Been here so many times, hands down the best chip stand I've ever been to! Super friendly workers and amazing food! The portions are big and fairly priced.
I ordered 2 chicken burgers and a few other things. The menu advertised a chicken breast for the chicken burgers. This is so far from a chicken breast, it can't actually be food. It's foamy and dry and tastes awful. Neither of us could take more than 2 bites. Very disappointed to spend almost $70 and still be hungry. The menu is very misleading.
The service was good. Fast and all correct. Their poutine was really good. Plenty of cheese and gravy. Their classic burger however. It looked really good. The party was a nice size. I was impressed. Then I started to eat and it was so so so spicy. My boyfriend and I don't eat much spicy things and we both thought it was way to spicy for a burger. Or mouths were burning. So won't be getting burgers from there again
Ordered food for the family, service was very quick and friendly. Prices are fair, food was delicious!

The food was amazing!! Had the deep fried cheese curds which are unlike anything else, and the butter chicken poutine only had a little spice, but a little sweetness which was amazing….and of course they used cheese curds with that also!! The staff that work there were amazingly nice, professional, and very helpful!! They even delivered it to my vehicle for me!! I would highly recommend!!
On Victoria Day, when there were not many food options in Hanmer, we tried out the local recommended Munchies Food Truck - had Canadian Maple Burger and Thai Cauliflower Bites. The food was a breath of fresh air (surprising find). The staff also treated us to their Shaved Ice Flavours for free. Loved the service and food

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Love the food, the service is always on point, the fries are crispy making for a perfect poutine (the gravy is the best around). I m a huge RIV fan out in sturgeon and Munchies blows that out of the water for me. Twice this season I ve gotten more food than ordered (my pogo had a dough bubble so he made me a second one to make up for it - I like the dough bubbles lol! And then my bf and I ordered one samosa each, and he gave us four). Hands down the best chipstand I ve found in the area. Vegetarian options: Tons of veg options on the menu! I haven t tried them all but the samosas are vegetarian and so so good! I m confident the veggie burger would be a hit too.

Amazing philly cheese
We tried a few types of their poutines and they were excellent. The butter chicken poutine is quite good in particular! I enjoyed the samosas, too. Located in front of the welder/detailers building, next door to the dog groomer and soap shop, facing the ol highway.
First of all I need to really appreciate about the service that they put forward to the customers. When it comes to food there is no compromise for the quantity as well as the quality of the food they serve. The must try items that I would suggest is their cheese curds , butter chicken poutine , and authentic burgers. Definitely ,will come back again
Love this place! Great food and great service! Have already eaten here 3 times this week since its beside my work place! Chili cheese fries are amazing as well as the deep fried cheese curds!

Love the food we got like garpar fries, Thai califlowers were delicious and the Samosa s as well. My husband got the maple and bacon burger dinner and love it has well . Great food great and fast service. The boys serving us were so polite.
Awesome place!!! The service was awesome and fast, the food was amazing, we ordered the chilli cheese fries and wow best thing I ve probably had! My boyfriend said that he s never had such a good pogo. Definitely worth a try

I was disappointed after reading all the good reviews. Poutine with barely no cheese and all melted which makes me think it was not cheese curds since they dont melt that easily. My Canadian maple burger was dry because it did not have any of that siracha maple sauce which seems like they did not have any since my samosa did not came with it either. The fries were crispy and the burger had homemade patty. The food could had been really good.

I have tried Pickerel and chips as well as Canadian Maple Burger and absolutely loved it. My wife had Thai cauliflower bites and Cheese Curds and said she would definitely come back for more

The prices , food and service were all very good would definitely go back, only tried one item off the menu so far (poutine) which had some of the best chip stand fries Ive ever had, cant wait to try some other items off of their menu which has many different opitons.

Cheese curds and butter chicken poutine are very good. Hot dog was wrapped in tinfoil so it got very soggy very fast.

Stoped on my way to Wanapitae and had butterchicken poutine and maple burger. It was cooked to prefection and taste hit the mark. Burger is a must try.
