Excellent service, all the menu items are fantastic and it s great to support a local family run business in the neighborhood. The P14 spicy soup might very well be the greatest food dish served in the city. Highly Recommended! Food

Knowing the good stuff while living in Northern Virginia for more than 10 years, and suffering from the lack of authentic Vietnamese food in Ann Arbor, MI, I m surprised to taste such yummy food in Hamilton.

TLDR: Good Food, Service, and Atmosphere. Would return if Im in the area. Went in for a Friday afternoon lunch date a few weeks ago. Restaraunt was quiet and mostly empty. We were served quickly by the owner. (Had a nice chat with him afterwards.) With the menu he brought us some hot tea, which was lovely. We ordered some spring rolls as an appetizer which came at the same time as our meal. I wouldve preferred they come before, but didnt specify that when we ordered. My girlfriend ordered some kind of Pho, which she enjoyed, and I some type of beef curry, which was delicious! Some points of excellence -Hot food. -The whole place was clean (A good metric of a kitchens cleanliness are the bathrooms, which were spotless.) -We were left to eat our lunch without being pestered by a waiter asking if we needed anything or how the food was. -Family friendly atmosphere

First time in 25 years have I had a horrible customer service experience. I had the Kathy special, which was too salty. After 2-3 bites (not halfway into the dish) in I realized the dish was not edible. I requested if the dish could be remade with less salt - the host came back and told me it s not salty. He said he cannot remake it with less salt. He insisted on changing up the dish. When it came time for the bill, he charged for both dishes instead of one. It would have been ok if he charged half for the dish instead of full price or even gave it to take home for someone else. HE GASLIGHTED ME saying the food was not salty and I ate more than half to justify charging me full price. Instead of compromising, he chose to blame me and label me as a trouble maker , saying I know people like you. In my opinion the experience felt racist and ageist. I will never step foot in there again. Be mindful if you re not South/East Asian.

This place is absolutely trash. I had a horrible experience here. The guy is racist and ageist. If you re south East Asian/ Indian/afghan, I do not recommend this place at all. If I could rate it in negatives I would.

By far our favourite pho restaurant in Hamilton. We tried quite a few and none reach this level. The staff is friendly and the decor is approachable, honest and comfortable. We recommend this place as often as we can. We often order the vegetarian pho, veggie bun cha, fresh papaya juice, and iced vietnamese coffee.

This restaurant is in my neighbourhood and I really enjoy the pho, but I find the appetizers leave something to be desired. The owner is very nice and service is always great, but if I didnt live close to here Im not sure this would be my first choice for pho.

Veggie pho is a bit rudimentary. Its basically just salty water with tofu and rice noodles. Id like to see a mushroom or other type of soup base. Spring rolls are good too. I thought the service was better than most pho restaurants, same with the atmosphere.

This is our go to restaurant for Vietnamese dishes! The best is the Pho soup with charbroiled pork, beef and chicken....its a must try!

Very delicious phó. The vermicelli dishes were amazing and everything was seasoned perfectly. The sugar cane shrimp was a crowd pleaser as were the fresh fruit juices. The mango speciality drink was also really good. Been multiple times and always a delicious meal with warm service.

We ordered the Chicken Pho, Deep fried pork rolls, vermicelli with spring roll, shrimp on a sugar cane and charbroiled pork, and chicken pad thai. The chicken in the pho was extremely dry and old. The broth was decent but not memorable. The pad thai was tasteless and the noodles and chicken were also dry. We ended up throwing it away. The pork spring rolls tasted like the oil they were fried in with a hint of pork. The vermicelli bowls only redeeming quality was the charbroiled pork, that was really good, I wish that there was less gristle.

Simple place, family-run?. Standard pho offerings, but good broths and well presented. Curry soup is interesting, though light on curry and seems no coconut milk Parking: Bit confusing to find, and maybe 8 spots, so wouldnt handle a crowd. On-street not to far.

BEST PHO IN THE WHOLE CITY This is a family establishment that I ve been going to for years. This is my source of comfort food. The beef broth is incomparable. I ve eaten at many other pho establishments, but I always come back to this one as they take so much pride in the food served. The food here is so healthy - when I get dishes they are not covered in oil and fat, they re well seasoned. The Jazz am radio station is often on which is such a comforting unobtrusive background choice. The family that runs this establishment is always so friendly and open to a conversation. I m so happy they ve survived the lockdowns. The beef broth is so good, sometimes I also get it in the vegetarian pho. Enjoy! Dietary restrictions: The vegetarian section is small but mighty. Parking: Parking around back. Easy to fit. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from the parking lot to the back door. Front entrance is down several steps. Inside of restaurant is one level.

The quality of food is go down after the pandemic, I used to go here weekly but since pandemic happen I stop so I just beck there last week with my parent, food take forever to come and 4 out of 4 dish the quality is go down hill very little amount of best per dish quality of food not like I was remembered. Also my dad try ask for take away bag and the cashier lady tell him he have to pay for that.... Pay for take away bag... Vegetarian options: There few vegan and vegetarian option as well due to my mom is vegan

Came here based on Google ratings but felt that I should comment so that others wouldnt feel ripped off / disappointed. Visiting from Mississauga where Pho restaurant competition is fierce whereby only the good survive. This restaurant wouldnt last a week. On a good note the Pho soup was decent according to son and his girlfriend. Other dishes looked nothing like the picture shown in menu, portions were small and food quality was questionable by taste and appearance. My pork chop had an odd taste. If youre a Pho newbie I guess this place will suffice but if youre a seasoned fan of Vietnamese food, look elsewhere. This review may seem harsh but hard earned money needs spending justification.

The food was ok. Overall a pretty forgettable experience. The charbroiled pork was decent but the rest was just average. If youre starved for Vietnamese food, this place will be fine. I wouldnt go out of my way for it.

The broth needs to be more flavourful and less salt. Pepper sauce did improve the taste.

Pho was fine. Nothing amazing. The coffee is made from the packaged mix - you wont find the full experience of having your coffee drip from the phin filter throughout your meal. Food : 3/5

We ordered house specialty pho, spicy beef noodle, and pork spring rolls(s). Everything is so good, especially the sweetness and savory in the soup, exactly what I m looking for. love this place.

The flavours of the soups are really delicious. For the house special, its got a hint of sweetness to it which adds an additional layer of umami. Noodles are firm and not soggy and gives the whole dish a nice texture to it.

We went there yesterday to have dinner... what a horrible experience we had! If you want to eat yummy and authentic vietnamese food, dont bother to stop by. The pho is the worst we ever had: the broth had no taste, the rare beef meat as well and was over cooked. My husband had a bun with bo la lop: there was one piece of bo la lop! We ordered a soda chan: it was just a sweet glass of water (no lemon taste and it was like the soda bottle was open since a few days). Discusting! Service was as bad as the food... They didnt even apologize for not having the dessert we ordered (which was a chance for us, I guess).

Location, tastes, cost, all good. Roasted chicken with rice is really good.

For a Vietnamese, this is an insult to our culture : foodwise and servicewise ! I ordered a Bun bo lá lôp. I had 1 tiny bò lá lôp in my Bún. What a Shame. But the worst thing is the sense of service from the guy (most probably owner ?!). He was sweeping the floor while serving (or Id say just putting the bowl on the table). He was just back to say the smoothie ordered was no longer available. Not even asking If I wanted something else... That was it ! The worst of the worst and the shame for our rich culture : care for our food and great sense of customer service.

Charbroiled meats with pho is amazing. I like their seafood pho too (i think it was tom yum soup base). Also their sugarcane shrimp is amazing! (Item B06)

A regular pho place. Staff are nice and friendly. The vibe could be better. Washrooms are clean. The lights in the restaurant was really dim. Kind of made the place depressing. The entrance door is near the closet that was a bit messy to look. Please use more lights and clean up the closet!

What a treat! Lovely independent family owned business. I personally loved the classic pho dac biet and an unexpected favourite was the chao viet (duck congee).

Ordered 3 dishes for takeaway and they were all SO GOOD! The pho was so tasty; we ordered the chicken pho and rare beef pho - both had so much flavour, big portions, and more than enough mung bean and basil on the side. We also had the vermicelli bun dish and it was the best I have had in the city. The flavours were fresh and bold, I couldnt get enough! 10/10 would recommend. Also the man behind the counter was extremely pleasant and friendly - will be back for sure!

We were feeling Pho and I quickly googled spots near me and this place popped up. The service was EXCEPTIONAL and the food ; specifically the shrimp and spring rolls were mouthwatering. Will definitely be returning.

I just moved to Hamilton. I love pho, and had my place in my previous home. A friend recommended this place it holds up! The pho broth is delicious, complex, and flavourful. My guest got the Pad Thai, which I tried, and it was also delicious. And Im not even a fan of Pad Thai! There are a lot of Vietnamese options in Hamilton, but this one is excellent. The server, who seemed like he might be an owner, was also exceptionally friendly.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The owner is friendly and the food is cooked in quality. I tried the traditional noodle soups and spring rolls. In addition they have Vietnamese coffee which I would say the best out of my experience. I order ice coffee with condensed milk. They coffee really tasted great with aroma and rich coffee. I will recommend.

Great service, well mannered gentleman, that greets customers properly, good music on the background, washrooms are impeccable, and the food is fabulous. Some restaurants changed the quality during Covid and treat you like they are doing a big favor, for staying open, they dont even look at you when you enter. I am so happy I found this gem, because the food is always great. The dishes are well prepared, quantity is more than sufficient and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

I love Ph and am always eager to try new restaurants. This place is such a little gem! The only problem is that it s a 5 minute walk from my house, meaning this is where all my money is going. The staff is so sweet, the food is PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend the cheese wontons, and the Spicy Beef Ph , (number P15 on the menu)!

From what I remember, they had good pho (2 yrs ago). A few months ago I had their vegetarian pho and it wasnt too bad. That said, when I was in last, their tofu was actually gag-inducing and inedible. Pad Thai tasted primarily of ketchup. The other guests seemed to like their food. Probably wont be back here because our last two visits were negative.

The food was incredible!!! The waiter was super friendly and served our food so so quick. Very quiet place so you don t have to talk over people. Prices are great - for example 2 large phos and a wonton soup is 28$. I would definitely recommend this incredible restaurant. Very impressed

Got the order from uber eats at 2PM Tuesday 18 Feb. The pork and chicken are both over grilled, ugly rolls, i can not get full with these little vermicelli. First time here. Disappointed!! Nothing but bitter

After reading the story in The Spectator on Saturday a friend and I decided to give it a try. We ordered fresh shrimp rolls, mango salad, chicken pad thai and rice and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and we would highly recommend to others. Cant wait to try some different dishes the next time.

Hidden gem with great taste. The spring rolls are delicious. Bbq pork pho is usually my go to here because it flavors the broth quite well. Love their chicken fried rice with added shrimp and beef. The staff are very friendly and welcoming as well.

My favourite restaurant to relax and have the best bowl of pho. Not only is the food amazing. The warmth and love from the owners really make it feel like you re eating at a family members home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The pho is great however the service was poor. After the food was delivered to our table no one came back to our table to see if we needed anything. I had to personally go to the counter 3 times, 1st time to get a refill of tea, 2nd time to get take out containers, 3rd time to get my bill. The restaurant was not busy so not sure why the service was lacking.

Very disappointed. Picked up food there after reading the review. The Pad Thai was tasteless, the wonton cheese were just ok and the spring roll were obviously overdue. I am not sure where these reviews are coming from.
