Very cute and tasty.

The food quality is excellent with fresh, farm-to-table ingredients, and the service is generally decent though sometimes slow. However, what diminished my experience was the extensive list of upcharges - additional fees for alternative milk, flavor additions, extra dressing, and various other small modifications. While I understand quality ingredients are costly, the numerous separate charges felt excessive and unwelcoming. Limited seating and parking are also considerations. Though the food is good, the nickel-and-diming approach makes me hesitant to return.

We are from out of state and so glad we found this gem! The food was wonderful and loved the service too. Great food options for non-meat eaters. Can t recommend it enough! Wish we had our dog with us :)

My first time in today! Lunch was amazing. The spaghetti and meatballs were incredible and the service- the best! This is my new favorite place in Huntsville. I had the seasonal lemonade and a hibiscus tea to go. It s hard to tell which one is my favorite, I loved them both. Will be back soon, thank you for lunch!

Service was fast and friendly. Food was awesome. The house made lemonade was perfect, not overly sweet like most places. This is a must go to place.

We were amazed to find such a wonderful vegan selection when we traveled to this area. Its usually a bit of a struggle to find vegan options while traveling, but Hound and Harvest was a breath of fresh air. Not only did we have better choices than a fake burger or a salad, but their unique options were absolutely delicious. Vegetarian options: Terrific vegan options. I was inspired with ideas for meals at home too.

The food is usually really good here, but todays Sunday brunch was not great.

This was my second time going back. I really enjoyed the food. However, I was seated and they gave me a menu. I waited and waited while they moved tables. When I asked if I could order the gentleman told me no and they would be with me as soon as they were done moving the tables. I guess someone does yoga in the morning there. I dont know why they couldnt move the tables back when theyre done. I may decide to go back, but itll be a while. I would encourage you to focus on customers.

It was my first time coming and Junior was very nice. He took my to go order and noticed that I was a healthcare worker and even gave me a discount because of that. I appreciated his kindness and it was just what I needed during my short lunch break. Thank you!

Food was fantastic, the shrimp tacos were amazing! Great flavor and the tacos were huge. Service was really bad, inattentive, slow and just non-existent. At a restaurant that charges $14-$18 an entree you would expect to get better service and not just be ignored for most of your dining experience. Sat down at table: 12:18 Greeted by server: 12:38 Drinks delivered (had to flag down another server to ask if we could get our waters): 12:52 Food delivered: 12:54 Server checked on food (we were already done eating): 1:10 Check (had to ask someone else, our server never came back): 1:20.

Where to start? Disappointed. A prime location. Came with great expectations. Dirty napkins, Nested Hen Salad was supposed to have cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese and caramelised pecans, but I counted barely six halves of tomatoes and about the same amount of little pieces of cucumbers, no feta cheese and no pecans. The dessert Pavlova was butchered.

Affordable. Delicious. Home-inspired hospitality from our server. Dunno the next time Ill be in Huntsville let alone Alabama but Im suggesting this restaurant to my dietary restriction homies visiting!

Excellent food choices. I had the BLT and the fresh Jalapeño sauce with tomatoes and a mixture of green salad mix was different. Flavor was delicious and Mexican corn was great! The house vingerate was so very good. I will be back for dinner. Affordable prices for the quality of great food I had will keep me dining there

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch here! The food was absolutely delicious and I loved the unique flavors and spice combinations. As foodies we loved the menu and the atmosphere was wonderful. Prices were a little steep but for fresh ingredients and in this economy it is obvious why. Our favorite part though was our coffee and tea! Will be coming back!

Ive seen this place before and havent tried it yet so I chose Hounds and Harvest for supper. I didnt look at the menu well enough before we went in and I was expecting burgers. I got tacos, salads, and sandwiches. I hate tacos, I dont ever request them for supper and I never order them when we go out. I say that to say mine were bomb! I had the combination tacos with shrimp and steak. The southwest ranch wasnt spicy and was the perfect condiment for these tacos. My wife had a salad and the chili vinaigrette on it was lighting her up, she wouldve like it more if it had less heat. Down side is the price. You have a 2.50 up charge if you substitute a side for a bag of chips, which seems like Im being picky. You can be picky when it costs 80 dollars to feed two adults and a 4 year old. Granted, we did buy lattes and they have up charges on those for selecting a flavor. Bottom line is its expensive but my food was solid and tasted great and we can add it to lifes experience.

Very disappointing. The place itself was adorable and inviting. However, it went downhill from there. We had a male server who took our order and then we never saw him again. A runner brought our food which the grits were cold and the eggs pre-made. I never got my drink which was only water. We ate only a few bites then waited fifteen minutes for our server to check on our meal. We finally had to ask another server to bring us the bill. Understand, the place was not busy. We will not be back and now heading somewhere else to eat.

Every time I visit H&H, I am blown away. Delicious, fresh + creative menu and outstanding service. Big fan!

1 star goes to the server. Im not mentioning his name, because everyone has off days and whatever it is youre going through, I promise will get better love as far as the food, absolutely 5 star. EXCELLENT!

Sadly one of the only places in town where you can eat healthy as well as let your kids and pets run around. I hope they stay in business forever.

Great flavors, service and atmosphere. I enjoyed the bayou shrimp tacos and my wife had a salad. Fresh ingredients with good flavors. Service was friendly and prompt. I would enjoy the patio on a good weather day but early July was a bit too hot for me. Great location if you want to bring your dog on a leash. I want to. go again soon.

visited June 2024 This place always has great food and pretty good drinks as well. Sort of a combination biergarten, brunch place, and, outdoor family dining, heres a huge grass kids play area, picnic tables, porch seating, and an normal indoor seating area as well. The food is elevated sandwiches, and other fresh foods, and their cocktails area light and tasty. It is very similar to the previous business, without the dietary restriction theme. Would go again.

Great place, yard needs to be sprayed though! Flies, gnats, & other teeny biters made for a tough meal.

Stopped by for late lunch (3 oclockish) noticing it sitting at traffic light Bob Wallace/Whitesburg with my beautiful wife. Three fish tacos were the special of the day that were lightly battered cod with side of macaroni and cheese. It was well worth the stop.

UPDATE: I m revising my review - for now - because I really appreciate the response from the owner and I personally understand some of the challenges they face as a new business. I ll update again in the future. ** I don t so much mind being turned away half an hour before closing time because they decided to close early ( we re a small business and every minute counts - wth?); but if you are going to do that, you should appreciate the person who made the effort to support your business and be really, really nice about sending the would-be customer away. The guy I spoke with (owner?) was borderline rude and definitely not friendly. Not so much as a smile. Probably will not be back.

Hound and Harvest has me HOWLIN at the back door BEGGIN for scraps. The BLT is all ya need. But that street corn, YEEEEEOW I m the worlds first corn addict, as soon as I m out of the slammer I m running straight to the Hound.

Sunny was a great host. Loved the strawberry salad, that should be a mainstay on the menu.

What a hidden gem! Came at 5pm on Saturday as they close at 7 and had an amazing time. Wonderful dog friendly atmosphere. The food is insanely good with local ingredients and the drinks are made incredibly well.

I have eaten here several times. Had the Steak Tacos last night with salad. The steak was flavorful and tender, the marinated onions and aioli on it was also excellent. The blueberry vinaigrette dressing I had with the salad was very good. Service was fast even though they were very busy. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Gluten free and vegan options

Great atmosphere, fresh food, and friendly staff!

Decided to try this out Sunday for brunch. We appreciated the water instantly brought out as we sat down. The server promptly took our orders. Unfortunately we didnt receive our food until another 30 minutes had passed. A couple of our friends got some sort of tacos and they seemed quite pleased. My wife, myself, and our other friend ordered their breakfast bowl. Once our food arrived it looked delicious, shortly after that our drinks arrived. I found the food to not be anything worth writing home about. I am no chef, but I couldve made that at home and been less upset about the price for the portion size. We did not see our server for another 20 minutes. By then we were wrapping up our meals and long overdue for a refill. She got our refills (another five minute wait) then someone came around offering water. At this point we had been there well over an hour. It took another 15 minutes for our check to be brought to the table. At this point my wife requested her fruit cup to go that she had ordered originally as an additional side. Then another five for the server to come back to take payment and bring the fruit cup that my wife had been patiently waiting on throughout this absolute hot mess of time. I found the overall experience just not worth it. Im sure they have some wonderful food on their menu, but that breakfast or scramble bowl whatever its called was an overpriced disappointment and the service is an unmitigated disaster. This just aint it, it couldve been and potentially could be with the right leadership and training, but it aint.

Met for a lovely lunch with friends. I loved the chicken bowl I ordered. It was small, but very filling. Also can definitely recommend the chocolate espresso muffin!

Great atmosphere and friendly service. However, the menu is overpriced and the food portion size is way too small for the price. Also, the server we had could use sone additional training. He brought us our coffee with no spoons to stir it with.

Slipped in here on the recommendation from a friend. We were very pleased with our lunch! Both of us got a bowl and it was colorful, tasty, filling, and probably best of all, felt healthy. The service was great and the prices were a little high, but fair. We enjoyed a couple coffees with our meal!

Our marketer, Maya, stopped by for a quick power hour on her laptop and was thrilled with the cozy but bright atmosphere, tiramisu latte, and the fresh and delicate berry shortcake. Junior Rhodes was serving and was prompt, kind, and informative. You can tell that Bobby Jordan, Garrett Hardy, Jarred Rhodes, and Dwayne Morehouse make a fantastic team. This is a great vibe that will leave you with your tail wagging. **Note to self to take advantage of the $25 Mimosas on the weekends...what a deal!**

We were seated immediately and brought water right away which was great but that s about it everything after was no bueno. The surf and turf tacos tasted like they caught the shrimp in guntersville lake and then they sat out for two days. The steak tasted like I would rather have just gone to Taco Bell and ordered a chalupa supreme. The kettles chips sound great on the menu with all these great flavors just to be regular bags of chips? The waiter came back once to bring hot sauce which was basically 2 tablespoons of chalula and he says it s almost empty so if you need more let me know..huh?? No refills or anything else was offered. Ok great we re done eating but why are we sitting around for 10 minutes to get our check? So I ask the girl cleaning the tables and she says ok let me ask someone to print your ticket and then homegirl immediately proceeds to continue cleaning the table?? This whole experience felt like a strange social experiment. But hey at least the bathroom was clean. Maybe come by for a drink with your dog but definitely don t come for the food.

Great fresh and tasty salads!

I went with my brother as part of my (very slow) journey to visit all the places with vegan options in Huntsville. I had the plant based chorizo tacos, they were very good though you get three which was a bit much for me, so I gave one to my brother, who also like it. He had a bacon, egg, and avocado on ciabbata sandwich that he said was very good too. Vegetarian options: There are plant based options, which are vegetarian by default. Dietary restrictions: There are many gluten free options, which are clearly marked. Also anything that contains nuts is marked as such. There are also plant based options marked, which is helpful for people who cant eat dairy.

I dropped in for an early lunch Thursday around 10:40. Was immediately greeted and told I could pick a table. I was able to share the space with one other guest. As always the restaurant was impeccably clean with a great atmosphere. The menu offering nothing but great options. I have a favorite though the Bayou Bowl. Now when I first started ordering this the shrimp were huge and I recognize that this aspect could be seasonal. At any rate the flavors have been consistent and delicious. My complaint with the recent visit is the rice was very undercooked - inedible. When asked how the food was, I mention exactly this indicating the flavors were great but the rice was undercooked and was told that she would let the kitchen know. She kindly followed up with some along the lines of here s the check, pay when you are ready. My issue is don t ask how the food is unless you as a business are ready to make it right with either replacement or discount. Neither option where offer. I paid the roughly $18 but don t plan on doing that again.

Omg! Sooooooooooo good!! If you re in the area you should definitely try!! The tamale bowl was amazing . All plant based and you would ve never known it it was so good and so filling!! I got the French toast strudel and it was soooo good it reminded me of bread pudding!! Cadi did an amazing job on it!! They have a lot of plant based options too! And Susan was an amazing server too!! The whole staff was super friendly!! We will definitely go back!! We don t say that much either!!

Hound and Harvest is a hidden gem on Whitesburg Ave., I want to praise them, but I also want to keep them to myself. The new French Toast strudel/casserole is to die for! Get it with a side of bacon. The Babs is savory, creamy and DE-licious!! Sunday brunch is my fave, but anytime is a good time. Check them out, you wont be sorry.

My family and I like to travel to new towns when we can. This was our first time in Huntsville. We ate here the first night and ordinarily we try to dine at a variety of places, but Hound and Harvest was so good, we had to come back for seconds the next night! Fresh, a surprisingly great selection of plant based options (which was harder to find in Alabama), and great service. They seem to do a lot of philanthropic work with the well-being of dogs, too, which is a noted added bonus. Give this place a try if you live or are visiting Huntsville. Fantastic!

I have eaten at this restaurant three times. Each time my order has been brought to the table incorrect. I get the same bowl each time because the food can be good and I ask for the dressing on the side. I am very specific about this request and I also ask for one substitution because I cannot eat one of the items traditionally served in the bowl that I choose. Each time the bowl has come to the table covered in dressing. I ask that it be taken back because I requested dressing on the side. The problem with this is that it takes quite a while for the bowl to be redone correctly and my lunch companions are halfway through their meal before I get mine. The last two times I have eaten here we have had the same waitress. She seems more concerned with getting some chores done like cleaning tables or sweeping than she does with taking care of us. We have had to get up and ask for our water to be refilled. The reason I am only giving two stars is because this last time that I ate here not only was my order brought to the table incorrect, but the bowl contained old, yellow, mushy broccoli, and black, slimy lettuce. I moved these items to the side of the bowl and pointed them out to the server who came to the table to ask us about our meal. She made no comment and left. I assumed that she was going to go get a manager or someone who would come to the table and apologize for the bad food and perhaps offer us something for the inconvenience of the incorrect order and the obviously old broccoli and lettuce. Nothing happened. We decided to go ahead and pay for a meal, but before I left, I asked to speak to the manager. The woman I spoke with did not appear to be too upset about my complaints and did not offer anything in response to my complaints. Very poor customer service. It is because of the service at the table and the lack of customer service by the manager when I made a complaint that will cause me not to return to this restaurant.

Fantastic experience at Hound and Harvest! Food was fresh and delicious. I had the beet salad with chicken added, at the waitress recommendation. Service was speedy for take-out; though the dining room was nearly full, they brought my to-go order within ~5 minutes. This place is a gem!

I just had the best steak tacos in my life. I am floored. When you do inevitably grow your business please do not change a thing. I think I just formed a core food memory.

Unhappy hour-First thing I asked for was water, never got it. Asked for a childs portion of quesadilla so I could have dessert. Paid $20 for a large happy hour Quesadilla that was burned. Waiter never checked on me. Had to find him to pay my bill. Told him the plant based chorizo was good but tortilla was black. He took the compliment but ignored the complaint. Disappointing. Not likely to return.

I got one of the bowls and honestly it was more of an expensive salad. If you sit outside they make you place your order by phone, which only has an option for pickup. I thought they would bring their food to me. The quantity of food is disappointing for the price. The food did have great flavor though.

We popped in hoping for a healthier lunch and this place delivered on healthy but didnt pack a good flavor punch. My friends bowl was dry, so she asked for more sauce... But they brought her the sauce for my bowl instead, which didnt go with her bowl. She actually had to chase someone down for that sauce, too. I asked for no corn, but they delivered with corn. They did take it back and return it without corn... But it was obviously the same bowl and theyd added more sauce to cover it up. The service left a lot to be desired, but my food was decent. My friend would probably go 2 or 3 stars, though. Also interesting that there are dog things and signs everywhere but no dogs allowed. I get the food/animal no-go, but its interesting.

This place is amazing! Every time we go the food is fresh, vibrant, and has such great flavors. The staff is friendly and professional. We always enjoy ourselves no matter if we are 2 or 10 people. My husband took a friend from out of town their last night and his friend thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food. He plans to come back and bring his wife.

We love Hound and Harvest, excellent food and delicious coffee and cocktails. I love that we can either sit inside and enjoy the cute decor or bring our German Shepherds to enjoy the backyard dining atmosphere.

Come here every few weeks as I like the Hot Tamale Bowl and food quality. And while a great place with nice side yard, thy are not kid friendly for breakfast. They are now premaking all of their bowls, per employee, and these include pickled onions, sour cream and the like. For kids, they only offer peanut butter jelly, grilled cheese, mac n cheese and quesadilla. Thats it. To get a small breakfast plate for my little boy, i have to order mulitple sides of bacon, eggs, grits, etc all of which cost as much or more tham adult bowls while being smaller portion. I asked if owner or chef available as would be great to get kids brekkie bowl added to menu, and employees, who are polite, just say bowls are premade and only option is ro ring up sides to get breakfast for a child. Anyway, hoping owner reads this. Mean well and we like the place. Just need breakfast option for children. Kid-friendliness: No breakfast option for children unless you want to feed them a peanut butter jelly or like for breakfast.

My wife and I enjoyed a perfect, casual date night here last Friday. Highly recommend the Surf & Turf tacos. We have enjoyed several brunches here and the staff was fantastic, as always.

Absolutely delightful to have them in Huntsville. We drove an hour and half way to have Sunday brunch. The menu was very vegan friendly instead of being an afterthought. The food was complex and tasty. Their drip coffee was great. They get all their food from local sources. The restaurant was humming at noon. We will definitely be back for dinner and many other brunches.

We had a really lovely lunch on the patio this fall. They have a sweet location! I dont eat out often and what I look for is healthy, vegan and delicious when I do! H&h checked all the boxes. We dont have enough healthy vegan options for dining out in HSV. I also LOVE that I could bring my mini-poodle ( I think thats still acceptable). This is the best restaurant Huntsville has had in awhile. My family and I had a blast on the patio and the food was phenomenal. I had the bayou shrimp tacos and the baked chocolate. My family loved what they got, too. I have been craving both every day since. 10 stars!

So many plant based options! Its so nice to have a restaurant like this in Huntsville. I had the florets tacos...cauliflower coated in go jujang sauce...yum! I had a cappuccino with oat milk and a coconut Pana Cota for dessert. I had a completely plant based meal with fresh ingredients and the service was great. If you are vegan or simply want a quality plant based meal, Hound and Harvest is the best place in Huntsville for you. Believe me, I search constantly and have found nothing like this place yet!

Honestly the sign and name of this restaurant threw me off. If my friend hadnt suggested we try it, I would have continued to drive by wondering and missing out on this experience all together. What I ordered had lots of flavor, it was a healthy choice for me, and delicious. The vibe and staff were friendly, the setup/layout is cute. The menu has something for everyone on it, and I would get what I ordered again. Vegetarian options: Forage bowl, Floret tacos, and Mexican Street corn as the side. Parking: During the lunch rush it could be challenging, other than that it works fine. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp, and parking options

Went here for brunch with my mom on a limb because we were just passing by and wow we were blown away. I got the chicken tacos and my mom got the steak salad. Both were absolutely delicious!!! Would definitely come back here!

Its a bit cramped inside but the stores got a good overall vibe. Food is really tasty and you get a decent amount for the price point. The menus are simple and easy to read, and they offered some really good sides as well. I definitely want to try the Mac and cheese the next time I go! They also allow dogs and have a yard for em outside. Vegetarian options: 2 out of the 5 main types of entrees were vegan or vegetarian. They looked tasty too im trying the mushroom one next time I go! Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Kid-friendliness: Theres a nice back yard and nothing that would bar children from being there.

This is one where more stars are needed. Wow!! Food was absolutely phenomenal! All sauces and dressing are made in house. I tried the blueberry vinaigrette for my salad and is was the right choice. All the ingredients were very fresh and the flavors are excellent. I can t wait to go back - this is now one of our favorite spots to eat. You NEED this food in your life as of yesterday!!

Very noisy. Person was on the phone while we stood waiting to place our order. No one refilling tea. No silverware. It just didnt seem like they cared. Food was good but rather mediocre for the price.

The food was phenomenal! Had the Cajun tacos, Forage Bowl, and muffins. Everything was delicious and came out super fast. Canby wait to come back. Only negative was the place was extremely loud inside. Its impossible to hear anyone sitting just across from you at the table.

This is a must try: muffins and bowls at breakfast and salads and protein bowls at lunch. Lets hope they will be opening for dinner also. The food is great, but the staff and service makes it go.

Really pretty place with tasty, fresh food and a fantastically friendly staff. The food was well prepared and the vegan pastries were delicious. The server was extremely interested in making sure we were well taken care of even though she had a very busy afternoon. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

First time visiting and we will be back! We had the floret tacos which were surprisingly good and very flavorful (I am not a vegetarian but would order them again). We tried the drink special (strawberry hibiscus latte) and it was delicious! Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The only negative is the parking, but at least there is an easier way to get out around the back.

Best food in Huntsville. Everything is so fresh and cooked to perfection. I hope this places grows and thrives for many years and can see this evolving into something big. They ve got it going on. This is what REAL food is. Not sure why there is lower reviews haha. Don t get discouraged if there is any lower reviews because everyone is having their own subjective experience in life, and you literally can t please everyone. Humans like to complain about anything and everything.

My new favorite Huntsville restaurant!

I had a wonderful experience at Hound and Harvest this afternoon for lunch, steak tacos were on point! The staff was expedient with taking my order and received my food quicker than expected! Look forward to bringing the family soon!

It s nice when colorful food tastes good too. Hound and Harvest did not disappoint! We had an excellent dinner date with the steak tacos and bayo bowl. It also seems to be very kid and dog friendly!

Great atmosphere and food. We sat outside and had a great time! Service was very fast-all food was made fresh to order and was delicious. Our party included ordered the tacos and the steak bowl, all of which were large portions and yummy.

As a former business owner (not a restaurant), I want to tread lightly as to not hurt this business. I absolutely love the food, but my last visit caused some issues. I ordered the Graze Bowl and the steak was very grisly, as was my husbands steak tacos. We ended up having to spit out a good portion of the meat into napkins. My bowl also didnt have much steak at all (maybe 4 strips). It was very busy that day and it could have been an issue of trying to get the food out and the portion got skimped on accidentally. The barley and corn was very plentiful, but almost too much. I was still hungry after my meal. My husbands meal was plenty portion-wise (3 large tacos), but it was the quality of the steak that was a let down. At $16 per plate, we expected better. Also, the noise level inside was at a roar. We sat very close to one another (bench table facing the window) and had to lean all the way into one another to converse. Perhaps some wall and ceiling sound absorbing treatments would remedy that issue. It was very exhausting to the ears to be in there, which caused us to eat quicker and leave. I want this restaurant to thrive because I love the menu, and I always want to support local. Parking is limited as well which is a problem, but the house is quaint and during non busy times, Im sure its just fine to get a parking spot.

I want to give this place 5 stars, as the food is really good. However, each time Ive been, the service has been painfully slow. The dining space is also cramped, and the layout has the kitchen access in a blind corner right by the ordering line, so it always feels like the servers are going to run into you with trays of food. Again, the food is great, but at this point I still hesitate to recommend it based on consistently slow service and unrelaxing atmosphere.

This was a tough review for me so please bear with me so I can explain. The bottom line is: it s good, but left something to be desired for. I m leaving my review at a 4 star for now until I can come back to try breakfast. I would recommend this place for lunch and will probably be back in the future. Explanation: I actually visited this place twice, the first time I got a latte and a muffin for a coffee date, the second time I stopped in for a late lunch with some friends. Both times, the food and drink were both very visually appealing, but the flavors left some to be desired for. The latte- unfortunately, it just wasn t that good. I took the baristas recommendation (I can t remember what it was) and it was very bland, not very hot, and just OK. The muffin was the same thing. For the second visit, I got the steak tacos, and the other people in my party for some salads. My steak tacos were good just not what I was expecting. The steak didn t taste like it just came off a grill and was put in a taco. I think the steak was either cold or heated up very mildly because the steak is intended to be in cold salads regardless, the tacos were good but just not what I was expecting. (On a side note, for $16 dollars, it s a little on the pricy side.) The salads my friends got were good and actually pretty large but they both described having interesting flavors (Ie. Shredded cheddar cheese on the steak salad with chili dressing.) the staff is very nice and the atmosphere is cool with the dog themes if you re into that. The patio is neat and provides some good hang out areas with some shade. Conclusion: if you ve gotten this far, all I ll say is we all liked it and felt like we ate good food when we left; just not really what we were expecting. I want to like this establishment so im going to try it for a third time and go in for breakfast and see if that s any better.

This was my first time eating Hound & Harvest. I placed a small catering order and it was wonderful! The parking lot was full but I called and Patrick provided multiple parking options and then helped me carry the order all the way to my car! The food was delicious and my team enjoyed it!

Food was delicious from salads to tacos with an emphasis on freshness. I took my dog to meet some friends and we started the day there which set the perfect tone for what ended up being a fabulous night.

I LOVE this place! Unfortunately only 3 stars for opening up at 10 instead of 8 or at least 9 so I cannot drop off my kids at school and go there. The other reason is no wi-fi but they have a ton of outlets. I really really like this place but I cant go often due to these reasons.

Ive been wanting to try this place and I finally went today. I went around lunch time and was a little surprised at how busy it was for a Thursday. I got the bayou fresh bowl and I was blown away. It was worth the wait and this place will now be a regular spot for me. I cant wait to try EVERYTHING.

The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was friendly. The dining room and exterior was aesthetically pleasing and clean. Music in the dining area was a bit loud but they played good selections. Will definitely return.

This is a fun little place. We were very excited to go for dinner, we ordered the surf and turf tacos. They were ok nothing I would run back for. On a brighter note the street corn was very good. Service was very discombobulated and took away from the experience. I dont see is going back in the future.

Read reviews and was excited however our experience was poor. The beet salad was ok and acceptable, the Mac and cheese was mediocre but the Philly Cheese steak was the absolute worst sandwich I have ever had. If I took a picture and posted it would be an embarrassment to this establishment. Two small pieces of bread with a small/ two tablespoons of chopped meat no onions or bell peppers and no cheese just a little mayonnaise based sauce. Unbelievable, was going to mention this to server but after they drop off the food no return of server. Cannot believe something like that would be allowed out of the kitchen, the bowls looked pretty good so that may be the way to go.

First ever visit. Its not my kind of food. Very expensive for what you get. Need a side beside potato chips. They say dogs are welcome but not allowed inside. If you are by yourself, you cant go in to order.

Hound and Harvest did a catering event at my job. I have heard about this restaurant but had not been before. I will say I was really satisfied with my food. It was a nice healthy bowl with rice, corn, chicken and cauliflower. They placed this green sauce on top. I was not sure if I was going to be full but I was. They were very nice and polite. I look forward to eating at the restaurant in the future.

Stopped by and got an old fashioned which was excellent. Decided to come back for breakfast and That steak breakfast burrito slams. Hopefully I can come back and try the lunch and dinner menu.

Really delicious, healthy food. We got a Southwest Chicken Salad and Graze Bowl. Decent beer options (canned) and cocktails as well. We enjoyed being able to sit outside with the pups. Service was very quick as well.

It was a beautiful day and we were able to enjoy it with a peanut butter espresso martini and a rainbow sherbet sour beer. I ate steak tacos. Not your typical flavors when you think steak tacos. They were really good though and I would order them again. My wife had some kind of salad probably and I know she enjoyed it as well. Great place that I want to go back to again.

I went to Hound and Harvest twice. I was really excited about the place because they have vegetarian options. The first time I placed my order for pickup over the phone and I was not impressed with what I got. The food was overpriced for the quantity and quality of food. The second time I ordered a tofu burrito to-go but the tofu was missing, the potatoes were undercooked, and the smell of the food was unappetizing. Overall I was disappointed. I spent $50 at this establishment eating for 1 and didn t like anything I ate. I will not be returning.

We ordered the graze and bayou bowls. The flavors were delicious and very complimentary on the palate. The food was fast and the staff was very friendly. The bowls reminded me of the amazing flavors of the Satuli canteen in Pandora Animal Kingdom. My only suggestion is my shrimp was overcooked.

My wife originally came here for lunch which is the first picture. She absolutely loved it. So much so that I couldn t go a week without hearing about it for 3 months. Then we made our way back to Huntsville for other reasons and got breakfast. We both agreed the breakfast was kind of mid. That s the 2nd picture. My wife got the Graze Bowl and claims it was the most delicious thing she s ever eaten. She got to sit inside and said the service was top notch and the atmosphere is amazing. Also they claim to be Dog Friendly, which outside they are but pets are not welcome inside. So beware if you go alone with your dog there is no way to order food. They also say there are stakes outside to pin your dog to, however my dog personally cannot be left alone outside without a fully enclosed area which makes me nervous. When we went for breakfast I got the Hot Tamale Bowl. I thought it was alright, nothing special. But obviously the service was still great. Overall 4 out of 5. Definitely will come back for lunch next time.
