Bardō Locke St. Hamilton in Hamilton

I arrived early for our reservation at 5 and was seated waiting for my friends to follow. Waitress was great and tended to my needs while I waited. We had requested a longer stay period when we reserved it 2 months prior. We had our meals and began sharing out our gifts to on another. Enjoy ourselves, creating Christmas memories. People around seemed to be ok with our silliness. We were very respectful but we were having fun. Suddenly out of nowhere this lady shows almost angry and suggested that we get things cleared up and gave us 15 minutes to clear out. Our friend still had a glass of wine she was enjoying, we she only received because bartender was a little slow at getting it. It was 7:15 or close to that time. After enjoying a great meal and having a great time that was so rudely interrupted by this so called shift manager. We spoke to her and of course she denied that she was rushing us out???? I felt like I was being was being scolded like a child. After a great night, this women was very rude and condescending and just left us all with a bad taste in our mouth. Just to be clear our waitress was amazing and the food great but we wont be coming back to be rushed out. It Christmas time and we wanted to enjoy our time not there to wolf down our food and get out as the restaurant seems to want. They had so many rules that I couldnt keep up. Exception is a rule for customer service. Pick your battles ...you picked the wrong group to scold! We are not 12 and your cookie as a piece offering didnt make it any better.

Food is delicious, yet excessively salty

We went to Bardo for our Girls Christmas Party, we had recently eaten there with a larger group and enjoyed it a lot,& decided to book our xmas party there, initially were going to book a table for a Friday night, but were informed that on Friday nights ,our time would be limited to 1 hour, and it was suggested that we book another evening if we wanted unlimited time, so we booked for tonight Thursday December 19, 2024 - 5:00pm, all was well, food as usual was great we were having a great time until the manager came over at 7:00pm and said that she had the table booked for someone in 15mins, if we could start to wrap it up! To say we were shocked, would be an understatement, that put a quick damper on our Christmas party, we werent even through our gift giving yet, hadnt ordered our coffee, one person in our party still had a glass of wine , so I guess it is the practice of this establishment to send someone home driving after they have chugged their glass of wine down. Of course , one of us, made our displeasure known (politely) and the story changed but the damage had been done.....the party was over , at least for us! WE WILL NOT GO BACK , DOESNT MATTER HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS. THAT WAS OUT OF LINE, WE FOLLOWED THE PROTOCOL FOR DINING ON AN OFF NIGHT and were basically asked to leave. I certainly hope no one ever gets into an accident after having to chugged their alcoholic beverage, like one of my party was. BARDO IS DEFINETLY OFF OUR LIST OF PLACES TO DINE!

Everything on the menu is excellent

I used to love this place and I went to both this location and the James street one a lot. But recently I noticed a change in food quality. One notable thing was I remembered was I ordered delivery and my food was given to me open, like the takeout container itself was open but the bag they put it on had the sticker keeping it closed so I knew it wasn t the driver, but it was relatively burnt as well. I had this happen twice (I didn t want to write them off based off 1 mistake) Overall, I ll likely be spending less time here but I do hope it bounces back since it has so much promise and reputation.

This restaurant has a lively neighborhood eatery feel. Its a bit noisy for my liking. They make up for this with very good service and food. The fresh breads and baked goods are tasty.

Such a great spot on Locke! My mum and I shared the Bee Sting pizza (so tasty) and quinoa salad (fresh & flavorful) for lunch, along with a couple cozy teas (also excellent). Service was perfection and added to the enjoyment of our meal (thanks, Levi!) Lovely spot that is super consistent.

Came here 6 years ago in university and loved it. Went back with my fiance and it was just as good as I remembered it, even though it has changed name and some menu items. Amazing!

I regret to say that my recent experience at Bardo on Locke Street was profoundly disappointing. Our reservation was made a week in advance for a party of five to celebrate a birthday, an occasion we anticipated would be marked by a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Unfortunately, Bardo failed to deliver even the basic expectation of comfort. And no mention of the birthday either. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated at a table designed for four, awkwardly squeezed into the restaurants busiest and most chaotic area--right beside the cashier and bar. This high-traffic zone turned our evening into an exercise in patience. My feet were stepped on multiple times, and my chair was repeatedly bumped as staff and patrons navigated the cramped space. The seating arrangement was so poorly planned that my wife and her mother had to alternate eating their meals, as they were physically unable to sit comfortably without colliding. This was not a matter of service missteps that could be remedied with charm or effort; the issue was fundamental and entirely avoidable had there been proper attention to reservations and spatial planning. Such an uncomfortable setup is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that presumably prides itself on offering a pleasant dining experience. I cannot recommend Bardo and will not return.

After taking our daughter on a university tour of Mac, we went to Bardo s on Locke for lunch. From the calamari, to the mac and cheese, to the duck confit pizza to my personal favorite, the turkey and Brie sandwich, everything was unbelievable! The service was excellent as well. We will be coming back again and again.

i went here with my sister and my mother and we absolutely loved it we got the breed platter the charcuterie and 1 pizza but 1 half was cheese and the other pepperoni everything was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals ive had eating out in a long time the only complaint i have was it was noisy in there it was packed and it was hard to hear each other at the table

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from the Bardo catering menu for St. Joseph s Hospital for our department, and I cant say enough good things about the experience! We pre-ordered for 25 people, and from the moment I called, the staff were incredibly helpful. The person who answered the phone was friendly and knowledgeable, the supervisor making the ordering process smooth and easy by email. supervisor Siobhan was fantastic in helping to organize everything, and the delivery driver, Cam, was just as kind. The food itself was delicious! The organization of the packaging was impressive, with each item clearly labeled with the staff name on it and what they ordered. The sandwiches were generous in size, the soup was served hot, and each meal came with a cookie, an apple and utensils. They truly didn t miss a thing! I also appreciated how well they accommodated dietary restrictions. Everything was documented and taken care of without any issues. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, and I cant recommend them enough! Thank you again for all your help and the delicious food. We ll definitely be ordering again! My family and I are trying out different restaurants in Hamilton. This is by far my favourite out of them all. Family friendly, nice airy aesthetic and food was delicious. I particularly like the arugula salad and their truffle parm fries/loaded fries are the best out of all the ones Ive tried so far. My kids loved the pizza!

It s edible. Foods not the worst but quite frankly not worth the price. ~$40 for a large that feeds 2 people. Service isn t bad, but just a little slow considering how many people were there (about 33% capacity) they were a little lacking on the check ups. Atmosphere is nothing, no music, no theme. Really just feels like an empty room w chairs and tables. Duck confit pizza was extremely sweet. Meat mountain was probably the best they had. The margarita pizza was a little on the cold end and the cheese wasn t melted well as a result. Apple bacon was a strange combo but not something I d recommend.

Our go to is the Locke St location but both spots are excellent. Consistent items with a mix of seasonal items on the menu, well executed by the kitchen, great selection of drinks(hot, cold, alcoholic and non alcoholic options) and amazing, friendly service!

The prices continue to go up and the quality continues to go down, the last few times I have ordered pizzas from here, the crust has nearly accounted for a third of the pizza and the toppings were sparse. I ve been coming to this location since it opened, and it used to be one of my favourite restaurants, but it s not worth it anymore.

One of my favorite restaurants ever. My wife and I drive to Hamilton to hike and we always go to Bardo afterwards. Weve had pretty much the entire menu!

$17 plus tax for dips with bread, except the portions were as small as a ketchup packet. These prices do not match the quantity received. Hardly enough dip for a piece of bread

I loved pizza MVP $1 of every pizza sold goes to the employee of the month! It changes everyday.. I had the pizza with sausage and cheese .. it was delicious. The crust was amazing delicious to have on its own. Waiter was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The other guests had ceaser salad w/ salmon , and on had an other gourmet pizza. All was delicious.

Havent been here in years, glad to see its still great. The service was fantastic, and most of the food is really good. A couple dishes were a bit of a miss, but nothing egregious. Overall still a great place for a casual dinner, even if just slightly overpriced.

Fabulous... 6*. We are seniors on a budget and we ordered the Avocado Chicken Sandwich ($22) and got Quinoa Chickpea salad for just $3 more. The waiter had the sandwich and salad split onto two plates and the serving size was perfect. See photo. With water to go with it, we had a great lunch - and got excellent value for our money. It was very noisy inside (even at 2 pm) so we sat outside on the patio with only occasional car noise. Highly recommended (our 2nd time there).

I love the newly updated atmosphere and menu! Their menus has always been top notch but I always love seeing what seasonal items they come up with as well as the cocktails!

Outstanding quality! The Aruga and Fennel salad was topped with the most tender Flank Steak, and the dressing soft and perfect! Biratta salad traditionally served and was very genuine! Thanks for a delightful light meal! Top marks all round!

A friend recommended this place and my wife, our 11 month old, and I came to try it out. The restaurant was incredibly clean. It looked newly renovated, and the entire vibe of the restaurant was relaxing and casual. The decor and interior design was beautiful. When we arrived, we were immediately offered a high chair for our baby. Some restaurants dont have them, so it was nice to see. They had a kids menu, which we couldnt order from since our little one wasnt eating adult food yet, but they do have one! They also had a changing table in one of the bathrooms. I ordered the all-you-can-enjoy and my wife ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and half special, my wife enjoyed her pizza, I didnt get a chance to try any of hers. The ayca menu was absolutely incredible. My wife saw the items on that menu and decided not to try it, since the menu items were more intricate and she is not one to try new foods. But everything from the appetisers all the way to the dessert was a banger. The intricacies that my wife avoided was heaven for me. Ingredients were elevated, unique, and delicious. If youre remotely interested in trying new things I would choose this option. I ordered at least one of everything on their ayce menu. The steak was my favourite, next the fois gras parfait (may not be for everyone), and both desserts the cheesecake and profiterole. But I cant stress enough how good everything else was. I was told that the menu is only seasonal, and that they switch things around ever few months. I will try the new menu when it rolls around. Paul was my server, and he was incredibly kind and helpful. We never ran out of water, and took the time to ask for our feedback. Drinks took a hot second, but the sangria was great when it arrived. The rest of the staff were also nice and kind, even interacting with other baby. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood. I did feel like they were understaffed. Poor Paul was running around like crazy, but even with that, the service was on point. We have only been here once, but on the random Wednesday we went the food was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes more elevated food, or want to try something interesting and new. Kid-friendliness: Has a baby changing table in the bathroom, kids menu, and high chairs available.

The Kale Ceasar!!!

Came here for lunch the other week. The restaurant offers a dine in option and a take out/take away counter. The area is bright and clean and the staff are very friendly. I really enjoyed my pizza from here, will definitely be coming back to try more from the menu and explore their fridge full of craft beers!

Haven t been here in quite a while and I m really happy I got the chance to come back! Our server, Eva, was really helpful and attentive with really nice menu recommendations. The manager, Siobhan was equally fantastic and helpful. The eggplant pizza was so good! Don t even look at the rest of the menu. Thanks for a great lunch!!

Buddies and I decided to order around different places for pizza. This was the gourmet option. Bee Sting Pizza (7.2/10). Lots of interesting flavours together. Ours was a little cool by the time it arrived, so I feel its likely better fresh. A bit too much crust. Chili Oil jam was a nice touch. But, $40 for a large! Nope! Also the difference in prices between the small and large is $21 and $3 to add dip . Too much. We were gonna get the Vampire Slayer pizza, but the prices turned us off. Wasnt that great for the price.

Portion sizes and customer services were lacking.

We ordered a half and half pizza half was the BBQ chicken one (I forgot the name of it) and the other half was the apple bacon pizza. I preferred the BBQ chicken one over the apple bacon one. We also ordered a kale cesaer and calamari. Everything was so delicious, even the camomile tear was the best one Ive ever had! The service was spectacular on top of amazing food and the environment reminded me of trendy spots in Toronto which made me feel right at home. I enjoy the fact that they work with seasonal ingredients. Overall 5 stars

We had dinner at Bardo on a Sunday evening. Pizzas are either small or big but tasty. The wine was good. Knowing that you are eating organic food feels good, too. However, prices are on the higher side.

What happened? I m a frequent diner of bread bar and was never disappointed. Was told that Bardo would be the new name but food quality would remain the same. We always have the same arugula fennel salad and the meat mountain pizza. Was always substantial and amazing. What a shock when we ordered our regular today. The arugula salad was literally half the size it use to be and the arugula was mostly substituted with cheaper ingredients. And the pizza was scarce on the meat. Very scarce. I could count one of each meat ingredient per slice. The name mountain does not belong with this pizza. And the cheese was not existent. If I hadn t been sitting at the bar I would have taken pictures but I didn t want to embarrass the server who was amazing by the way. To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly. After years of dining at bread bar and ordering through Uber, this is yet another restaurant that will not get my business. Very sad.

So first time back since the Reno and rebrand, the food thankfully has not changed and is worth every penny. The vibe is even more trendy hipster, and the decor is a bit stark for my taste, but the food makes up for it and service was excellent. Dont judge by the look, just have faith in the food (especially loaded fries)

This place is like the old bread bar but better. We visited on a Wednesday at dinnertime for the All You Can Eat small plates offering. It was just fantastic. All the delicacies like bone marrow and foie gras were perfectly executed and sooo tasty. One waitress noticed at one point that our toddler was getting fussy so brought toys to the table to help her enjoy the experience - huge help. And, it always amazes me that their ingredients are trustworthy and the same local / organic quality that I strive to serve at home. Thank you Bardo Kid-friendliness: They got us a high chair, toys, and a make shift sippy cup. Plus gave us the table we preferred so we had space to ourselves. So appreciated!

I looked at the menu, which included the cost of each item, while placing an order worth $70 here. My server seemed quite concerned if I could afford it so she asked me if I was ok paying $70. The person after me was not afforded the same curtesy I noticed. I ll be sure to look like I can afford a $70 CAD bill next time I accidentally swing by. On a serious note, I do hope you treat all customers the same. They might want to frequently spend $70 frequently and tip you even if they don t look like a white lady who drives a Mercedes. PS: I ve to exclude the friendly bartender from this.

The ummami burger was hard and dry, no juice in the burger. Ordered pizza will change review if pizza is good. Pizza takeout, burger and loaded fries were dinein. Server was great and helpful, food terrible. Also said dont put mushrooms on my burger as mushrooms are fungus, guess what mushrooms were tbeir. Worst burger.

The reservation process is very frustrating. Made a reservation, but they didnt receive it. Im carrying a baby and was told 20 mins wait time, waited for 45 mins and called again and said another 15 minutes. They need to train the front of the house to take proper reservation. We made reservations before driving here for 30 minutes and experience this.

The waitress made us feel really rushed, she directly asked after eating lunch if we wanted to stick around and order some dessert or should she get the bill . I haven t even finished my coffee yet.

Their pizza was fantastic! Its quite busy usually so make sure to get a reservation.

Before the big bad eclipse, thought Id enjoy a good resto reco. Formerly of Bread Bar fame, the place was fully booked and I can see why. The entire menu looks delish; it was actually quite hard to choose. But I stuck to my policy: order something a place is known for. So, I ordered the Apple & Bacon Pizza. Damn. Was, that, a, good pizza. Ive been told by wise people that the dough is 80% of what makes a good pizza; Bardo has their pizza dough game on point. The staff were all professional and friendly, even in the world-event-level stressful lunch rush that was occurring. The server, Jess, answered all my annoying questions with grace and patience, despite busyness of lunch. As a first timer, she helped me with wonderful recommendations. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

I really like this place! Food is great and the vibe is also super cute however I find the place to be terribly laid out. Ive had lunch and dinner here, both times it was packed. The tables are packed in tight, its not particularly comfortable, especially when it gets busy which it always is. You would think given the popularity some adjustments would be made to location or even just the way the tables are laid out.

I ve been a faithful, satisfied guest here for years. Service, location, atmosphere are all great. But the most important component is the food and it s deadly! The Hammer s hidden gem for sure. They promise fresh, quality ingredients and they deliver. As for flavour? No problem here. Trust me, you ll go to sleep thinking about your next visit and what you re going to order. Their pizza dough is second to none. Sourdoughy, chewy, bubbly, and slightly charred. Damn!!! Make this restaurant destination a priority, and be kind to the wonderful staff

Ordered Salmon sandwich of which had a repulsive strong fishy odour & taste. Sent order back and had the manager explain that the fish marinates for days & was corrected to hours. The odour was so strong the person I was with could smell it sitting across from me. Looking forward to never coming back.

My server bumped into me five separate times while serving the table next to me. I m a small person so this really shouldn t be happening. Three of those times her butt was against me which made me really uncomfortable while trying to enjoy a meal. Food

We got the chance to try Bard pizza this weekend (formally Earth to Table: Bread Bar). The service was great, the pizza was ready on time and the server was very helpful and informative. We ordered the Meat Mountain and Sweet Cherry Pie pizzas. Both were cooked perfectly and had a great amount of toppings. The toppings were very fresh and high quality. The cheese was a good amount as was the sauce. The white sauce on the Sweet Cherry Pie was excellent, as was the red sauce, very flavourful. The crust was amazing, very nice texture, and taste. Crispy, yet fluffy and airy inside. The pizzas were on the pricy side, but more than willing to pay for a high quality pizza. Overall a great first experience at Bard , I will definitely be back. I would highly recommend you try Bard for your next pizza adventure or if you are in the area.

The perfect Sunday brunch. The food was delicious but we were far more impressed by the service. Luke was one of the best servers we have ever encountered and he as so kind to our kids. We will be back because of the care that was given to making our experience so incredible. Thank you Luke!

tasty!!! their pizza dough is incredible i did think it was weird that rather than a natural greeting, our hostess who brought us to the table just informed us that we had 90 minutes to eat before we had to leave. let me tell you, i was very conscious of watching the clock during my meal!

Good food great service

Brunch is amazing! We had been here once before for dinner so tried it for brunch. Wow. The breakfast sandwich was so delicious as was the Eggs Bridgey with hollandaise on their amazing bread. Have it with bacon and mushrooms, the mushrooms were some of the best I have ever tasted. Great coffee and super friendly service made this a great start to the weekend. Definitely recommend. The best service I have EVER received!!! My family went for lunch today and the waitress was the most pleasant lady I have ever had the pleasure to have. Thank you! We will definitely be back (sooner than later). Food was stunning!

Very good pizza. The bee sting is worth checking out. It was pretty cold after delivery (not their fault) but still excellent. The dips are excellent.

Good place to stop in and grab a bite- they do awesome pizza! Tried a falafel burger the last time I ate here, it was pretty good but didnt blow my mind. However their fries are fantastic, and their housemade strawberry lemonade is delicious! Will definitely be back to try something else :)

Food and service, for the most part was great. The Margherita pizza, I would suggest use a different/softer cheese. It felt a little grainy, like chewing Dominos slices. Thats my only complaint.

Service was a bit slow- took around 10+ min for the server to come to our table. Good environment, good food! Just a busy eve I guess . Would love more vegetarian pizza options!

Great atmosphere and great location. We ordered bred plate to share which comes with different types of bread and three dipping sauces. It was great but by the time we finished it we were too full. We also ordered a large pizza (which was extremely large for two people) but was great. The pizza was half Pesto chicken pizza was too salty (I would not recommend), and the other half cheese Louise which was delicious! The cheese Louise is not in the menu but you can ask for it if you re a cheese lover!

Walked in on Monday night with no reservation, and they said it was a 30 minute wait, which was fine. They took our number and said they would text when a table was available. After an hour, still no text. I assumed they were unexpectedly busy as they would have texted by then, and when we gave our number all the tables were taken by large families. I made a reservation on their website after waiting another 30 minutes. When we showed up we got a table, but the service was sooooooo slow for it being not too busy. Our drinks took 30 minutes (milkshake and vodka soda) and our main food took another 30 minutes. So we ate after an hour of being sat. Food was delicious but service was so slow.

Overall: 9 / 10 An excellent pizza from crust to toppings. The ingredients are clearly premium quality. Prices are very good value for the size and flavour of the orders. I would order the Bee Sting. Crust: 9 / 10 Its a great crust with soft bite, generally chewy textures, and a delicious edge that bubbles and chars perfectly. Its medium in thickness. Very good! Possibly would be crispier if fresh, as I ordered a slice that wasnt heated enough. The toppings here, specifically the mushrooms, are the best youll get. Unreal. Sauce: 9.5 / 10 The toppings and crust make the sauce hard to process, but its good. I would order extra sauce to make up for this. Its fresh and tasty. Cheese: 8.5 / 10 Very fresh and tasty, also high quality. The mozzarella could be a little more generous, because its really good, but they also have shredded cheese on many options and a variety of types. Lemon Ricotta is also a great option on the Bee Sting Toppings: 9 / 10 The toppings are the best quality in Hamilton. The mushroom is extremely flavourful. The meats are all excellent quality. You get lots of the good stuff and it is truly delicious! Best part of the pizza, if it werent for the amazing crust and sauce.

We have been going to Bread Bar for years! The Locke street location is really quaint and sweet. We got the truffle/mushroom risotto, and kale ceasar salad, both were amazing! Highly recommend!

You can feel and taste the earth on table. This is a hip place, and it offers tasty, wonderful options for vegetarians. We were seated by the windows as we were celebrating a birthday. As cozy as the setting is, the temperature is not set to a comfortable level. You know youre not the only one shivering when others have their jackets on. The service was great, however, even on a Sunday evening, it can get quite busy and you may need to wait much longer if youre asking for your bill.

the umami burg is a beauty choice. my bun wasnt fresh though. the pizzas are always great. has a cute patio outgrowth in the summer the servers are awesome! the agatto dessert was alot of fun to eat! Food : 4/5

One of my favourite restaurants in Hamilton. The Bread Plate is a must. Its so hard to choose something because everything on the menu is great. The umami burger was particularly great this trip and their pizza is all awesome. Vegetarian options: They have lots of options and are also very flexible.

My mother and I came in for lunch, sat in the front window on a nice sunny fall day. We enjoyed everything we had, SOTD was good, Cubano was amazing! And the BBQ pulled mushroom was also amazing. Very kind and accommodating FOH staff. Ticked all the boxes. Will be back.

Incredibly tasty and fresh ingredients, with a beautiful atmosphere. A rotating seasonal menu gives you more reasons to come back and try different delicious dishes. Obviously the pizza is incredible but I had a vegan Korean bowl and it was superb. There s something for everyone and the staff was super friendly, helpful and present. A little pricey but that s what you get for fresh farm to table ingredients. Would highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian and vegan options.

Love their pizza. Food is awesome. Staff and service are great. The only downside is how loud it is. They have no sound buffers, so when its busy, conversation is not easy.

Surprise, I did expect this place to be so good. We went as a group (15), so you have to take what we got with a grain of salt. Great place, I want to go back with a smaller group.

Ive been here a few times for pizza but had the roast chicken this time. Ridiculously delicious, fall off the bones soft, and spicy. Update: Burger was delicious. It was my birthday and the complimentary sticky toffee brownie with ice cream was amazing.

Great food. Atmosphere is nice. Tables are very close together. Get the Arugala/Fennell salad. You wont regret it.

Came in for lunch. Was told it was 10 minute wait and signed up for list. Waited inside and told I couldn t get empty 2 seat table as it was reversed. Witnessed hostess give two seat table to walk in couple after waiting inside and on list for 20 minutes. Reservation came in and was single person also seated at 2 seat low top. Walked out because I had been waiting and passed over for higher bill. Was told I d be at bar but was party of 5 who just got meals. Not cool. Democracy down the street was excellent

Our server Sarah L was truly amazing! Probably the best service I have ever received in a restaurant setting. Food was also great and you can tell it s fresh. I got a mocha to drink and it was delicious. We ordered the bread plate, kale cesar salad (highly recommend) and the mac & cheese. My only small complaint would be that although I reserved a table online, when we arrived it was not ready for us. We were asked to wait/come back and we had to wait outside. With having an infant and the weather being cold it was a bit of an inconvenience. We were also seated by the door (which was cold) but luckily my baby was asleep so I could have him covered.

Bee sting pizza is awesome

My first impression is when you walk in the atmosphere is nice and cozy. We ordered the Hulk Pizza (LG) It was delicious, the crust and the dough were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend any pizza that they have to offer. The menu is simple and makes you feel like you want to try everything. This is the spot!

Bland food, overpriced. Unsafe for food allergies. Every part of the meal was disappointing. The loaded fries had...cheese and sauce. Salad and grain bowl were basically the same, and even used the same dressing. Incredibly bland hummus and an underwhelming cheeseburger. Korean style tempeh was so bland that it went straight to the garbage bin. We confirmed twice on the phone that specific items on the menu would be celiac safe, and once again in person on arrival. 2/3 items were safe. The other one was not. Im usually pretty generous when it comes to restaurants but this was the *worst* meal Ive ever had in Hamilton. I dont understand the positive reviews at all. Maybe the in-person atmosphere (which does seem good) is a factor. Dietary restrictions: Warning: The restaurant uses a shared/single fryer for foods that are identified as gluten free via an icon on the menu. Our meal included gluten on a part of the order that had been specifically identified as for a celiac person (via multiple checks beforehand on the phone and later in person).

Came in for Lunch with my wife & Amber our server was truly amazing. The mocha s we ordered were delicious & so was the lunch which was a shared beet salad & the Apple with bacon pizza. This was both our first time at this location & we definitely can t wait to come back & try more items from the menu
