I had the pleasure of being assisted by the owner, who was incredibly approachable and friendly. Initially, I planned to take my order home, but I couldnt resist and ended up finishing everything on the spot! I ordered the Shish Kabobs, and they were absolutely delicious flavorful and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend trying them!

Easily the best shawarma place in Hamilton. And a true hidden gem. If you happen to be hungry and on James Street, look no further. I got the - mixed shawarma rice plate - chicken shawarma wrap The meat was the tastiest I have had in a wrap or on rice. I have no idea what they marinate it with or top it with. But it is super fresh and nothing was greasy. Their salads were so good too! There are a few tables if you do want to dine in. Their service was friendly and quick too. The only real reason for a 3 rating is their working hours. Easy 4 if they ever extend it. I will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!

I gave it 3 stars, but not because the food is bad, but I didnt feel particularly wowed by it either. Having tried other Shawarma places in Mississauga/Brampton my expectations are thus a little higher. Im still looking for one in Hamilton that gets close to that. The Customer Service was still very nice though and the restaurant itself looks good. So treat this review as your mileage may vary.

Today I went to this restaurant to eat but first I used restroom to wash my hand, I asked the lady if they serve soup which is she replied yes, I realized I forgot both my wallet and phone in my vehicle, so i went to go and grab em from my car , but surprisingly the lady came out after me in angry manner just to call me Im rude because I only want to use their restroom not ordering food, when I turn round and hear that while other ppl was onlook I couldnt believe it that theres ppl like her existing yet working in restaurant, so I came home and called to talk to the manager but it was a lady who answered the phone and telling me theresnt such thing here as a manager, what u want? I told her u are very rude and Im going to flag u guys on website, she replied with laughter and told we dont care go ahead, again I cant believe such a place exist with the name of business, I wondering if they really have restaurant license, because these kind of ppl with their attitude shouldnt allow run any business never mind restaurant, Im so regretting that I had ate in this restaurant before,

Great Halal shawarma place in town! They now take debit/credit. Have been coming here since they first opened. Not like youre typical Arab shawarma places in town, this is Assyrian based and you must try it if you havent. Great family run place and has always been that way. Very clean, healthy and tasteful.

My wife and I moved away from Hamilton in 2016 and came for a visit today for the first time since. We decided to have lunch at one of our favorite places and were not disappointed. Such fresh and tasty food. Very clean restaurant run by a wonderful family. So happy to see some things havent changed!

My favourite place in the world to get a falafel wrap. I dont know what they do to make it so delicious, but the balance of flavours is always perfect and the texture is wonderful. They also have delicious tabouli, and my partner swears by the beef shawarma wraps. Aside from the delicious food (and again, I must emphasize that it is delectable), the people who work here are lovely! Ive been coming here since I was 14 so they know my order the moment I come through the doors, and theyre always very friendly. Nabils is a Hamilton icon and I hope that anyone reading the reviews will take this as a sign to give them a try!

Great place and actual Middle Eastern food done by Middle easterns.i see alot of other middle eastern food places and the food doesnt taste the same (not cooking it the right way or missing spices) but the food here is amazing, taste like my moms cooking! Its a must if your around the area and hungry.

Had tried a lot of place for the falafel wrap but every places lacks in some or the other things. Some make it too sour, too spicy there is no balance to taste. But this place makes the perfect falafel wrap at the best price than any place and even the wrap is huge. Love the taste

This was amazing Shawarma, one of the best Ive had...

The staff was friendly. Two people who helped me seemed genuinely interested in making sure my experience there was a pleasant one. I had a falafel sandwich. For $10 you get a big one. So I would say the price is fair considering the size. Falafel had a chickpea taste to it but it could definitely have been stronger. Here is the problem, they kept putting parts of my sandwich into the microwave. Thats a deal breaker for me. Microwaves are for popcorn not for cooking food in restaurants. No one in the middle east makes you a falafel sandwich using a nuke oven.

I was looking to get dinner for a party of 5 in Hamilton and visited Nabil based on Suresh Doss recommendation. Nabil Middle East Food is totally worth a visit. I would say it was the best middle eastern food Ive had in Hamilton. We ordered Combo 4 which has a variety of meats, rice, pita and garlic sauce. We also got salad on the side. I appreciated how they kept the crispy pita out of the salad until served. Food portions are generous and very delicious. Loved their home made hot sauce. Overall, great place and Highly recommend you give it a try! Also, it seems like a family run business, great service and energy from all of them.

This place is our favourite family establishment! It warms my heart to bring my family here. A visit to Nabil is like being graciously invited into their home. The kindness and love that goes into the food and service is palpable. Thank you for treating us and feeding us like we re family.

I ordered Nabil for the first time based on the good reviews. They did not disappoint!! The tabouli is exactly like my dad used to make. So delicious, so authentic, such excellent service, SO GOOD!! I catered by birthday party with my whole family, and Nabil was a total hit.

Very tasty, fresh, and great value. The salads are very fresh, my preference is the tabbouleh. Chicken shawarma wrap is fresh with very fresh pita, great with a bit of hot sauce and the house white sauce. The same with the falafel wrap where they add a bit of cabbage - nice touch. Chicken, rice, and salad combo is great deal. Ive also had the lentil soup, great on a cold day. It takes a bit of time (less than 5 minutes) to get your meal, but well worth it. Owners are respectful and accommodating.

Picked up a falafel wrap and chicken shawarma platter with rice and salad. Everything was delicious, I loved both the falafel and chicken shawarma. Rice was nice and well cooked. Salad was fresh and I love the lemon dressing. Place is very clean and organized, reasonable prices, service is fast , people are nice. I highly recommend this place

This place is a true kebab place, they know what they are doing. My wife is from Adana (a city in Turkey) where Kebab is a the most important part of the cousine and she really loved this place. Their service is also so good and they are very cheerful, as I understand they love what they are doing.

I was so close to reporting this place for food safety concerns. My husband and I ordered beef shawarmas and both of us ended up getting food poisoning within an hour.

Ive been to this place many times and its been great. But our most recent time, me and my friend ordered chicken wraps, and he got food poisoning bad. I thought it was just him but the next day I had painful heart burn and shortness of breath, which lasted almost a week. Honestly not going back which is too bad because Ive gotten lunch here many times before.

I have been going to Nabil for years and it is my favourite place to get Middle Eastern food in Hamilton. Their lentil soup is the best Ive ever had! Their staff are super warm, friend, and personable. Walking through the doors is such a positive experience. I recommend this place to so many people!

It is not a busy restaurant but it take quite some time to get your food as the staff are just walking around and talking. It took about 10 minutes to get a beef wrap ready. In regards to the quality of the food, I can say that it can be served better for the price they charge.

Its a $1.50 to add hot sauce to a meal on skip the dishes.

We picked up some shawarma and baklava this evening. It was the best weve ever had. The flavours were spot on and well balanced. The quality of the food was top notch. I had the spicy mixed shawarma and my wife had the non spicy one and we both loved it. The baklava was not too sweet, but just spot on. This is food that will leave you wanting more because its so good, but its also very filling.

Such a great place. Reasonable prices and generous portions. I used to get the wraps, but have switched to the mixed dinner because the rice is so good! They are now taking debit too instead of just cash.

First time eating here and I will be back! Ordered the kabob and chicken takka over rice with salad on the side. The food was hot and fresh, deliciously spiced and cooked with care. Prices are very reasonable for the portion! Lovely owners who are very friendly. I wish I had known about this place sooner!

The workers are super nice and the food is great. BUT they do not wear masks while working!! Hand sanitizer is available, physical distancing signs and signs requiring masks on guests are posted, but no masks on employees which I think should be priority, especially in a food service. Its a shame, I would have given them 5 stars if not for that.

Shawarmas, beef and chicken, tasted good, despite missing pickled beets and parsley, and not prepared in front of you like other shops. Price at $7 for beef was more than Im used to paying for Shawarmas in Montreal, so Im not likely to return any time soon. Thanks for the meal.

I always get the chicken and rice here. Rice is cooked and seasoned perfectly and nothing is too greasy.
