Baumhowers has been our favorite restaurant for years. We eat there multiple times a week either at work lunch in huntsville, Tuscaloosa after every home bama game or order party trays for most away games but unfortunately service has gone down like everywhere else over the years but after we drove 45 min to have my sons birthday dinner and being told they are too busy to sing happy birthday to him after singing to a table a few over and while multiple employees are standing around on cell phones and definitely wasnt a busy night! Not a big deal but the principal of it is garbage! il be too busy to spend my money ar baumhowers next time.

I used to come here regularly, but not anymore. My server was some guy, didnt say his name, didnt smile (until he was near the bar). He wasnt horrible, just not in the right job as far as being personable. His main sentence was Is it good? The excuse he gave was he was sick. I was wondering why he was bringing my food after he said that. The food was good. It was okay atmosphere for a sports bar. I was glad to have the same thing on tv, so my daughter and I could talk about what was on. If I ever come in again, I wont be letting him wait on me. I used to be a server and a smile and a bit of friendly conversation go a long way in getting a better tip. Kid-friendliness: Server didnt even acknowledge my child, except asking what do you want.

Ordered via Door dash several times. Hamburgers and fries usually like barely warm, that maybe deliverys fault. I live less than a mile away. But , still not impressed with taste overall. Probably wont order again any time soon.

We are only in Tuscaloosa every couple of years for a Bama game, but we ALWAYS eat here@ This weekend we were there and the waitress thought our food was taking a little long (we didnt....they were packed!) so she discounted our meal. WHAT?!?! Needless to say, she and the other waitstaff got it back tripped in tip. They were great and so was the Blackberry Cobbler!!

The Royal rooster chicken sandwich is amazing. I recommend Jamaican jerk and extra hot! Theyre curly fries are also excellent.

My husband worked here over 16 years ago and when we came back to visit he wanted me to try it. I must say the food was excellent. The service was good. I ordered the Jerk Jamaican Chicken with mango salsa on the side. Instead of the rice that comes with it, I ordered mashed potatoes and left off the black beans. My husband ordered the Char-grilled Black & White Chicken with the white bbq sauce in which I poured some over my Jamaican Jerk and OMG! It was literally like a party in my mouth! I loved it! Will definitely recommend to my family and friends. We also ordered to go plates of lemon pepper wings and burger with fries delicious!

Drove an hour and half for the AL vs TN game so we would not get booed closer to home for being Bama fans. Picked this place and could not be happier with the decision! Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, great drinks. We were seated quickly and our food arrived so fast (or maybe our waitress was just on top of her game). Best of all was our waitress Desiree. I really hope I spell your name correctly because you are the heart of the operation. You graciously allowed us to camp out in your section for the game and gave the highest level of service possible. She exuded kindness and politeness, while being funny and personable. Continuously checking up with us, she never missed a beat. We were there for so long and you never seemed bothered by us, truly a testament to your patience as a person. I wish every waitress I encountered gave me even half the level of service you gave us. You made our experience a terrific time.

As time goes on, the quality keeps dropping. I ve never had such tasteless, overcooked enough to piss you off chicken wings, the broccoli managed to drop in quality over a couple of weeks, and you can t even fill sauce containers fully. Get your shit together.

This is the first and last time we are going to order here! Were so thrilled to read all the reviews on your website. So we decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be a disappointing experience! My assistant went to pick up our food. When she came in, she didnt know where to go to because there were no signs on where to pick up orders. So she asked one of the ladies at front and she seems aggravated that she approached her. Second, we got our order with the impression that everything is good and complete ( ex:Ranch dip). We left cause we are on a time crunch for work. We got to work only to find out that we do not have any dipping sauce at all for the wings. One of the flavors that we ordered is supposedly BBQ but it turned out to be Buffalo flavor. So I called the store to inform them and Ms.SHAWNA answered the phone in a unprofessional manner. I told her the issue however she didnt even apologize for it, instead she rudely hang up the phone! (UNPROFESSIONAL) so I called back and I asked for manager. Mr. Xavier acknowledged the issue and apologies for it. Although, I appreciate his effort, but the front end person that I spoke to first AKA SHOANNA already left a bad taste in my mouth. This is the last time Im gonna spend my money and time to your business. Very poor customer service!!!

Ali was my server and she was the best! She constantly checked in to make sure I was doing well, and had great hospitality and manners. I look for her anytime I come in now! Their manager Xavier was very nice and checked in on me as well. I was very pleased with my visit and will recommend.

I used to frequent here often . The bartenders will not check on you often if you arent a regular. Prices dont match the menu . Food is great and good place to watch a football game .

The atmosphere, food and service is excellent. My only issue is when we choose to get takeout, We always order a side salad or larger to go. 100% Of the time they put the salad in the same bag with the hot food. Often between the two hot food items. We have gotten so used to it. We just get our order and immediately pull the salad out. This is a post in 100% support of the restaurant. This is just an issue that needs to be addressed by management.

Burgers were great. They will cook to order. Wings were a big hit with the table. It was noisy, but not overly loud for a busy restaurant. We had a table with 6 and were able to converse without shouting. We would definitely come again when in this area. The fries we all got were like tiny, broken pieces and a bit disappointing, everyone agreed the fries needed improvement. I will try a different side next time.

I am rarely here and have any issues with the food or service. Its definitely on my regular list and the only place I go for wings.

Me and my family were busy Sunday and unfortunately had a late dinner. We have never been to this location and decided to give it a try as they close at 10..(according to the Google search) .. We got there at about 9:30 we are a group of 5.. we ordered bone in and boneless wings, and fried shrimp tossed in sauce. The cole slaw was dry, the shrimp were not saucy( only a few), and the curly fries were undercooked. .. we felt very rushed as the waiter would literally throw things on the table in a rush. It took everything in me not to spazz as I m not your dog. Yet and still we tipped. (And we love to tip soo he really missed out . ) Needless to say, it will be a while before we try again We believe in second chances We know how there can be bad apples in the bunch..

Great place to eat and even just hang out with friends. Service with a smile and very prompt. The burger (the OMG) was cooked to perfection. Parking: A large parking lot in the rear of the building. Kid-friendliness: I would definitely bring my kids to this establishment. It felt like kids of all ages would be just fine. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Waited an hour to be seat when tables open. Had lrg group that signed in after us be seated first. Employees pointed at us and laughed. Had 2 small children that were hungry and they said we couldn t sit at our table til server got drinks for other group- 11 minutes and still haven t been seated. Managers are part of problem. Going to take more videos of food when we get it and service to share with corporate. *We got seated, Angelo, our waiter came to us full of energy and took our order. Got our food and it was perfect, everyone s food was cooked just as requested. Angelo kept our drinks filled and brought our spirits up for a true game changer in the atmosphere. We will be returning to give it another go. Hopefully, the beginning of our experience isn t the norm . Angelo, you rock for bringing out our babies fort asap, if you re seeing this- YOU made the difference! Kid-friendliness: Waited almost an hour and they offered nothing to the kids. No coloring books, snacks drink. Very bad service from management to staff.

Neeley and I were running errands Saturday morning (might have been only the second Saturday I ve been home in two months) and we stopped by Baumhowers for lunch I can t remember what I ate the last, and maybe only, time I d been (pre-Covid) but I definitely remembered what I ate this time! The wings were so good! They make their own mozzarella for the fried mozzarella bites and their gooey fries were just that, GOOEY! Dylan (Go Dawgs!) and Caroline (?) took great care of us! I m kinda glad they aren t closer and that Neeley doesn t like driving that far usually because I d be there more often!

Yesterday was my first time ordering from here and I must admit, I was pretty disappointed. I requested my wings to be extra crisp and the skin was rubbery. My fries were hard and cold. Perhaps thats why I was given extra, which was also hard and cold. So, when I walked in, at advised a hostess (?) that I placed an online order. I had to wait for someone else to get it but it was sitting on the counter behind the desk. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It wasnt worth the amount I paid for my meal.

Food was excellent, service was average (a plate left on the table when I was seated, was dirty with either leftover food, or it wasnt cleaned properly). So the attention to detail is circumspect.

We had a bad experience at the Baumhowers Victory Grill in Huntsville, Al tonight (Friday 8/16/24). We have patroned this location many times (and each time, our ticket is $100 at least - sometimes as often as 1 or 2 times a week) and have had good experiences so we decided to come tonight for my nephews 32 birthday! Yes, we had a large group - 16 people - and yes, we understand that the restaurant is not set up for such a large group but anything can be worked out. We had one of our party arrived at 4:15 p.m. to get a table prior to the rest of our party that was arriving between 5 pm. and 5:30 p.m. At that time, there were plenty of large tables as the restaurant was fairly empty before the dinner rush. She was not seated at a table and was made to wait in the hot waiting area. At 5 p.m. she was told that they were waiting on a table to become available. Our family began arriving and was made to wait for 2.5 hours for table. (This was not acceptable as we have 2 family members currently battling cancer and we had two young children -4 years old and 1.5 years old) We continued to patiently wait but many other parties were seated prior to our group. Each time we checked on the our wait time / table availability, we were told they were waiting on a table to come available. We were never offered multiple tables in proximity to each other or any solution. After waiting 2.5 hours - my son, Ryan Carr, spoke to Garrett Sayre (tall white male) about why other people were continuing to be sat ahead of our group and that we had been waiting for two hours. Garrett could not give us a time frame for a table and offered to seat our group but he would have to spread us out around the restaurant (not close together). Garrett also said that he could not make patrons leave. My son stated he understood that but that didnt make it right that he was sitting other parties ahead of our group and making us wait...Garrett was discriminating against us for having a large group. I guess he didnt realized that our group would be spending AT LEAST $400 - $500 before tip. He made no attempt to accommodate our group. During our 2.5 hour wait we saw two other large groups that were also put off and not seated or accommodated in anyway. Garrett was making the smaller groups the priority and was not attempting to prepare a table for our group or the other two large groups . He even went as far as to say that he could not hold tables close together so our group could sit together or near each other. At this point, we were ready to take our business elsewhere. Garrett was not willing to help or make any attempt to seat our group - apparently another large group with special needs persons was also having the same issue with seating. Before leaving the restaurant since we had already been waiting so long, my mother found the manager, Xavier Crawley, and told him of our experience and situation. He was very kind and quickly apologized and asked for us to please let him see what he could do to get us served. Xavier had us a table all together and sat with in about 10 minutes. He explained he did not know what was going on and that he was extremely sorry for the issue. He checked on our group multiple times and made sure the rest of our night was great! We also had a super star server named - Charlotte. She was fantastic and very attentive to anything we needed, making sure our orders were correct, drinks filled / refilled all with a smile on her face! Thanks to Charlotte and Xavier a bad start turned around. I am still extremely dissatisfied with the wait how we were pushed to the back burner and deemed as unimportant as the smaller groups by Garrett Sayre and the other hosts / hostesses (which I am sure was not their fault but directed by Garrett). Our experience with the kitchen, server and general manager were great! 5 STARS but our experience with wait time and simply being seated was a negative 5 stars! The discrimination against us for having a large group was uncalled for and unacceptable!

I am giving the one star because of my customer service experience. We came all the way from Florida to visit this state. Our waitress was Sara S. We didn t like the way she attended us, very rude, never offered drink refills, took forever to pay our bill. Manager, you should train her better. Not a pleasant experience. No complaints on food.

I did not have the legendary experience that they wish all guests to have... Ordered the bam bam shrimp, I should have checked the other reviews. The shrimp was clearly frozen. It gave off a very fishy odor I could smell before I even opened the box. The shrimp was very chewy and rubbery, they left the tails on (which is fine I guess), and the breading was soggy. I would have left 2 stars because my boyfriend really liked his chicken sandwich and the fried pickles were good. But the shrimp tacos are just too irredeemable. I wouldnt be surprised if I was sick tomorrow.

Really nice restaurant. My 8 year old asked to return before we even left. They had a great kids menu, had crayons, and a little cup of dry fruit loops for a snack. He really liked that part. Our waitress, Alberta, was kind and attentive. She made sure we had what we needed and checked in throughout our meal. The food was enjoyed by everyone. The triple play cheese fries were a hit. Its definitely a must try if youre in the area. Bonus that it stays open a little later than some other places. What can I say. the food is always delicious!! Today we had sn exceptional waiter named Aaron. We were on the porch too noisy inside for me and AARON was so polite and efficient!! Two of my children vwirked at WINGS on Airport Road. They loved their job there. Both ate very successful professionals. I think they had good supervision at WINGS!!

Every visit has been excellent! The place is inviting and it has a calm presence to it I cannot explain! Ali, who I constantly request has always gone above and beyond for me since I ve met her. One of the kindest souls and knows what my order is without me having to tell her. Thank you Ali for your tremendous customer service and excellence as a server! Clearly a bar. Husband had boneless wings and fries. Both were great he really like the sauce and ranch. I had the Big Easy Chicken. Supposed to be creole.... thats the furtherest from creole. Not sure what the shrimp was made of but shrimp nor broccoli is supposed be mushy. I ordered it, I ate and I paid for the meal. Wasnt horrible, but wasnt good either. The hostesses were ok. The waitress was nice at first however the hostess kept setting people in here area, and she was clearly very busy but tried her best with every table. We may go back but its gonna be a while and will only order burgers or wings.

2nd time coming here. Both times my food came out before my drink did. I dont know about you but I like to drink something before my food comes. Fires were not cooked all the way. Had to ask for celery and they brought the grossest kind with lettuce on it even. Waitress was sarcastically rude. Like she tried to make me feel bad for not wanting my drink when she took too long to bring it to me. Ive never had a experience this bad honestly. I will not give a 3rd chance. The only thing we like is the popcorn at the door.

Dined in on a Wednesday evening, place was not packed & so sitting was swift. Waiter was very polite & offered what he suggested was a spicy sauce XHot, which it really wasnt. Wings were good & the fries were ok. I was hoping they had some mango habanero flavor or something similar but theyre selection was minimal. The shrimp tacos were not good. They came on a white tasteless flour tortillas. I asked if they had corn tortillas but they did not.

We were seated and no one waited on us. Got up and left after 15 minutes

A hustle and bustle sports bar/restaurant. I was promptly greeted and seated. I was almost tackled by some servers who promptly threw a football at my head. Heather was there to take my order. I got a small order of hot lips (thats what she said). Heather recommended the sweet Thai chili and it didnt disappoint. Shes awesome and deserves a raise, thank you for a good relaxing dinner. If Im ever in town again Ill stop by. Televisions were in with various baseball and softball and the energy was good. A fun atmosphere with a good variety of food and drink. A nice bar area too. Like the Terminator Ill be back!

We have frequented Baumhowers for years. Its always my sons choice for his birthday. This year we have a party of 8 and were unable to add ourselves to the wait list online, as it will only allow you to add a party of 6. It says for larger parties to call the restaurant. I called earlier today and they asked me to call back after 4pm when the next shift comes on. I called back and was told that they could not add us to the wait list as they do not take reservations and we would need to send someone early to the restaurant. The point of adding our name to the wait list is so we are not waiting for an extended time with a 4 year old. So since they will not l manually add us to their wait list for a party of 8. We will be going elsewhere. Its probably for the best because the food and service were subpar on our last visit.

Great good and service was great. Our server is the guy from Dothan, cant remember his name, but he was a great guy. The place can be a bit loud sometimes is its only drawback, but that can be expected being that its a sports bar.

I was actually very surprised with the food here. Ive eaten at this chain before and was disappointed but this location was spot on. I was first discouraged that there was a wait for lunch on a Thursday. The service was excellent, the wings and frys were hot and had excellent flavor. My only complaint would be the mens bathroom was in a bit of disarray. Ill return to try the burgers next, the table next to me ordered the hangover burger and it really looked good.

This place is always good. They are well know for their wings. They also have good burgers as well. Its a sports type restaurant with a large bar. Staff has always been great. ZERO complaints so far. Very very busy but worth the wait. Parking: Very large parking lot but can get full especially at lunch and between 4-7pm

Chicken wings were over fried to the point that the meat was like jerky.

Service was slow, food was average. The dining room was incredibly loud. The acoustics are terrible, building seems more like a warehouse. I could barely hear my friend that was sitting next to me.

Went there tonight waiter was really nice wings were really good and fries shout out to the cooks great job!!!!!!! Went there after church today everything was wonderful the host and my waiter were fantastic I had the honey barbecue wings with cheese fries

Mrs. Claire is an absolute sweetheart she was fast kind and funny. Will be going back again
