Wonderful lunchtime visit. Amazing gin gin mule cocktail - highly recommended! Hot dog was an amazing meal for what one thought it was going to be. Perhaps the gin gin mule helped?? Hic . again highly recommended. Wonderful outdoor setting with difficult beanbag game - made more difficult from the gin gin mule cocktail(s?) . well worth the visit! Parking: Parking on grounds. Free but shade is random due to moving sun! Owner confessed they were still working on this .. Kid-friendliness: Totally child-friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Totally wheelchair user friendly.

We visited Old Salt Cocktails at the Grange on our recent trip to PEC and absolutely loved the cocktails and sausages (that Huli Huli sausage was to die for...we ended up ordering seconds). A great experience that is definitely worth checking out when visiting the area.

Fantastic venue and friendly staff. I recommend it for those two attributes as well as for the cocktails. I gave it a 3 because Im a beer guy and not only is their selection of beers quite limited, they charge $9 a beer and you dont even get an entire 355ml (small can) worth of beer. They pour a portion of the can into a small glass. Not sure what they do with the leftovers in the can but for $9 it should be going in my belly!

There is a reason this place has such a high rating. It is such a unique little spot in the midst of all the other wineries. Great menu of both drinks and food. Beautiful gardens and fun games for everyone to play. Would recommend.

Stunning! The owner and his partner are super nice! The drinks are wonderful, especially the gin mule. The hot dogs are delicious. Perfect for the family, you can play several giant games (battleship, connect4). I highly suggest it!

Really awesome use of this space. A nice little change of scenery from wineries for lawn games, cocktails and gourmet hotdogs. The hospitality from the team there is awesome, definitely worth making a stop in for.

With the children after a day in the sun, we took the wine route. We were looking for a family place and by chance we found the Old Salt cocktail. We played Battleship in giant format which allowed me to practice my first borns mathematical skills while my partner drank an excellent cocktail. My only regret is not having tried the hot dogs because we were between two meals. So go there for supper or dinner. I like hot dogs. And the Cactus for holding cocktails is pure genius. I am importing the concept to Quebec.

I stopped in at Old Salt on a hot day while touring The County. My husband and I had enjoyed cocktails at their previous location so I was excited to see their new place. They have lots of different activities to enjoy, a great garden and spots to sit both in the sun and in the shade. I enjoyed their melon ball drink . Tasty and refreshing, but be warned the liquor soaked melon ball packs a punch! Had a lovely chat with one of the owners while I sipped my cocktail. A delightful detour!

What a fun experience with lots of games for kids and family. This whole place felt like I was back in Hawaii. Had some excellent iced coffee that looked like a pineapple drink and melon lime ball cocktail. The hot dogs were pretty decent - the banh me, no banh you was the best. Would definitely come here again with the kiddos.

This is such a hidden gem and needs to be talked about more. I had the flight path cocktail was the right amount of sweetness and alcohol. The atmosphere was very neat and relaxing. Love the vibe here.

Old Salt Cocktails has a great vibe about. You hear music gently playing in the background as you are enjoying the unique scenery and sipping on a very enjoyable cocktail. David and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You feel like you just made a new friend. Old Salt is definitely a destination to take a break from the wineries, kick back and enjoy. Family friendly with a selection of games. Offering non alcoholic choices, sausages and hot dogs as well. Absolutely a repeat destination.

We absolutely loved this place! The drinks were so unique and refreshing! The dogs were so delicious and fully loaded with toppings! This spot is only open a few months in the year, and its a must visit! What a great stop for cocktails, schedule a tasting ahead of time (24h) if you can. And come with your appetite for one of their smoked beef hotdogs! David was so generous with his time to chat with us through his cocktail creations, we had such a wonderful time. Old Salt Cocktails delivered the most incredible cocktails and ambience for my parents 60th bday party. They came and set up by the barn, and every single guest raved about the tailor-made experience! Go visit them, hire them for your event - you will fall in love.

Wow ! Located so close to the north end of the island and right in the heart of a lot of wineries. But I heard this year Old Salt is doing wine tastings from south end of the county at your new location on Closson Rd right across from where you were. Can t wait! Old Salt is one of our must do s when we re in the County. Inventive cocktails (a great treat when the wine tastings are too much) and mocktails, killer vibes, and OMG the dogs the Huli Huli and Pig Mac are next level. An idyllic setting. And salt of the earth owners. Seriously folks just go!

Had a fantastic time this afternoon at this just discovered by me establishment! Can t say enough how great the drinks and service were. Had to wait in line but the company was fantastic. Fellow clientele were a riot had so many great chats while waiting to order yet another yummy cocktail! Hands down I ll be back. I m already planning which of my summertime guests to bring to Old Salt Cocktails. It s refreshing to partake in something other than wine .thank you Dave and Maggie for doing what you do!

Old Salt was not on our list of places to go, but we passed by, read the signs (hot dogs + cocktails), slammed on the breaks, and did a U-turn. 2 hours later and here are three reasons why you absolutely need to add Old Salt to your tour: 1. The best service weve had, possibly ever. When we approached the bar, we were greeted with the friendliest welcome, that led into an awesome banter about the cocktail menu, the history of the cocktails, and the background of how the owners grew the business from a mobile pop-up to their dream business. Because of how much fun we were having, we stuck around for the around the world wine tasting (which entirely blew us away). The tour included a back and forth between Canadian and International grapes which left us with a newfound appreciation for Canadian wines. The servers wine knowledge was impressive and included information on the local climate and vineyards. Not too mention how damn charming the owners are. The love for their craft was self-evident and made it an absolute joy to speak with them. 2. Food & Drink was 10/10 We sampled a few cocktails, all the wine, and a couple of the bougie hot dogs and everything was over-the-top awesome. Mezcal + smoked sea salt cocktails, fried onion + chimichurri sauce, and the best Chardonnay (who knew I liked Chardonnay?). We ordered double than what we intended but it was worth every bit. 3. Games, games, games. With so many wineries in the area, you can get bored pretty quick of sitting and sipping. Luckily Old Salt had a bunch of stuff to do. We played a few rounds of cornhole, there was a massive Jenga game, and other outdoor activities to keep the energy high while we took in the surrounding greenspace. Bottom line - go here and thank me later.

The atmosphere they ve created is great with lawn games & picnic tables spread across the lot, and they have a good selection of cocktails and snacks available. Old Salt was the best part of our trip to PEC. Maggie and David were incredible hosts for our visit. We did the PEC vs the World Tasting and Maggie was so knowledgable and passionate about the wines chosen. All of the wines were sustainable in some way and were available for purchase. Maggie even delivered wine to our hotel! The cocktails were fantastic and the staff were friendly and approachable. There are games to play like life size Jenga, Corn Hole, and Scrabble. There are patio tables with umbrellas and super clean Port o Potties for washrooms. There are delicious hotdogs and sausages available with awesome toppings as well as vegan options. We had the most magical afternoon here and we will definitely be returning as soon as possible. We were there for a bachelorette party but this is a wonderful place to visit with a partner, a family, or a trip with friends.

Was on a self-guided biking winery adventure with friends and did not plan to visit here, but we all saw the Drinks and Dogs sign, so we had to stop to check it out. The people running this place have a GREAT vibe; so welcoming, down-to-earth, and clearly care about what they do. Cocktails and food were great, we actually stopped by the following day on our way out of PEC. I personally did the wine tasting and it was one of the most informative tastings Ive ever done. Loved that they focused on finding wineries with sustainable efforts in their wine production. The tastings were all delicious (and were great pours!). I highly recommend people stop by here if theyre in the area!

Great place if you re sort of drunk, need some food but don t want something mega glam & in town, and also want to keep the good times going. Everything is environmentally conscious & either recyclable or compostable (things I appreciate but don t pay attention too when I m cocktailing). Fun games too! This was on our top of our list and first stop while in the County. The weather was fantastic and the crowd was fun with different areas to sit and have a drink and dog. It was busy time and glad to see a lot of bachelorette parties throughout the day. We placed our drink and food order together. You get your drinks and find a place to sit. The drinks were amazing and we all tried different sausages combos. I will attach menu for reference. The owners are great entrepreneurs and were able to pivot and provide a great customer journey. The bartender clearly takes great pride in his craft. Expertly conceptualized and crafted cocktails. Real ingredients. No bar mix here! No one makes cocktails like this, this place is an homage to the cocktails of old, with a modern twist. Super friendly and engaging staff. Delicious dogs. Try the Reuben dog. Beautiful, relaxing spot with ample parking. So glad that someone had the vision and creativity to make this happen. Please come back next year. Cute little pop up that serves high end cocktails out of their trailer. We had their Venetian Spritz when we were visiting Grange winery. It is made right in front of you in a few minutes. Really good.

Worth the long weekend wait

This is not a regular bar cart - this is an experience. We hired David/Old Salt Cocktails to be our bar for our wedding in Prince Edward County and to this day, 12 months after, we are getting comments about the mind-blowing experience our guests had with our bar. If you are looking for an elevated bar experience, no one Ive encountered does it better than Old Salt. First of all, David understands flavour profiles and subtleties in crafting the sort of drinks that you just dont want to down; ones youd want to savour instead (and then have 3 more...). He crafted cocktails, curated a wine list, and carefully selected glassware all for our event. To help build the ambiance of our wedding, we wanted him to serve Arabic Coffee and dates at the start of our ceremony as a nod to my husbands culture. He was so enthusiastic at the thought of doing this for us and spent so much time researching the traditional way of brewing arabic coffee. Talk about going above and beyond our expectations. Apart from this, David himself is a gem to work with. It is very rare to find a warm, conscientious, and wordly individual in this type of business. He and his staff at Old Salt check all the boxes. From this experience, youre bound to make a friend youd want to hold on to forever. Since then, weve seen him twice at his pop-up at the Grange Winery in PEC. Everything he does is just fabulous! Dont think. Just book.
