My daughter and I had lunch yesterday at Claudio s - it was our visit there. The food was well prepared and delicious. Service and atmosphere, impeccable! Will certainly return! Food

This place is far too bright, really lacks any ambience. The corner I was in smelled like sewage, not what you want when youre eating. The battery powered pepper mill is trashy, if you ask me. The food is totally mediocre, its not bad, but on James St, there are so many other places Id rather go.

An absolute gem in Hamilton. The service is exceptional. I d say this place is definitely underrated. Definitely will go back next time I m in town.

I chose Claudios for a birthday dinner and it was such a nice experience. I had the best espresso martini ever, and for dinner we had the Pollo Tuscana and the Strozzapretti, both were superb! The restaurant itself felt classy and cozy. Our server was great and very knowledgable about the menu. I will recommend this location.

Great location! Friendly service

We went on a Holiday weekend on a Friday night and since I have never had Osso Buco I decided to try it and to be truthful I was quite disappointed as the meat was quite chewy. We went to a restaurant in Oakville last night and in comparison this Osso Buco was tender and fall off the bone. We wanted to try tiramisu at Claudios but were told the owner makes that and she was on vacation. not a super experience. Parking: parking was no problem

Update July 23, 2024: In all fairness to the staff at the restaurant, they did ask us how the food was shortly after we got the food. I am not sure of the timing though. The appetizers were fine. It was the mains that were very disappointing. This being said, even if we were asked when we had our mains, theres a certain reluctance on our part to tell them, point blank that this is bad food. We did not come out to eat for the evening to engage in criticism or face possible anger. No, the restaurant has had hours, or possible days, to get this menu item right. They are supposed to be experts, with experience in selecting the food, preparing it, and I would hope tasting it. It is not my job to help them prepare good (or even acceptable) food. Original Review: Mediocre food and service was a bit overbearing; grossly overpriced for what was offered. I had veal, which consisted a small portion of bland, almost tasteless strips of meat accompanied by completely forgettable sides. Seriously, I cannot even remember what they were. The caesar salad wasnt too bad, long leaves of romaine coated with the dressing. My wife had a pasta dish, with shrimp, and her observations were how small the shrimp were, how few there were, and that the dish was very bland.

Me n my fiancé had dinner here yesterday . Our waitress was very sweet and helpful . Not to mention the food was unreal . And the price was not too crazy . I recommend everyone to try this place .

A perfect spot to stop and grab a bite, amazing pizza and a beer, great service during the James street crawl/art festival. Theresa was fantastic! We will be back! Perfect meal and perfect ambience.

Team Coraggio - Ride to Conquer Cancer. We had our second team dinner (2023 & 2024)! The service and food was even better than last year! Kristine and her team - Liz do a great job It is a perfect ending to day 1 of riding! See you again in 2025!

Food was incredible. We booked this restaurant for our Ride to Conquer Cancer team dinner. We booked the meal as family style. My favourite items were the meatballs and the ravioli. Incredible! Kristine was our main contact and is the chef was an absolute delight to deal with. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I dined at Claudios, and the experience was outstanding. The food and drinks surpassed my expectations; the espresso martini creamy I ordered was absolutely amazing, a solid 10/10. We started with the fried calamari, which I would rate an 8/10, very crispy and loved the sauce it came with. Then, we ordered the four cheese gnocchi and the La Regina pizza, both earning a perfect score of 10/10. Dessert was tiramisu, also a delicious 10/10, accompanied by an espresso. The total bill for our three-course meal for two, including drinks, was $105. The price perfectly aligns with the quality of the food and drinks; it was truly some of the best Ive ever had. I really really recommend the dishes we had too. Although the restaurant is on the smaller side and parking can be challenging due to its location in a busy area, the outstanding food and the friendly service from our waiter, Liz, made it an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Claudios; youve definitely earned a spot as one of my new favorite spots for special outings.

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. Highly recommend.

We had a booking for 7:30 pm there on April 14,2024. We were there and no service for 20 mins. The server just came and served water but he didn t come to check in next 20 mins for food or drink. Restaurant was closing in one hr. And it was almost 20 mins and we just left. I doubt that server would have even noticed that we left as he was busy talking. Extremely terrible customer service.

We have been enjoying Claudio s for about a year now and all I have to say is that everything is just as amazing as the first time we sat in. The food 10/10 because the chef and kitchen staff never fail to impress us. Service is also 10/10. Romano and Liz are the best and most efficient servers. And we hope you get to meet the owner as well because she is a ray of sunshine. We even moved out of Hamilton and still drive in for dinner just for this establishment.

Unbelievable experience here (derogatory.) The owner must be one of the most dark sided individuals to ever infest our beautiful city of waterfalls. The attitude? Bountiful. The owners hobbies include shuffling passive aggressively and glaring at you over their glasses like an evil librarian in an 80s coming of age movie... So basically, everything I have ever dreamed of! The ambience is disheartening! The location doesnt leave much to the imagination if you know what I mean. The plates are white, the glass is clear and the food is served - evilly. Maliciously. Benevolently. With a smirk that suggests this might be the last time you ever dine - and what a joke to have your final mealie at such an establishment. TIP: Look up the history of this building at the Hamilton Public Library archives. If you can find the laminated copy of the original owners deed youll understand why most historians avoid this place like the plague. Good luck with the curse removal! Would love to return to this establishment to dig deeper but the groundskeeper has a frightening 100 yard stare that Id rather not come across again in this lifetime.

Finally found a top quality Italian restaurant! Very clean and reasonable. Every bite was succulent and the staff and owner went out if their way for our satisfaction. Definitely my #1 favorite restaurant in hamilton.

The intended vibe is fancy/expensive Italian, but I dont think that the food or service really match that intention. The meal we had was just ok. Our waiter was nice but there was another manager interacting with us more than we would have wanted. So between the excessive social aspect, mediocre food, and high prices, I dont recommend this spot.

Modern and relaxing atmosphere. Attentive staff and delicious food. Nice to see that since they changed location, there has not been any drop off. Will definitely dine again in near future.

Kid-friendliness: Really nice environment and excellent service and great music

Very disappointing. The online menu which drew me to the place was not what they were serving, and was not as interesting to me. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer. It was just like at a pub- deep fried breaded rings with a few green onions tossed over it to make it look like some effort was made. I could get better at Jack Astors or East Side Mario s- at least they make there s as a dish. I had a seafood pasta as a main. There was a paucity of seafood, about 6 tiny mussels, 4 small shrimp, two small scallops and two very salty ends of rubbery calamari. The sauce was more for colour than taste. With the rating of 4.6, I expected much more and left feeling cheated.

Tonight, my very very dear friends, Ljubo and Isidora, took me to this Beautiful restaurant, Claudios. As a past Restauranteur myself, I have to say; the food was simply Outstanding!!! From the appetizers to the main course, to the quality, to the taste, to the service......just absolutely amazing!! I even had the pleasure to meet the owner, Kristina, at the end of our night. As a Chef, short staffed in the kitchen tonight, Kristina did an amazing job!! The food; from presentation, to timing, to quality, to tatse, I give this restaurant a 6 out of 5 Star rating!! Thank you Kristina. It was a pleasure to have met you, and thank you for a wonderful dinner, great atmosphere and great company! The three of us had dinner here the Thursday before Easter in order to celebrate a birthday. I have eaten Italian food all over the world, and have rarely had a better plate. The mussels were succulent and perfectly prepared. And the veal with pasta was unique and wonderful. A nice wine list, great service. Try, you will like, and you will come back.

The proprietor is always available for a chat and very personable. The food is authentic Italian, and Ill admit better than mamas. Yummy

If youre looking for a home cooking style of place, the way nonna used to make it, then this is the place. The best osso buucco that Ive ever had. All the deserts are from local bakeries. Except the tiramisu, which is made onsite. My family will be going there again and again

I m from Orillia and friends of mine recommended we go here. The service was fantastic it was so incredible. The food was outstanding. We loved Liz and we were surprised when Christine the owner stopped in to check on us. They made us feel like we were at home. It was my first time here and I feel like Norm from Cheers. 5 stars absolutely and that s only because we can t give 10/10.

Had a great time here with the family for a birthday celebration. Staff are courteous and professional. Every dish we had was well received and the specials are intriguing enough to go back. Id recommend the Beef Carpaccio as a must. Only issue was the atmosphere, it wasnt very lively and does feel like a dead restaurant. This could have been the time of day or day of week but its noticable. Also with the open floor plan its especially obvious when the restaurant is empty. I hope this can be turned around, Id want nothing less for this beautiful establishment!

This place was amazing! Great service and exceptional food!!! We will definitely be back again soon! The only reason for only 4 star for atmosphere was because we had a group of 8-10 beside us and they were very noisy. The place is small and thier voices took over the whole restaurant. Try the mushroom pasta (i dont rememberthe actual name)... by far, its the best I have ever had. Mushroom lovers beware, I dont think there is a pasta with more mushrooms then this!!!! I ate it so quick I forgot to take a picture, so you just have to go try it!

Delicious food!

Went there with a friend to try Italian food , the salad was delicious but the pasta was gross, they told me it has a delicate white creamy sauce but on mine I have just pasta water, the grilled chicken was too dry , the whole dish was tasteless and a big disappointment. Will not go there again .. sorry but the only Italian thing there is the atmosphere and the environment plus the name.

Booked a table 3 weeks in advance for a visit from Texas to take my mom and my friend for his 70th birthday. Service was randomly provided by 3 different people. Check presented. A piece of cake offer as an afterthought. The birthday boy requested an espresso so they pulled the check and added the espresso to the bill. 3 salads, 4 entrees, 3 glasses of wine, bill $280 + 20% tip $330. Second time here. Never again.

My friends and I were introduced to Claudios by someone who has dined many times, and his recommendation was absolutely correct. The food was delicious and beautifully presented; the service was attentive and excellent; and our table looked out on Mulberry Street and was private. We enjoyed our meal and our time together, and I will certainly recommend Claudios to others.

My apologies to Claudio s for the delayed review. My husband, myself and my son whom we were visiting at McMaster were a walk in party but we were immediately greeted in a very warm manner. We sat and had a drink while we waited for a really nice table by the window. While we waited, the owner chatted with us like we were old friends. Once seated, we were waited on with attentive and genuine service. On top of this, our food was delicious. Salads, pizzas and pasta. We loved everything. Upon leaving the owner returned and gave me a hug and thanked us for coming. It was a lovely experience. I will happily return.

Terrible food and service. The owner looks evil and seems to be judging everyone who isnt white and boring like her. Seafood pasta was stale and watery.

A group of 10 of us went for our annual family dinner. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant which was private. We had a good waiter and everyone enjoyed their meals. The specials were delicious and the regular menu was equally tasty. A little pricey, but worth it. Will definitely return.

We were fortunate to be gifted a dinner at Claudio s and what a wonderful experience! The venue is beautiful with amazing Italian food. We had Caesar salad and garlic prawns to start, and then rigatoni and the Strozzapretti con fritti mare (sp? - Seafood pasta). All amazing, finished by a chocolate cake to die for and an espresso with ice cream. Christine and staff were excellent. Highly recommended!

Understaffed both server and kitchen, carpaccio had ice crystals. The pasta special, bay scallops, pancetta, tagliatelle was underwhelming swimming in the rose sauce. Took over an hour to be served our appetizers.

After reading so many positive reviews of Claudios, our group of 6 was looking forward to an awesome meal. It was the first nice meal out for one couple since the start of Covid. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Appetizer calamari, burrata and Caesar salads were just OK. Veal dish was tough and should have had some type of sauce. The seafood pasta did not say on the menu it came calamari, (of which there was a lot), and compromised the main ingredients being shrimp, scallops and mussels. The gnocchi dish was also just OK. The desert was described totally different (a custard type desert), from what was served which was a lemon curd flan. The topper of the evening was when we received our bills and luckily one person discovered that an 18% gratuity had been added to each couples bills (after one couple had already paid and added on an additional 18%). When the server was questioned she went back to the bar and said it was an error because we were a group of 6, even though we had separate bills. And no where on the menu it was stated that an 18% gratuity would be added to the bills. Also, the website shows linens on the tables, which there were not any and the wooden benches need some type of padding to make guests feel more comfortable. In good conscious we cannot recommend this restaurant and have no plans to return.

Great service, even better food!

We got together with a couple we had not seen for a long time because of COVID and were looking forward to a nice meal and conversation. Both couples arrived promptly at 7:00. Our server was very attentive and our appetizer arrived fairly quickly. However our entrée was not served to us until 8:45! During our wait of over an hour we were not offered bread or anything to tie us over. When our entrée was finally served there was no cutlery on the table. The good news the food was excellent. The bad news not only did we have to wait way too long the restaurant is VERY LOUD and trying to carry on a conversation was extremely difficult. They need to get a sound technician in the put up some dampers etc. so you can hear. And there are obviously issues with kitchen. I would give Claudios a couple of months to work out the kinks before eating there.

Went there to celebrate my grandmas 100th birthday. The staff were kind and helpful. The owner especially so. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was elegant. Our family was grateful for the experience. I personally would eat there again.

Pretty good Italian resturant, but the Italian food scene is strong in Hamilton and this one doesnt stack up against the likes of a place like La Cantina. Salad and carbonara was average. Pizza had a flavourful crust and was the best dish.

Enjoyed a wonderful night for a birthday celebration. By far the best service we ve received from waiter and host Romano. Food was excellent and atmosphere felt like home in an elevated way. Was truly impressed when Romano sang happy birthday to me, and opened the door when we were leaving that night. We will be going back!

Food was good with great service, but the food waiting time was ridiculously long. Also the seafood pasta is different from what I expected. Again, good Italian restaurant but I might not go there anymore unless I am sure I have time to wait for the food.

Went to Claudio s last night on a double date. We sat on the patio and had a great time. It was packed. The service was friendly, and efficient. Really good vibe. Owner Christine came to check on us as well. We had the calamari which were outstanding and smoked burrata caprese salad as starters. It was delicious and fresh. We had osso bucco, seafood pasta, risotto and pizza as our mains. Everything was so good. The cappuccino was the best outside of Italy. We didn t have the dessert. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend. It s a new spot in the city so it s still a hidden gem.

Not a bad spot, the food was good but the service needs work. 45 minutes to get an appetizer. Understaffed, server seemed unenthusiastic. Worth a try but i expected a little more coming from an Italian spot.

My friend and I went here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was nice, hostess welcoming. However, the food was not up to the standards for the prices. We got the mussels, most of which were extremely fishy and off-texture. The wine sauce was overly salted. We also got the calamari. EXTREMELY salty, my tongue was burning. It was also served with basically pure mayo, and served on a checkered wax paper (for the class of this restaurant, it was not appropriate). We got dirty martinis and it was 100% pure olive juice, my friend could not finish it and asked if it could be taken off the bill. The waitress initially brushed her off and returned with the bill. Upon questioning the drink again, the waitress abruptly explained that it was illegal to discount alcohol ; this is not true, especially when the drink was inedible. Overall would not return, and honestly it s a shame.

Our meal was delicious! Simple ingredients but excellent quality and great flavours! Our server/bartender Romano was fantastic! He made sure we were comfortable and prepared us excellent cocktails. We will deffinitley be back again.

Cute Italian restaurant on James St N features many daily specials. This spot is very central I d you are planning to have dinner and walk around to other spots as well. The atmosphere was a little strange, no music and separation between others dining. The service was fantastic, loved our server. For appetizers, we had the Burrata(daily special) and the Octopus Carpaccio(daily special). The Burrata was delicious! The Octopus Carpaccio was okay. The entrées the Ossobucco, Beef Carpaccio and the Gnocchi(special). The Ossobucco was tender. The Beef Carpaccio was delicious, it could have used another texture to elevate it. The Gnocchi had pesto and pistachio. It was good, the gnocchi didn t seem house made.

Had an amazing meal here. Everything was top notch!

The service was good. The quality of the food was disappointing. The calamari was middle of the road, the carpaccio was drowning in olive oil. Had the braised lamb tagliatelle and it was served steaming hot to the point that I couldnt eat it for almost five minutes. I suspect it was microwaved and because it was so hot, it didnt have much flavour. There are lots of restaurants in this space in Hamilton and this wasnt stand out.

We went for a girls night out tonight and this restaurant did not disappoint. It was such a great night! It had a great vibe, classy modern decor and the food was amazing. Our waiter Romano was so attentive and made the best cocktails. He even walked us out when we left. The owner Christine is so wonderful and takes such pride in her establishment and makes sure everyone is having a good time. Her connection with her staff is very genuine. Her connection with her guests is even better. We will definitely be back again.

My 1st time at this place the food wasn t bad the atmosphere is nice and clean and decor was beautiful but one thing I didn t like is the waitress brought us the bread and it had fungus on the bread and said let me check and never mentioned it again so I just let it go but I think really they should take better care than that because if I was a heath inspector that would ve been a problem also it s understandable they have their regulars and they treat them very well but if u aren t forget about it I ll tell u that much

Had such a great time at Claudios! The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and decorated nicely. The server was so nice and funny, really making the experience personal. The food was phenomenal!! We had the calamari to start and they were cooked perfectly and served with a delicious aioli. The burrata was so fresh and tasty. I had the spaghetti frutti di mare and the portion was HUGE and full of goodness. Everyone at the table enjoyed their main dishes as well. We also go desert - the chocolate cake and the apple caramel cheesecake with some coffees. The chef even came out to greet us once we said how much we enjoyed our dinner. What a great time! Definitely will be going back!

I have been calling this restaurant every day to make reservations and no one picks up. This is why I gave a one star review. Get with the times and at least get an answering machine I think that not getting ahold of this restaurant was probably the universe telling me that its not that good of a place to eat.

We celebrated at Claudio s this evening and it was an amazing culinary experience. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. The servers are kind and professional. The food was presented nicely and tasted impeccable. We recommend the apple caramel cake for dessert . We met Christine, the owner, she was lovely and down to earth. All in all it was great time with good eats (and drinks )

Went to Claudio s last Monday, the service was outstanding and the food was awesome. The grilled Caesar salad was different, but so good! My entree was the Veal and I would recommend it to anyone. I had a great experience and will go back soon!

Family friends come and have great food

We hosted our wedding dinner here and it was perfect. They helped set up our tables, food was delicious and the bar and service staff were quick, and so nice!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant where I was served by a server named Liz. From the moment we sat down, Liz made sure to take excellent care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Liz made sure to check in on us regularly, refilling drinks and making recommendations for dishes that we might enjoy. She also made sure to check on us after each course, asking if everything was to our liking and if there was anything else we needed. In addition to providing excellent service, Liz also had a great personality and was a joy to interact with. She had a great sense of humor and was able to put us at ease, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, Liz truly made our dining experience a memorable one, and I would highly recommend her as a server to anyone looking for great service at a restaurant. She truly exemplifies what it means to provide excellent customer service, and I hope to have the opportunity to dine with her again in the future

Exceptional authentic Italian food with staff that really care for their customers and full knowledge of their menu. Definitely worth a try and looking forward to the next trip there already!

We try to visit every couple of months or so because the food and service is always OUTSTANDING. We visited this time with another couple and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Started with caprese salad and some of the best garlic bread Ive ever had. I tried the special pasta dish with ricotta ravioli, chicken, in a light thyme cream sauce. Heavenly. My partner enjoyed his tenderloin. Christine is a truly gifted chef and everyone is so personable and professional. Great wine choices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Lovely room as well.

Dined here on NYE and everything was fantastic. Service by Ronaldo was great and the food was wonderful. Chef Kristine does an amazing job in the kitchen, bringing Italian classics like bruschetta and cioppino to life with vibrant new flavours and Claudio himself was a grand host. 5 stars.

Lovely people. Fantastic food. Would highly recommend. The people were super kind and friendly, the service was excellent- just right without being pushy. They were very very nice people indeed!!!!!! The food was the best we have had in a week in Canada!!! The meat was perfectly cooked, pasta perfect, salad was perfectly fresh and tasty, breads were fresh. Pudding was a treat. Definitely worth a visit or two!

Delicious Italian cuisine and very friendly service!!

My husband and I went for dinner last night. Had a most wonderful dining experience. As this was our first time there, we were not sure what to expect. My husband had the BEST EVER grilled calamari and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sicilian salad for our appetizers. For our entrees we had the Pasta Mare and the Chicken Henry. Both so delicious, fresh and beautifully presented!!! And piping hot!!! The service was unlike anything we have previously experienced. So kind, thoughtful and attentive. Thank you to Kristine and Claudio!!! We will most definitely be back!!!

One of the best Italian restaurants out there! Not only is the food they make authentic and delicious but the service is excellent as well as the ambient of the whole restaurant. Its clear that they put in extra effort and care into what they bring to the table.

Claudios is hands down one of the best restaraunts in Hamilton! Its my familys go to in the city. Theres something on their menu for everyone. The four cheese gnocchi is to die for. A few of my other favorites are the lemon chicken, carbonara, and salmon. The staff, Claudio & Christine make you feel right at home. If you havent been yet I STRONGLY recommend you go. We always leave beyond satisfied and craving to go back the next day :)

Came in after 6 on a weekday and was seated immediately. Was the only customer seated for my whole meal. Food was brought quickly. Food was only okay, pricey for what it was. Waitstaff werent particularly attentive, I waited a fairly long time after I finished before I was able to get the bill.

Always the best food and hospitality. Many happy occasions and Christmas parties were spent there with good friends. Great hosts who interact with their guests to make them feel special.

Beautiful little place. Cool guy who seemed to take pride in our meal. And very thoughtful host as well. But most importantly the food was mouth watering. The chef came right to our table to ask us how it was. If Im ever back here again Ill make sure to stop by.

Fantastic food and even better service.

My wife and I and another couple went on a Wed night and had a fabulous dinner at Claudios. Ive had dinner and lunch here on several occasions in the past and have never been let down by the food or service. Two of us had the Gnocchi & Braised Rib special which was outstanding!! The Veal Henry was excellent and the Spaghetti Carbonara was superb & plentiful (we took home half of it)!! I find some of the comments regarding price surprising. This is a fine dining restaurant with white linen tables offering excellent food and service that is NO more expensive than a Keg Steakhouse or similar. I found pricing on food and wine to be extremely reasonable! Host Claudio and wife/chef Kristine are always pleasant and checking to see if everything is to our satisfaction! Dont hesitate to dine here - you wont be disappointed!

This a really nice restaurant run by really nice people. Service, atmosphere, and food quality all 4/5. Prices are reasonable and they seem to ad a personal touch to your meal. Will visit again and recommend.

A fantastic little Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Our waitress ended up being the chef, and treated us like her own family. I was in the mood for a seafood pasta dish and even though it was a Friday feature, she made it for me anyway (on a Tuesday). The food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is very cozy, my boyfriend and I felt right at home. I recommend this quaint restaurant for anyone looking for an intimate date night spot.

Absolutely my most favourite spot for a more upscale meal. Excellent food, portions and taste and service etc are well worth the price. A fun, welcoming, warm environment. The lady and gent running the place are spectacular... Honestly, just love love love this place. Wish i could go back there often. I suggest it to everyone!!!! Its always the first place I say when someone is looking for a good experience in this city :)

From the second I entered this hidden gem, we were greeted by the owner and the staff and shown to our table. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The service was beyond reproach, absolutely 5 star. The chef came to the table and was a delight to speak with. You are able to tell that she embodies what she does and truly creates her dishes with love and the true spirit of Italian Cuisine. This family owned and operated restaurant is not one to be missed. A must if looking for that genuine experience of great food, welcoming atmosphere and an overall delightful experience.

The service and the food are both fantastic. We brought our two year-old well before the dinner rush and the chef, owner and waiters all made her feel very special. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for Christmas. The food was great, the burratta was the best Ive had (having never been to Italy). I highly recommend this restaurant.

If youre in Hamilton - go here! The best for Italian food + the drinks are amazing and well priced! Get the Orata filet, you wont be disappointed.

Wonderful early dinner before our concert. The Chef had gone out to shop so it took some convincing to get the sous chef to cook. Completely worth it! Pasta was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The wine was very good. And the service was awesome. How often do you have a first class restaurant to yourselves. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice Italian meal experience. We hope to come back next time we are in Hamilton.
