I ordered the yellow curry with tofu & broccoli dish. It was just awful! I paid for extra sauce & paid for broccoli. It cost me $20 for this garbage I got served. I got mushy noodles with barely any sauce or flavour, two tiny pieces of broccoli & a bunch of carrots (I hate carrots), and the tofu was shriveled up & disgusting. Just awful. I can't believe they served this garbage & I can't believe I paid for it. And $3.00 for one spring roll that tasted like it was not fresh at all. They have no business making a curry dish. It was terrible! Will not order there again.
I loved my experience at thai express! The fried rice was delicious, perfectly balanced flavours and generous portions. The staff is friendly and efficient, I will come again.

I Had an amazing experience yesterday, Tom Yum soup from Thai Express is a flavorful delight! I had it delivered so am not sure how long it would have taken if I were there. I’ve read some 1 stars about the weight times and dry chicken. I did find the chicken was a bit dry and chewy. The other stuff was ok. Nothing outstanding or popped out that I would want to reorder. I would definitely say give a try at lease once and judge yourself.

Super yummy and spicy oh my!!! Haha I love spicy food so I thought it was awesome but oh my for medium spice it was way more then I would have expected, if you’re worried or cannot handle spice I would get no spice at all haha. I also like that they gave it to me in a bowl instead of the other take out containers as it’s easier to eat out of (even thought they never fill it lol). My small critique other then the spice level was that they did not give me a bag or something to carry the boiling hot bowl, they didn’t even double up on the bowl to protect my hands form the heat. I had to grab a handful of napkins to hold it because it quite literally would have burned my hand if I did not. Also, I know the pricing is probably set by the chain itself but $15 for Pad Thai without a side or even a drink included is quite expensive.
It is mall food and it has become a little pricy but the employees are nice and the food is tasty. The Tom
Ordered few times and every time the taste was wrong, either too salty or too sour.
i was hpoing to have my lunch here as i have a short break. i wanted to order something but no one wanted to take my order. i was the only one at the counter. Both staff looked at me and continued working on what they were doing. Guess business is good so they can pick and choose their customers.
The chicken was a chopped up chicken finger for $20. People were nice but the food was terrible Update They reached out to me regarding the meal I had and seemed to think I wanted money or a meal out of this. That s not the case as I would never go to another one of these locations in the mall again. The customer service from Anna at head office was embarrassing as a company to say the least
Quality of food far worst than when this place opened. The pad thai had so much sauce on it , making the whole dish rather mushy. Barely any chicken which was bland anyway, tiny piece of egg, no peanuts, no lime. What a rip off for $14

Portions are small and price is large. They also forgot to give food that was paid for. Will never buy from here again.
Garbage experience. $23 for a general Thai chicken with a dr pepper and spring roll.
Waited 16 min for a basic pad Thai that was not able to eat. Chicken was dry at best, no peanuts Littleraly noodles, bean sprouts, DRY chicken and sad as tofu. Save your money and just to to a real Thai place!
I ve been a loyal customer of six years. The food always taste good as it should since it s a chain. The employees working at the cash register, and the one handing me my food was quite distracted and was on their phone during work hours. Then they handed me a burning hot bowl that I can t even carry and I have to end up putting inside my shopping bags with my clothes, please figure out your packaging. Please ask your cashier to be more attentive. It isn t rocket science.
Recently got food poisoning from this place after getting the mango general chicken. They must not keep the area clean when serving customers. Absolutely disgusting.

Food was good, but I was the only person in line at this location and it took 20 minutes for them to make my order because delivery notifications took priority over the person standing directly in front of them. Update July 2023 - still extremely slow. No urgency to get orders fulfilled.

I Had an amazing experience yesterday. This Chinese restaurant is a gem. The food was superb, from the crispy spring rolls to the flavorful Pad Thai . The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was perfect. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. Food
Today, I first time went to a thai restaurant and i was little confused but the cashier there explained me everything and she was so kind and helpful. I got vegan pad thai and it was really so delicious. Food

I love Thai food and its nice to have a healthy option in the food court. Nice vegetarian options. This location has been here for a while; I went here more often when I worked as a foodcourt cleaner in 2005/2006. Vegetarian options: nice vegetarians options, Pad Thai etc Parking: Its in a mall, lots of parking space!
Loved their pad thai and sweet n sour chicken. Generous portions plus great service. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants quick and fast Thai food.

Food is fine. They misgender on purpose and laugh when corrected. Absolutely alienating, people definitely deserve to be treated better than that.
Mediocrity at its finest. Havent been here in a few years and I get its fast food, but the food was subpar. Theres an obvious change in ownership or management, and it really shows in the food. The portions now are very small compared to what they used to be. There was no care in the prep or cooking of the food. There was gristle in the chicken and the noodles were still hard. I had to let it sit in hopes the noodles would soften. Egg was nonexistent. Even the flavor didnt blend together well. I dont frequent the mall often, but when I did I would get the Pad Thai... thats not going to happen again. The worker and management change has ruined this location... My current 2 star rating is only because it hasnt made me sick, and it was somewhat edible... heres to hoping it stays down.
Ordered Pad Thai when visited the mall about 3 weeks ago. I love Pad Thai , but their version had nothing to do with this dish. For $ 15 all got served was noodles drowned in horrible sugary sauce, chicken was chewy and dry. Felt after like I ate some honey-barley noodle nightmare....never again !
I waited 25 minutes after ordering while they cooked Uber eats (they had no other customers waiting at the counter, and nobody ordered after me). When I finally asked how long my food would take the woman rudely told me another 10 or 15 minutes. I asked for a refund and was served promptly by another restaurant. Eat elsewhere. Thai Express doesnt want our business.
Would rather go ANY where else in the Mall. Cold spring roll and Pad Thai with 1 single piece of chicken that was disgusting.

I work at chatr in the mall so I go to this place often. There are many options in the food court but there is a reason why I only get food from this place and thats cuz its DELICIOUS. The portions are great for the price and even though Ive only tried no. 7 , 8 and 4 for now , they were all great. As for the customer service, the asian lady working at the counter is really sweet !!! and took the time to explain me what each options had. I believe shes the owner but not sure. I like trying different stuff all the time so I really ask a lot of stuff while ordering but shes always patient and polite so if ur reading this comment by any chance.... thanks a lot and I really appreciate you guys. Keep up the good work :) !!
Food is good but they use, old used gatorade bottles to keep their oil and soy sauce in which is really unappetizing especially during a pandemic.
We ordered through Doordash. $56 for stir fry noodles with 4 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of broccoli with a few sprouts. The rest of the listed ingredients were missing from the stir fry. The same with the chicken with rice noodle soup. Huge list of ingredients just nowhere to be found!? One piece of chocolate/banana cake which was 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2inches big for $7. And a Thai tea beverage. The food was extremely bland/overcooked and missing way too many ingredients to be appetizing. What a terrible experience! We will definitely not be returning! Should of stuck with Binh Minh on Upper James! These people clearly don t care about customer service or they would take into consideration the numerous other terrible reviews.

Mediocre food. I cannot describe it ... the chicken was tough and tasteless. The noodles were all chopped up and it supposed to have some veggies, 9 piece of onion... The fried rice was burned, it tasted like smoke. Save your money and get something else, literally anything is better than this place.
Will not return. 2 of the 3 employees kept removing their masks. While waiting for our food to be boxed by one of the employees, the other employee removed his mask and started scratching their faces and then proceeded to make food for another customer without washing their hands. It wasn t until We asked them to keep their masks on that it was worn again. Got a chicken pad Thai and a broccoli and beef pad. There were 2 pieces of chicken and very little tofu. What you see in the box of the broccoli and beef, was the only broccoli and beef in the whole meal. The quality is not good and it is overpriced for noodles with 2-3 pieces of meat.
The food at Thai Express was pretty tasty, the service was fast and efficient.

I find the thai soups very good for cold days or during winter months. They also have some great healthy options on the rest of the menu. A good fast food option
For mall food its pretty good, ingredients are fresh and wait time is reasonable. My only complaint is when I order extra spicy they give me medium at most, I guess they probably got too many complaints so they dial it down a few notches.
Food is freshly cooked in front of you but you need to wait.

Thai Express is the only reason I would ever go to the mall! But I have a family who also likes to go to the mall, so I use it as an excuse to eat Thai Express.

Tastes more like Chinese food. My noodle order came out burnt. Not comparable to actual Thai restaurants. I guess if you want a quick fix of Thai food its convenient.
Worse pad thai I have ever had. Tasteless. Extra skinny rice Noodles soaked in a watery sauce. Two bits of chicken. Dont waste your time in line or your money.
