That Little Place By The Lights in Huntsville

Overrated is an understatement. I dont think I have ever had worse Italian food. The whole meal and experience was a disappointment. Two of our parties meals were tomato sauce based and they were both terribly acidic. The salads were also a complete disappointment and tasted as if they had been doused in bottled dressing. Inedible, and certainly not authentic. I know how to prepare amazing food myself, and what they are serving is anything but. Fortunately for them theyre in a small town with few options. They would never survive with competition from places that serve quality cuisine. Featured over a decade ago on You gotta eat here, well not anymore. Theyre still riding the coattails of this one episode, but if they were ever any good, they havent bothered to maintain those standards. My recommendation ... eat anywhere but here!

Unreal, wish my friend told me about this before, i live in Dorset not in Huntsville too often but going there every visit. Perfect food, perfect service. Best eatery i have been to in Decades, 10 out of 10. Bravo

Wow! Pleasantly surprised . Buratta appetizer was fresh and flavoured nicely with seared baby tomatoes. The aglio, olio e pepperonccini was delicious. Great food, great service. No doubt we will be back! Vegetarian options: Spaghetti with aglio e olio - wow!

We had the best Italian meal in the world. I fell in love with gelato, if you come here please try their gelato and tiramisu. Pasta , pizza and salad are also delicious. The waiter was very kind and taught us how to eat Italian food properly. It gave us a very happy experience here.

Weve been coming here from Toronto for years just for the Lasagna. It is light heavenly and full of flavour.

We had a fantastic dining experience tonight! We were early enough that we didnt have to wait long for a table. Our server, Sue, was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly and offered great advice for our meal selection. I had the mushroom ravioli that, with my Cab Sauv, put me in food ecstasy! My partner also thoroughly enjoyed his frutti de mare. Run, dont walk, to this fabulous Italian family restaurant!

The resturant closes at 8:30 PM. When we arrived at 7:15 PM we were told a table for 2 would take 40-45 minutes to which we agreed and shared our contact number to be notified when table is ready. We took stroll around the town and while.on our way back around 7:45 pm we got a call saying we will not be able to take you in today as we are closing by the time we take your order. No courtesy /sorry/apologies. We were pretty close to starving through the night because most of the restaurants had closed or had reservation by the time we could look for alternatives. Thanks to the fast food joints that helped us get through the night. As to the staff who handled our request and this restaurant, i wish could rate them below 1. Even if it was said to be serving the best food in the whole world i would never think of eating at the this restaurant again. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for over 12 years, this is the only restaurant we go to for lunch and dinner every time we come up to Huntsville, because it is always amazing, food and service! My favourite dish is the spaghetti and meatballs. Manny (the owner) is a cool guy and knows how to run an amazing restaurant!

Had a very disappointing experience at this place. We arrived that the spot exhausted with days treks and adventures craving for good Italian food. The restaurant was full and we were informed we would get a table post a 45 minute wait. We thought it would be worth the wait and decided to wait. We killed the time strolling around town in cold weather. 30 minutes into waiting we were told they cannot accommodate us in a very rude and unapologetic manner. This was a let down. By now all the other food joints were closing and had wait times longer than 45 minutes. We were about to pass out from hunger and exhaustion if not for food chain stores like pizza pizza, quesada. This spot failed on basic humanity grounds.

Have been coming here for many years. Never, ever disappoints and always consistently good. A real gem in the heart of Muskoka.

Cannot reserve but thats no problem, go to the Caesar Bar while you wait for your call. Then come enjoy a comforting and authentic Italian experience. Everything was excellent, made with love and attention. The Greek salad was dressed and mixed really well and so good that it makes you want to only come here for Greek salads. Oh, and the Gnocchi Rose is the best you will ever have. I challenge you to find a better one!

Had a very disappointing experience at this place. We ordered one pizza for takeout but our family wanted to have one more so we thought we would dine in and order it and when we did they said you are taking our two tables and he was so rude about it and he was staring at us like we did some crime. The owner and the cashier both were so rude. The pizza wasn t even good. Overall bad experience for tourists. Don t go here.

Honestly the best lunch I have ever had. Service was exceptional. The food was beyond words. I had the mushroom ravioli with Peruvian peppers and it was delicious. You need to get there early to get a seat but if you have to wait, it is worth it. You definitely Gotta Eat Here.

Horrible customer service! These guys are rude! The guy at the bar gave me a death stare and asked me to step outside for a chat when I told him that his colleague on the phone mis-informed me about the rule allowing service dogs! She told me I can bring my dog and when I arrived they shouted at me to get out! They were loud and all other customers were staring in our direction. Why did they tell me on the phone I can bring my dog? At the restaurant they said, dogs on patio only! So I said okay, Ill take the patio. Then they said, but patio is closed! What wrong with them?? I specifically asked on the phone, can I dine there with my service dog? They said yes. I drove there just coz they said on the phone dogs are allowed! Extremely rude and nasty service. If I was informed of this WHEN I CALLED 15 minutes before I entered, it would have been understandable. I am aware of the basic laws and policies in the country.

The food was AMAZING. I got the special (butternut squash ravioli) and it was perfect. Creamy, savoury, interesting flavour. My whole family (kids included) loved everything they ordered. They didnt have a kids menu but made my daughter a lunch sized spaghetti and it was perfect. The service was great too, we were happy to get a table since they dont take reservations. The food came out quickly and our waitress was nice. Well be back next time we visit Huntsville!

We only had the Espresso (good flavour, I drink coffee black that is when you know its good) Espresso is great when you are on the motorcycle. Caffeine with little liquid. and my husband had a chocolate Gelato which he enjoyed.

Our first time here but we ll definitely be back. The food was delicious, especially the Pesto Chicken, everyone kept stealing it from my plate. Our waitress Mary was phenomenal. She s such a bright, lovely presence.

We came to That Little Place By The Lights craving some Italian food, and our standards were somewhat met. We ordered the lunch special pasta, the Mama Anna s pizza, and the Bianca pizza. The lunch special pasta was good, and the Mama Anna s pizza was great. The Mama Anna s was generous in meat toppings, and will definitely satisfy meat lovers. The Bianca pizza could have used more toppings like onions and mushrooms, considering they are listed as one of the main toppings. On some slices of the Bianca pizza, it could have even passed as a regular cheese pizza, as there was way too much oil than needed. The Bianca pizza could have used more seasoning. It was extremely heavy, yet very bland. Although there were minor improvements that could be made for the food, the cheese used in this restaurant was amazing. Additionally, the ambience of the patio was pretty refreshing with a view of the lake. The service was okay.

What an incredible place! I ve been here countless times. The staff is so nice and incredible. Always doing their job to the fullest while making sure to keep up with the customers! The bathrooms are great and the patio was an incredible idea! The Restaurant itself is very nice. Lots of places to sit with tons of options including Pizza, Pasta, and even Gelato for dessert! I ve been a regular at This little spot by the Light for ages, where we took my mother for her 71st birthday as it is her favourite restaurant. She always gives gift certificates to all her friends, too, but today s service was just awful. We waited over 50 minutes and reordered our coffee twice because they kept forgetting. Five tables around us got served before we did, even though they came in after us. We all just ordered pasta nothing complicated. When I finally asked the server about our order, she looked totally caught off guard, like she realized she forgot to put it on the computer. You could see the panic in her eyes. When we decided to leave because we didn t want to wait any longer, they forced us to pay for our coffee and even argued with us. And to top it all off, the owner wouldn t come speak to us. So disappointing!

What an amazing find on our quick stop in Huntsville!! The staff here are fantastic! No reservation necessary, they will welcome you graciously and get you a spot asap. The food is absolutely exquisite, I had the chicken picatta accompanied by THE BEST Penne Rosé I have ever tasted!! My husband had the lasagna and loved every bite. Save room for one of their delicious desserts. This place is a must if you are craving comfort, great food, great drinks and awesome service. Thanks Again for a lovely evening!!

Date night was awesome. Manny and his staff make you feel like youre in Mamas kitchen! Chicken Piccata with Penne is mouth-watering tasty, and Mama Annas Pizza (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage, salami, ham and bacon) - both were perfectly done. Very highly recommended!

We were very impressed by the food we had for dinner here. Both of our meals (aglio and mushroom alfredo pasta, I believe), along with the bread, were delicious. They were also very gracious, allowing us to place an order pretty close to the kitchen s closing time. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere. We will be back soon!

I did not get to eat here. I was with coworkers meeting up in Huntsville for a work retreat at this restaurant. The restaurant does not allow dogs, understandably. My co-worker who is a 63 man who is a new Canadian from an African coutry, entered the restaurant carrying his small dog. He was told dogs were not allowed, he stated he wanted to let his boss know he had arrived. Staff repeated and emphasized that dogs were not allowed, he again tried to explain that he needed to let his work team and boss know he was there. A staff member then told him he was not smart enough to understand. I will not get into the rest of the details but it was an unpleasant experience for this coworker, and another who interviened, who is a person of colour, who a staff member at the restaurant called a donkey as she was leaving the restaurant. I suggest the staff would not have treated a small elderly lady with her small dog the way my very tall coworker of African origin was treate.

Food and service is always consistent and always exceptional. By far the best place to eat in Huntsville!!

We were visiting Muskoka and came to this place for our lunch.We ordered for the Creamy Chicken Pasta and 12 pizza.Ordered for Caramel Cheesecake for the dessert. Food was very good but the service took some time.I guess that was because of the holidays. Staff was courteous and patient with us and the kids.Will definitely visit again.

I have to rate 4 for the food because the shop ran out of Tiramisu. Daughter recommended this place and the food is absolutely amazing.

My friend recommended this place. We had to wait until after the Family Day long weekend to try it. It was worth it! The server was friendly and welcoming, and helped accommodate my request to make a virgin version of the Bellini. Food was delicious and the portions were perfect. We didnt realize how full we were until we had coffee and some gelato. Overall, an amazing experience, and we will be back!

This was a fantastic experience through and through! From the greeting when we walked in, to the well wishes when we left! Hands down the best Italian food I ever had! We started with the Buratta, and then we had the Mushroom Ravioli (amazing!!) and the Butternut Squash Raviolu (the pecans set it off!) and took Cannoli to go because we were stuffed. Excellent food in taste and quality. Good choices. Complimentary breads were meager but good (flatbread). Service was friendly and attentive. Restaurant layout is almost entirely a single line of tables along the wall opposite a bar. Lighting was warm. General atmosphere was so-so. The only real problem was the water provided was undrinkable. It was city tap water smelling and tasting of chlorine provided in a large clear glass jug. Should not be provided with a meal.

My solo date nights just got an upgrade, thanks to this INCREDIBLE spot. The food, service & my overall experience was top notch and truly some of the best Ive experienced in Muskoka. The staff made me feel right at home and took great care of me. I ordered the Creamy Pesto with Chicken and it was *chefs kiss * Theres even a sweet little market where you can get their epic lasagna/pizza/ ect frozen to take home. The staff was a little racist towards Asian customers, directly assuming that we are not from Canada merely because of our looks. Staff was a lot more friendly towards other customers, particularly those that are of caucasian ethnicity. Food was also not very good and was very average.

Re:comment of poor customer rating from customer who arrived with wife & children. Given the otherwise amazing reviews,one can only speculate or wonder why such remarks come from? What ever the dissatisfaction, this customer should have expressed his issues with Mgmt. Adding insult to injury only makes one look inept.

Recommended to us by another friend, we are so glad we took the time to stop at this locally owned, amazing Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, and the customer service was amazing. We were greeted with friendly service, and then as we waited for our takeout, who we assume is the owner, took the time on a busy Saturday night, to make us feel like we were welcome and appreciated. My daughter was at a hockey tournament, and he even helped us with directions to the next arena! If you are in Huntsville, don t miss this hidden gem! We will be continuing to recommend this fabulous restaurant to our friends just as it was recommended to us. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian choices, we loved both vegetarian dishes we ordered!

Authentic Italian food that will surprise you!

Very basic food. Pizza toppings from canned veggies and the cheese wasnt even melted properly :(

I came with my mom, and my toddler son, we were there for an early dinner, so it wasnt very busy, at first the service seemed good, we got water when we sat down, and then it went down hill, we ordered a pizza, the mushroom ravioli and a kids pasta, the server forgot to put the kids pasta in and also had to come back because she forgot my moms pasta dish. The servers seem to just hangout, they had so much staff and they were all just chatting everything was a wait. Thankfully the food was really good, and the setup with the oil and vinegar is very cute. We were charged for the kids pasta,where I think it should have been compted as we had to wait and my son was really hungry, and had to see our food there. I used to serve, and that would have never been allowed, too much sociallaizing when you have a job to do, I normally tip well, but this time I couldnt, it was very disappointing!

The Italian food here is truly Exceptional! My wife and I stopped here for dinner. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, my wife had the special, roasted chicken with mushroom risotto. Both items were incredible. I learned their pastas and meatballs are made fresh in store. Magnifico! If youre ever in Huntsville, make this your top choice destination.

Such a disappointment. Arrived at 7:10 pm, wasn t aware they closed at 8:00 pm and no one told us they wouldn t be able to serve us. Upon entering an apathetic bartender asked our preference of seating, we chose outside. He said to walk right on back which was clearly the wrong thing to do based on the annoyed servers faces. We were obviously in the way as there were no tables available. We volunteered to wait at the bar. Went back in, waited 10 mins and came back out since there was zero communication with front staff as to why we came back to the bar in the first place. Table still wasn t ready. By close to 7:30 we were seated. Nothing good happened after that point. Simple order 1 calamari app, 3 spaghetti and meatball dinners, 2 drinks. Waitress was rude and condescending in her tone all night. second waitress literally THREW a basket on our table and yelled Facchia bread!! Slowest service ever. Food didn t come until close to 8:30. A whole hour without a single apology or explanation. Finally when it came it was missing our calimari and enough cutlery for all of us to eat. Asked the waitress about the calimari, 5 mins later she comes back to say it was missed and the kitchen is closed now NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY. the table next to us sat down 30 mins after us and got their food at the same time. It s like she missed the whole damn order or something. At this point my spouse was fuming and refused to tip. I felt bad for a second until the two waitress started loudly talking about the lack of tip in front of us. The most unprofessional and lackluster service I ve ever seen. It s a shame because the spaghetti and meatballs were good but the front of staff were such a disaster. Would never be back.

It was very awkward to get a table and once we did, the server (an older, short hair black lady) was obviously annoyed. She would sigh at every request. There was an issue with our drinks and she didn t even apologize. Just lacking care and there s really no room for that in the service business. Such a shame because the food was great, but her service really deterred us from coming back.

Seems like it s always a yellow light here as the service is so slow. Super disappointed in how long it took for them to take our orders and get us the food. All we got were sandwiches as they told us it s the quickest option, but managed to take forever even when doing takeout. All in all would not recommend especially when trying to get a nice, quick meal.

Where do I start? The bread was delicious until someone at my table found hair on their slice of bread; after which we all stopped eating. Then, the food took 1 hour to come to the table. It was a long wait seeing that the restaurant was only 60% full, but we remained patient. Then, the server forgot my order, so the rest of my table ate while I had to wait another 20 mins for mine. I was again patiently waiting for my food. When the server finally came with my food, she gave me a pizza, BUT I ordered a pasta! I just declined the pizza, as by this point I have lost all my appetite. The server did not apologize and just said OK and left with the pizza. In fact we realized that she hasnt even returned to the table to see how we were doing. All in all, I ended up just eating my kids leftover as he felt bad for me and to be honest, I just ate for him. It was very greasy as it was an Alfredo pasta. Others at my table thought their dish was good though. Unfortunately, the service was the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. I would not recommend this place, unless you you want hair with the food, IF you get it at all.

Pro: - Overall the main meals we ordered tasted good. - They had a good selection of food with variety of options - When we arrived the restaurant wasn t full and they were accommodating to a larger group Cons: - after eating a couple of pieces of bread, which is served before the main dishes, hair was found on one of the pieces of bread - it took a long time to get our food. Even though we were a larger group we ordered 6 dishes and 2 drinks - took over an hour to get our food -one of the dishes they recommended didn t come out with the rest of the meals -waited another 20mins for the missing dish and ended up with the incorrect dish - they apologized but never asked how the rest of the dishes were or how we were doing Overall, it s unfortunate the service didn t match the quality of the main dishes. I recognize that mistakes happen - but really felt like there was a lack of acknowledgment and desire to make things right.

This place is great for families. They are so friendly and the food is amazing. Its hard to say which dish was the best; we had pizza, spaghetti Alfredo and gnocchi! All of it was out of the world yummy! Pasta sauces were creamyily delicious! And dint leave without trying the gelato!

Ordered pizza for take out since no tables were available. While we enjoyed the pizza and great crust, overall the food wasn t memorable.

Didn t like the attitude of the staff. Walked in the restaurant nobody helped. Inspite of the place inside they said we don t have availability.

We had a great dinner here this evening! We ordered the puttanesca and fruitti di Mare. Both were delicious, scallops cooked perfectly. Paired delightfully with a glass of seafood & co which was a refreshing wine I havent seen offered anywhere else! Service was super friendly and attentive, overall a great experience!

Arrived at 6:30pm for a table. We had kids and a senior mother (80 years). My wife politely asked can we order before since we had kids. The owner (bald guy) not an employee told my mom 80 year old senior we do not take orders before and we will serve you like civilized people do . My wife asked what pastas do you have for kids , he said rudely said look at the menu . We asked him we will never come back, he said have a good vacation, and said go write whatever you want in the reviews . Never in my life am I stepping and strong encourage people to boycott this rude and arrogant mans restaurant. We went down the street to main st village kitchen and the owner greeted us and treated us ver utter respect. That s the only thing we ask. Maybe we were treated like this because we are south Asian.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Gets the toddler stamp of approval as well.

Weve eaten here two evenings in a row now. Both times we werent disappointed. Plus the great view of the lake and the friendly service, wed love to do it one last time tomorrow before we continue.

After trying a few restaurants in Huntsville, came across this little gem. I had the Gnocchi with Rose sauce (added some shrimp too) and without a doubt, the best pasta dish I have ever had. The sauce was superb and the Gnocchi cooked to perfection. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

We tried to dine here last night on the patio, left our name at 6:30 to be called once a table was ready, its currently 12:10pm the following day and we havent gotten a call. Thanks guys

My family was in Muskoka for a few days and thought we would give this place a try. BIG MISTAKE! It is run down and dingy. They dont take reservations so you have to put your name down on a long list with a minimum of 20-40 minute wait. There was nowhere to sit and wait. I explained to the owner I had a broken leg and it was much too painful for me to stand for such a long time. . He absolutely didnt care, and showed no compassion. He was unpleasant, gruff and unfriendly. He told me to go for a walk and look at the shops. Im in my 70s and my recovery from breaking my leg and ankle has been slow and very difficult. I explained once again to him that my leg was broken and I couldnt walk around. He didnt give a damn. A very kind person who was waiting for her food overheard my conversation with him offered me her seat. I refused at first because I told my husband that I thought we should leave but my husband said we had driven 30 minutes and he didnt want to look for another restaurant since we are not familiar with the restaurants in the area. . I gratefully took her up on her offer for her seat, but when her food came I got up thanked the kind person. The people in the table next to me were eating pizza and it looked awful. I had enough when the nasty owner told me we hadnt moved on the list. He obviously didnt care about my disability and I felt this nothing special restaurant did not deserve our business. I strongly recommend you avoid this restaurant. We drove to Turtle Jacks in Port Carling. It has a beautiful view on the Lake. They were amazing to me and my family. Our waiter was Joey and was outstanding.

Always a favorite stop when visiting. Best Gelato I have ever had. Friendly staff, clean, and has a great location. There is plenty of parking around town.

I don t know what all the hype is about. I ordered the lasagna. It was dry and overcooked like it was reheated a few times. My boyfriend ordered the sausage penne and it also was dry. Looked like it too was reheated or sitting under a hot lamp too long. I was looking forward to eating at this place and so disappointed. The service was ok, nothing special.

Really enjoyed the food (panino) and the service was great. However, it s a small but important thing. This restaurant clearly cares about the appearance, taste and aroma of its excellent food. However, the strongly scented hand soap in the washrooms overpowered the sandwiches eaten by hand. I appreciate it s a local product but its fragrance kind of beats the aroma of the food, literally, hands down. Hope this can be reconsidered. Great place. Update: Hundreds of kilometres and one EnRoute washroom stop later and we re still smelling the hand soap.

I would give six stars for the service if I could! This place has great Italian style food with excellent service making it a wonderful dining experience. The prices are very reasonable and worth every penny.

The place is wonderful Loved the gnocchi, linguini and the lasagna. The show stealer was the caramel cheesecake. Shoutout to Michelle for making the experience even more wonderful. She deserves a Michellein star. Maddy at the desk was helpful. Sit outside it s worth the view.

Gnocchi melts in your mouth, lasagna was impeccable, and the gelato was unforgettable . Top that off with a very friendly knowledgeable outgoing waiter, and you have perfection!!!! Worth the 4 hour drive from Beamsville ! Wheelchair accessibility: Comfortable and accommodating

What a great place. Atmosphere was nice, food was outstanding, service was great. Cannot recommend this place enough. Plan to put your name down and then walk around town a bit because there is always a lineup due to how popular it is. Mushroom ravioli and homemade gnocchi were both phenomenal. My only concern was that one of the pizzas we ordered had olives but they were whole olives with pits, which is unexpected and could lead to someone chomping down on one unknowingly and cracking a tooth.

Simply a must stop here place! Food-Divine! Service was amazing, from reception to end of evening, any of the staff we encountered were great! Was a busy Friday evening and yet we felt like we felt like the only ones there. Cant say enough great things about this gem of a place!

What a little gem! Outdoor patio is so lovely and food is amazing. Still can t stop thinking about the lemon spaghetti dish I ordered. Perfect portion size for lunch too. Bought Annie s Lasagna to take home. It was also outstanding. Can t wait to return!

On Thursday, my parents and myself went to That Place By The Lights for lunch. It was definitely a great choice! I had one of their pizzas which was really tasty!! I hope to come back to this place in the future someday.

My husband and I were here for my early birthday dinner date. The food was Absolutely Amazing. We had the gnocchi and the bruschetta pizza. If we didnt live 4.5 hours away we would definitely go there more often. Thank you!

They have a separate POC section at the back where they insisted on seating us even though there were tables available in the front. Segregated seating in 2023, really appalled by my experience here.

This place has amazing food and amazing service I was very pleased. I had many picky eater accommodations and they still delivered and presented like it was their specialty. It s a little small but I found it s part of its charm. The service is amazing and the view was perfect. Definitely recommend!!!

From the high ratings I expected better. The espresso was excellent. The Primavera pizza was absolutely the WORST I have ever experienced. The crust was rock hard at the edges and even the pizza cutter did not go through. The toppings were meagre. It appeared to be a frozen pizza well past the best before date and definitely not made to order fresh. Our server was excellent but I will not be back..

We ate today on the patio overlooking the lake, it was a wonderful day. The food was very good, the portions were generous, the caramel cheesecake was delicious and the attention from the service was great. I recommend it.

Amazing service and the best Italian food that Ive had in a very long time! We had the featured pasta (butternut squash ravioli), mushroom ravioli, and gelato sampler. Everything was tasty, and the patio seating on a warm evening was the perfect way to wrap up the Huntsville experience.

The spaghetti and meatballs dish is huge. If you ask for a hot sauce they might bring you the homemade version which is very clean tasting and also very hot. You get a basket of hot freshly baked pita bread that goes by a different name and is to kill for. Had a Greek salad too and the dressing was really good with a spice I couldnt identify. Good fair wine selection too. Dietary restrictions: Glen free pasta for all dishes

What a cozy spot for a dinner in! We had mushroom ravioli and creamy pesto for the quantity is exorbitant and the taste is fantastic. Their fresh bread was soul-warming. The gelato array was great as well and all made in house. Must try if you are in the area.

Dinner here is one of the highlights of our annual trip. Everyone is so friendly. The food is great. I love the lasagna so much it makes me wish I had a Nonna.

Such a quaint little restaurant nestled on the Main Street! We thoroughly enjoyed everything - the calamari, Ceasar salad, Spaghetti and Meatballs and the pasta special of spaghetti in butter with caramelized onions and prosciutto - all delectable! As was the trio of gelato! The service was top-notch - Manny, Carson and Carlita all deserve big kudos for offering a very homey and delicious dining experience! Oh and we brought home a homemade lasagna for another time! We will be back!

Little Place is somewhere that I frequent! This place has amazing food, Ive never had a bad thing, their patio in the Summer is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly & are always awesome. It is one of my top places to eat in Huntsville!

Our first and last time dining at the Little Place by the Lights. We ordered two pizzas and two pastas and a drink. Our server was very kind but unfortunately we had a negative experience overall. The owner and an elderly woman working there were both rude to my wife and young children. Giving us terrible looks and saying things under their breaths. As a business owner myself, I was blown away at the unprofessionalism. I can go on and on but would rather stay away from this place and not let their negativity ruin a beautiful day. Do better. Be better.

If you have children and are looking for a family friendly restaurant to have a nice meal in a nice environment, please avoid this place. I came here to have lunch with my family. One of the servers kept staring at my children. My son started singing Christmas songs and she came up to us and said WOW and she made a dissapointed face and left. I asked her if there was a problem and she said no. However, the owner came back to our table and raised his voice asking if there was a problem with us. Children can be loud at times, but by no means my children were loud enough to disrupt/ disturb anyone having their meal at the time. No one else really minded or even heard them. What an unfortunate experience. As a woman married to an Italian, I know that their culture is filled with good food and kind people and here we experienced none.

This place is great. Went there Saturday, December 16th in the evening. Food was delicious, service was great even when the restaurant was full, clean restaurant and super friendly staff. For sure would come back when Im back in Huntsville
