Beautiful restaurant!! Our waitress Aliyah was phenomenal. She is friendly, fast and so sweet! She deserves a raise

Did not even get any food.

Let s be honest folks, there s zero way this place is farm to table, locally sourced and serving frozen French fries and burgers that can ONLY BE COOKED WELL DONE??! What in the world.

Me and my wife decided to eat here Sunday evening. The service was outstanding, the decor was outstanding, the food was absolute garbage that I wouldnt even feed to my dog. You were out of rolls, out of ice cream to make desserts, the roasted chicken was burnt to a crisp, and i get having crispy capers...but these were burnt caper dust things that tasted terrible. Our server said, you had a new chef in training. This experience was by far the worst weve ever had in Huntsville. If Im paying $77 dollars for one entree, one app and one dessert...it better be top notch. This wasnt by a mile, have more pride in the food you serve.

Long wait. Server got my order wrong. Expensive for the product. Expected better service, food and atmosphere for the price. Needs serious improvement or it will not last. Food

I had high hopes but had a few big let downs. Both of my dishes were missing ingredients. I got a grilled butternut squash dish that in all fairness was delicious, but it was missing a tomato gelee. The poblano puree was spectacular though and saved the dish. I got the rum butter cake it was rough. They subbed a bourbon Caramel sauce for generic chocolate. It was supposed to have a pear apple fosters on it and at best they were spiced apples under ice cream. The cake was also very dense in the middle and dry and crumbly out the outside. I mentioned it to my server and she just said sometimes they make changes. Overall, it spoiled a decent meal.

Collins and Emma did a great a great job not only serving me, but keeping up with the crowd. Appreciate you both!!

Best scallops Ive ever had.

I just ate there yesterday. I ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, the chicken entree and a bourbon cake dessert. Everything was way overcooked and dry. The Brussels sprouts were burnt, the chicken was dry and the skin was thick, the pimento cheese biscuits were dry, and the bourbon cake was dry and crumbly. I was very disappointed especially since the place isn t cheap. Service and atmosphere was excellent though.

Jo gave me such great service and even recommended a fun drink for me to try that I didn t see. This is the over the garden wall with mezcal, citrus, celery bitters, and tomato syrup. A fun cocktail with a lot of depth. 10/10 will be coming back

Food was bland and not seasoned. I would expect better with the price point per dish. Wait staff was rude at times. There seemed to be an argument between management and staff while we were there. Half of the items on the menu we ordered werent available during our visit with some like the soup having been discontinued for weeks but still on the seasonal menu. Would recommend avoiding this place.

I think it was pretty pricey and not enough food options. Lots of drinks not enough dishes. What I bought tasted pretty mediocre. It was like $50 for a piece of salmon and steam vegetables.

Best burger I have had in a long while. Fries are excellent. Service remarkable. My fresh greens are on point. Love the clean local eats, skip the processed foods. Eat local.

Well, Im not sure what happened :/. The first time we came here we were blown away by everything and raved to everyone about the experience. The second time we visited was, unfortunately, probably also the last time. Everything had gone downhill: *LIQUOR TAXES were a shocking surprise on the second visit, especially considering how bad the drinks were. While the cocktails were advertised at $15-$17 on the menu, the taxes made them come out to be about $20-$22 each. CO/OP needs to change the menu to reflect the price WITH the liquor taxes. That would certainly be more honest and helpful. *COCKTAILS were not good (either prepared with incorrect proportions or just bad recipes to begin with) *FOOD was just okay. The portions were insanely small especially considering the price. Two of us ordered the scallops, and each plate had 4 small (less than 2 diameter) scallops and a little nest of pasta. The other person ordered steak again because it was so good the first time, but it too was just eh this go-round. *SERVICE was okay. The staff was less attentive (but definitely not busier), but the worst part was that they couldnt be bothered with bread service (which was automatic and complimentary last time). In summary, were obviously pretty disappointed on many levels. *Obviously, this just our experience. This review is meant for subjective consideration.

Revising after last experience in April 2024. Just havent kept up the food or service. Original review: I know....an Embassy Suites hotel with restaurant downstairs is typical.....but seriously, one of the best dining experiences in Huntsville (on 10/3/23). The food was exceptional. I will absolutely be back. A good friend suggested we have our monthly happy hour there and I was very impressed. Didnt know the wonderful thing they had going here over the last year.

Ordered shrimp & grits: grits were undercooked and sauce is sweet. Did Not like it! Service was excellent!!

I arrived at the restaurant at 5PM for dinner. The sign said to check with the bartender to be seated. There was a large party of 16 people at the bar. They were all waiting for the bartender to get drinks and looking for a bartender. Someone finally came out from the kitchen and said to sit anywhere. Once seated five different people told me that someone else would be my server. I told the server about my allergies. She said she needed to go and check with the Chef. She came back and said that because the restaurant was slammed the Chef could not check to see about my allergies (fish, shellfish, and seaweed). I was the only one in the restaurant besides the group at the bar. She said asked which Items I was interested in and she would go and check with the Chef. I informed her that many dairy products contain Carrageenan (red seaweed). She went to check on the items that I was interested in having for dinner. The server came back and said that the Chef told her there are a couple of dozen creams in the kitchen and the Chef was too busy to check and see if there is an carrageenan in their dairy products so I was told to only look at items on the menu that don t contain dairy. Do to the lack of concern and care about checking ingredients for allergies I did not feel that my health and safety were of any concern from the staff at the CO/OP Community Table + Bar it was best to just leave without dining at the restaurant. Dietary restrictions: This restaurant does not care about dietary restrictions they are too busy to check their menu items for dietary restrictions.

I spend a lot of time here when traveling for work but this last time has me wondering if I will continue staying here. I always order a double shot of whistle pig 10 year (not cheap) and this time the lady told me the bar was closing that she would make me a drink where I can take it to my room. I get back to the room and notice some type of bug floating just beneath the ice. Very disappointed due to the amount of money that I ve spent here

Service was great but GOOD LORD the live music is deafening. You can t talk to anyone around you let alone know what your waiter/waitress is asking you. Maybe the live music needs to be out in the hotel?

Visited the restaurant with another 7 friends for dinner and drinks. It was by far the worst service any of us ever experienced. Besides taking about 40 minutes to take the first order(appetizers and drinks) it also took an average of 30 minutes to receive each drink. Two of the drinks from the table were absolutely undrinkable and nothing was done about it. One of the people received her dinner plate 2h after she ordered - after everyone else had already finished their food, their desserts and drinks - the lady waitress never even apologized for the delay and actually said the woman should have ordered something else instead. To automatically put a 20% gratuity in our bill was outrageous and nobody from the group felt they wanted nor should pay that much for such horrible service. Atmosphere and live music was good and food wasn t bad but none of us is coming back. We arrived at 6:45pm and received our first drinks by 7:30pm, food came to the table (besides that one plate) around 8:30pm. Extremely disappointed!

The food was fantastic, especially the french toast with fried chicken! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was upscale yet relaxing. We will definitely be back to try the lunch and dinner menus!

I forget her name, but our server was fantastic. Very attentive and so personable. I thought the food was ok, but definitely not worth the price. I had the shrimp and grits, and I don t recommend. The gravy really killed the dish in my opinion. Chicken and dumplings had a wonderful flavor, but there were only a couple dumplings that were actually gnocchi. The different take on chicken and dumplings just didn t do it for me. We had the crawfish dip too and it was gross. Specialty drinks on their menu were WEAK for the price and 99% ice.

Yall. Okay, first, I live in New Orleans, which means I have the best food in the world in my backyard. That means I am crazy hard to please with food and nearly impossible to impress. So please understand how meaningful it is when I say this restaurant is AMAZING. Every single dish was extraordinary, beautifully plated and served, very reasonably priced, and our server Taylor was knowledgeable, quick, and super pro. He really made the meal top notch with his recommendations, help with getting me a pescetarian substituiton, and expert ability to describe the dishes. I am both pleased AND impressed. 100% will be back! Dietary restrictions: Our server Taylor was fantastic about considering my dietary restrictions. He kept them in mind and made a substituon for me to meet my pescetarian diet.

This restaurant is amazing. Live music Thursday thru Saturday. Food is amazing the filet is the best, scallops amazing, crafted cocktails with homemade shrub amazing.

Best kept secret in Huntsville. Amazing food, great menu, amazing service. Ask for Ward. The shrimp and grits was really good. Unique sauce. The poutine is indulgent, and the kiddos enjoyed their meals as well. Highly recommend.

We didnt eat but the drinks were great just all top shelf, so be prepared to pay for that.

The food was good but the service was terrible. Not enough staff for a rainy Saturday afternoon however the staff that waited on us were nice. One large group of 16 plus only 4 tables of 4 were there to eat. We waited an hour for our food.

I was ignored. I was sat at a table, given a glass of water and no one ever came back to take my order. 20 minutes I waited until I just gave up

Had a great dinner on a Friday night with my wife. I enjoyed the burger and my wife had the chicken and dumplings. The burger was good but not dynamite (7.2), but I would order it again if I was in a burger mood. The chicken and dumplings were not worth what the nearly 30$. I would rate them about a 6.0, good but not great. The ceasar salad was pretty enjoyable, probably one of the better ones Ive had in this area. Our waitress was really nice and took care of us very well. The bourbon cake was not bad but would have been better with real vanilla bean ice cream and a warm/hot cake instead of room temp or whatever it was. There was also a live musician playing guitar and singing which was nice. Other than paper straws in the cocktails (ughhh) we enjoyed the evening. P.S. those arent large pee bottles at the entrance, its bourbon on display in 5 gallon glass containers that look like piss in bottles. And yes they are already aware of that fact.

This morning we went to CO/OP for the second time and were blown away AGAIN. First the best part for us is the service, we had the same waitress Lori both times and she was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Not to mention she saw that it was my wife s birthday and made a point to celebrate her while we were eating in a super special way! On top of this the food is delicious, it reminds me of an elevated home cooked meal. The food sourcing is thoughtful and the dishes are prepared very well, the 2 biggest hits for us were the Roasted Chicken and Dumplings and the French Toast today. It s been 2 great experiences and we will be back many times this year!

Guy playing guitar and singing was pretty good , however it was so loud you could barely have a conversation. Food was passable, definitely not worth the money.Would not go there again.

We made a pit stop here at the bar while downtown, and had a great experience with the bartender and people around us. Great vibe, good selection, unique concept, and all around fun experience!

Casual meal with the guys. We focused on the drinks and appetizers. Good selection at the bar and we were able to try some new things. Great salad, but the Tate Farms Squash soup - Wow! - it was exceptional with creamy layers of flavor. The nuts and garnish on top were appreciated as well. My Son in law said the burger was also great. Restaurant space is good as well. Not too loud like so many other places. Live music on Friday was a nice touch as well. Service was friendly and attentive. Plan to go back and try the full meal. Parking: The Embassy now controls parking at the hotel. I could never get the gate to come up - had to have the front desk open the gate for me. May want to find alternative parking nearby and walk to the restaurant - especially if the weather is good.

We have been for both dinner and brunch. The food has been nice both times. The service has been great. Taylor was a great server this visit.

Came here for brunch a few weeks ago and it was excellent. I had the white lily buttermilk buiscuit with fried chicken and conecuh sausage gravy and my wife had the challa French toast with chicken and both were very good. Hanna the host was also outstanding - she got us in tonight last minute for a few drinks and dessert. Highly recommended!!

The decor and service was fantastic. This is a very nice, new restaurant. We started with the smoked wings, which were good but they seemed fried vs. smoked. My wife had the chicken and dumplings, which is basically a half chicken on top of some sauce and gnocchi. She liked it and said it had good flavor but needed more sauce and gnocchi. I had the prime New York strip and at first I thought the steak was strange and maybe even frozen. Turns out it is grass fed beef, which has a different color and texture than grain fed beef. This should be noted on the menu. I wouldn t get it again. Overall, it s a nice restaurant but we probably won t be back.

The food was heavenly! I had the mussels appetizer and it was a good I wanted to drink all the sauce. The scallops entree melted in my mouth! The Fall Crème Brûlée desert was a great finish to a wonderful meal! Kudos to EC Luke!

From our wonderful mixologist, Christine, to the marvelous Chef Ben, the evening could not have been more enjoyable. The bar was our relaxation point of the day and we could not have been more satisfied with everything. Atmosphere inside of a hotel is not always the best for a restaurant/bar, but this is not your average place. The P.E.I. (pronounced Pee-Eye for those not from the Northeast) were, holy cow, amazing. The sauce was, well lets just say, can we get one more of those, please? Thanks for a wonderful evening, Christine and Chef! Well done and see you next time. BTW - this place is close enough (next) to Von Braun that we think this will be our before the show stop from now on! Parking: Across the street for hotel guests and since we were going to the restaurant figured that was for us too. No problems at all and a quick walk across the street.

Had an amazing time dining at the co op! Burger was amazing along with the beet salad. Collins took excellent care of me, had an expansive knowledge of cocktails, and made me feel welcome like I was right at home. I had the one bad apple and it was very tasty. I will be returning. It is definitely a hidden gem of downtown Huntsville.

Great burger. Great service. Great musician who wasn t too loud, so we could still talk and enjoy the food.

The squash soup was velvety and full of flavor. The scallops were buttery and perfectly cooked. The blood orange cocktail was delicious. Although the food was good, the prices were probably too high based on the quality of the ingredients. We spent $250 for our family of 3.

Service was barely adequate. Quade was not well trained to provide a fine dining experience. The food presentation was very nice but my $28 chicken was dry and hard to swallow. I order the catfish dip which was cross-contaminated with shrimp. I had an allergic reaction but didnt put me into an anaphylactic shock that eating a shrimp would. You would think a place like this would take more care. They were out of 2 of the 4 things we initially ordered. My wifes shrimp and grits were just too spicy, and the waiter said other customers made the same complaint as well that night. I could not find any painted handicapped parking spots. The parking lot gates were locked open when we arrived so I did not get a parking ticket. Of course, the gates were down when I went to leave, and couldnt get out. Going out to dinner shouldnt be like this, especially for a hundred-dollar meal. Now that I have gone once, I probably would never choose to go back. Too many easier, better, less expensive places to go in Huntsville than this. The owner commented after the original post that he wanted to make it right. I reached out to discuss it but hes never returned my message and he now has my email and phone number. So his idea of making it right was to just make everyone think he cared when actually could care less. I will never go back to this place.

We had an amazing experience here on a busy Friday night! We sat at the bar, and Collins took care of us all night. We had 2 drinks each (Funky Broadway cocktail is great), the brussels app (good mix of sweet and spicy), and a burger and the scallop entree. I was impressed with the sear on the scallops. Even though they were busy, Collins was very attentive which we greatly appreciated. Will be back for brunch!

Absolutely divine. Get the Gulf shrimp and grits and The NY strip. Taylor our server was amazing. The entrees take awhile but all good things to those who wait.

Go here. Period. This restaurant has great ratings but when I pulled up and realized it was inside an hotel, I was a little concerned. No need. The decor is fancy casual, the service very good ..and holy shrimp and grits, the food! Seriously, catfish dip? This is why you try things that they dont have where you live. Yum. The freaking fluffiness of the grits and the absolutely perfect heat in the brown sauce on the shrimp - divine. I dont usually go for the desert upsell but the server was so concerned that I was going to miss something, I did it. Ok, um Mr. Butter Bourbon cake, you need to get out of my head. This is starting to be inappropriate. Go on with your bad self, chef whoever you are.

We found this restaurant via a Google search, and were glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were very good. I highly recommend sitting at the bar; Collins took very good care of us, and she made a tasty boulevardier. Thanks! P.S. the restaurant is located inside the Embassy Suites Hotel, which caught us off guard, but you dont have to be a guest to dine there, and parking is easy. Its totally worth it! Parking: The parking lot is just past the entrance of the hotel.

Had a great meal today. I sat at the bar as the restaurant was busy. Our Bartender Amanda was unbeknownst to me more busy than the waitresses. She was calm and collected and never showed any panic. Great job and service under tremendous volume and pressure. The catfish o boy was also delivered hot and it was delicious!

We made a reservation and were glad we did as it was busy on this Friday night as there was a convention at the hotel. The service was good considering how busy it was. We were checked on and helped by multiple staff. The drinks were good, the food was good. It was their own twist on classic drinks and Southern dishes. The dessert was our favorite! We got the Smore and added the Butter Brickle ice cream. The Smore was rich but so well balanced and the ice cream was AMAZING! It was sweet, light and not too filling. Definitely a place to try in Huntsville! Great for a date night and we will be back to try brunch.

What a great dining experience. The food was exceptional, as was the service. I appreciate that the menu is seasonal and we just caught the end of the winter menu before they start spring. Had to be one of my favorite dinners in recent memory.

I went to CO/OP with a small group. We all enjoyed our meals and the dessert was amazing. I did find the chicken and dumplings a little salty for my taste but desert more than made up for it. I got the butter bourbon cake and it s one of the best desserts I ve had. Our server Amy really made the evening fantastic. She was spot on with her recommendations and didn t miss a beat with our very dynamic group. She was quick, funny, very helpful, and kept a watchful eye on drinks and anything else we may need.

The bartenders Collins and Christina know their stuff. I ordered some apparently obscure stuff without a blink of an eye. The food was tasty. Looking to go back to try some more.

The place was beautiful and staff were very nice! The barbecue Shrimp appetizer was extremely fishy tasting to to point you had to douse it in lemon juice to cover the fishiness but then it took away the other flavors. The NY Strip was supposed to be on top a creamed kale and potatoes. It was more like over steamed kale and potatoes. Definitely not worth the $55.

Great food! The plate with eggs, sausage, hashbrown casserole, and biscuits with butter and preserves was divine! And try the house made hot sauce, its really good.

Collins and Christine were awesome bartenders, very helpful on food and drinks suggestions and very friendly. The food is delicious - second time for us and we tried all new things with one exception - the smores dessert is amazing and we will get it every time. Great place, great food, great atmosphere.

This hidden gem! Inside the Embassy Suites hotel this casual little place making fantastic foods. Started with PEI Mussels. The broth is superb! To get the perfect bite, soak up the broth with the toasted baguette, add a mussel, smoked blistered tomato or chiles and a piece of the locally sourced andouille sausage. Then I had the Scallops and cauliflower risotto. The Scallops were seared perfectly and placed on top of the risotto. Not sure how they did it, but the cauliflower had the perfect texture of real risotto. But the best part of the risotto was the pieces of smoked pork belly! Then topped with a black garlic oil drizzle. Ill go back for this dish alone! Then to finish up, the Crème Brûlée was just as amazing. The autumn spiced crème stacked on top of an apple purée then topped with candied apple sliced. It was unbelievably good! The service staff was just as good as the quality of food, and thats hard to find nowadays. With the live music, the fantastic food and staff, we will be back again. Our brunch at Co-op was terrific. It s a beautiful, calm space. The wait staff was very attentive and courteous with our party of 7. And the food was delicious! I highly recommend the 2 fresh eggs, bacon, and hash brown casserole! Wonderful meal!

Awesome staff, especially Connie, thanks for making our first experience great at the CO/OP Community Table. The food was fantastic southern cooking at its best and reasonably priced. The patio overlooks the downtown springs, so it was a great lunch atmosphere. We look forward to our next visit.

Slow service. Mediocre food. Rockstar prices. I can deal with two out of three of those but not all of them. Waitress was kind enough. I m not faulting her. Menu is from Fall 2020 and says the restaurant was established in 2022. What s that s about? And to top it off, it costs $25 to park at the hotel.

We are in town from Birmingham, AL for a show and happened across Co/Op and I m so glad we did. They have seasonal menus and several entrees looked amazing but I settled on the pork ribeye and it was absolutely incredible! The cut was generous, the brown butter sauce was delicious, and the spinach was seasoned perfectly. This was one of the best dishes that I ve had in a while!

Such a great restaurant! We had the lobster pesto ravioli and butter cake and it was phenomenal. We had server Collins at the bar and she was the sweetest thing!! Definitely recommend if you re in Huntsville.

The food and drinks were great, and service was spot on. I sat at the bar, and the bartenders, Stacy and Collins provided attentive service and, as I previously stated, made amazing cocktails.

As a vegetarian, I always check the menu online before dining to make sure a place can accommodate. Online menu showed a nice looking vegetarian pasta dish I was excited about. Had reservations, came here from an event at the VBC, saw signs for the place but doors were locked, said for a private event. Called restaurant and they said we would have to walk around the entire hotel to the main entrance due to the private event - ok. Upon arrival, there was no private event and we sat right inside the doors we tried to come in initially (don t love been lied to, just tell us that s not a true entrance and make signs more clear, but moving on). Menu had slightly changed and they no longer have the vegetarian dish I planned to order from the online menu - fine, I get it, menus change, but the current menu does not have a single vegetarian entree. My significant other and I shared the pimento arancini, then I had a cup of asparagus soup, and a side of smoked Gouda grits. He had a burger and fries. My dishes were delicious, however they aren t kidding with the smoke in the Gouda grits. They were good, but the smoke flavor is strong! Significant other said the burger was just fine. Overall, good food, but service was lacking and a few frustrations made our visit less than ideal. I d give 3.5 stars if half stars were available because at the end of the day, my food was delicious.

We went for brunch one Sunday. We got the catfish dip for an appetizer, chicken and biscuit, and american breakfast. All were delicious! We also had a couple mimosas for cheap and then ended our time with a cocktail each! Highly recommended! P.S. dont forget to have them validate the parking ticket!

This is a great place for drinks and food, even Id it is a hotel bar. The 2 Bartenders( Collins & Jodie) were absolutely wondeful. Not only are they very friendly but can make a superior jalapeno margarita. They are overall 2 of the best Bartenders I have ever been served by. It is worth staying at the Embassy Suites just to meet Collins & Jodie and eat some really good food.

Excellent food and service. I was really impressed with the unique takes on old favorites. You should definitely get whatever the blue plate special is, and the asparagus soup was surprisingly light and delicious.

This is a MUST GO for brunch!! We found CO/OP in a local search while staying across the street at AC Marriott Downtown. We dined there for brunch on Saturday morning and it was fantastic! The staff is very hospitable and the food is absolutely delicious! We are visiting from AZ and wanted local food and this place hit the spot. The biscuits and gravy with fried chicken was outstanding! They marinate the chicken in magic because it was the best fried chicken we ever had (and we are both professionally & classically trained chefs). Our kids also enjoyed their meals, there is something for everyone. Don t pass this place up while visiting and if we were locals, this would be our go-to brunch spot! Kid-friendliness: Menu and service is very kid-friendly. They offer apple juice and orange juice at brunch, there is French toast, biscuits and gravy, eggs, breakfast meats, hash brown casserole (which our kids devoured!) plenty of wonderful choices!

The burgers were very good and Collins is a fantastic bartender! We came here a few times over the weekend and we will be back the next time we re in town. We had a very fun experience every time we came in!

I ate at the bar. Collins, the bartender was awesome. She made good drinks and her recommendations were spot on. However I ordered a filet which took 50 minutes to come out. I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. It was presented well but it took too long and was way overcooked. If you charge that much for filet cook it correctly otherwise you will lose customers quickly.

Was not impressed expected much more from the reviews. Service was slow not sure if its because it was a Wednesday night but the restaurant wasnt busy either. We did not receive biscuits at the table. Fois gras was the smallest serving weve ever seen and overpowered with peanut flavors. Hummus tasted like just mashed up peas (baby food). Poutine fries were decent but small serving. Arancini was ok not great. Wings were nice and tender with a good crisp. Cocktails were hit/miss. Overall, not sure we will go back as we were disappointed with the overall experience.

The guy singing Sinatra covers was a nice touch. Good place to meet up for drinks and discussions. Vegetarian options: Server knew what could be modified for vegetarians.

The food was amazing! Brussels sprouts were a delight! Smoked trout, yes! Shrimp and grits? -slap your mama! Pimento biscuits - scrumptious! And ask for Quade was the most genial lovely server extraordinaire!!

My husband and I visited this restaurant earlier this month and it was just, okay. It s located inside of the Embassy hotel in Downtown Huntsville. The restaurant is tucked away at the back of the main floor. The atmosphere and ambiance was pretty, but the food was just not that incredible. The scallops dish was flavorful but way overly salted, and the side of fries with my husbands burger seemed to be frozen fries. They were definitely not handmade. Unfortunately I don t foresee us coming back.

Took my husband there for his birthday. Met the chef and enjoyed every bite of his well-seasoned food. The smoked catfish dip, scallops and shrimp and grits are highly recommended. Atmosphere was good for a hotel space. Good food. I had the Brussel sprouts and the Gouda grits which both were flavorful and served in a timely manner. The bartender made me a Manhattan that was perfect! Definitely worth checking out. Like all other places located in hotels, you will pay a premium though.

Went for restaurant week. This was our second time and the food was not good. Chicken was so dry and salty.

Lovely atmosphere with good food. However slow service. We went for brunch and the wait was short with only a few parties eating or being seated. Took over 30 minutes to get our brunch items. Seems like a nice place to go for drinks at the bar though.

Excellent food and service at the bar. The Saturday brunch was fabulous. I dont know what went into the scrambled eggs but they were the best I have ever had. The biscuits and gravy were a hit too. I definitely recommend this place and will return.

COOP missed an opportunity to win back a customer. I ve eaten there once before and was glaringly underwhelmed and had no intent to go back. I came across their restaurant week menu and it looked amazing - the salad, the peach butter cake, the herbed gnocchi, the suggested watermelon mojito. I read they had outdoor dining which is perfect for a night like tonight. It checked the box for the unique culinary experience I was hoping for except, I don t eat chicken. I figured I d head over anyway and ask if the chicken could be subbed for salmon, with an obvious up charge. (I m not unreasonable) Sadly rather than adding a $7-10 up charge I was told the chef wants to adhere strictly to his menu . Mmkay. - Currently writing this from The Bottle. Response to the stock reply from management: sorry, won t be back. Last night was my opportunity to be WOWed. The restaurant week menu looked great and very wowing, that s why I decided to give the place a second try. The option I can partake in from regular menu as I said was underwhelming so why would I come back to try that? The Res Week menu was what brought me back. I appreciate your attempt to appear to be an engaged leader who addresses customer complaints.

Food and bartender were good. Turning the lights all the way up to look at inventory by the manager before the bar was closed, it was not really customer friendly. We and others felt chased out.

We were the only customers at 6pm on a weekday. Rolls served prior to the meal were dry n cold. Lobster ravioli was good. Pork bone in tenderloin was the absolute best I have had. Waitres was great.

Hands down one of the worst dining (or lack of dining) experiences my wife and I have ever had! From the moment we walked up, on time for our reservation, the hostess was no where to be found. Mind you, the restaurant was not even full. After waiting 10 minutes, we were finally seated. After being seated, we weren t greeted nor approached by ANY of the staff that was working. The table next to us (less than 2 feet away) was finishing their meal and the server checked on them multiple times, even brought them their bill. Not once was there a hello or even a look in our direction. We weren t spoken to until I got up and stopped the Manager who was walking by to say something. No apology, just a I ll get your server. Once the server finally did come over, it was like we were a nuisance and it was clear she did not want to be helping us. She said nothing about the wait and gave no explanation. Since we had a significant amount of time waiting, we really wanted to order some drinks. We ordered the two special drinks the restaurant was promoting that evening (and the entire restaurant was also drinking) and the server put in the order. Another 10 minutes went by, still no communication, and we still hadn t gotten our drinks. When we finally saw the server head to the bar, she grabbed the drinks and took them to a couple that had gotten there after us. At that point my wife and I were completely frustrated and left after taking a couple sips of water that we were reluctantly given. From start to finish, we were there for an hour and had received nothing. This experience was worst one that I ve had over the last 10 years of eating at high-end restaurants around the country. This is disappointing and disheartening. All of the restaurants we visited over the last seven years living in Huntsville have been absolutely fantastic. It s sad that the newer restaurants in the area (this one particularly) do not share a high quality of service mentality. So, in the end we decided to celebrate our anniversary at our go-to, Poppy and Parliament. We were instantly greeted by multiple staff, sat promptly, served drinks in less than 5 minutes (and with a SMILE), and congratulated on our anniversary. We had a fantastic dinner - as usual.

Fall 2023 update Still awesome food and service. This place is an under-utilized gem of downtown Huntsville. Will certainly go again. visited fall 2022 After being open for about a month, this place has a pretty good menu, and high quality food. The chicken was nice and tender, the ravioli seemed to be homemade, and the banana pudding was very well done. They serve mostly elevated southern cuisine, with a fine dining experience (great cocktails), but in a hotel lobby. Their menu changes frequently, so well be back to see what other interesting dishes they create. Will go again.

I ve had both brunch and dinner here while dining with the Meals & Melanin Network food club & the food was underwhelming both times. The appetizers & the drinks were great, but the entrees that i tried didn t have much flavor. The staff was very accommodating & friendly, the location & atmosphere is top tier .its just the food.

I was hanging out with my friends from our food club Meals and Melanin. I ordered the Pork Porterhouse. The meat was good but the sides were very underwhelming and unseasoned. The environment and service was great.

I dined here for dinner with Meals and Melanin Network and ordered the short rib. I did sub mashed potatoes for the sweet potato and my meal was DELICIOUS. The short rib was juicy and falling apart. Well seasoned and paired well with the mashed potatoes. Dinner was much better than the brunch experience we had here last week.

Came here for the first time for dinner with Meals and Melanin network. I started off with a pineapple margarita which was great. I ordered the shrimp and grits first, which wasn t for me, I like more of a traditional shrimp and grits entree. I switched it out for the short ribs and it was delicious, I d definitely order it again!
