 people who offer nothing to me, but sorry, well, sorry, there are several better options than you.

The food is delicious. Always has been. I dont know what has happened the last few years but the service is absolutely horrible. The wait staff were rude. The wait times were terrible. We had visited during the opening of pandemic and excused it last time but nothing has changed. Its a shame. Its a gem in Jamesville.

Wide variety of food options for an Italian place! The tiramisu was pretty good but the pastas were on the saltier side. The wait was a little long at times and the waiter was very busy.

I had the best Aged Rib Eye I have had in this country bar none.. and the reason its the best is because they actually know how to cook it medium rare... to perfection.. and sliced for you proper and with Rapini on the side... forget about it! these people are LeGGITT! dont waste time and get disappointed elsewhere... just come here, they are open till 2am!

My husband and I have been so many times. One time will always stick out and that was when we sat on the enclosed patio on a day where it was pouring rain. The warm, romantic patio kept us dry. We watched the rain through the windows, it is a magical place to enjoy that time. Food is always amazing. My husbands favourite is pork cheek and pineapple pizza and I usually opt for the truffle gnocchi. It s fabulous. Service is lovely, the atmosphere and mood won this place as one of our favourite spots!

1st time hanging out with some friends in Hamilton. Great experience, the staff was very attentive and the food was very good. Tjenlove DJ was playing the music loud enough to feel the vibe, but low enough to have a conversation. I would go again when Im back in town.

a pleasant place, the dishes are delicious at first glance, with good harmony of flavors and textures, the pasta was a must, perhaps a minute more cooking would have been good, the chefs perspective is correct, in my case a minute would have been great.
