Good snack food

Went for some ice cream after the soccer staff was greats so was the ice cream

During my long walk across Canada on foot for cancer research I stopped here to enjoy a good meal and I was served by a courteous and dynamic staff. I highly recommend this place.

Family atmosphere, very good snack with very reasonable prices for the quality of the products. We stopped there by chance when we saw some locals stopping there. We d recommend it!

Hamburger/poutine trio. Its been a long time since we ate such a good hamburger and what can we say about the poutine, excellent is an understatement. The meat is tasty, the vegetables crisp and good (not easy to find at this time of year). The poutine, just wow! Generous sauce and just thick enough and above all not too salty, potatoes with this little sweet taste, the cheese which completely melts in the mouth. After our trio, we wanted to go back there out of greed, it was so good. A very nice discovery for us, thank you to the owner! Great service as usual. Looks like theyve installed a whole section dedicated to ice cream for the summer. Excellent convenient location. Kid friendly. Parking is always plenty. Easy in & out. 1.50 steamed hotdogs- cant go wrong here, open all year long.

The food is really good! Atmosphere is ok. It s a snack bar, so not really going for atmosphere. Pricing is fair. Service is lacking big time. They don t listen to hear. I went to pick up an online order and was cut off and told it s not ready, before I could even talk. Finally, she listened and realized my order was ready and waiting. Second time I did online ordering, she gave my food away to someone else before I got there ON TIME. I showed her my online receipt of payment and asked her do you not ask to see receipts? Ask for a name? So apparently you can just show up there pretending you ordered online and they ll give you free food. All in all; food is great, pricing is fair, communication is terrible, online ordering/pickup is a joke.

Quality food & atmosphere for a year round chip stand. Their service is always top notch- if they can do a little more (bring food to your table for you, or pay special attention to your kids requests) to brighten your day, they will. I go often for a delicious $1.50 hotdogs, and their fries & burgers are excellent. They are very conveniently located. Lots of parking.Definitely recommend. Parking: Always space available. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

I was only there to pick small french fries. The person who took my order forgot it and ended up serving other people. I waited 15 minutes for my order, and I would have longer if I didnt ask. Did you forget my order?

A little pricier than most restaurants and chip places around but the food is delicious. In winter, we have a small sitting area inside which is nice. In summer however -- beware. Bees everywhere, tables outside dirty. Got stung 3 times last year waiting for my fries. A few times a server taking my order didnt speak, just looked at me without saying anything so thats awkward. But overall good service. Good food & portions. Only 4 stars because it was very unpleasant to be stung by bees every time I went in the summer. Great little local place.

Cute snack bar with good quality food

Just got my 2 piece chicken order where do I begin pshh. Didnt get the coleslaw and gravy that comes with it. Paid extra for a drink. The chicken looked good and has alot of potential if they change thier seasoning. Tasted like ramen noodle flavor packets. And the fries were soggy and limp and cooked to hell. Advertised 7.99 i paid 15$ with a 10% tip. In addition the guy at the counter wasnt very personable and left more to be desired. I guess that is why no one was in the parking lot. I got my food 10 seconds after I ordered, witch i didnt like. Id rather wait 4 minutes for fresh fries and maybe i would have given this place an extra star. Wont be back. The owner needs to be more present.

A good poutine like you eat in the summer in a snack bar! Its actually really good. And the hot dogs were delicious!! Cheap only $14 for a medium poutine and two Alldress hot dogs.

Honestly best poutine and hot dogs EVER. Yes this is better than la belle province!! This place is a little gem and one of the VERY few good restaurants in Hawkesbury area.

Imagine having to argue that theres no mustard on your hotdog, when you did not ask for it, and then them thinking its hilarious that in upset because I dint get what I paid for. First and last time ever at this location. Avoid this place if youre English because thats the attitude you get if you come here as an Anglo. Plus I just watched him drop his tongs, and picked them back up to serve other clients without cleaning.

Excellent food, Fried chicken is my favorite take out and KFC Hawkesbury has such rude staff and half cooked or cold food, Im happy Jacques decided to do this place, excellent price on the chicken and chips plus coleslaw and sauce Definitely recommending this restaurant to others. Nice staff too.

Just ordered the fired chicken and OMG cant ask for anything better then that. It is the best fried chicken around by far. Good job to the gang at lamoureux.

Hamburger was way too cooked otherwise the rest was OK the price I find is a little bit steep

There is plenty of room to sit outside or inside. The service was excellent and fast. The hot dogs and the Jack burger and fries are super good.

The meals at Lamoureux are excellent. Their baby potatoes are worthy of a good quality snack bar and their pizza is incredible. I am delighted to have taken the time to taste their famous pizza. If you want to taste a good pizza, I recommend you stop by. Their sauce, pepperoni and all their flavors are delicious, I have a weakness for their Lamoureux special with good grilled meats. Speaking of grills, this is the only place in the region where I could find grills in bulk or in sandwiches. Normally, I have to go to the Valleyfield area to eat it. They also offer a keto menu for those interested! I highly suggest you stop by and try their menu, you will not be disappointed.

Varied menu, reasonable price in addition to the small fruit shop in season. The food is excellent as a bonus for a snack bar type restaurant.

Cant say enough good stuff about this place. The food is awesome, the staff is super friendly, and I love how they have a farmers market right next to it.

Ordered my Hotdog trio. Really got turned off when I saw the lady doing the cash and then not washing her hands before touching the bread and Hotdogs. You MUST wash your hands before touching the food. As for the taste, it was not that tasty. Will I go back NO

Food was okay, nothing special. Kind of pricey for what it is. But that most places now a days.

Have to say tried the pizza from here last night and wow. Sure the price is a little higher but the pizza is thick and filling plus they don t cheap on the toppings. Now if they only made calzones it would be even better. But if you want great pizza and fries check these guys out.

Full disclosure, I stopped here because of the name but am of no relation whatsoever that I know of! On my travels last week I stopped at Lamoureux Snack Bar. Snack Bar does not sell this place enough- there is a very full menu of choices: pizza, hamburgers, club sandwich, poutine, fries and fried chicken! I was greeted so warmly by the owner with a friendly smile and excellent customer service. The interior is rustic: very clean and well organized. The food was delicious I order the pizza, pepperoni and cheese, to go and ended up with the slice and an order of classic poutine. It was made to order and was a generous portion. Pizza had a nice crust and lots of cheese. Poutine fries were perfect- did not go soggy under the yummy gravy and authentic curds. The owner told me they grow the potatoes themselves! I will go back again in the spring to try other items on their menu. Hospitality was wonderful. Great family restaurant and lots to go back for.

First and last time! 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting, the lasagna was flowing everywhere, all crushed! Ouah

Had a poutine with extra cheese it was absolutely awesome ! It was so good ! The fries were just the way i love them , nice and well done, the sauce was nice and dark and the curds were nice and squeequy ! The staff was very nice and very friendly ! I will certainly go

I went there for a poutine.. I just love poutine who doesnt.. Their sauce 5 stars, Their fries they just change it for bigger one 5 stars the best aswell and the squeeky yummy cheese so yummy! Their vegan burger Omg! 10/10 Their poutine 10/10 The staff is gold there they are kind and very welcoming and the owner well hes awesome always been a people person. If you are coming through Hawkesbury you have to stop there anyone who pass on Hwy 34 coming in Hawkesbury you gotta stop The best food made by the best people. My review went down from 5 stars to 2 not due to the food .. the food is great.. it was due to one of the ladies there talking about tips and how cheap people are with their tips.. I didn t tip because you were rude and talking badly about your customers.. maybe smile and engage and not be so rude about your customers.. and by the way.. I speak French.. I m not cheap.. I tip good service.. you didn t give me good customer service . Will not eat there again

The hotdog buns were wet and the sausages were undercooked. In addition, a sign displays the price of hotdogs at $1 but charged us $1.50 even after indicating the error.

Poutine was good, hotdog was average but service was garbage. The person at the front window was rude complaining that customers dont come pick up theyre food quick enough even though they just had called their number. Keep it to yourself, youre in the service industry deal with it dont go complaining to your customers. She also complained that there was an annoying dog in the seating area. Turns out the dog was mine and was just excited to see the people we were meeting there. She kept complaining how annoying the dog was and could not shut up. He did shut up... keep it to yourself, youre in the service industry deal with it, dont go complaining to your customers. The seating area/patio was messy with napkins, and condiments packets littering the surroundings. Ive read the other review about someone working there complaining of the lack of tips, well start by being nice and not complain about others infront of customers.i was very close to give a tip until she started complaining. I recommend everyone to go somewhere where they value theyre customers.

Went there a few times for poutines but its by a train track and it stinks tar so takes away the pleasure. The ice cream they serve is a rip off for the portion you get, really ! Parking: Good parking space.

Great Poutine and Hot Dogs

I have just had the worst experience of my life, I have been diagnosed with extreme lactose intolerance, I took the trouble to tell them I have just finished the last butcher of my big jack and I realize that they have hidden the cheese Between the meatballs, I am currently in the emergency room at the Hawkesbury General Hospital bending over in front of my children and my in-laws. I ask the population of Hawkesbury and the Moose to boycott this establishment because in addition it charges additional hidden costs thank you, regards, thanks

Extremely overpriced fries! Quick food on July 24, 2021 around 2 p.m. The hot dogs were $0.99 but a simple standard size fries for one person $4.60 or $5.20 with taxes which is a disproportionate price. We were able to eat outside on a table with a parasol. We offer you a photo of the business. No fries for me, well never go back. Review written on August 1, 2021 in Salaberry de Valleyfield.
