Great place and the food was awsome

My dad and I went there for a dinner out and the environment was friendly! It was a seat yourself night, so that was cool! The busses come back to get our server ready to take our order and the food was delicious! I had the two sliders with coleslaw and My dad had had one of their burgers! Definitely would recommend!

A great place to eat and friendly staff. Avocado on the Teriyaki bowl was a great addition to flavor.

Food was great and quick! Service was fine too but our waitress lisa continually called my husband babe and love . not a fan.

Came with a small group Saturday for my friends birthday. Food was great as always. Our waitress however was so rude and passive aggressive. She complained to other wait staff right in front of us and then turned to us and kept complaining about how busy she was, how long she had worked, and how annoyed she was that people kept seating themselves in her section and not sitting upfront (sign said to seat yourself). She said this after we put our orders in and got drinks so it would ve been hard to move. She would ask us if we needed refills, this or that and when we would say no (we were afraid of asking for anything at all from her, even things we had ordered and never received) she would stand there and convince us we did need what ever it was, then passive aggressively say she would get it when she wasn t so busy and her hands weren t full acting like we were aggressive demanding the items instead of her aggressively insisting we needed these things. Very strange and disappointing experience from Drakes. I come or order from here all the time and it s usually great

Never fails to dissapoint. Service was horrible. It felt like we were an inconvenience to her. Drinks were too sweet and no decent non- alcoholic cocktails. The sushi tastes like they bought it from the supermarket, and not Fresh Market. The fried foods are too salty. The bathroom attendant refused to leave the bathroom to give privacy even though the bathroom was spotless. The bathrooms were not properly marked since I used the bathroom with a transgender, which is not an issue, but there should be proper door signage to let women know they will be getting undressed with an employee watching them.

My boyfriend and I were excited to try Drakes burgers, but were sorely disappointed. Waited nearly an hour for 2 burgers in a restaurant witch was not at all busy. Mac and cheese was cold TWICE. asked for Mayo but couldnt get silverware. Burgers were meh at best

Gotta be one of the best places in Huntsville to go either pick up Nicks club, or the fish and chips another words fish and fries really good tasting fish very thick very best honey mustard sauce for the fries and the tartar sauce for the fresh hot fish.

Service was SLOW. We had to ask for things multiple times. Food was just okay. The fish was completely unseasoned so it wasnt great. The sauce with the fried pickles wasnt liked by anyone. Steak was cooked to order but hardly any seasoning if any. Maybe just a bad night but it was Halloween and they were running a special for kids to eat free. They should have been more prepared.

I get the blue cheese & apple chopped salad. Love it. My husband usually gets a hamburger, which they have different specials each month. He says its one of the best in town. Parking: In a strip mall, so there is plenty shared parking.

Its a great place to grab lunch, have a discussion over a meal with colleagues, or move your visit to the evening for apps, drinks with friends and co-workers, or dinner with family! It truly is a spot for any occasion with a wide variety of dishes to match!

Lisa was our server and she was great. Me and my bf dont dine out often so we decided to drive an hr to try Drakes. And let me say not only was the food incredible but I love when I get a server with a great personality.

I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but these bartenders deserve it. Tonight I came to grab some food and drinks . The service was a disaster from start to finish. It took me a while to get greeted as well as zero attention to anything I needed, and having to flag down the server for everything from silverware, drinks , sauces, and the bill ( which they kept taking back because they forgot to charge me for things) . It seemed me that they were way more interested in each other , eating food behind the bar (without washing hands , gross) and kissing their significant others ! than they were serving their customers. I was not the only person that had this issue In fact, if It hadn t been for the waitress with the purple hair, I would be leaving one star. She stopped by because she saw I was struggling and took care of everything I needed Perhaps she s the one that should be behind the bar . Food was amazing . Service .. never again

I had ordered both take out and dined in here. I really wanted to like the place because I liked that they had burgers AND sushi and it looked like one of the coolest places I had seen on Google Maps. I ordered take out twice and the first time I ordered sliders and the salad with apples and blue cheese. The sliders were delicious, but unfortunately my salad had no blue cheese or apples. I was pretty disappointed because that s what I was really expecting in the salad. When I called the restaurant about it they did not want to accommodate me. They told me that they could send me a gift card for the price of the salad although I let them know that I was staying at a hotel and would only be in Huntsville for a short amount of time. They said I could just use it the next time I got back to Huntsville and that the gift card would be delivered within 5 days. I never received the gift card. Nonetheless, I decided to give it another chance and decided to skip the salad this time and got the teriyaki chicken bowl which was so tasty and I thought I d like to try to give this place a real shot and visit. I decided to dine in to see what the place was really about, and I was terribly disappointed. It was a nice looking place and I was pretty excited upon first glance. I really wanted to try the sushi since I had been nervous about ordering it as a take out item. I went earlier in the night, but it might as well have been closed based off the way that the workers ignored me despite me being one of the only customers there. I waited so long for someone to greet me and take my order (around 30 minutes) that by the time they did, I didn t even want to order the food anymore. Needless to say, I did not spend much more time there and left shortly after.

First timer and last time eating here.Not sure why this place was so packed, with the quality of food we was served. I got buffalo wrap and my wife got buffalo chicken minis. The chicken in the wrap was super dry and my wifes chicken was rubbery. Was a one and done for us.

Your new server Joe was great, top notch. Food was also wonderful. 4 happy bellies :)

Definitely going on the go-to list for local places. The fried fish and fries were excellent and the portion was generous.

The Juicy Lucys are amazing

This place has a huge menu but somehow doesnt fall into the usual pitfall of having each item be of lesser quality as a result. My favorites are the Juicy Lucys and the chicken tenders - and with these, Drakes homemade ranch. Let me tell you, if better ranch exists, I havent found it. Juli Ana is my favorite server and she always takes good care of us :)

Great food!

Food was ok after we were told they were out of macaroni and cheese, and sliced cheese for the girlfriend s sliders. Place seemed a little dirty. To top it off they added their own tip on to my debit card after I left a cash tip. Tried to call and dispute the bill but no one answered

Juliana was our server and she was amazing and so sweet!! The manager came over and checked on us a lot, which was nice. Tory, another server also checked on us and we loved her! The food was amazing, we were pleasantly surprised.

I gave 3 stars only because it is deceiving. My sister and I both thought it was a BBQ joint. It was not. But EVERYTHING else was great! Best restaurant service EVER!!! The dining floor was quite slippery, dont know if they use kitchen mop water to mop dining room, if so, I recommend using fresh cleaning water.

We love going to Drake s during the midday. We have always gotten very good food and service. We are usually seated in the area where we get Katie for our server. She is so good at her job and makes it look so easy. Thanks Katie.

The service is great and most of the food is decent and I m usually pleased . However after a recent trip I must say the mac and cheese is the worst mac and cheese I ve ever had and was super dry with weird crumbles on top and the flavor was inedible.

My son and I usually visit Drakes about once a month or so, the food is usually pretty good . But today was different we both had the chicken asada taco and the chicken seemed to have been cooked really fast, it was almost burned on the outside and the meat itself was very tough . I have had this dish before and it was delicious, so maybe it was just an off day for the cook . We will give it another chance , its just so expensive to eat out these days you do expect good food and service, which our service was very good. PJV

Would LOVE to speak to a manager/owner, but have just called 5xs at 3pm on a Thursday, and no one will answer the phone. But I saw the way they treat their customers on my visit a few days ago, so I shouldn t be surprised. I certainly do not recommend dining at this location.

I love this restaurant and visit weekly but, I was very disturbed by what I witnessed Saturday. A trans man is allowed by Corporate to use the ladies room. As a mother and grandmother, this upsets me beyond words. This has to stop or, my family and friends wont be back. Weve been coming there since you opened but, I dont want to worry about whether myself or my Granddaughter is going to be in the restroom with this man. Its not worth it. We can go to other restaurants where we feel safe.

Visited this location for dinner while on business. Restaurant was busy but we sat right away. We had fresh sushi and the Drakes patty melt. I stick with my favorite the patty melt and next to my wifes this is the best one I have had in a very long time. Our waitress was very attentive personable helpful. I will visit again when in Huntsville.

Love drakes food and staff are nice. I dont like the seat yourself because you are often seating yourself at a dirty table then have to wait for them to clean it before you Order Food

Open doors make for almost-al-fresco dining when the weather is nice.. Food selections are a cut above. Our waitress was perfect. Lots of TVs for distraction but the sound is not too loud (thank goodness!).

Don t order Drakes and have delivered thru Door Dash. They never have food ready and they never send the entire order.

Went for a mid-afternoon lunch, we sat ourselves as instructed but there werent any clean tables. After standing around for awhile, someone finally cleared one off. I felt like our server felt like she wanted us out of there quickly. Food was mediocre at best. Too many great options in this area to settle on this place... unless youre looking for a bar.

Drakes has a fun, party atmosphere without the issues of a bar. Food is better than expected and there are actually some healthy options available, or you can opt for a big greasy burger. Reasonable prices, lots of fun. Parking: Huge lot for the building complex, but just be prepared to walk a bit if its really busy. Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly. Good options for all ages plus the noise level and atmosphere is just right to not worry. Plus they have a few games and activities that they can play if they get bored.

So I tried this place more than once to make sure I gave the benefit of the doubt, it was horrible both times!!!! The food was cold both times!! There was a gnat in my husband s sushi, the tortillas for my chicken asada tacos were damn near burned to a crisp! I was completely turned away! Just idk WTH be going in back there because our server was actually nice and food came quick but it came at a cost! We didn t even get to finish! I was instantly disgusted after seeing the damn gnat!

I feel so sad. The sigma waiter that had skibidi rizz messed up my order. Then I got fanum taxed! What is this resteraunt. It s so Ohio!

Way too loud. My fried pickles were extremely salty. I had the mushroom swiss burger. It had lettuce and tomato on it. After removing those it was better, but still bland. I doubt Ill be going back.

It was my first time coming here and decided to do a casual birthday dinner with my family. Waiter messed up our order. The manager DID NOT ask us how our meal was. My chicken and mediation steak came out 2 degrees above room temperature. Needless to say I will not order anything complicated like steak and chicken from their menu if I ever decide to come back. Dont waste your time and money unless you want to sip beer and watch TV. The fried pickles were good.

First time to eat at Drakes the food was great.

We went here on a Saturday night at 5:37 PM. This was our first experience with Drakes. The doorway is very narrow, and it is difficult for customers coming and going to get in and out. The first thing we noticed was the overwhelming and obnoxious smell of smoke. The smell of smoke was extremely heavy and more than youd experience at an BBQ joint. The hostess was unwelcoming. Even though about half the seating was empty, with dirty tables, the hostess told us the wait for a table was over 30 minutes. We asked if we could sit at the bar and she said we could but it would still be over 30 minutes before wed get our food because the kitchen started late. We sat at the bar and the bartender immediately greeted us and took our drink order. However, after several minutes, she still hadnt started it. The menu here is weird. For the amount of smoke in the air, I thought I was going to see a bunch of BBQ items on the menu. To my surprise, it was multiple pages of sushi. There were only 5 steak options with almost no difference between them. There was nothing on the menu that would explain why there was such a heavy smoke smell. NOTHING... After looking things over and with the service quality, we decided to leave, having never received a drink or food. I was given a $50 gift card here, and Ill never use it because Ill never be back, not even for the free food.

Ordered juicy Lucy burgers, pretzel bites, sushi roll and fries. Good food but service was very slow. Hard time getting drink refills and our food was delivered by runners who never came back to check on us to make sure we had everything and missed part of our food order. Our waitress was hard to track down and that made our dining experience not the greatest. Place was virtually empty when we were there. Maybe service is better when its a busy night so would go back to try it again. They had gluten free options for sushi and mains so that was a plus. Dietary restrictions: Some menu options for GF.

My wife and I had a great experience here for a lunch date following an appointment. We each had a drink and a sushi roll and the Buffalo chicken dip. Service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was super chill and comfortable.

Omg this place was on point in every aspect. The service, atmosphere, music, tvs, food, drinks - all of it!! I had sushi while my coworker had burgers. We both got what we wanted & it came out SO FAST! I would definitely go back....multiple times! If tou dont know where to eat, EAT HERE!!!!!!!

Drakes has improved greatly since our last visit- three years ago. I would highly recommend this place and their loaded tots.

Went in for their St. Patrick day specials. Our server was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The blt tots were delicious! Drinks were served quickly and were very good. Lots of televisions with plenty of variety to watch. It was just a quick stop while out shopping, but it was a fun place Id go back to!

Excellent food and service. I was highly impressed with the atmosphere here. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

First time to eat there. Food was good, service was good. My only complaint was that the seating was uncomfortable. Large wooden benches at the booths and tall tables were the only choices. Otherwise, it was a pretty good experience.

The food and atmosphere here have always been good to great. The service however had dipped to poor and we had back to back bad experiences here and even spoke to a manager who seemed to be clueless and inattentive. We decided to give it another shot and the bartender for the back bar named Sean restored our faith in this establishment and set the bar for what great service is supposed to be. I can t tell you to go here, but if you do, sit at the back bar and look for Sean. BTW: Sean only has works Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Absolutely stupid. Have to listen to music and no volume on the major sport event!!

Best service, Food delicious

We ate at the bar because there was a 45 minute wait for a table. I had a skinny margarita which I didnt car for but the sangria was really good. Sliders and sushi were great as well. Parking: It was in plaza with other businesses so we had to park far away.

My granddaughter just took me here for lunch and it was delicious. I had the sliders and fries. The service was great and so was the food. I will definitely be coming back.

Awesome service and great food everytime. Whether its the soft pretzel appetizer or fried pickles you cant go wrong. The blt is solid and the beer battered fried fish is the best Ive had. Check them out if youre in the area.

If you live close to Drakes there is absolutely no need to visit any local Applebees, Chilis, Red Robin, or anything like that. These people have the best burgers and so much more. My favorite spot around.

My husband and I were very hungry, so I wanted to try somewhere different and went with Drakes. Ordered a chicken sandwich, my husband never checks the food, I wish he would because then we maybe could ve had our food remade. I opened my food to see it s basically burnt, overly fried, drenched in oil, smells like burnt old oil and leaves a charred taste. Lots of ketchup but hardly any fries! We paid $37 for this We re so hungry tho, my husband tried to scrape the breading off to eat his but still couldn t finish it.

Great place to eat and relax with a nice drink to go with the food. Would recommend morning glory burger or the queso burger.

This is one of our favorite casual eateries in Huntsville. The staff is super friendly and the location manager is amazing. We ve never had a bad meal and are obsessed with the juicy Lucy s.

This place is on point

Ive been to Drakes several time over the past years, and it seems to have gone down in the quality of service and the food. I was a part of a group, and our server was supposedly the server of the month but I couldnt tell. Several times members of our group had to ask for simple things like water or utensils. It took longer than usual for our food to arrive, and when it did they only brought out half of the orders...then 2 more...leaving one of the people in our party without their order until almost all of us were finished eating. Amazing since my food wasnt hot when it arrived. The bar height tables are close together and uncomfortable (nowhere to rest your feet so your legs go numb). Unless its for a work lunch as a group, I doubt I ever go back. I can find tastier, less expensive lunch options in a more comfortable and pleasant setting elsewhere.

Well me and my son decided to go in and set down and get another great meal! Boom! What a let down! Well it said seat yourself so we set in the back by the bar. Set there 25 minutes........2 sets of people sat down were waited on immediately! Well I said give it another 2 minutes maybe well get noticed ....Nope so I said well guess well leave. No one said a word or even looked our way. I cant believe the life of me why we got over looked but I guess not everyone cares about customer service. I loved Drakes and know why your a great restaurant nut wont be for long. So we left and havent looked back! Wont ever experience this again. I think someone needs to watch the floor at all times.

Ordered take-out from bar. 3 of 5 ordered came out wrong. One of 5 orders didn t come out at all. $90+ of food, and they couldn t get it right after waiting 40 mins. Never again
