Love this place. Amazing, fresh seafood, great flavours, super chill friendly atmosphere and awesome service. They also have treats for your dog. Currently one of my fave hangout spots in the city.

The food, the place, the staff, are all top shelf. If you are an oyster lover and are looking for a stop thats 100% worth it in the GTA, you will have no regrets going here.

A must try when youre in Hamilton. Their po boys are incredible. My husband has been craving some since New Orleans and these ones are just as good (and thats saying something indeed). Ramsen is the sweetest, most engaging owner. Youre the cherry on top of Locke St and it will remain that way as long as your blue truck exists on that street. Period.

I ve been working with the team at the Shuck Truck at Sasso Pizza Market and Bar here in Hamilton for 5 or 6 years now and we haven t looked back. The service and quality from the entire team is top notch and should be noted by the industry. We ve worked with other companies and many different types of oysters and since working with them, we have not ordered oysters from anywhere else. Even during the off season when the Sweet Love oysters aren t available, we ve made the tough decision not to offer oysters on our menu (which from what I know, we are the only ones on the mountain to serve fresh oysters). We stand by the product and their standards and won t serve anything less. If you re looking to put oysters on your menu or want a top quality product, get a hold of these guys because you won t find anything better around here.

If you re a restaurant in the city or GTA, shuck truck currently holds record for having the best oysters in my opinion, which is why we carry them in our restaurants. From the product, customer service, and scheduled delivery, they have always been an excellent purveyor, and go above and beyond what s expected as distributor. Looking forward to having a long lasting relationship with Raffi and Ramsen.

I had the one piece fish and chips. Beautiful flaky tongue-tender haddock, crisp outsides and soft insides of the fries made is a great texture sensation all around. Enjoyed the seasoning for the fish and the tartar sauce. Really delicious, really friendly. Great to be able to wander the street with a delicious meal in hand.

Had such an amazing experience today at The Shuck Truck. It was our first time shucking our own oysters and our second time trying them. We were taught how to shuck and learned some cool new things about oysters. The oysters and the sauces were delicious and we had a great learning experience as well! We can t wait to return. We went for a walk down Locke street after eating at a local restaurant. Saw the Shuck Truck for the first time, but they were closed for an hour. Got to talking to the owner who was still there. She was kind enough to reopen just for us and shucked a dozen oysters on the half shell. Very fresh, very tasty and very nice thank you so much! I d recommend taking the time to search this place out and enjoy a fresh plate of oysters. Parking: There is parking depending on the time of the day.

We had The Shuck Truck cater our house party. Cris was great, finding the perfect place to set up even in a packed space. The oysters themselves were absolutely phenomenal -- some of, if not the best weve ever had. The guests loved it and well definitely do this again.

We had an issue with our order on Christmas Eve, I reached out to the Shuck Truck team on Instagram. I got a response immediately. They were very apologetic, they said they wanted to make it right. They more than made up for the mistake by going way beyond anything we would have expected for New Years Eve. Oysters were beautifully shucked, and delicious. Thanks for making it right, I would highly recommend anyone to get fresh oysters from the Shuck Truck.

This place is AWESOME. Highly recommend the Shrimp Tacos, Anti-Shawarma wrap, Po Boy sandwiches and Fried With That. Haddock fish options are also really good too. Havent tried the oysters yet. Was honestly flabbergasted on the first bites of the tacos and anti-shawarma wrap in particular. Prices are also pretty good considering the sheer flavourfulness of the food. Hidden gem for sure.

It is a plan for the near future, as I do love the sound of your menu and all its offerings. I cant recommend this place enough. It is excruciatingly difficult to find fresh oysters, and a passion for service/transparency of the process. I really enjoyed the quality food and service. I would recommend this unique place to my family and friends. Dont overlook this Locke Street gem!

Vibes-Immaculate, Service-Amazing, Food-Breathtaking Everyone is so friendly but not overly in your face which is just perfect. The fish and shrimp tacos were the best tacos I ve ever had! Ordered them with my sister so we could try each and they split it on the plate so we got one of each The Fries With That is huge and worth every penny like shared it with another person and just barely managed to eat it all and it was delicious. But don t worry bc I had it another time and couldn t finish it, it reheats sooo well. And idk what hot sauce they had for the oysters but just thinking about it is making me drool. 10/10 cannot wait to go back again!!!

The Best Fish & Chips in all of Hamilton! Love the fast and friendly service. My kids love going there and enjoy the cute patio located at the back of the truck. The staff are super friendly and so phenomenal with my kids. We go there weekly to get our Seafood fix.

The best oysters in Hamilton hands down! Everything on the menu is bomb and always fresh- plus the service/crew are always awesome

So I had a rather extraordinary experience about a week ago. On my way to The Tempest performance at Dundurn Castle (which was awesome BTW) I decided to grab an Anti-Shawarma to take with me. I went light on the sauce and asked for a side of coleslaw *in* the wrap which tasted sooooo good! After the show, I walked home and passed by The Shuck Truck again - decided to pop my head in and let them know how killer their food had been and they were so lovely and kind and shared a dessert they are currently workshopping!! (No spoilers; but it was off the charts) How incredibly cool is that?! Just made my night. Definitely catch up with them on Locke Street if you get the chance, your tummy will be glad you did :)

I have been buying shrimp tacos from the Shuck Truck for years. I can honestly say, without reservation, that my experience with the food, service and atmosphere at the Shuck Truck has consistently been 10/10. THEY DO IT RIGHT EVERY TIME!!!

Its a cute little place with the kitchen in a truck and an open-air small sitting behind. Had the shrimp sandwich and it was awesome. Also enjoyed my short conversation with the lady of the truck. Would love to try their fish and oyster offerings on my next visit to Hamilton.

We had a pretty decent afternoon snack at this seafood based food truck, offering up sandwiches/tacos along with some other dishes at a fair price. We tried the antishawarma along with the special of the day which was a tuna carpaccio. The antishawarma had great flavours and textures, albeit being a bit small for the price. The tuna carpaccio was a bit of a miss for us - tuna was scarce and surprisingly didnt taste all that fresh considering it was the special. Service was excellent - the chef was super friendly and prepared the dishes nicely. Theres a small patio with some seating behind the truck, which made for a nice meal setting when I visited in August. Would definitely go back to try some other dishes but would maybe stick to some more classic options like tacos or poboys.

After driving to Dundas from Toronto to be turned away at their provincial Park because it was Fully booked, we checked into our Airbnb totally bummed and went for a walk. We stumbled upon this super cute pink truck and the Google reviews were amazing - saying they rival top seafood restaurants in Ontario! Well, they are not wrong. Not only was all the food insanely delicious (especially if youre into hot sauce, theirs is soooo delicious), the owner was also so kind and gave us a lot of hike and restaurant suggestions. His sister made the most mind blowing lime cheesecake that you have to get. We order oysters, anti-shawarma and fish tacos. You can sit there to eat as well, love the while vibe. Cant wait to come back!

Best fries and garlic sauce in Hamilton, brined shrimp is killer, and of course the Cascumpec Bay east coast oysters are absolute top shelf quality, served perfectly, and shucked perfectly every time. But what sets this business apart is the wonderful young man who we shall call the shucktender . A charming and upbeat dude with a super genuine attitude and vast aqua-cultural knowledge which he readily shares with anyone willing to lend an ear. Whether it s fish and chips, the insanely good anti-shawarma or their staple, oysters, I guarantee you that you ll leave the shuck truck satisfied, and craving it until you re next visit. My husband and I got the popcorn shrimp, shrimp po boys and freshly shucked oysters. Everything was seasoned well and delicious. Ramsen prepared our food and he is extremely knowledgeable about his craft! They source their oysters from PEI which are extremely fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend visiting their food truck and its a hidden gem in Hamilton.

I m an avid hot sauce enthusiast and had heard through the grapevine that the famed Hamiltonian hot sauce outfit Dawson s had done a collab sauce with the shuck truck specifically to compliment their cascumpec bay sourced oysters. I had been before for a wyii I do French fry fix on a Saturday afternoon but hadn t ventured into the seafood too much as I was slightly apprehensive. Man was I off. This is comparable with the top seafood Restaurants in Ontario that I ve frequented. We ordered the anti shawarma, a dozen oysters and the shrimp cocktail dish and everything was literal perfection. The dude running the truck is the nicest guy and walks you through each dish. It s just such a gem of a spot and I really implore everyone in Hamilton to check them out. Oh, and the Dawson s hot sauce is is PERFECT! Mango, mild/medium heat, perfect balance of spices. So good! And they sell it!! Nothing but good things to say I d give extra stars if I could.

I ve tried the Shuck Truck multiple times and the food and service are spot on every time! The chef does not miss. Quality anti-shawarma, quality shrimp or calamari po boys, you name it! Not to mention their oysters. Freshest oysters I ve ever ordered. Any fresher, and you d be shucking them right on the coast of PEI dressed in scuba gear. Great work fellas!!

My favourite food truck in town to be completely honest and best oysters in town! Raffi & Ramsen are great and always greet & make every clients experience a unique & memorable one. Their food is always fresh & tastes fantastic. They even do private shucking events if you need oysters for anything. I highly recommend this spot if your a seafood lover.

We live in the neighbourhood and cannot get enough of this place. The shrimp po boy, weekend bagel special, and anti-shawarma wrap are amazing and the oysters have become part of our NYE tradition.

Had two dozen shucked oysters with some friends here on the weekend. Service was excellent, and the presentation was perfect.

My husband and I are always on the hunt for new oyster spots and couldnt be happier to have a place on Locke to get our fix. Looking forward to a shucking course and picking up a large shuck your own order next month.

Had the most amazing oysters from shuck truck over the labour Day weekend! They had a pop up at Stoney ridge winery.. awesome idea and experience! The guy working the pop up was awesome! Kept his cool through a LOT of orders. It would probably be better for him or whoever else next time to have 2 people working the pop up instead of 1 as there was quite a long wait between orders after a while.. I look forward to having oysters again!

My family had such a wonderful experience here yesterday. The food was just SO good. Fresh, cooked to perfection. But, what was even more incredible was how good they were with our autistic four-year-old. We are so appreciative of that.

I ordered the go shuck yourself kit that I picked up yesterday (April 30). Was a little disappointed that for what you re paying you need to grate your own horseradish and they won t even supply any crushed ice for you. The hot sauce is unbelievably hot. My partner loves hot sauce and couldn t even handle this one. My major issue though is it s suppose to come with a dozen oysters... and I didn t even get a dozen. Which was very disappointing. The oysters were good and the knife it came with did the job. But was a little disappointed mainly for the fact that pay for dozen oysters and didn t even get them.

This is without a doubt the best spot in all of Ontario for oysters! Ramsen is passionate about what he does and it shows which makes all the difference in the world. Cant recommend this spot enough!! (The shrimp po boy is the bomb!)

Drove there from Oakville and wasnt disappointed. Very friendly service, educated me about oysters inc. how to properly shuck one. Food was great too. I got the big fish sandwich, po-boy and oysers. One type of oyster that did not look or smell especially fresh. The folks working seemed more interested in bro-ing out about their new toques than actually talking with guests about what they were about to eat. They seemed to lack any real understanding of oyster culture or genuine hospitality. I guess Ive been spoiled by the other mobile shucker in town.

The shuck truck always delivers with there oysters. Nothing like fresh oysters coming off a truck and slurping them down. There anti-shwarma wrap and Po boy sandwiches are incredible. No other food establishment has anything like it. Different taste that wont disappoint. Must try.
