I went to here yesterday had all-you-can-eat dinner, the food was amazing and fast serving. The only thing is it was kind of slow for refilling my drink. The server brings me in was a girl Ana always impressive how fast she is.

Went for lunch the other day, food was good, nothing fancy or over the top, though the shrimp tempura batter to shrimp ratio was a little heavy on the tempura side. The fish rolls were tasty and excellent salmon roses. Easy to order with the iPad. Service was excellent, our water cups were never dry. There s parking but not a big lot and it s shared with other businesses. Would recommend to others and go again.

The food & service are 10/10. The staff are always very friendly & the food is very fresh. They have some of the best flavoured dumplings I ve had at an AYCE. They have unique sauces not just mayo with each option one is a really tasty creamy dill sauce with the chicken wings. The fried steamed buns are the chefs kiss.

Ive been here twice now, so I wanted to leave a review. My husband doesnt care for seafood, and Im incredibly grateful theres non seafood options that taste equally delicious. Gave us a chance to rotate between ordering things for myself, and him. Sooooo good! The food is delicious, the service is fast and super friendly. Thank you to the lady that made my husband learner chopsticks, when you saw him struggling. It was very sweet and helpful

The food selection is vast array of fish and meats that will slap all your senses till it lulls you into a food coma. Cant go wrong with all you can eat authentic Japanese sushi Also I have to mention the staff and the chefs. Their incredible kindness and energy is unmatched. Ive never felt so welcome at a restaurant. Five stars and well deserved, Bravo!!

I recently visited this Japanese restaurants buffet, and I have to say the experience was extremely disappointing. First off, the variety of food was incredibly limited nowhere near what youd expect from a buffet. The sushi selection was basic and uninspired. For example, the salmon sushi had very thin slices of fish, which lacked freshness and had a slight fishy taste. The rice was poorly made too wet and sticky, and it didnt have the proper flavor or texture. The sushi station also wasn t replenished quickly enough, and once the fresh pieces were gone, there was no prompt replacement. The sashimi was equally disappointing, with only three or four options, and the quality was subpar. The fish lacked the fresh, delicate flavor that you expect from good sashimi it felt like it had been sitting out for too long and was a bit mushy. As for the hot dishes, they were even worse. Many of them appeared to have been sitting out for a long time. The tempura, for example, looked golden and crispy at first glance, but when I bit into it, it was soggy and lacked any crispiness at all. The batter was overly thick, and the texture was just wrong. The fried chicken was equally disappointing greasy and dry inside, with no crispness. Other dishes, like the eel rice and various stir-fries, were bland and unremarkable, and some of the food looked like it had been left out too long, losing its freshness and flavor. The service was another major issue, especially with the front desk staff member named David. His attitude was unprofessional and quite off-putting. When we first arrived, he didn t greet us with a smile or even acknowledge us warmly. He was preoccupied with his computer and barely looked up to check us in. The entire check-in process felt rushed and impersonal. Throughout the meal, whenever we had questions about the buffet or needed assistance, he was short with us and didn t seem interested in helping at all. His responses were curt, and he came across as annoyed that we were even asking for help. Additionally, the restaurant s cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The tables were not cleaned properly, and there was food debris on the floor. The staff seemed indifferent to the mess, which made the overall atmosphere feel unkempt. The dining area didn t look well-maintained, and it was uncomfortable to sit in a space that felt a little dirty. Finally, the replenishment of food was extremely slow. A buffet should offer fresh food regularly, but here, the food stations were often empty or only partially filled. I had to wait for a long time for new items to be brought out, and some items, like sushi and hot dishes, were left to sit too long before being replaced. Overall, this was a very disappointing buffet experience. The food quality was poor, the selection was limited, the service was lackluster, and the restaurant s cleanliness was subpar. For the price, it was not worth it at all. If youre looking for a good Japanese buffet experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Decent sushi overall

What happened to this place? We ve been clients for more than 20 years. Pick up order: Next to no wasabi & sliced ginger for 18 pcs of sushi. Very cold tempura shrimp. Tough chewy sirloin. Pad thai recipe has taken a turn for the worse as well as being cold & mushy. Spring rolls were ok. Called them and didn t even get an apology, refused to deliver some wasabi & ginger. (Offered a $5.00 discount on next order instead). Had to go back to pick it up. Never again. Don t bother with this place folks, it s recently gone way down hill. Highly suggest August 8 or any other sushi place but not Supporo!

I haven t said anything there anymore, and I won t order from that restaurant again. Its a very dirty restaurant, especially the man in charge of their online orders. recently visited this plece and was thoroughly impressed. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was flawless. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The variety on the menu is excellent, and the flavors are true to traditional Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend the tempura and ramen simply delightful!

Today is a friends birthday. I saw an event saying that I would go with four people. The birthday person can go for free. However, including our birthday friends, there are only four people in total. After we arrived and talked to the staff, the staff was also very helpful. They were friendly and helpful in coordinating, and the taste is as delicious as ever. I really recommend it to everyone.

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE So disappointed. The food is gross. We ordered the sashimi set, and all the fish is frozen(the tuna even have ice on it )and it have a strong fishy smell which is disgusting. The soy sauce tastes much lighter than it should be(we guess it mix with water), and wasabi is already a bit yellow and black when it came. Just do not go!

First time eating a Bento box, really well made

We tried all the sushi places in town. All the other places seem to be lack luster. We have always been quite happy after a good meal from Sapporos.the pieces are much larger there. Theyre menu variety is so much better then everyone elses around the city.

Kid-friendliness: If well behaved this would be good for children. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps on sidewalks, door is flush with sidewalk but there will be a turn and another door.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. The sashimi s very fresh and tasty. Torched sushi and tempura calamari recommended. Service was quick and prompt. Last visit was in 2020 during Covid. Been missing the food for four years and it turned out to be as great as before. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Washroom was clean as well.

Lots of tiny bones in the chicken fried rice. Crab meat tasted awful. Water glasses were dirty. Forgot my appetizer and it took about 40 minutes to come out. The drinks were yummy. Sushi rolls are really large and hard to eat lol. The price for everything was really good though. The veg tempura roll was yummy. Pretty much no customer service :P

Good food, nice place, was there a few weeks ago. Experience marred only by a grubby-looking employee (tall thin young man) dressed in a tshirt and track pants, helping out on the floor. Totally inappropriate clothing for a nice place like this, he looked like he was dressed for lounging at home. Staff should be appropriately dressed. Easy to fix!

Try the all-you-can-eat lunch. There is no sashimi in the all-you-can-eat lunch, but there are still nigiri sushi and hand rolls. The quality of sushi is similar to other all-you-can-eat restaurants nearby, but the cooked food here is generally delicious. A small demerit point is that the takoyaki is very authentic and there are few dim sum choices, but the overall flaws are not hidden and it is a place worth coming to.

Food and service was great! Although when we walked in, it took about a good 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged to be seated... The atmosphere is a bit crowded with no much private setting... Its like a cafeteria... Needless to say sushi was great and fresh! Will come back for sure.

Ive been to Sapporo Japanese&Thai Restaurant a few times now and they are excellent. I wish I lived in Hamilton to be able to enjoy their very broad menu more frequently. Im most impressed with their menu system, fast food preparation and the kindness of their staff.

I would give them 10 stars if I could, Sapporo is our go to sushi place! Always fresh, tasty selections and amazing sashimi!! This place is a must if you re a sushi lover!!

We always go to Sapporo to celebrate birthdays or whenever we miss having sushi. Weve been going here for years. Its a convenient location downtown close to everything. The food is consistently excellent quality- freshly made, tasty. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love Sapporo

This place use to be great but it s rapidly gone down hill. Ordered take out and the wasabi was brown, dry and clumpy. Ate in the restaurant recently and it s really dirty and the service is horrible where you are hardly acknowledged. Some of the food tasted old and slimy so couldn t even bear to eat it.

Wow this gem has such fresh fish I didn t need the rice. A La Carte was our route, but also serving all you can. Everything was delicious and well put together for a beautiful display. The soups are $5 and under. Loved this place! Kind friendly staff and clean restaurant thank you

I have regularly ordered from Sapporo for the last decade and it has almost always met or surpassed expectations for delivery, let alone sushi. My daughter has adored their gyoza since she was 5 (is now 9), and can slay 3 orders of them these days. Whenever there has been an issue, they have always made it up to us. Albeit, at some level of persistence of my own. Thank you Sapporo! Even if it was cold, it tasted good with the Sapporo beer.

The sushi was very good for all you can eat. The presentation was great as well. Highly recommend especially when compared to competitors in the Brantford area. I would say its worth the extra drive to go here then anywhere else in Brantford or Hamilton for all ylu can eat sushi.

This is my familys favourite Sushi spot in Hamilton! We have a variety of sushi flavours between all of us - from vegan/vegetarian to fish and raw fish. Everything we get here is always delicious! The food is always fresh, and there is never an error with our order. Very large menu too so something for everyone in our family (who has vegan, vegetarian, regular diet & gluten free diet).

Great place for dine in or takeout. I prefer take-out and have only been mildly disappointed once. After that, I said nothing and tried another time, and my food was perfect. Since that incident, I have eaten here over 10 other times. Never once been disappointed. Might I add even the disappointment was one tiny piece of meat was too fatty. To repeat my statement, I have had nothing but great experience. The bento boxes are my absolute favorite for lots of diversity in your meal. Portions are excellent for the pricing. I am always full to the max, and I am over 6 feet and over 200lbs athletic build. Try them and you will mot be disappointed.

This was my first visit here. I have been to a good number of Ayce Japanese places. Everything here was really, really good. Parking: Based on other reviews, I felt fortunate to get a good spot in their lot. That started my visit off on the right foot.

Went here about a month ago and I Ive got to say its one of the best if not the best all you can eat Japanese place that Ive been to, they have a ton of variety such as Rolls, Salad, ice cream, Cake, ect. Definitely make me full.

We have been to the restaurant many times. The food is always good and seems fresh. At times the service is slow. We also enjoy food delivery from this restaurant, however they hardly ever deliver on the time promised.
