Gord was excellent made you feel very welcome and Scarlet was so friendly and helpful. Dinner was served on a hot plate and very delicious and presentation of the desert was artful. Thank you. Also the coffee was hot and very good.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner here on Sunday. We were a party of 11 and our Waiter was excellent. Everyone seemed to have ordered different food and all meals came out together. Another great meal here.

While staying at the Sheraton on business I ate in the restaurant several times and each time was a great experience. Super friendly staff and awesome food. Definitely recommend and cannot wait to go back👌 ****Edit So disappointed !!! I returned to Chagalis on a business trip and was told they changed the menu. All the great options were replaced. Big mistake !!! I tired eating their twice for dinner. Not impressed and for the price, will not return. I never understand when restaurants have something good they want to change it. Even the staff told me they were shocked their removed the popular items. I'm changing my review and not impressed.
Exceptional experience. My reservation for two changed and I still went and very glad that I did. I ordered their Gluten Free Flourless Chocolate Torte. Tortes for those who don't know are made with a higher ratio of eggs and butter and as such a much smaller portion is usually the way to go. As a chocolate lover this was a fantasy come true. The density/texture balanced between fudge and a brownie was superb. The depth of chocolate taste was deep and luxurious. The sugar content was a perfect nudge down allowing for the chocolate flavour to reign. The presentation was lovely and the berries were carefully selected for peak ripeness and taste. They contrasted beautifully with the torte. I ordered a single scoop of quality French vanilla icecream for $1.50 additional. This allowed for a palette cleanser effect of sorts in between bites. I savoured this experience. My server was pleasant and not overly "nice,' and this was welcome and refreshing. For a Tuesday at 5 this restaurant had only two patrons, which was fine by me. My bill came to $10.74 and left enough room for a healthy tip. The server told me that the menu will be changing in a couple of weeks. I pray that when I return in about 4 weeks that this glorious dessert will still be offered.
Went there for breakfast. The service was good and attentive but the food was absolutely dreadful. I had eggs Benedict with fries. The eggs were a little undercooked and the hollandaise was broken and thin. There was a ridiculous amount of paprika and dried parsley on it which ruined the dish. I would give 2 stars for the friendly service but I would give zero for the food.
We reserved a table for a big group few days before arrival , but the place was very disorganised, table wasnt ready. It took 30 min. to arrange table. We waited for the food more then hour, very slow waitress, slow service. Not recommended for a big group.

First time dining at Chagalls, great service and food, Sweet potato waffle fries could have been hotter, so fabulous waiter compt desert. He was a great server. Nailed my steak doneness right on. Our friends Cob salad and Jambalaya were also well recieved. Some of the decor could use some attention, overall a great pre- HPO dinner. Water with sliced cucumber was a refreshing touch.
Great spot for lunch. Cobb salad devine. Honestly enough for two!
Early morning meeting had time for some breakfast. Server was outstanding and very helpful. Coffee was good, food was delicious. I would definitely return. Thank you

My coworkers and I went there fo dinner.The food was delicious and the waitress was super nice.
I went there for lunch Dec 10, 2019 with a group. I ordered the California clubhouse panini for $14.00 and it was just awful. The turkey in the sandwich did not taste fresh and the sandwich was way too dry. (It should at least be served with gravy to dip it in). The fries that came with the meal were delicious and the Server was okay. I would not eat there again.

I have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant...by the server. Awful. And extortionate - asked for one muffin (tiny!!) and one boiled egg - got brought two of each, and charged $13. Had already had such a run-in with the incredibly rude server that I didnt even have the energy to complain.
Great selection of wine coupled with decent sized proportions. The food was very flavourful and the service responsive. If you are attending an event at the First Ontario building it is literally linked. I do suggest you make a reservation on event night as the restaurant attracts a crowd. The restroom is inconvenient in its location; as it is literally not in the restaurant but across for second floor elevators. So if you are solo, use in advance to entering the restaurant. Nice folks. Recommended.

My husband and I used to go there frequently . At one time they had an amazing buffet. We ve gone back a couple of times recently but weren t overly impressed . The service was good but food was just okay .
A few options for local craft beer and great food! I actually ordered the local IPA on tap and it was out, so my waitress brought another Ontario-made option in a can, just in case, rather than coming empty-handed. When she brought the bill, she explained that they didnt seem to have a price for it and she charged me half of what I would have expected to pay! Glad I chose to leave Honest Lawyer for this place instead. I had the turkey burger to eat and it was delicious, too!
Great view great food reasonably priced
Burnt, burnt Raw. This place was nice when it was open. Worst restaurant I have been to in years. Burger and chicken were burnt beyond recognition. Steak was ordered medium and cam out raw.
$30 bucks for steak and frites. 45 minutes later, it comes out burnt and cold. The manager didnt even come over. This is what a unionized restaurant looks like, folks.
Not sure about some of these reviews but our experience was great ... drinks were delicious, the flat bread was smothered in pears and brie and the fries were the best Ive had in ages. Awesome people and great food!
The food is extremely amazing, kids loved act like caesar, Thats using your noodles and2 PC chicken fingers and I enjoyed the blackened Louisina Salmon Fillet and my husband enjoyed chef plate that included steak and frites. The service is absolutely amazing with a great smile. That was a good way to celebrate our Christmas with our friends from Hamilton. I believe people who have rated this restaurant with few stars are just ungrateful. The CHOCOLATE MOLTEN CAKE is everyyyyyything
My daughter and I had a great meal at Chagalls and service with a smile yesterday. Our waitress was very friendly and provided helpful information to us as we had just arrived from Alberta. At the lounge today we had a terrific mojito, calamari, and some spectacular brushetta. We are grateful to have booked a room at the Sheraton and to have the convenience of the restaurant and lounge.
Friday... fish n chips. Perfectly done. Timely service. Friendly staff. They treated me well and Id come back anytime.
Power omelette was very tasty - it arrived slightly undercooked. Overall food was on the better side and service was on the lower side. Some of the waitstaff ignore customers.
Had supper and breakfast here. Both meals were flavorful and good potion size. Staff were friendly.

Dear Cook, why would you use cajun spice or whatever you put on eggs benedict? Dear Server, youre supposed to come back to the table and ask if everything is ok. I do not like waiting til I get my bill to ask for a second coffee.
The worst! This was an out of town visit staying at the Sheraton hotel. We decided to eat here instead of the other restaurants in the area. Big mistake! We made reservations for 6 pm (two hours before our show across the road) and even let the waitress know so If there was a long wait time, we could go somewhere else. When we inquired about the wait time and we were told we hope to get your food out to you as soon as we can . Waited for an hour and our appetizers (calamari) had yet to make an appearance. No communication from the waitress as to why it was taking so long. She didn t seem too interested in doing her job. Never heard from the restaurant manager and the Sheraton Hotel manager didn t do much to help. We left the restaurant to try to grab something from the food court in the mall which was basically our only option at this point with less than an hour to go, but by then most of the food was done and places were cleaning up. Thanks for making us wait around for over an hour with nothing to show for it.
The service was great but the breakfast was terrible. The spinach egg white omelette had almost a full cup of goats cheese in the middle. After the third fork full of nothing but warm goats cheese, I started to feel queasy. The other ingredients, egg and spinach, made up only about 10% of the omelette. Goats cheese is far too strong of a flavour to be the main ingredient. The coffee was cold and the toast was dry and brittle. Not to mention it took a really long time considering there was only one other table of 2 in the restaurant. I expected better for just under $30 for breakfast.
Not satisfied with the breakfast. Very ordinary at a high price. Coffee was cold.
Call Heidi fish and chips and the ticket time for very slow on the mill I can work on and Company one of the fish overclock ticket time alone too long
