Best Ramen shop! We used to live in Hamilton and now that we re an hour away, we still go for a drive to go to this place.

This places heals.

Stoped in for a nice bowl on a cold day. Service was quick, food was hot, service was good and price is fair.

We did takeout, it was not the best food. But the price was good

Disrespectful manager the old lady the food is good but she is Disrespectful to uber eat drives the ways she talks to thats why i wouldnt advice people to support that type of restaurant.

Very rude manager to food delivery drivers as they treat us like garbage specially the manager.

The atmosphere and the food were the best Ive tried from any kenzos yet, I could not recommend this one more. Staff were incredibly professional and helpful; we had someone with us allergic to shellfish and the waitress helped us every step of the way.

I love Kenzo Ramen with the variery of ramens. The only downside is the parking and location. I hope they move to an area with lots of parking so I can eat here more oftent.

This is our go to place whenever we crave for ramen. Been coming here as a family since last year. They have the best ramen in Hamilton. Parking may be quite difficult, we usually park at the back (paid parking) but it does not matter. The servers are very kind and welcoming too!

Lovely and friendly staff! Great service and great food. Never have I walked out that door unsatisfied or ready ready to go into a food coma! Just be sure to go before the dinner rush, the seats fill up fast!

Good, albeit slow, service, a nice atmosphere, and an okay menu. The main problem is the amount of toppings you get. Its barely anything. A couple thin pieces of meat, a single narutomaki, and some menma, all for a $16 bowl of ramen. Youll get probably about 10 times more meat and the same amount of noodles for $4 less at any Chinese restaurant.

Ive been here plenty of times with friends and its usually great, but the one time I come here with my colored friend, the lady made us pay before we get our food and was rushing us. Absolutely never returning here. Disgusting behavior.

I ordered a vegetarian version. Still tasty. The broth is just right. Noodles are soft, elastic and fresh.

The food meets expectations and the price were acceptable. But wait.. Obviously the exterior is well.. Downtown Hamilton, However I will say the store was excellent Over all 4 Stars

The food is good, but the reason I ordered extra $2.50 noodles and $4 worth of meat and why I cant even get a little more broth. What is the issue? Never try this place again What a STINGY place not even 50ml extra broth ???

Just love this place. The meal is so wholesome. We ordered veg miso ramen, hot sake, cheesecake and match ice cream. Everything tasted excellent. The service was exceptional and the place is really clean and tidy.

If you are looking for a place where you get treated with no care and a place so small you hear everyone s conversations while you eat, I ve got the place for you!!! I got extremely sick at the restaurant soon after finishing the meal, my body felt extremely hot and my face went red and flushed, went to the bathroom to puke and didn t have strength to walk out for about 15 minutes. Once I came out the worker did not even ask if I was okay, when I clearly looked ill, just proceeded to pushingly ask if I needed the machine so I could pay, will never be returning. I get it looks bad on the restaurant if someone gets sick, so making me leave is a priority but gosh that was horrible, at least ask if I m okay. It was clearly their food.

I find their ramen to be rather bland. If you like noodles and bland soup then this place is your dream spot.

The food was delicious. The staff were a little difficult to understand but were very respectful when dealing with us and were very attentive to our needs. The music choice was unusual for a Japanese ramen joint, but I will be coming back to this place constantly for the delicious ramen and appetizers I had with my colleagues.

When I tell you guys that this is the best ramen place in Hamilton. I mean it 100%. The ramen is solid. But the gems are the sides and apps. The katsudon and karaage is my go to every time and it hits. Every. Single. Time. Do yourself a favor and check it out

Kenzo has the best ramen in Hamilton hands down! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the customer service is out of this world. I had the takoyaki (which was impossibly delicious) and the tonkatsu miso ramen (which was an 11/10). If youre craving ramen, look no further than Kenzo!

Similar to one of the recent reviews, the older worker was was quite rude. We spoke to our regular waitress who was a young girl and asked to substitute one of the ingredients (meat) due to a dietary need (feel sick eating meat). Note that I have been coming to this same kenzo for 5 YEARS - and always get this substitution so not new. She kindly said she ll ask her manager who came back and told us yes she can put tofu. Got the ramen and it had meat and tofu - not what I asked. I didn t want to be charged extra for the tofu so I called the waitress to clarify/ask. Immediately, she fought with me on this and said they don t do substitutes and argued I said add tofu not instead . I fully understand miscommunications occur and would ve been ok if dealt kindly but the tone and response was plain rude. She acknowledged the miscommunication, while arguing so could ve at least accommodated by not charging an extra $3 for 5 tiny pieces of tofu and wasted meat - I had to throw the meat out my bowl since I cannot digest it. Still giving 2 stars because I ve been here for years and the food is good although quality of ingredients and service declined.

Great little ramen place in the heart of Hamilton. Very quick service. I had my noodle soup within less than five minutes.

Ordered takoyaki, tonkotsu and shoyu ramen. Tonkotsu and shoyu were both as expected even though the shoyu seemed like it came with way less broth than it usually does. The real issue was the takoyaki which came out after the ramen and was lukewarm at best. It was cold within seconds. Definitely not a way to enjoy a hot meal out on a cold night. Was a quite underwhelming meal overall.

Fantastic service and tons of options. I love that they have a mix of ramen and other traditional Japanese side dishes as well. The King of King ramen was very solid but needed a smidge more flavor in the broth. The flavor was definitely hot/spicy but needed some additional flavor to make it a perfect ramen. I was really impressed with the ramen overall. Its so close to amazing. Keep up the amazing work. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs so you should be able to get in just fine

Their Netsu ramen is the BEST vegetarian ramen I have ever had, and I have tried various one across the globe. Add fresh soft tofu to it for that extra protein.

Best vegetarian ramen in Hamilton. Its as simple as that. Ive had all of the Sapporo Miso Ramen, the Jisu Ramen, and the Vegetarian Creamy Ramen in recent months and literally the only problem I can think of with any of them, is that now Ill have a difficult time deciding what to get next time I come here.

I love kenzo, but today was disappointing. ordered onigri, and the tuna had almost no filling! The chicken had a bit not still lacked. Usually the tuna onigiri is filled nice,it also took forever to make and get here.. Still delicious though

Walked by this place a bunch of times before having the time to go with friends. The selection was pretty great, and we decided to order a bunch to share. Everything was fantastic and decently priced. Tonkatsu Ramen was great and would order again, but I feel Ill need to order a different thing every time because there is a good selection! A perfect meal for a rainy chill day. I will be back again soon.

Been to a couple of different Kenzo locations but this one has the best and most hospitable staff!

One star off because no Naruto style Ichi-Raku Ramen! Otherwise, completely recommend it... Excellent dishes... Beautiful staffs...

Really amazing ramen! They should be proud. Had the gyoza app: a little on the oily side for me but delicious. Black tonkatsu: incredible. Noodles were perfect. Great feeling in the mouth. Well balanced flavors. Must try! Recommended dishes

Came here for lunch before a concert. Was super busy but we were still seated and served quickly. Tantanmen was sooo good! I will go if I ever come to Hamilton again

we asked too many questions on what to order and the staff explained them one by one in detail, great customer service. our favourite is takoyaki. gyudon was also delicious.

Lots of food, portions are very large. If your server warns you about how much food you are ordering please listen. However the food is so tasty and fresh that it is hard to put your chopsticks down. The broths are so rich, the noodles are wonderfully fresh and the meat is tasty and tender. It is definitely worth the mid-range price and I highly recommend based on food alone. But it is also very clean and welcoming with fast friendly service so there really were no downsides that I saw Parking: There is only public parking as it is right downtown

Standard ramen spot. I got the Black Tonkotsu Ramen and really enjoyed it. The second spice level for it, was quite spicy from the dried chilli flakes. The gyoza were good, but the chicken karaage is not the best. The dough wasnt light like other karaage.

The wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. It was our first time at this location but it wont be our last. The food was delicious and plentiful. A great experience. Vegetarian options: There are numerous vegetarian options. Many of the meat recipes can be ordered vegetarian. Parking: We had to walk a few blocks from parking at King William & John St. If youre disabled it can be difficult.

This restaurant is over priced , and don t exempt Raman got loaded after you paid over 20 for it. Just some little bit of chicken. The flavour is just ok. Will not recommend

Average ramen. Like the spicy miso chashu ramen, but for the other regular miso ramen was too salty. And when I asked for add one egg they only give half of the egg. Not a pleasant experience

Amazing ramen, not many places can compete. A little pricey, but very nice on a cold day. Its kind of difficult to find parking.

We had the craving for ramen and this definitely scratched the itch. This is currently one of the better spots for ramen in town. The takoyaki was great too!(Those went fast and never made it to the photos.) Give it a try and enjoy!

Best place to grab ramen in the city. Just off King near Jackson Square so its always close by. An institution for young hungry folk in downtown Hamilton.

I was so excited for it as I love katsudon but the pork was drenched in soy sauce and I couldn t taste any of the dish. The rice balls were falling apart and only had an inch of seaweed instead of being wrapped all the way around. The goyza was the only decent thing but so is everywhere else

The ramen is tasty and the portions are quite big. Very attentive service. On cold days and if you need a good soup, i would recommend them

Our fave ramen shop been coming here over and over again. Our fave is the tsuke men dipping ramen but what we noticed recently is the quality of the dipping sauce varies from time to time. , still our fave though Parking: Parking is a bit tricky as it is situated in Downtown which we all expect that parking is hard. We usually park at the paid parking lot next block at the back. If you re lucky you can street park for an at King William st. Kid-friendliness: We dine here as Family so far our experience is always great.

Really good food , high quality for the price, the tokotsu shoyu ramen is a must to try and the porc tonkatsu is deliciously crispy, thinly sliced for easy bites and come with sides. Nice decor and music not too loud.

ordered a uber eats Tonkatsu. this was the most flavourless ramen ive ever had - fresh or instant . the chashu was overcooked and tough :( im at a loss as to how this place has such a high rating. like it wasnt salty or rich- basically water. i see from other reviews they put less ingredients in my dish, penalizing people who order take out. what a disappointment

I loved everything about this place. The food was delicious, the wait staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the atmosphere was cozy and it was overall am enjoyable experience. I was also pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options available. I would definitely visit again and most certainly recommend it to others.

Super affordable and tasty ramen joint in a great location. Service is great and really fast, but you can tell the food isnt rushed - its perfectly cooked, and in a solid portion size.

My friend introduced me to Japanese ramen Loved it. Service was fast and good.

Ordered takeout, been hearing glowing reviews for years but never tried it. We got the black garlic tonkastsu, it came warm enough, but it only had very 3 small slices of meat and little else other than noodles and bokchoy (also, the eggs are only half eggs, not a whole egg, so keep that in mind when considering ordering extra ingredients). At the pre-tax price of 22$ (after eggs and extra noodle), while tasting great, it really wasnt worth it compared to even making it at home. Chewy noodles, so not my favourite, but that is a preference. Presentation was good? But also, food poisoning the next morning and we dont eat many meals other than our normal routine sooooo... take that as you will.

I ordered king of kings ramen add fish cake and takoyaki today. Taste sooo good i very like a takoyaki and also king of kings ramen that a large portion. I cannot eat all in once so i have to separate for next meal. In my opinion this Kenzo ramen is the best in Hamilton. Lets try if you interested.

Ordered the spicy chashu ramen. Perfect flavor. Generous portions. Well packaged (got it via Uber eats). Made for a very satisfying meal. The karaage chicken was delicious too.

Service was great. Noodles were good. The half ramen egg we had to pay extra for was disappointing. It says egg, not half an egg on the menu.

Phenomenal! Just one word is all you need. Got the Tonkotsu King and wow was it good! Fantastic broth and the Ramen noodles were just incredible!

Japanese flavors are one of my favorites! I love the karaage mango sauce, it seemed weird but oh boy super complimented to the chicken! Onigiri is always fresh!

Could have let us know that you ll be with us shortly instead of letting us standing with the delivery people Table was wet when we sat down, smelt like detergent. No one checked on us after getting the food. The music was great, great vibes. Food was really good just expected more chicken in the ramen. Overall would visit again

They have good options for ramen. But if you want to choose to eat chicken based ramen they only got limited ramen for that. Ambiance was alright and overall experience was good.

Over the weekend we tried Kenzo Ramen in Oakville and we were very impressed really good onigiri, curry, & ramen! Since we live in Hamilton, we decided to give the (better rated) Kenzo Ramen here a try and, unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The ramen was fine not quite the same caliber as the Kenzo in Oakville however the onigiri was a huge disappointment. The meat fillings were so small they were almost unnoticeable; we were basically eating just rice. For $5.50/onigiri we expected to be given, at least, a normal filling portion? I would advise against ordering onigiri here and, if you don t mind the drive, going to the Oakville location instead!

This was my first time trying ramen and I absolutely love this place. Great taste and generous portions of food. The food is so fresh and comforting. The staff is so professional and courteous! Will definitely come back again :) Thank you!!

A portion of my order was missing. Only got the soup base without the noodles/meat. I appreciate the store credit compensation but how am I gonna eat my ramen with only the soup?

Cute hidden gem in downtown Hamilton. I heard of this place through a couple of friends and was in town so I stopped by for lunch for the first time. I got the tonkatzu shoyu ramen! Every element was delicious and portion is huge. Fresh and tasty. It wasnt busy and I got good service. They only played one song on repeat the whole time I was there which got old fast..but I dont really care. Cant wait to come back and try more ramen and some of the appetizers too!

I couldnt decide what I wanted so I ordered all the starters a king shoyu ramen and tonkotsu teishoku and let me tell you everything was amazing it just kept getting better and better 1000/10

Excellent service, very nice, I love this place

Saw the older worker yelling at servers because they were talking to the customers for a few minutes, plus it wasn t even that busy. The servers are all nice but this lady has no customer service and no right to yell at her employees. Yelling at your employees for talking to customers and not to look after the table is a big no-no for a restaurant and any business. The food was good but it seems like a toxic place for the servers.
