Best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Cape Cod. The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. I booked way in advance to be sure I didn’t miss out when coming to the Cape for vacation.
We did the 7 course tasting menu. It was phenomenal and did not feel too full after. The views were stunning. Service was too notch. No issues at all. They were accommodating of my allergies. And it’s not often that you can find 7 course vegetarian menus so that was very appreciated. The fried squash blossom with ricotta was my favorite along with the chilled soup. The risotto was just okay but every other dish was absolutely worth trying.
We happily returned to 28 Atlantic this summer because we had an excellent dinner experience last summer for our large party. Besides the great views and service, however, this dinner was disappointing. We had the 7 course tasting and each course was smaller than from the prior year, but more importantly, the food quality and flavors were not as good. As soon as the oysters course was delivered, we thought there was something odd about it. There was almost no liquid in the 2 oysters and they tasted fishy and slimy. They were obviously not fresh. When mentioned to the staff, the chef did provide a new plate of plain oysters that were fresh and tasty. Some of us liked the vegetables and egg dish which provided a bit of richness with the egg. The fish course was well cooked and had a mild flavor. Only complaint is that it was barely warm. The beef course was tasty but the portion so small that most of us were not quite full, even after the dessert. I'm disappointed by this experience. A hallmark of a great restaurant is how consistent the food is from one service to the next. I really hope that the food improves because it's on such a great property and did have really good food the last time we visited.
Twenty-eight Atlantic is a "must visit" on our list when we visit the Cape. It's a very special experience and the chefs tasting menu is fantastic! The food, atmosphere and service is some of the best we have ever experienced. It's such a treat every time we visit.
Had a lovely experience here last week. We were the first to arrive for our 5:30 reservation (indoor) and were seated promptly and attentively. Our server was wonderful and he did a great job explaining the menu. We were sat at the corner window seat for 2, best seat in the house! Excellent view! We did the prix fixe menu. Butter poached lobster and lobster carbonara were OUTSTANDING. But then again, everything we had was fantastic. Drinks were awesome as well. It was a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone!
I was MOH in my best friends wedding and she had a small-ish rehearsal dinner here ( 12 ppl ) The service was spectacular ( be prepared to spend 3-4 hours for the total dinning experience) We had two pre made menus to choose from. I chose the 7 course, chefs choice tasting menu. If your a foodie like me DO IT. The atmosphere is pretty but it feels a little stiff. Maybe they need some better background music. I felt like I was in a library and couldn't be loud lol
My oh my. What a treat! We sat outside and ordered from the outdoor menu and the prix fixe menu from inside. Clam chowder was amazing. The sushi with lobster / scallops was great. The presentation of everything was exquisite. Beef cheek amazing. Chicken was to die for. The desserts were delectable. Stacy is the best! The bees knees drink was tasty.
Very professional and congenial. Interesting food choices. Vegan friendly with multiple options. $$$$. Vegetarian options: Multiple dishes can be vegan adapted.
We had a three course meal and it took 3 hours. The food was sooooo slow coming out. My husband s steak was small and not good. The entrees come without vegetables. No music- lovely view. Very expensive with just one waiter serving several tables. The food was definitely not worth the cost or the wait.
It was a wonderful dining experience. Everything was outstanding.
when you want it to be special. fabulous birthday experience.
Our dinner at 28 Atlantic was a series a food misses that made the experience, at the price point, worth at most 3 stars. Starting first with what worked: the service. Aleisha was great, personable, attentive, friendly. Side staff could use additional training, but I assume this is what happens in a part Cod in the summer. We both went with the 3 courses dinner. I started with the Foie Gras: poor execution, came to the table almost liquid, likely taken out of the fridge way too early. It was accompanied by a croissant that had the consistency of a supermarket one. My wife got the lobster carbonara, pasta overcooked to a mush, pancetta burned to a crisp, and sauce way too liquid. I then got the duck, which also came too cooked (1 piece out of 2 was a solid medium well), and the Pithiviers which I was expecting to be crisp and light turned out to be more of an empanada than anything else. The A5 being the other entree, was OK. Desserts were decent (with the exception of the candied pistachios). We accompanied dinner with a great German Pinot Noir at a decent price point, worth a Burgundy, would recommend.
I Recommend NOTHING ON THEIR MENU. Their food is among the worst on cape cod. Fact! Anyone who claims to the contrary is not being HONEST. Absolutely horrible food. Which is astonishing when you see the view, and inside of this restaurant!! It boggles the mind how they could create such awful dishes! I visit the cape quite often & eat at the so called best restaurants. Some are very good, some are absolutely overrated. While staying at the WEQUASSETT, a few years, multiple times, my wife and I ate at Twenty Eight Atlantic. The food was terrible. Last night, we had a 5:30 reservation. It was booked under Ken B. The view is gorgeous, the staff is professional. But to anyone reading this- the food is awful. I d of enjoyed a 5 dollar McDonald s meal over the $ 475 we paid for absolute rubbish. We go to cape every month and eat out twice a day. Twenty Eight Atlantic is head and shoulders the most overvalued, tasteless food we have ever received in cape cod. If you want a good meal- go to Chatham bars inn. Or numerous others in Chatham. But, guys, if you want tasteless, overvalued food, go to twenty Eight Atlantic. Great view, nice staff, terrible food that borders on awful. Save your money as there are many better places. Sorry, but I tell it like it is. I only wish I could give zero stars for the food. Ken B.
This is our second time having lunch at twenty-eight Atlantic. This time we brought our daughter and son-in-law. We had a wonderful time drinking, eating, and thoroughly enjoying our wonderful waiter, DAVID. The day was beautiful. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was superb. After lunch we moved our party down to the outer bar for after dinner libations. We truly hated to leave this idyllic place. Can t wait for our next visit!
I would suggest the 3 course tasting vs 7. Go for the tuna, the lobster pasta and the oysters! The 7 course got to be too much food and they really shine with those three top courses! Cocktails are very pricey but on par with resorts these days.
A huge disappointment! When you think of the Wequassett Inn, luxury comes to mind. So our expectations for a Wequassett Inn brunch were pretty high. We planned to get some oysters or crudo, maybe a freshly made omelet (or both!) But sadly, the brunch menu had about 8 items on it, things like french toast, eggs, chicken and waffles, a burger, an over-priced lobster roll. We ordered the poached eggs with chermula and naan. When the plates came to the table, we were shocked to see there was ONE egg on each plate. For $24 each. Bloody Marys were good, but we made them ourselves. No bar, no bartender, no omelet station, hardly any seafood. Clearly, making a big profit on the brunch crowd was the goal. It was pitiful, really. One bright spot - our waitress brought us little fruit cups when we told her we were married there many years ago. But it didnt make up for such a lackluster, expensive...egg.
Amazing views and amazing waitstaff. Food portions could have been better for the price but overall a great experience.
Everything was absolutely perfect. We did the 7 course tasting menu to get the full experience, and it was worth it! I did get too full to finish every dish, but every taste was beautiful and delicious. Our server was excellent-this place makes you feel special from entrance to exit. I like that it feels upscale, but not uptight. It was my birthday, and I think every staff member stopped by to celebrate. They also threw in a few extra surprises to make me feel extra special; not expected, but greatly appreciated! The view is gorgeous as well, and it was fun to watch the fog roll in as we ate our meal. Absolutely recommend twenty-eight Atlantic for a splurge/guilty pleasure on a special occasion. Dietary restrictions: They ask about and consider any dietary restrictions. Parking: Easily found parking in the lot right when you pull in. Kid-friendliness: There was a couple with a sleeping baby in a stroller who they accommodated, which I thought was very nice!
Its one of our favorite places here in the summer on the cape. We generally spend time and have dinner at Thoreaus unless we have a bigger group, and then we dine with the beautiful view at 28 Atlantic!
Amazing service and good food! We had the opportunity to see doble rainbow, it was an unique experience.
Really nice and pretty restaurant right on the water. A really great location and very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and chatty at the same time. Thanks Toni for the nice evening ;)
Great view of the ocean.
Amazing food and service! Best restaurant in cape cod
Excellent food and atmosphere. Our server Anna was super sweet and attentive. Great food choice and cool sea view!
Absolutely loved our dining experience here. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. We were quite impressed. Also did not feel like we were rushed by any means. I would recommend to those who appreciate fine dining
This is a special restaurant, one of the best places to dine in the whole state of Massachusetts. The food is outstanding, the views and setting are even better. We ate in the bar area of the restaurant one night, then out on the veranda the next night, and had amazing experiences on both occasions. I couldnt recommend twenty-eight Atlantic highly enough. If you want a special meal on the Cape, this is where you go!
This was my first visit to the Cape Cod area and wanted a five star dining experience for my birthday. After some research, I came across Twenty Eight Atlantic. The staff, the food and general ambience was exquisite. I appreciated the birthday touch at the end of my meal.
Okay food but honestly way overpriced. The waiter we had was not sociable and made us feel uncomfortable from the start. I really wanted to like this place. The location is great and dining area was exceptional, but the experience we had was poor.
Lovely place to get brunch. The view is fabulous. Note the restaurant is located at the top ofthe hill. The brunch has a broad range of items from croissants, lox and bagel, fruit, eggs by order, and pancakes.
Food excellent. Service amazing. Atmosphere wonderful.
Wait staff was excellent, location was stunning, and overall ambiance was fabulous. The food was beautiful to look at, but a bit bland. I would have enjoyed a vodka based creative cocktail as well. Desserts were great. Nice place for a memorable special occasion. Parking: Plentiful
Great view, the food was decent. Limited vegetarian dinner options.
Excellent fireworks, great scenery and service, delicious food, good for toddlers
Twenty-Eight Atlantic gets much praise for being one of three 5 star restaurants in Massachusetts, but do they live up to the hype? The short answer is YES. We were seated promptly in the center along the wide window of the main dining room. The design of the restaurant was lovely, and the atmosphere was warm. The service was as you would expect from a 5-star restaurant. They were very attentive and provided great commentary behind the dishes. Now let s get to the main part, the food. Before appetizers, we were met with a small sweet corn gelato bite to prepare our pallet. They also provided terrific bread with garlic butter. For the apps, we ordered the pork belly and burrata. Both were absolutely splendid, especially the pork belly, WOW! Moving onto our main dishes, we had the chicken and the short ribs. Now you might ask why order chicken at a 5-star place, but you can quickly tell the attention they pay to all of their dishes. That chicken was about the best chicken dish I ve ever tried. The shorts ribs were also melt in your mouth good. No need for a knife; they were so tender. Safe to say, we didn t leave room for dessert, but we were still treated to two bite-size offerings that were terrific. Twenty-Eight Atlantic is a place you must go to; just make sure you re ready to digest the bill.
Very nice place for dinner and it has a nice view of the ocean.
Fantastic food, impeccable service and awesome views.
At the last minute, two days in advance, I made reservations on the phone for my girlfriend s birthday. The restaurant accommodated us, despite being booked. I had never been there and am a devoted diner. The service was outstanding, the food delicious and the view lovely. It is certainly pricey but they are up front about that. Also, they do not rush you and the leisurely pace and highly attentive staff add to the experience. The negative reviews focus largely on seating. It is a very popular place on the Cape folks, so the ambience may not be as great as Michelin rated places, but, the staff is the best on the Cape and the meal is exceptional. Highly recommend!
What an incredible restaurant. We are vegetarians and they accommodated us. The Food was delicious and Service was exceptional! Ty
Wonderful dining experience
Get a drink at the bar and go outside to the grand waterfront views of the bay and sit by the fire pits. They call you when your reservation is ready. If you don t have a reservation the pub also has tables is first come first serve. One of our favorite restaurants at the Cape.
Incredible food! Rennie was attentive and jovial. The oysters were perfect - as someone who hadnt previously cared for oysters, twenty-eight Atlantic has given me a whole new perspective on them. The whole fall menu was thoughtful and exuberant. The tuna was perfectly balanced with a spicy chili sauce and the short rib was savory and tender. I highly recommend getting the eight course tasting menu - you wont regret it!
Absolutely top notch! Food, service, atmosphere, everything. We had a truly wonderful dining experience!
Top notch service and food even during COVID. Wine list was extensive.
Had a fantastic dinner here. The service was great, and the food was amazing. We ordered oysters with lychee gel and caviar, grilled octopus, lobster carbonara, and wagyu beef, all made incredibly well. Definitely recommend the oyster dish and lobster carbonara especially. Can t wait to come back again
They need to be more aware of what table people ordered dinners from. They made a mistake on both of our tables, then kept us there for a half hour trying to figure it out.
I love fine dining. And I understand the flavors are more important than the portions. But the portions here are a joke. The food tastes good, but it s overpriced for what you get. Drive a bit farther to Ocean House and get a real meal.
The service is snails-pace slow. Plan on 2.5 hours minimum, well over 3 hours if you order desert. There were four of us in our party and everyones food was very good with the exception of the chicken, which was over cooked. Otherwise it was a terrific meal with a terrific view.
Well, I should begin by noting that my dinner party had a lovely time here. The physical setting is perhaps without equal anywhere in New England. Sweeping, unobstructed views of the bay-- little white sailboats, soaring gulls and pink sunsets, included-- provide the resplendent back drop. A gorgeous, cavernous, impeccably restored, antique New England structure holds the dining room. As per the servíce... We were very grateful to be served by people doing their best in a difficult situation. My remarks, therefore, pertain only to the food. Together, my dining party has probably been to the Cape 150+ times (no kidding), and to countless other resteraunts in different places around the world. I include this detail only to inform the reader that myself and my dinner party are omnivorous, not picky, and well-eaten. We all opted for the 7 course tasting menu. At roughly 225 bucks per head (8 drinks, tax and tip, included) this was an enormously pricey affair. The food was largely awful, and I do not mean relative to the price.. Through out, bizarre, and sometimes risible, choices bought otherwise lovely ingredients plummeting to their lowest common denominator. A wonderful sorbet sat unhappily in a pool of untouched, foaming, alcoholic champagne that was poured tableside from a ceramic vessel, as if a prankster had switched the sauce with a flute from the bar. Salty caviar--last fresh somewhere in the Russian bush-- mushed next to minced tuna, gelee, and cold, congeeling olive oil not only significantly worsened the beautiful Chatham oyster hiding beneath-- it, along with long ropes of seaweed tossed on top, had the appearance of something regurgitated onto a discarded rawbar plate by a passing sea gull. Other dishes were downright inedible. A tomato bisque somehow rendered syrupy, cloying; a lingering metallic aftertaste. The dish hardest to explain? A wee piece of cold lobster set amid what was undoubtedly one of the worst things Ive ever been served. Billed as a custard, our tiny bit of crustacean found itself swimming again-- this time in a sea of what may only be described as goo. Cold, slimy, gelatinous goo. Like egg whites whipped with warm dishwater, a touch of salt, then left to partially solidiy in the fridge. My dining mates all took a bite then looked up a bit confused, embarrassed-- could it really be as bad as they thought it was? For this price? We went about our merry way, delighted to have spent a night of near normalcy in a place unspeakably beautiful. If only the food were decent, it might have been something really special.
Gorgeous, elegant, quite spendy, worth it. Impeccable food, brilliant bar, spectacular view, outrageously friendly staff, just splendid.
On the pricey side but the food and cocktails were delicious! We celebrated our 10th anniversary with a dinner here.
We have been there everytime we vacation at the Cape. This week we went twice the 2nd time we dined there we were in at 6 and out by 645 for the money we spent I felt we should not have been so rushed. People should enjoy the experience you say you offer. We also asked when reservations were made for the window I was told they do not do that we were there and they had all empty tables but would not seat us at the window it was a very disappointing experience
Great view to the harbor and comfortable seating area. Friendly service and kids had a great brunch there
One of the best meals I have ever had! Tasting menu is one of the best and caviar plate, although pricey, was perfect! I can t wait to go back!
Great food Awesome experience, loved the heritage chicken.
The food was exquisite and the scenery was beautiful! It was worth every dollar spent. Definitely was not disappointed.
Just Marvelous... Great view, fine wine and not to mention the ambiance felt warm and subtle. Definitely will be doing this again
This restaurant Is at the pinnacle of the gestatory realm. Five stars are not enough. A must Cape Cod restaurant.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary with dinner at Twenty-Eight Atlantic, and the experience was incredible! We noted on our reservation that I have a wheat and dairy allergy, but I am always willing to work with the kitchen team around my dietary issues - worse case, I take an antihistamine when I get home. But that did not deter this incredible team! They created a gluten-free/dairy-free tasting menu that was pure perfection, and even compd us a fantastic dessert of oat crumble on sorbet with fruit for our anniversary! The sommelier, the table staff, the bartender, the check-in staff - all were gracious and fun while discussing menu/drink/wine options. Weve dined at some of the finest restaurants in NYC, the Bahamas, and Europe - and this evening at Twenty-Eight Atlantic is now in the top 5 of our most memorable meals. Superb! We cannot to dine there again soon.
Made a reservation for a significant birthday....requested a nice table...they sat us next to the noisy wait station and plenty of other tables open. I ordered the scallops ($50l and was served 3 scallops so full of grit almost inedible. Very poor experience....and I am used to paying for fine dining...this was not it.....
Ordered Lobster Carbonara appetizer for my wife and I. $38. It was delicious and would have been even better if they included some lobster! Just a little please. Two flecks of lobster that could barely be seen on the plate. That plate should have never left the kitchen. Oddly enough their signature dish recipe in Harwich Magazine - 2021 calls for 4oz butter poached lobster meat. I guess the chef doesnt know the recipe! My wifes broiled scallop entree was excellent. My filet medium rare came out medium well. Who is running the kitchen here? No potato with the steak so I asked for potato. They brought out a side of mushed potato that was served with another entree (fortunately for me) and it was excellent. The service is outstanding and the ambiance is magnificent but for their prices they need to improve their preparation. I have no professional training but I can grill perfect medium rare prime steak in my sleep.
We were celebrating our 34th anniversary and were expecting to have a wonderful experience. The evening we were there was a busy one as we were told several times that 3 weddings were taking place at the property. There was literally no place to park so we opted to park in one of the hotel parking spaces. The entrance was not clearly singed or well lit. We eventually found our way to the restaurant and were asked to wait in the bar outside by the firepit. We obliged and were surprised to find all the seats wet from the fog yet were told there was nothing to be done. We did order a beverage and it was quite good. When our table was ready, we went upstairs to be seated. We were asked several times for the spelling of our name and were eventually seated. We ordered appetizers, wine and dinner. Our appetizers of salad and tomato soup were nothing special. The salad lacked flavor and the soup was okay. We ordered the halibut and mushroom gnudi. The halibut was bland and accompaniments of herb gnudi rather chewy. The mushroom gnudi was really not mushroom gnudi but the same gnudi served with the halibut with a few mushrooms on top. We declined dessert but were brought a celebration mini cake. The gesture was kind, yet it was not at all tasty. It resembled a funfetti cake from a childs birthday party. Far too sweet and flavorless. Whilst the service was attentive, the food was very disappointing. We would not care to return.
Excellent food
A wonderful meal, great service from Eduardo and Bets, and a fabulous view
Superb meal. A lot of thought and care went into the preparation. Each dish had complex flavors with different sauces, dollops, and drizzles. High level of service.
Had such a wonderful experience for Sunday brunch. My elderly mother was visiting the Cape for the first time in 7 years after battling cancer and mentioned to the receptionist that she was treating me for my birthday. The food was outstanding, the view was glorious, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Thank you for making our day!
Always an amazing dinner and night out. The tasting menu was incredible, service was impeccable, and atmosphere cant be matched.
We went there for a wedding. Id give them an A+.
We ate here based on phenomenal personal recommendations and online reviews. The view was fantastic. The appetizer we had was good- but there few a few traces of peach pit, which could of broken our tooth. I had asked to try a taste of wine to make sure I liked- seeing the wine was $26 dollars for the glass. I was told due to covid they couldn t do that. They ended up giving me a taste when I pushed, and it was delicious. Wine was the best part of our entire meal. The Beef entree was tasty. I have Celiac and asked to have the Halibut. The waitress said they would prepare something special. I had potato, asparagus and mushroom for side. The fish was not seared. There was no sauce. It was all very bland. My son ordered duck and two very small pieces of duck breast were on his plate. The potions were extremely small. Ours totaled 274 for two appetizers and 3 entrees. We are used to eating at fine dining restaurants and consider ourselves foodies. We were not impressed and would not return. Best part of dinner was ocean view.
Excellent food & service
The food is delicious and they have what may be the best view of any dinner I ve ever had.
Food is above average but not mind-blowing, service is ok. Location is gorgeous. Pick whats important to you.
Beautiful location for a nice romantic dinner. The food was very good.
A lovely, extravagant place to eat, the food was intricate and the dining room was beautiful.
Great great
Great place amazing atmosphere. My wife and I truly enjoyed it.
Lovely staff and great food and view.
Loved it!
If you have high standards for cuisine, you ll probably be disappointed. The food was just ok, mediocre. We are from Colorado and I can t help but feel that the restaurants we have in Denver and Boulder put Twenty Eight Atlantic to shame. I had the tasting menu and it was the first time I was disappointed by a chef. The oysters are not as good as Maine s, the fish has the slightest fishy flavor and the Wagyu steak was chewy, even with ordering it medium rare. We wish we had chosen a different place to dine. The staff and ambience are fantastic though and I feel like that s what you are really paying for.
Gorgeous Venue; Great Food; Impeccable Service; Elegant & Relaxed atmosphere. Our servers name was Jessica and she was very knowledgeable and nice.
Amazing food and experience
There is really not enough amazing things I can say about this place but Ill try to come close. My husband & I just got married June 1st. We had a beautiful wedding that was perfect for us & my awesome husband planned a little getaway honeymoon to Massachusetts (we are from New York) for a few days. He planned whale watching & visiting antique shops etc to spend our awesome honeymoon hanging out with each other. He made reservations at Twenty-eight Atlantic & we got dressed up nice for dinner. The two hostesses greeted us & were so amazing, our server was amazing, everyone from the manager to the wait staff- the best company you can ever have in such a gorgeous place. They were so sweet that they brought us a little honeymoon gift to enjoy for our whale watching, I cried of course, that meant so much to us. The entire time we were there made our marriage really feel so real & it was the cherry on the cake to really start our amazing life together. Just a really great vibe from everyone. Just think...I didnt even start talking about the food yet. I dont have the right word for it, other than art. My husband & I were completely speechless. I dont want to give spoilers or too much info because this is something that, if youre reading this now, youre looking for something not only delicious but different & cool, refreshing & artistic & fun yet beautifully written as if food were poetry. That is the best way I can describe the dinner from beginning to end. The chef is a genius & an artist. Do the five course, itll blow your mind. Besides our wedding, this was the best time of our lives. We made a plan that every year for our wedding anniversary, we are coming back to Twenty-eight Atlantic to celebrate. Thank you to the awesome people at Twenty-eight Atlantic, youre wonderful & we will see you next June! Mr & Mrs. Napolitano
Great food and service on multiple dinner visits.
Jeff was our server and he went above and beyond to make an already fantastic meal spectacular. I cant compliment this restaurant and staff enough. Thank you for an amazing time.
We enjoyed another meal at 28 Atlantic on 6/24. The dining experience, the food itself and service were superb as always. Part of the charm is the elegance of the environment and the respect that most patrons have for the fine dining experience. Unfortunately the restaurant has gotten too liberal with their dress policy. A young couple arrived shortly after us. She was dressed beautifully but he had on flip flops, gym shorts and an untucked shirt. When she left briefly to visit the ladies room, he got right into his iPhone. What a slug. If the restaurant management doesn t control the obvious, soon they will loose the reputation they have built.
The food, experience, location and service were awesome! Highly recommend!
Food is always excellent and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable.
Terrific food and service. Wonderful setting with a view that cant be beat!
Our waitress, Khanya, made an absolutely awesome meal even more special! The staff was professional and friendly and accommodating but the food was utterly spectacular! The farm to table vegetables combined with the sublime flavors coaxed out of the food from the kitchen was out of this world. We ll be back!!
Our servers were knowledgable and take a fun but no nonsense approach to their job probably as much as the chef does preparing it.
Nice setting. Not quite able to live up to its pretensions. Food was good, but not memorably so. More complicated than complex. Very long wait before we were served. Very noisy.
Celebrity muy husband birthday
The fish I had was cooked to perfection. We all were very pleased with our dinner. The service was excellent. Theses young professionals really paid attention to detail. And what can I say ... the view is breathless. . Cheers
High cuisine and superb staff. Not inexpensive but well worth it.
Beautiful
Best restaurant on Cape Cod. Sure, the views are spectacular overlooking Pleasant Bay, but the cuisine even outshines the views and the staff even matches in charm the breathtaking views and the elegant cuisine! Thanks 28 Atlantic for making my birthday so magical if not majestic!
Service was perfect.
Delicious, elegant dining
Fabulous restaurant and have enjoyed dinner here multiple times. The menu is creative and varied, service is exemplary and a perfect balance of formal and relexed. Dessert is definitely worth saving space for, including an excellent selection of cheeses.
Fantastic food and cocktails! Great views out of the dining room or chill outside when the weather permits. Creative menus and drinks! Very pricey, but always satisfied!
Service was outstanding! I have a major food allergy, and they were extremely accommodating and helpful! Delicious food and impeccable views from the dining room. Even brought a few complimentary items to make our experience that much more special.
Everything was excellent and first class!
Atmosphere is beautiful, service was perfect, thank you Claire, food was top notch. Overall it was perfect
Hard to find such an attentive staff as those who minded our table of 11. The food was extraordinary.
We drove 45 minutes for reservations and were turned away at door because my husband had tan khaki shorts on. I was in a dress and 9 months pregnant. The website says smart casual attire. I would say khaki shorts in June on the cape is smart. What s not smart is turning away 2 customers one of which is 9 months pregnant. Very poorly handled, would highly recommend you not giving your money to a place that acts this way.
Absolutely exquisite. Our waitress, Vivienne, was so attentive and sweet! We could chat with her all night! The whole staff was wonderful and made our night extremely special. We felt like we were the only table being attended to. The food was also absolutely AMAZING. It was a pricey night but so well worth it for the view, the food, and the amazing staff. We will be back again next summer!
Exceptional service and delicious food. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary here and it was a perfect experience. We started with cocktails - her a French 75 and me a Nom de Plum. The French 75 was well done and stayed true to form for the classic cocktail. The Nom de Plum was a very floral and sweet version of a gin martini made with St. Germain. As we were settling in, they brought out an amouse bouche that was an incredible mixture of sweet and savory. I cant remember everything in it but I know it had pork belly, raisin gel, a berry foam, and I believe walnuts. We then ordered a half dozen oysters which were deliciously briny and accompanied by a standard but tasty cocktail sauce and a really unique and tasty blood orange migninette. For our main course she had the Day Boat Scallop with Tuna steak and I had the Beef Tenderloin and added a half lobster to make it surf and turf. The scallop and tuna fish stole the show for us, possibly the best scallop wed ever eaten - cooked to perfection with a very delicate glaze. We decided to pass on dessert because we had eateb every bite of what was in front of us to that point, but they brought out a small chocolate ganache and salted caramel cone with house made chocolate candies and a deconstructed smore. We ate the cones and had the smores for breakfast the next day and both were delicious. Though twenty-eight Atlantic is not too easy on the wallet it is definitely a worth while spot for a celebration. The hype is real in my opinion.
Excellent service. Food was absolutely delicious. Personalized service was astonishing. A little pricy but the service and the views of the ocean make it absolutely worth it! 19/20.
Great service and food but not cheap. What a view from every seat.
Beautiful view, excellent imaginative food. Expensive, although the appetizer of pasta with lobster was really entree size. Superb service. The best overall experience on the Cape.
Had an amazing meal from start to finish. Our server Jonny was fantastic. So friendly and personable. He provided excellent food and drink recommendations. We shared the squid appetizer, mains were tenderloin and bass, and we shared the cheesecake dessert. Thank for making our last night on the Cape so memorable. Highly recommended!!!
This gourmet restaurant is well-placed in Cape Cods most elegant, and expensive, resort. Choose between a no-option five-course prix- fixe menu or a slightly cheaper al a carte approach, with several more options. The food is well-presented; smallish portions placed expertly on the plate, artistically rendered. The room is comfy plus. While the service can be professional-perfunctory (explanations were complete, but rendered at an unintelligible speed), the overall experience measured up to the $200+ tip included (mandatory)/couple fare. At the same time, it was less than memorable, mostly attributable to the inconsistency of the food and aloof service.
Best restaurant on Cape Cod! Such an incredible place with an amazing view! The food is delicious and the service is even better!
Yummy
Beautiful view over the bay! Food is amazing
Wonderful upscale fine dining. Weve now visited on three separate occasions, having a wonderful experience each time. Refined cuisine at its finest.
Extraordinary is not an adequate word to describe the food & wait staff
Ultimate setting, views, dining and service! Definition of a perfect dining experience - However, not inexpensive.
Best eat out ever
Great food
Excellent
This restaurant is great, and it is closed between the days immediately following Thanksgiving and late March/early April. If management chooses to edit the hours posted here I will remove this. And because that information is not provided, I am sharing it. Thank you.
With years of dining experience and vast travel Twenty Eight Atlantic (Cape Cod MA) is probably one of the finest resort restaurants we have ever experienced. From the second you arrive at the lovely parlor entrance to moment you walk out of the door, you are surrounded by the opulent décor, stunning views and extraordinary staff. Every single detail is amazing. Whoever designed the restaurant was a true professional. The international staff served in style and were gracious, engaging, helpful with menu suggestions and performed to the highest of expectations. A very generous pour on the martinis and a well-chosen wine list were eagerly provided. Now the food. It was another fabulous experience. The imaginative menu provided a large selection of unique appetizers and main courses. It was hard to choose from the fresh fish to the meats that were offered. Our party of four all had different entrees each more beautifully presented than the other with the gourmet quality rarely found. There should be no doubt why this fine establishment has received so many five star ratings from so many professional groups like Zaget. As another reviewer said: There is nothing like this on Cape Cod. Five Plus Stars!! A must visit.
Outstanding food, experience and event. My wife and I came here for our three year anniversary with our 2-1/2 year old (yes, we did it) for a 7:15 reservation. The wait staff were so attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door, to sitting down at our table where they had a stuffed lobster toy waiting at our daughters seat. She enjoyed a three course meal while my wife and I started with the pear and almond cream chowder (unbelievable flavors) and cranberry salad. I had the swordfish which was amazing and my wife the chicken. Jonny was one of the best waiters we ve ever had. Hats off to the staff and this restaurant. We will be returning many, many times!
The food is amazing, the staff are top notch and the facility in general is beautuful. There is nothing else remotely close to this kind of experience on Cape Cod.
Best restaurant in Chatham!!!
I specifically made reservations (3 days prior) and chose this restaurant for the view. They also know it was a special occasion for two special family events. When we arrived 3 hostess, shuffled and whispered around the computer screen. A hostes showed us to a table across the dining room from the view. We had the worst table in the house. I spent my dinner looking at the waiters station/ computer gazing across and empty dining room over the people at the tables in front of the view. I would think with 3 days notice they would have arranged the dining room to accommodate us. I will never go here again. The food and service was overly pretentious.
Twenty-Eight Atlantic was one of the best dining experience I have ever had. The staff was incredibly courteous and friendly. The food was delicious, and the views of Pleasant Bay are unbeatable. The staff was aware that we were celebrating our engagement, so they went above and beyond to make it a special night, including complimentary items, a nice congratulations card, and they also took the time to take a few photos of us. I would highly recommend the restaurant to all my friends and family.
UNBELIEVABLE, SPLENDID VIEWS SUPPORTED BY CREATIVE FOOD AND THE MOST ATTENTIVE SERVICE ON THE CAPE. YOU DONT EVEN MIND THE 18% GRATUITY ADDED TO ALL BILS! - WELL, NOT TOO MUCH!
