I normally leave 5 star to restaurants anywhere I visit but todays experience with Vida La Pita team made me leave this review. You guys need more trainings when it comes to valuing customer, customer service and serving individuals in line according to their order sequence regardless of their sex. It doesnt mean when you see women, you undermine others right. Especially when you are told that you made a mistake, you have to listen and accept your mistake instead of arguing and blaming your customers. Secondly double check the bag when you handover to your customers to make sure if there is fork and napkins espcially when ppl order food like poutin and gravy stuff. I managed to come back and pick up the fork and napkins, but others may not be able to. It was my regular place and I used to stopby and grab my food, but not anymore. I dont want to come to a place where i am not valued and respected as a customer. There are so many other Shawarma places in the city that can better serve me.

OMG. I used to come here all the time 7 years ago and the food was amazing. The best Swharma in Hamilton! Came back just last night (Saturday) and the chicken and beef swharma salad tasted like dead meat; disgusting! My stomach felt the same way when I ate McDonald s burger. Fake meat, lowest quality. I wouldn t come back. The cleanliness is questionable too.

Got a falafel plate. It was just ok.... The salads were really lacking, no actual prepared salads just loose lettuce and onions really, and a piece of turnip or two. At least it wasnt overpriced at $10

Depending on the person making your Pita it can be unbelievable or full of bones and grizzle. Edit: New staff, amazing food every time I go these days.

If you are looking for affordable halal food with a bunch of options, this is THE place to go to. Surprisingly affordable and tons of options to choose from. Must try their fries with white sauce and you will thank me later. Dietary restrictions: Everything is halal

These people are a scam. They are charging people for items that you dont buy. Imagine how much money it makes after smuggling a dollar from everyone. Also, I asked to switch my drink with a non sugar drink they charged me extra for switching can Coke with can Freca. The bold man in there is no Muslim he is a pretender.

This is one of the most visited place in downtown Hamilton. All the employees are so friendly and happy to serve you better. Theyre open till late night on Fridays and Saturdays. Food quality is really good!

I used to love coming here because of the amount of food you get with your order now its ridiculous they dont even fill the to go box anymore it barely even gets to the line. And on top of that I literally asked them to put once piece of onion in it, automatically dollar extra when that once piece of onion would cost 10 cents. Neighbours shawarma gives you what you pay for.

I have to tell you all, this is the BEST shawarma Ive ever had all around, the toppings, the meat, the sauces, but what sent this to #1 of my list was the FRESH hand-made wrap holding it all together. I got a flafal wrap and the inside of flafal was raw and not cooked at all, when I went to tell the guy that it is not cooked he said this is how it is. It was literally uncooked dough from inside. I had a stomach ache after that. Really disappointed

Very disappointed. I ve come here every time I m in Hamilton. Tonight I threw out the food I ordered. The young guy working added toppings as he asked if I wanted them (I didn t want some), and the other person (that checked me out, and wrapped my shawarma), was hacking and coughing into the hand he touched the wrapper with. He did wash before wrapping the actual shawarma. Either way, very disappointed. Waste of $11, but it s been good in the past.

Busy place during meal times but service is fast. The food taste depends on the sauces/ condiments that you request. Enjoyed the chicken with garlic sauce and fresh garden salad with olive oil/ lemon juice- large size. Affordably priced for most of the items on the menu. Restaurant is fairly clean. Recommend you try this place when youre craving for a pita wrap, salad or rice meal.

Update: they have redeemed themselves! Food is back to tasting great. They have added a bunch of fresh pitas that are baking store and other Middle Eastern foods prepped deli style . This place used to be so good. I m not even joking when I say I used to eat here 5x a week now I don t know what happened but it s definitely gone down hill. The food is not the same.

Called at 11:30 and they close at 12, first they didnt wanna take my order, then they didnt let me dine in since they have to catch the bus. Owner should know employees are leaving early when they close at 12? Please change hours if this is the case

Stomach felt like I ate Concrete! Disgusting Food. I had the Falafel, And my Partner had the chicken shawarma.. Omg so nasty. The Falafel was definitely out of a box mix.. Tasted like Cardboard mixed with Chemicals.. I dont Know what they are thinking. My Partners Shawarma was falling apart within the first few bites, Sauces just dripping like a soup.. 20$? Never again! I should of Known after taking one step inside this place the food was going to be Low Low Quality. The Decor is like 1970s with heavy grime and mold visible to the eye.

I was excited to try this place out but I was very disappointed. The food quality was subpar and without taste. Their garlic sauce had a lot of mayonnaise mixed in. Their chicken for the chicken fries was full of fat and skin. Would not recommend or visit again. The only positive thing was the worker was very informative and friendly.

Should try the plate combos. They are really good and come in two sizes for people wanting to save on money and dont want to waste.

Ive been coming here for years. Its always been my go to spot in Hamilton, from when I was a young adult coming from the bars, to when I was on my way home after a long day at work. I have to say though...coming back after a long time, their quality has gone above and beyond what it already was. Delicious new additions to their menu such as the lentil soup and fresh bread are a staple. Highly recommended!
