Update! Dec 19th, 2024 Had dinner last night. Pretzels and beer and my boyfriend had the Dirty Burger and fries. He loved it. Food was delicious and hot. Server was attentive. Over all good experience. We have been a few times but tonight was the best experience yet. Restaurant was not too full. We ordered the double hot pretzel app...man are they HUGE . The wings were cooked to perfection with a light crisp coating and yes, beer to wash it all down.

Our server Rick was very attentive and helpful with area information. We enjoyed the showcase burger which was a Venison sloppy Joe and the Fried Tofu Burger. Highly recommend the tofu burger, absolutely delicious! Vegetarian options: The Fried Tofu Burger is amazing! The tofu is pickled then coated in panko and fried. With pickled zucchini s, it s delish Wheelchair accessibility: There is a chair elevator to take you down to the restaurant which is in the lower level of the building.

Great food and service. Some good gluten free options as well.

Drove up from Bowmanville, started with some amazing nachos and a pint, then the dirty burger, my wife had the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Undoubtedly the best meal Ive had in a long time. Food

A lovely and cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Our group of 4 all ordered the standard burger and it was fantastic! The fries were made to perfect crispiness & softness as well. They also make their own ketchup, so worth getting something with fries.

A really nice place to eat. Lovely service, fair prices and soooo good burgers. Also a good bar to taste local beer. If I ever will come back I will eat dinner here again. Thank you very much for the good time.

Nice pub like resto! We had wings and poutine. Bbq wings were good but honey garlic tasted fishy. Poutine not bad but you can keep the rosemary! lol. Service was superb!! Food

We called 15 minutes before our arrival and inquired about the wait times for 3 people (it was a Thanksgiving Monday) The staff ensured us we don t need to book a table and should just come by and we did so. We got surprised when the host told us the kitchen was overloaded and we have to wait at the bar for 30 minutes before ordering the food - we were cool with that since the menu looked promising and it looked like a perfect spot after backpacking in Algonquin We were patiently waiting for 40 minutes, already chose all the dishes, and were ready to treat ourselves after a great trip I decided to casually asked if the table is ready and server replied without hesitation right away: it s 45 MORE minutes before you can order food We were shocked and astonished with such situation so she KNEW we wouldn t get food for the next 1:15 hours (45 to order and assuming 30 mins to get food) - and she said NOTHING. Not even sorry, she totally didn t care about the fact she lied to us The place looks great, I guess they have good beer but this is just awful. Be mindful if they tell you no need to book or when they give you estimate about wait times. They may be just lying

Came in for a beer and ended up with more. Great draft beer and shareables. You have to try their in-house ketchup and hot sauce. Shoutout to Murray for being an amazing host.

Simply the best meal I have had in a long time. I was totally shocked as I did not expect the flavour to be so delicious for pub food. I had the trout melt and soup of the day. I enjoyed every bite!

NOT DOG FRIENDLY ANYMORE :( Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. That being said, if you re not with your dog the food, service and beer are all great. Too bad the dog s on the patio policy changed making it unlikely I ll be back. On The Docks just down the street still welcomes dogs.

My mom and I were visiting from Niagara region and so this was our first time stopping at this restaurant. All I have to say is this place is incredible!!! The staff are so extremely friendly, the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is awesome!!! We also got to hear live music, which the person was so talented and it was beautiful to listen to while eatting. Thank you for such an amazing experience!! Cant wait to come back!!

Food very tasty. The portions are smaller than expected, but youll still feel full. The service is first class. Anyone who ever comes to Huntsville should go there.

A hidden gem in downtown Huntsville! Nothing but outstanding experiences here; the servers are class acts and boy do they know their beer. The onion rings with maple aioli are to die for!! And the kitchen has the basics down to a science, I was served the best caesar salad I ve ever had in my life at this restaurant. I ve made some wonderful memories at these tables, and can t wait to come back again and again!

We were so shocked at the amount of food we had, our families the next morning were raving about all of it. Everything was chefs kiss, I dont even know how to explain how much we were impressed - we knew the food, the service & everything in between would be great but you exceeded our expectations to infinity & beyond. Ordered brisket sandwich with fries.. just ok.. nothing special.. just tasted Mediocre. Also ordered Cobb salad, chicken was chewy and tasted weird. Salad tasted processed. Had the server take it back.. only gave me 50 % off. Server was kind.

Came here for dinner before a camping trip up in the woods. Staff was very welcoming right from the beginning and offered to let us try any beer they had to see if we liked it. I ordered the blacken trout tacos. It only came with 2 tacos but they were massive. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I could have just had the fish on its own with a plain rice and I would have been happy. My friends got the nashville hot chicken sandwich which was crispy and a decent size portion. Would return if I was in the area.

Extremely small portions for the price. Waited a long time for our food to come. No water refill. Unfortunately, we left hungry.

I am very disappointed. I ve been here before with my wife ..(I believe it was the off-season) We enjoyed a few of their beers and a bite to eat. I figured I would try it again as I m here for work. I was seated at the bar, which was fine. I sat for over 10 minutes, probably closer to 15 and nobody acknowledged me or offered me something to drink. I let the girl that seated me know what had happened and then I left. On A sidenote Boston pizza was really good!

This is the place to go here. Fantastic food, fantastic service and a nice looking restaurant. You never want to eat other than there. And Greg is also a very nice guy. Give him a salary raise!

This place is our go-to in Huntsville. The trout tacos and flatbread are amazing. The reason I am writing this review is because they used to sell the best wings I have ever had. You guys changed the recipe to some new smoked recipes and they are awful. Like inedible. We tried 3 flavours and all 3 were just awful. No flavour beyond smoke, poor texture, and so salty we couldnt eat them. We used to always go in out of our way to get the honey bee garlic wings with your house sauce. But they are horrible now. Please go back to the old format! Still giving five stars for everything else but the wings went from 5/5 to 0/5.

Good brewery to dine, and try the local beer, they are all made in-house, there are 16 different ones. For dinner we ordered a board of 5 small beers each, and so we tried more. We had nachos for dinner, which were pretty good, some chicken wings with BBQ sauce and a Brewhouse salad. The beers we drank were very good, chosen by our waiter, Rick, who was very friendly throughout the night. The dinner was animated by live music, with rock songs, which we love, very well chosen by the singer. The dessert was chocolate cokkie with vanilla ice cream and caramelized cherries, incredible

Local person hosted our dinner for three. Two orders of fish & chips. Single cod fish. Frozen mini battered fish , coleslaw and frozen fries for $23. $9 Pilsner beer. Not the prices to attract tourists or locals. Bad news like this will travel faster by the locals than compliments.

Again this for the last time ,unless the manger has a valid explanation ..for a simple 6 pack of the same beer its always a discrepancy from the last purchase . The environment is so welcoming and lovely to be in; great for some laughs. The food was excellent, especially the nachos and the onion rings; fantastic Kid-friendliness: They are very gentle and caring when it come to kids, so youre all good!

Amazing little pub in the heart of Huntsville. Our food was superb which included an excellently spiced and moist Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The blackened trout tacos were very fresh and full of flavour. And the dessert was outstanding. A peach and cranberry cobbler with incredible made in-house ice cream. Beer pours were crisp and refreshing. But what made the whole dinner very special was the service. Our server Greg was an absolute gem. Attentive, knowledgable and respectful. Made the whole experience a real 10/10. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Last night, based on the suggestion of our server, who was excellent, recommended we may wish to try a new dinner option, Spaghetti with Venison meatballs. We both ordered this new menu item. Amazing. Exceeded expectations. Went back to give the Chef a huge thumbs up. The LOB beer was, as usual, fantastic. Thank you for delivering a wonderful meal and experience. Great spot with fabulous food! My son brought us here as hes a huge fan and has enjoyed everything hes tried so far. I had the brisket sandwich and found it was a good portion, not overboard. Hubby had a brisket chili, which I sampled and loved this unique combo. The service was friendly with just the right amount of attention. Looking forward to trying more items!

We were so hungry on our way back from Toronto so we stopped to look for something. We were really looking for salad or veggies or something good as we ate not as great this weekend and really needed it. We walked up the street and found most things were closed on Sunday but almost walked past this little bar and decided to go in. We got the Double BLT with a salad and a portobello bowl, they were both amazing. We really weren t expecting that much but the price for both and the taste was so good! I strongly recommend! Vegetarian options: The portobello bowl was amazing! Parking: Really busy area, hard to find parking

Such a cozy little spot and popular for good reason. Make a reservation in advance if you can. The service is quick and warm. We loved our servers beer and food recommendations. I especially enjoyed their onion rings and both our burgers (chicken and brisket).

They dont take many reservations on a Saturday night. We missed the reservation window and had to wait for a table (no big deal), it wasnt too long of a wait. Once we got to the table our server Natalie was attentive. She made suggestions for drink and food based on my allergy. I found the menu hard to find something appealing to eat with a gluten intolerant even though they have markers on the menu, but I managed to find something to eat. The kids menu was okay. My daughter found the Mac and cheese to be on the bland side. Our service was slow. It took a long time to receive our food. We were eventually told that a large group got their order in before us and that ours was being prepared. We ate and had the bill rushed as we were on a timeline for an activity. The food prices are quite high, given what we received. Average meal is $20 and up. Kids menu are $13 + drink. (I was disappointed that nachos were $28 with meat being an added cost). Overall the atmosphere was good and my husband enjoyed the beer, we bought some things to take home from the retail store. I dont think we would return for a full meal, but maybe a pint and a shared platter. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten intolerant. Although the menu has a gluten free and gluten aware markers I still found it hard to find something appealing to eat. Parking: We had to park up the hill and around the corner. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, however the options werent great and my daughter wasnt a fan of the bland Mac & Cheese.

Huntsville Brewhouse is a must visit when visiting Huntsville! The restaurant is charming & gives you a lodge type feel. Food was excellent. We ordered the Trout & Artichoke dip, Mac & Cheese & the Chicken Sandwich. All were delicious and would definitely order again. The beer was also great and you can get flights so you can try a bunch. They also have a non-alcoholic beer that tastes great! Our server Greg provided great service & even suggested some other sights to visit in the area. Back again on our yearly Family Day Huntsville vacation! Murray was a great server and had fun with our table. Delicious food and beer as we expected it d be. This time had the artichoke hearts, trout tacos and brisket tacos!

10 out of 10. Everything was so good, and large meals. The dirty burger and fried chicken burger were great. We had a flight which was good, I enjoyed all the flavors. Nachos were good, there was layers of cheese and toppings at the bottom, not just plain dry chips. It was my birthday so I got a dessert on the house which was an apple crumble, so good. Only negatives were the service, It was a tad slow, but the restaurant was quite busy. Our Nachos took long bc they accidentally burnt them, so they made another platter for us.

What a fantastic meal!!! We had the brisket sandwich and dirty burger! Incredible! The homemade ketchup was a great touch!! We will be stopping here again!

We had an amazing lunch here on a recent visit to Huntsville. Our server Laura was terrific. She brought us a tasting of a beer were were considering purchasing and then brought the 6 pack to our table and added it to our bill for us. She really went above and beyond. My husband really enjoyed his burger and I had the fish tacos which I have to say were the best fish tacos I have ever had.

I had the fish and chips, plus a couple beers of course. Everything was great.

Frequently in the Huntsville area for work and ALWAYS make a point of stopping by for a pint and quick meal. Great drinks, fantastic food, great company, and friendly atmosphere. Very well thought out good menu, great selections for multiple tastes. Very friendly environment, whether it s fellow customers or the fantastic staff.

This place is a total gem. Service is exceptional - we were treated like we were the only ones in the place even when it was absolutely packed. And they treated my 4-year-old like gold (not all breweries do, or would). Food is A+, beer is top notch. We love this place and will visit it anytime we come through Huntsville!!

Nice selection of beers. Really liked the crispy chicken burger & onion soup. The blackened trout tacos is just a piece of fish on a bed of greens could really use a few more toppings for the price or at least provide a 3rd taco. Not worth it otherwise.

Really nice spot. Stopped here for a drink and some appetizers. Dog friendly patio. Very friendly staff. The only thing I had an issue with was I went to check out their merch and they had a small, very cheap feeling dog toy for sale. It was $25 and felt like any dog would tear it apart in seconds, so definitely not worth that price, which was sad because it was a cute toy, but not for $25. My rating of the place doesn t go down for that though because that really has nothing to do with the restaurant. Just something that annoyed me a little lol. But all in all it s a great place to check out right along the main road in Huntsville.

Im gonna regret this... Shhhhhh, dont tell anyone, but BEST brunch in area, by a mile! Great original, fun fusiony fare on weekends. Have tried a number of items on menu over past few visits and all have been super yummy. The Smoked Brisket Skillet is awesome and enough for ANYONE! Do me a favour and pretend you didnt see this, line up at another place or a local greasy. Most seem to be following this already. I love short or no line places, please dont come here! Seriously though, do, its the bomb dot com!

As a group of four visiting Huntsville we ate at the Huntsville Brewhouse twice. Both times the food and service was great. I appreciated how the staff helped each other out and kept the food and drinks moving. Very friendly and attentive staff. Consistently good food. Wonderful.

This is one of the best choices for a meal in Huntsville! By far! Went there twice this week during our vacation and no regrets. Awesome and friendly staff. All of our orders in our group were fantastic choices. Love the brew choices and staff are very accommodating to sampling. The chicken pot pie choice was a hit and I love the vegetarian options on the menu. Everything hand made from burgers to sauces to condiments. We would go back in a minute!

Simply excellent food. I dont drink, so I tend to avoid restaurants that are breweries, but I love this place. Today three of us had Curry Dill hummus, chicken sandwiches and a burger with sweet potatoe fries, onion rings and regular fries We loved everything.

The best service I ve had in Huntsville so far. I literally am still at the table eating but the sweet potato fries and sliders are to DIE FOR!!! Bruce took care of us and he was so helpful as we were stuck between two beers of choice. Go here. Just do it. And get the sweet potato fries!!!

Our family of 4 enjoyed the excellent brew on tap, food that we all cleaned up our plates, and friendly service from Bekka who was kind and attentive and lovely! Highly recommend!

The food was excellent. The burgers were the best weve had in a long time. Good and very friendly service. It was also extremely positive that, in contrast to other restaurants here, a lot of emphasis is placed on environmental protection, e.g. paper straws, ketchup in small paper cups and real dishes. Unfortunately, this is not (yet) a given in Canada

Saw the menu online and was looking forward to the trout tacos all day. As per usual the food exceeded expectations, as did the service. Hilda was super friendly, attentive and knew her stuff! 10/10 all around.

We heard from one of the people I. The Outfitters down the street that this was the place to go. 9 of us had traveled out of Algonquin that day and were yearning for a nice meal. Luckily for them, we stopped for a shower before dining in. We went in and were promptly greeted then seated at a long table. I had an IPA, a delicious chicken sandwich and some steak cut fries. The house ketchup was a good pairing although an interesting take on the classic. My Dad was the dinner winner as he ordered what he called the best French onion soup he has ever had along with a chicken dish over Yorkshire pudding. The young women that helped us were wonderful with suggestions and very accommodating even seamlessly tracking all the individual checks we had in our big group. Definitely the place to go whenever youre in the area, I know itll be on my list of favorite Algonquin area eateries.

Great atmosphere and great variety of foods. Everything was delicious and I really enjoyed the Lift Lock craft beer. I m not a big fan of craft beer but this one was very enjoyable. You can purchase the beer onsite and they have such a great variety of swag. Very friendly.

This place has excellent service. we had a small issue with their wings and the waitress brought a sample for us to test and gave us different sauces to try! I was very satisfied. The food was overall good, nice ambiance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a good time. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant provided baby seats.

Great food great service and lots of beer, how can you go wrong

The food is great here! Very fresh and tasty! The servers are very welcoming and kind. The only thing I wish they would improve is the sitting area. Very tight and can get very crowded. But other than the sitting area highly recommend the food.

Huntsville Brewhouse is a must visit when visiting Huntsville! This charming restaurant gives a good vibe and the Food was delicious too. The beer was different as its offers flavors to it and it was also great. Our server was super nice. Our overall experience was very pleasant.

Three of us ordered the Smokey Brisket Tacos. It was as much fat as beef. I thought brisket was supposed to be lean? The sauce is still burning through me. Add one plate of a small burger, onion rings and six beers, it adds up to $200. No thanks.

Had the most excellent heart warming meal. Home on a plate, with a hug. ROASTED CHICKEN AND YORKSHIRE served in a giant yorkshore as a bowl with lots of gravy, mashed and veggies. Fantastic flavors. Enjoyed a delicious flat bread and salad as well. Wide selection of beer brewed onsite. Murray was an extremely pleasant and informed server. Thank you!

Wonderful beer bar with sixteen different beer and I had a black draft beer. The waitress are very nice. Highly recommend.

Stopped into the place for a bite to eat. Absolutely fantastic selection of Lake of Bays beers and spirits. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend one of the poutine dishes. And, to top everything, they even had some awesome merch, including this pups new favourite toy!

Me and my wife went in a couple of days ago for lunch, She has celiac disease. Before we came in we looked at the menu online, we saw that they had a couple of choices that were gluten free. On the menu it said the sweet potato fries, waffle fries and nachos where gluten free. We ordered our drinks then asked our server about the gluten free options. The server said no, none of these are gluten free as we dont have a gluten free fryer. So she ended up having the only salad option available for her with some chicken. You guys should update your menu and take the gluten free sign off these items, as they are not gluten-free. Or get a deep fryer for celiac people. Dietary restrictions: Celiac

We stopped in for a quick pint and a bite eat. The service was great, staff was friendly and courteous. I have had LB beer before but have never been to this spot. It was surprisingly busier than I would have imagined for lunch time on a Tuesday. The food was good, and the beer was tasty. We will be back next time we are in Huntsville.

Had the Mac &Cheese a few days ago for dinner with a pint of beer- came to $38 Gauging customers is disgraceful! I am coming to Huntsville quite often but never back to this pub! Food

Casual atmosphere with a pub feel, but most importantly the food is very good. And there is craft beer. The mains weve tried are all good (current fav is the buttermilk chicken sandwich). And they rotate their own line of craft beer (lake of bays brewery), some if which is brewed on-site. Best similar option in Huntsville for food and beverages. Parking: Limited in front street parking (downtown Huntsville), but there is plenty of parking up the hill in-behind, or a short walk to the lots by the marina. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift from street level down to the front door. The restaurant is in the basement of the building with stairs down (and the lift) from street level.

Always amazing food. Excellent & creative vegetarian options (translation: as a vegetarian, you are not stuck just eating a veggie wrap ).

Nice and neat place. Parking at rear with a kind of free all day (machine is out of order) I tried almost all kind of beer what they brewed. it tastes fresh and tastes. Specially some kind of brews donate $2 to Ukraine. I order Prezel (2 big prezels and sauce) and have a leftover 1 whole thing. Foods are nice and taste good. But burger is small and simple. Serve are kind and welcomed.

Visited for lunch and a couple brews. Murray, our server was AMAZING. Food and drink were equally great. 10/10 recommend .especially if you can get Murray as a server.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch while in town for a wedding and we were both blown away by the whole experience! The atmosphere is cute, love that you can see where the beer is made too. We thought the couple of tables that you can sit at where you are technically outside were super unique. We tried Off the Grid and Jasmine beers and they were both amazing. We wished we could have stayed to try more but had to get going. We had the smoked beef brisket tacos and the turkey burger to eat and from the very first bite we knew it was the most amazing meal wed ever have. Everything is made in house, down to the delicious maple aioli I dipped my fries in! We left very satisfyingly full. Special thanks to our server Murray who was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable right off the bat! Thank you so much for making our lunch even more enjoyable. Could not say enough good things about our visit and we hope to be able to return soon!

I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was just excellent. The portions are large and generous. The buttered pretzels are to amazing.

Service was fantastic, menu has a good variety of selections. Good beer selections. Food was delicious, only 4 stars as my Brisket on the Mac and Cheese was a bit tough.

My Mother and I went there for lunch pre construction. The staff was very good and friendly. I asked about the caesar salad and she got me a small taste of the dressing, which was excellent. All the food we ordered was delicious. I would love to go back again a lot. Unfortunately since they took away all that parking downtown, it makes it impossible for me to get there, as I have to carry oxygen and use a walker. I dont live in town, so delivery is not possible. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food and fresh beer, great spot for lunch or dinner.

Fries are great. $18 for mac and cheese +$5 for bacon. FYI to the restaurant Mac means macaroni pasta but these are spirals? Why exactly would you do this? Quality of this menu item was kids menu grade. For $23 I am expecting something pretty gourmet. Bacon was just (obviously) old, dried up microscopic sized bits. I was expecting nice fresh chunks of thick peppercorn bacon or something. Picture is from the takeout container, but it s original plate presentation looked pretty much the same, i.e. underwhelming.

Adding a single slice of orange coloured cheddar for $3 doesn t work for me. Just have cheeseburger on the menu and charge for it inclusive. Or possibly it did. Do not order a Caesar salad. Dressing is ugh and not even close to a Caesar. Seafood chowder very good! Pint of beer $8 and 1/2 pint $5.75. Beer (red) good. Service also good.

Ordered lunch. French onion soup was very salty along with the smoked beef sandwich. (Very small for $18 and the end of bag of fries) French fries are cheap and we got the little pieces ) Im not a beer drinker, (which my spouse is)ordered a glass of Red wine which was horrific. I sent it back and was charged full price $15.95 And when I questioned the charge, the waitress said the MANAGER stated they could not take the charge off, because they cant reuse the wine she stated, they tasted the wine and it was good. But.....she also stated, we are not wine contesuers. I will never return. Rediculous. Also staff eating where they serve the food. Just not for me. Will not return.

We visited the Huntsville Brewhouse twice during our stay in the region recently. Excellent service by both servers; Murray and we dont recall the girls name who served us the first time we visited. The food was excellent also. The first time we shared the blackened trout taco and hamburger. Both excellent. The second time we visited we had the tomatoe soup, which was delicious, the blackened trout taco (awesome) and mac and cheese; excellent and very cheesy. Not to mention, they have a great selection of beer, and offered us a taste of a few we were considering. We would highly recommend.

Located in the basement, this place offers a nice environment to enjoy a meal or a drink. They have great food and excellent service. Also, they have one of the best pretzels Ive ever eaten!

We discovered the Huntsville Brewhouse on our latest camping trip to the area. Laurie and Bruce make you feel so welcome from the time you step in the door, beers and food were all great and the prices more than fair. Be sure to visit when you are in town.

Great restaurant. They have a great selection of locally brewed beers and good, upscaled pub food. Our server was really great, very friendly and attentive. It was very busy and she did her best to make sure everyone was taken care of. All the food was hot and most importantly tasted great. If you are in the area Id recommend a stop here.

The beer was super tasty and the food was amazing! Great service in a cozy atmosphere. Came here on a Monday night and it was super busy! Everything still came quickly and nice and hot.

We had 2 meals, the dirty burger was perfect in taste (and sufficient...Im 1.94 m). The wrap wasnt huge, but tasted good. Nice atmosphere, fast service and delicious beers.

great selections of beers, good food, and knowledgeable & kind staff! we ordered two samplers to taste as many variety of beers as we can, and the staff explained well about each beer s flavour so that we can select what we like. burger patty was juicy with soft and fresh bun, even onion rings were perfect! home made ketchup and alio dip were served with sweet potato fries, and we liked them too.

Food was mediocre. We waited 55 mins for service, when we asked how much longer, we were told when I go get it. Food arrived cold, we had to ask for the final persons meal to come out. Ive never felt compelled to leave a negative review but I was actually shocked by the level of neglect we recieved. Didnt even come by to refill out water in that 55 min wait or while we ate.

Stopped here for lunch after two days away camping. Went in hungry and left perfectly satiated. Great beers, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the blackened trout tacos and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich. Melissa was our server, she is awesome, super friendly. Will 1000% be back next time we re in the area!

Top notch service! Good beer and amazing food! I had the blackened rainbow trout fish tacos with the house hot sauce and it was just simply amazing. A great place to visit and partake of some quality food and libations.

The food is great, but more importantly, consistently great. Ive never had a bad experience in the years Ive been going. The new menu added a lot of well needed variety, but there is still the classic pub fare that youd expect from the Brewhouse.
