Must try! Portions are large and generous without skimping on flavour!

The waitress gave us a mean look the minute we worked in, she seemed to be annoyed by our presence. We used to come here once every other week, but now the service is worse and worse, we feel actually unwelcome here just cause of her rudeness.

I am Vietnamese and had never tried Bamboo Duck Noodle Soup before. My first time trying it was at this restaurant and I have kept coming back. If you can handle spicy food, try adding some of their pepper pickle to your soup; you will not regret it.

We re a regular here, love the pho, great price and service. Lots of parking available. Fast service.

My other go to hidden gem for Pho. Very generous with the meat & truly, meat til the last spoonful. The Broth is fantastic. Service is matter of fact, but efficient. I come for the flavour.

The waiter lady was extremely rude and unprofessional, as soon as I came into the door asking for a seat she just pointed at the table with a mean look and walked away, no greeting or even a hi. As I sat down she did not offer to get me water, she quickly gave us the food and went into the back. When I tried to wave my hand to get her attention so I could ask for some water she ignored me and went into the back. However when there were other Vietnamese people she would greet them or speak with them. The pho was good but the rice and chicken was mediocre. I would not come back here again, just extremely unprofessional customer service.

The Pho I ordered was delicious but the lady seems happy only with people who spoke her language.

Delicious food! We have ordered from them numerous times and the quality has never changed. Great prices as well.

Waiter seemed frustrated. The beef noodles were good. Since they werent wearing masks kinda felt a little unsafe. Also the smell was overpowering. Overall, the experience was pretty nice.

Yummy authentic viet dishes. Comfort foods. The place looks run down a bit and smells like bamboo shoots. But the food is good. I love the Banh Cuon, congee (chao) and bun ca here. Service here is quick, the girl serving is kind of quiet, not talkative, but still made great suggestions

This special dish was highly recommended Duck vermicelli noodle soup (Bun mang vit). We also ordered Chicken congee (Chao Ga), porkchop with rice and a duck salad. All were quite appetizing as we can actually see the steam is still evaporating on every dish. Only a few restaurants serving food with the right temperature. And this restaurant does it very well.

Secret gem in Hamilton! Soups are clear and delicious! Mary the owner and her brother Ken are great people!

Great Place, Nice Food, Service Needs Some Improvement & The Attitude!

Food is absolutly incredible. Some of thr best traditional Vietnamese food youll get in the province. Service is kind of lacking. No offer for tea or water was you wait for an order. Take out orders take a long time. Lal worth it for the top notch food though

Dont be fooled by the location and Aesthetic of this restaurant. These places will give you legitimate Vietnamese moms cooking. Our favourites are 1. Rice rolls with pork meat and ham Banh cuon cha lua 2. Vermicelli with duck and bamboo in soup Bun mang vit 3. Vermicelli with fish cakes in soup Bun Cha Ca 4. Dry Vermicelli bowl with pork and spring roll Bun thit nuong cha gio 5. Rice with porkchop and fried egg Com Tam Suon Nuong Op La Bi Dont forget the infamous Cafe Sua Da to go with it! P.s I also should warn you the server can be cold if you dont speak Vietnamese and it is because of language barrier. Dont mind her! The food makes up for it!

I believe their spring rolls also had taro in it which was a special treat as not many places make it this way. They also make banh cuon which requires so much work that I find not many Vietnamese places still serve it as it is a labour of love. What a great gem and I wished I lived in Hamilton so I could eat there more often

Try to specialty Vietnamese food that you dont normally get. Duck and bamboo noodle is the go to. And banh cuon is made fresh to order.

Pho was flavourful, excellent chilli sauce and table condiments.

The bbq chicken on rice is great. The pho is very good.

The aroma of the pho broth from outside is what really pulled me in to try this place out. The decor is a little dated and the building wasnt in the best shape, but the food here was very good. The pho was seasoned nicely and had plenty of meat. Overall this place is great.

Not sure Id ever go back.... Nothing was particularly bad per say.... But very underwhelming, missing most items on the very small menu...service was deff lacking, food was meh..... I would Deff place this in the mehhhhh tier.

Food was very good, and service was prompt... but admittedly unfriendly. I will go back, just in the event that it was an off day for my server, but I wasnt impressed.

Extremely slow service. Waited over 40 minutes for food and patrons who arrived after me were served first. Did not even provide tea while making us wait. Mind you the restaurant was not even busy at the time. Pho should not take 40 minutes to serve.

Yummy & authentic Vietnamese food! I get the vermicelli here because its so good! Service is pretty standard, nothing over the top and very to the point. Cozy location for dine-in, but I always get take-out. Great bang for your buck! Parking: Shares a lot with the Food Basics, so theres always parking spots around

Really wonderful food here. I ve been going for years and they always knock it out of the park! This is NOT the place to expect intense, hyper vigilant or fancy service. I could understand why some people might find them curt but they re actually super friendly and if you let that be your expectation it s actually always a really lovely time in there. Great as takeout or eating in. They have some great Vegetarian options, too. This place is an absolute gem and I feel really lucky we have it in Hamilton!

Absolutely the best tendon (and beef ball) pho I have ever had! It was thick with melt-in-your-mouth beef tendon. First time here but will be a committed regular customer if food is always this good! Everything was very good with generous portions. Cant wait to come back and try their other dishes. This will likely be my top choice vietnamese restaurant in Hamilton. I wish you all the great food experience my friend and I enjoyed here.

Family run establishment. Great for takeout. Not a pho chain. Tasty and good value. Only had the standard pho, vermicelli, and spring rolls but still family favourites.

Food was wonderful. The prices on the Google menu are incorrect, so that was an unpleasant surprise when we picked up the order.

Well, not what Ive expected, a restaurant with vietnameses name and doesnt speak vietnamese. I was skeptical when the staff didnt reply in vietnamese when I spoke vietnamese to her, usually its not a good sign for food. Food tasted ok, not as good as I was expecting. Also the waitress has a chip on her shoulder or something, not friendly at all. 2.5 stars.

I am giving it a 3 star review only because the food is great but the experience was uncomfortable. It was an awkward time eating dinner with no music or anything with the cashier glaring at us. It bothered me as well that amenities were not offered to us but offered to other customers. Good food but going into the restaurant made it very unpleasant

I usually ordered the beef pho with rare beef and brisket or the house special. The portions are generous with lots of meat, noodles, and garnish.

I give this place a 9/10 for value, 7/10 for quality, and 3/10 for service. The only server was watching some korean soap opera loudly, and service was kind of slow. The soup is about 10 bucks for the large house special and comes with the most meat Ive ever seen in pho. They are really hitting the mark on value. Broth is nice. I was impressed with the fish soup too, gave that a try just to see. I didnt like it as much as the beef pho. I would recommend here for cheap eats after the bar or a lazy weeknight.

Great eats here! The decor and service are only ok. The woman whos served me each time Ive been there hasnt been too polite or attentive but the foods great and the price reasonable. Ill be back for sure! Try the deep fried tofu!

Great little spot for authentic vietnamese dishes with a clean environment. Super friendly staff and a nice listed menu with many options from Traditional Pho soups to fried fish options. I highly recommend the Pho beef soup with rare beef and beef balls (also add in tripe if feel9ng adventurous) which is super deliciousness and makes you feel like a king after! ** fresh spring rolls with shrimp a must** The waitress work just like in Vietnam comes by your table drops off menu pencil and paper then leaves, you simply look for what you want, mark the number on paper then wait. The shakes here are fantastic as well!

My first experience with Vietnamese food. Pho was delicious. Will go back again.

Cozy place and suitable to hang out with friends and family to have dinner. They have Pho and other kinds of Vietnamese dishes. I tried Bun Dac Biet and it s included grilled pork, soft noodle and spring roll. Fried wonton is also good, too. Service is fast and friendly. Pho is also a good option that you can try, they also have banh cuon.

Cosy little spot, good service and very fair prices. You can smell the deliciousness wafting from the place from a block away, their broth is on point!

Great pho with good portion size. They dont skimp on quality ingredients and the broth is up there compared to some of the best pho restaurants in the GTA. Ive also had the bun (vermicelli with grilled meat) and it too is delicious with generous portions. The only improvement I would recommend is if the bun were to be a little less oily, then it would be more refreshing. What a gem in Hamilton. Go try, you wont be disappointed

The waiter was one hand on her cell phone and one hand carry my food, really unprofessional, and because I speak Vietnamese so I know she not talking business but just talking with her friends. Food not even that great, the coffee it taste like instant coffee. Not recommended to come here

Nice Vietnamese kitchen

Excellent! First time here. Large portion, very fresh, was made to order. The woman who served me at the counter (I ordered take out) was very nice and gave me a huge smile saying thank you for coming. I only ordered an appetizer on my work break but was very interested in the soup and food platter a couple was eating in restaurant, it looked and smelt delicious, it was steaming hot and huge portions. I will definitely be back to dine in and try more menu items. Restaurant was very clean and well maintained.

I called to order two portions of banh cuon. When I came to pick it up, I asked the owner to adjust the portion of banh cuon. The landlady looked annoyed and dissatisfied. While waiting, I asked what the fish noodle dish tasted like because I had never eaten this dish. The owner answered while turning around and going into the kitchen. I was confused, but I also ordered this dish to eat while waiting. The banh cuon brought home was dry and hard, had to be sprinkled with water and put in the microwave but was washed to pieces. Well, we have to find another restaurant from the same country that knows how to serve customers better.

Great pho

Quick and efficient service offering authentic Vietnamese fare at a reasonable cost. Wish they offered more regional varieties of soup like bun rieu or hieu tu my tho but they do however have fresh banh cuon thats pretty friggin delicious.

It s really hard to give this place 3 stars because the food is amazing but the service the last 2 times has been really slow. It took nearly an hour for 2 pho and one portion of wonton. We also asked for water 3 times during the time here and never got it. I m not asking a 4th time. When the food arrives it is really one of the best pho in the area but the wait is far too long

Very nice and cozy Vietnamese restaurant. The beef noodles were very good. I was surprised by the low prices of the food. I moved here from Mississauga and noticed that the prices at this restaurant are about 15% less than in Mississauga. I will return.

Huge bowl of soup, fantastic

Absolutely atrocious service, server messed up our order and yelled at us for it. Soups tasted like they are loaded with msg. Only decent item was the Banh Coun (rice rolls) Unless a bowl of misery is what you want save yourself some heartache and go to Binh Minh instead.

Best Pho in Hamilton! I love their shredded pork skin rolls and usually go for the tendon and tripe soup topped with their habanero pickle.

Very authentic tasting Vietnamese food. Taste almost like how my mom makes it. The pho is the best Ive ever had from a Vietnamese restaurant. I always order their fish soup, broth and the fish cakes are delicious. Their banh cuon is very good too. I go here every time Im craving something my mom isnt making.
