The service is amazing and the place has a nice and clean look with a minimalist design. We ordered two pastas and chicken nuggets for my son. The Alfredo pasta wwas brilliant, however the Tomato basil pasta was salty and we werent able to finish it. For the rates I think such mistakes are not expected

Great breakfast spot

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday so we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but it was worth it. Food was so tasty. Service was friendly. The Caesar salad is so good.

Service was okay, but there wasn t much interaction from the waitress. The food was mediocre overall especially disappointed with the bacon pear brie burger. The patty seemed undercooked, much too pink, and the top bun was completely cold when it arrived at the table. The flavors were also bland and underseasoned

My husband wasn t hungry so we were going to share the soup of the day and roast beef dip. When my order arrived it was split onto two separate plates with our own pickles, soup, au jus and 1/2 sandwich each. We were pleasantly surprised at the effort and thoughtfulness into our shared meal. Btw the food was incredible! Our server was a wonderful lady named Carrie who was pleasant and attentive. Definitely check this amazing local restaurant!

Love this place. We drive 2 1/2hrs to spend the day in town & eat here. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is amazing. Love the pork chop dish as well. The servings are robust. Weve enjoyed everything weve eaten here. Service is great as well as the staff being friendly and warm.

Disability access is not good for independent wheelchair users, with no accessible toilet at all. Toilets are down a flight of stairs and entrance doors cannot accommodate a wheelchair. Stopped in for a quick brunch on our way to the park, we had the chicken burrito bowl and smoked meat sandwich. Everything was delicious, with especially good fries and the perfect piece of chicken. Service was lovely too, thank you Carrie!

Slow kitchen service, restaurant was half full, about 10am on a Friday. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Pancakes, bacon, sausages and fresh squeezed orange juice were good. Wasnt too happy w the steak and eggs. Ordered 2 medium steak and eggs, recieved 2 dry well done steaks and burnt black potatoes. They replaced w a medium steak, I didnt want new potatoes... The restaurant was comfortable but the washrooms were full of fruit flies, about 30 flying around the womens washroom. Surprised there was no effort to clear the fruit flies. Kitchen replaced the food but didnt make an effort to apologize for sending out a bad meal. The replacement steak was cooked properly. I probably wont return.

Fish and chips to die for. Great portion, with Cesar salad made with house made dressing, and coleslaw. Chese cake and coconut cream pie. Amazing. The service was extremely pleasant. Looking forward for next visit.

Excellent Brunch! Our waitress and front hostess were excellent! Definitely recommend as food was 5/5 and so was service. As far out of town visitors (western Canada), this was a great place to eat and visit.

Appreciate the vegan, vegetarian, gluten free choices. Very limited beer menu. My chicken Caesar wrap was not good. Had a very peculiar taste I didnt like, not sure what it was but it wasnt a Caesar dressing. My husband took a bite & immediately said no thats not good. I ate half of a half. Butternut soup was good if a little bland. Overall underwhelmed by the food.

We had Main St Local chef cater an event at our lake house and it was an incredible experience. The food was all local & fresh from the farmers market and super tasty. The chef and server gave us extreme care and made us feel spoiled for the evening. I would absolutely recommend Main St Local and their catering services. Dietary restrictions: They took special care to adapt the meals for the guests with dietary restrictions.

Nice little breakfast nook on main street Huntsville

We have been to Main St Local several times. We really want to love this place but each time something is off about our meal. We ordered the red snapper meal which is one of the more costly items on the menu but the worst fish meal I ve ever had. The whole meal was extremely dry - just a small portion of avocado salsa tucked under the fish that left much to be desired. The roasted potatoes, recommended by our server, were clearly several days old and reheated (shrivelled up and very tough to chew), and the veggies, meant to be roasted, were all crunchy as though they had hardly been cooked - celery, broccoli and carrot. Think of school lunchbox crunch. They might ve been okay if properly roasted. To top it off, most of the meal, but especially the veggies, were covered in dried oregano adding an unnecessary and strange element of heat to the meal. We cook a lot at home and fish/veg/potatoes is an easy and delicious meal when cooked fresh and done well. The staff is very friendly and hospitable, but overall we left disappointed.

Ordered the burger as a typically tasty choice at any restaurant. Extremely dry over cooked and not seasoned. Fries were stale. Kids steak not seasoned. Chicken parm and pastas were okay. For 9 years in the biz I expected more. Most of the good reviews are about breakfast, not lunch/dinner

Very clean pleasant restaurant which is a great alternative to the typical breakfast chains you get in Toronto. You re not packed in like sardines and you can have a conversation with your table mates without having to raise your voice. Food was good quality breakfast food which I know isn t gourmet fare but you can tell it was not rushed by an overworked kitchen. Owner is a nice guy who s making a go of it in a tough business with a short tourist season so I think he deserves my support. I ll be back whenever I m in town.

The location is prime, right next the parking lot. Staff was very welcoming. Food was so so. We ordered Onion rings, potato & Onion soup in the appetizer. For the mains we ordered their Tofu pasta and that day special chicken with veg. The soup was tasty. Chicken dish was okay. The pasta was sour. May be it was the sauce.

Service was amazing. But they did me dirty with this steak man dog food overcooked steak for real. My husband and I always love coming here when we can. We love all things local and food here is delicious! The owners and staff are so friendly and receptive. We booked our wedding dinner (of 31 persons) here and loved it. The table and chairs layout we came up with is going to be put out there for future events if it works for others as well. Shout out to Mica, Ryan and Christina! Thank you for being apart of this amazing restaurant, because without people like them, we wouldnt love this place as much as we do.

Great local find. This place has been on my radar since walking by it last year so naturally when visiting this year we stopped in. Im always on the hunt for great little local gems and this one I will return to again. We came in on a Monday at noon with 2 adults & 2 children. We ordered french onion soup, eggs & peamel bacon, pancakes & an omelette. Great fresh food. Coming in at noon and ordering breakfast can be iffy sometimes but everything on my plate was fresh and made with care. Food was great all around even the garnishs on the plate were happy healthy orange slices. You can tell a lot by a restaurant by the garnishes on the plate and the care of the salt & pepper shakers on the table. Atmosphere is bright, clean & fresh and has a great local crowd for lunch. Our server was wonderful as was the support staff. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu avail.

Stopped in for a quick bite without a reservation and these guys fit my girlfriend and I right in. Amazing food, good portions, very prompt service. Everyone has a smile. The cooks were even chatting and laughing. All around good small town atmosphere.

We stopped in on a Friday evening while on the road to Muskoka. The service was incredible from the minute we stepped inside. We had our food within 10 minutes of sitting down. The pasta and chicken caesar wrap were incredible! Definitely give this place a try if you re in the area!

I had the pork & pear. It was THE BEST pork chop I have ever had! And also a delicious cesar to drink :) The open atmosphere is not what I am used to in a restaurant, but it wasnt too busy when I went (7pm on a Thursday in early March) so the other patrons werent a bother. Highly recommend eating here if you are in the Huntsville area and looking to enjoy locally sourced, delicious food!

Bright and welcoming space with a lovely atmosphere! We enjoyed breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Received a table for 4 right away, and our meals arrived super quickly. Portions were very generous, and food was fresh, hot and delicious. Appreciated our server s warm personality, and her suggestion to split a meal with my preschool aged daughter because of the huge portions. The best restaurant experience we ve had in a long while. Great job to everyone making this such a welcoming local spot.

I think this is a 3.5 stars. Service is excellent and our server Michael is very friendly and polite. Based on other reviews, I was having a high expectation. Food is a little over priced. We ordered fish and chips, sandwich and a burrito bowl and paid $100. Overall we did have a great experience and the cook came out to greet us too :). Make sure you make reservation if you don t want to wait.

I love the Local and although the burgers are homemade they were a little bland, lacked flavour. Atmosphere is always spot on and the service was too notch! Our server was spectacular!

The beef squared burger is one of the most beefy things Ive ever had in my entire life. It was delicious. The fries were a little under cooked and tasted like the fry oil needed to be replaced. Service was excellent, friendly, and prompt.

Before coming to this restaurant, I had read many google reviews and they were very positive. I just do not know, but our experience was not. First of all, the service started out very poorly, we had to go to the front and get menus ourselves. I ordered breakfast, eggs, peameal, home fries and toast. My friend ordered the western sandwich and fries. When our food arrived, we still did not have cutlery or napkins. The eggs were cooked well, peameal was thin but okay, however the home fries were atrocious. It was like someone took some cooked potatoes and bashed them about and put them on a plate. There was no taste and absolutely no crispiness that you expect from home fries - the fry was missing! My friends western was good but again, her fries were terrible. The waiter followed up and I told him about the home fries, he said that they were supposed to be that way?? He offered something else and I asked for fries. A huge plate of fries arrived but I could only eat a few because they were awful, no flavour, crunchy on the outside but mooshy inside. We were very disappointed.

Mixed. The service is welcoming and pleasant, without being too pushy. On the other hand, I am more reserved about the dishes: we had focused on an original burger (see photos) but the meat was so dry despite being very thick but small in size. The bread was premium but you couldnt taste any of the toppings, too bad for the Brie, the pear chutney (I presume) and the little slices of bacon. The homemade onion rings were really very successful (well done), however the fries were mushy and quite a few of them were gray on the inside: which should not be served to customers. Make up for it with dessert? Alas, the simple scoop of ice cream at $6 or the cheesecake at $12 made us give up. In the end, $100 for 3 burgers and a dish of tomato fusilli is not worth the experience we had. Conclusion: this is perhaps just a dish to improve; the rest of the card looked nice

Stopped in for breakfast, food and service was awesome. Will definitely go back and try some other menu options. My only complaint would be that it was very noisy with all the different conversations going on at the different tables. Nothing a few acoustic panels through out the dining area couldnt solve.

We came at the end of dinner service so it took about 5 min to clear the table. While we waited we were able to look at the hot sauce and vinaigrette on sale made in house. Our servers name was Jeremy and he was efficient, attentive, and was engaging with my kids. We ordered chicken tenders, and grilled cheese for the kids and local burger, pepper pasta for the adults. Additional onion rings were ordered as an appetizer. The food was hot and fresh. Portion sizes were big. Most meals came with a side of house cut fries. Overall a great place to stop by for a meal! We got dinner for take out here. The place was nice and the gentlemen at the counter was pleasant. We ordered a small salad with grilled chicken and an avocado wrap with fries, to go. This came to a total of $52, which seemed pricey, but the place has good reviews so we didnt think much of it. The man at the counter said our order would take no more than 10 minutes. It took more than 20 and no one came to explain what was taking so long - assuming the chicken breasts were cooked from raw, 20 minutes does make sense, but the man who took my order should have never said 10. I just saw him at the back chatting with the kitchen the entire time. Then we get our food and we were shocked that the fries had NO salt, werent fully cooked, the chicken unseasoned and dry, the wrap had just a smear of avocado on the tortilla wrap and was mostly made up of undressed and unseasoned lettuce. My Greek salad only had olive oil/vinagrette- no salt or oregano . To have paid over $50 and waited 20 minutes for this sad meal is beyond disappointing. My experience may have been a one-off but be aware if you choose to dine here.

Any trip to Huntsville must include an outing to Main St. Local Kitchen. Its a tradition in our family. The staff is very friendly, food arrives at your table super fast and is always delicious!

I ordered the chicken caprese it was excellent! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the butter wine sauce and Swiss cheese complimented, but did not over power. Loved the grilled veggie mix & the cherry tomatoes just popped with amazing flavour. Hated the slippery rock chair I had to sit on-lol.

We were racially profiled. These people made us wait outside (even after mentioning we have a special needs child)as they didn t have table available. even when one was available at the corner. Saw people walking in and getting tables and they let people wait inside. Unacceptable. Will never go there and not recommend if you have someone with disability in family.

My wife and I ordered takeout; the burrito bowl and Philly Cheese Melt, and they were both delicious! The portions were filling and it was just what we needed for a quick lunch on the go. It was ready within 10 minutes. We were glad the fresh cut fries came plain with a side of ketchup, salt, and vinegar. This is the way to do it; you can add what you want and how much. Went here for dinner before heading to the Algonquin Theatre for a show. Food was excellent. I had the burger and it was well cooked, flavourful and the sides were good. Wheelchair accessibility: Like most restaurants along the main street of Huntsville, the washroom is in the basement. The only option with a wheelchair is to use the public washroom at the Town Hall across the street.

Absolutely amazing food with taste that stands out from the rest in all the right ways and staff that is just as divine. Ive certainly found my new favorite restaurant and cant wait to go back. Also our waiter (Jeremy I believe) has a wicked mustache.

This is a great place to eat. Good quality food and friendly staff. The chef owner Ryan is attentive about making sure his clients are happy. They also cater to people with food allergies which is fantastic. Dietary restrictions: They will do what they can to accommodate food allergies.

We were a large group and if we could we would give this place 6 stars. Everything was AMAZING! Ryan (the chef) and Christy (waitress) are extremely friendly and accommodating. We all had different things and we all loved our choices. Highlight was the spinach artichoke dip!

We tried the burrito bowl and the beef sandwich with fries. We found it a bit pricey for lunch but enjoyed our meals. Both the food and service were very good.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner on our date night. We attended a Marriage Conference in Huntsville by Family Life Canada and Saturday night was set aside as a date night with your spouse. I called in and asked if there was room for both of us. They said they are really busy but they will keep 2 spots open for us! We were greeted at the door and I said my name and they said thanks, we set aside a table for you. My wife had a pasta dish and I had the BLT with fries. We were both very happy with the quality of the food. The best part for us was the dessert! We got the Churros with ice cream and caramel sauce! This tasted so amazing and fresh! Its no wonder this place is among the best in Huntsville! The food, the exceptional service and ambience make this a place you need to visit when in Huntsville! Highly, highly recommend it!!

I liked this place so much that Im leaving this review 2 months after going. I kept having it pop into my head to leave them a good review because they simply deserve it. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is clean and simple. We went here after getting married. A simple dinner with a couple friends and our 18mo daughter. The chef came out to greet us and he asked my daughter if she liked pickles (she was eating one). He then said, Ill get you more pickles and brought her back extra. She blew him kisses to thank him and he was overjoyed. That will be a core memory Ill never forget. As we were packing things up my daughter vomited all over their floor on the way out. They were super helpful and accommodating and were primarily concerned with her well being, with almost no concern about the mess. Were pretty sure she just ate too much too fast. Overall, I would recommend to anyone and I will be seeking this place out next time Im in the area. Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair and all the staff was very interactive with my daughter (18mo.).

Really nice atmosphere. Great portions and tasty food. I got the steak and eggs. The medium rare was cooked to perfection. My husband got the burger2 which came with a very large portion and hefty fries. Their hot sauce was delicious! He was so full that he couldnt even eat dinner afterwards! The service was great, and the waitress was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if youre up in the Huntsville area.

Good food good people cheeper then most places

The service/ waitress was good .Ive been here a few times. I ordered a brunch, chicken wrap w greek salad. My food was excellent. My friends had breakfast. None a were a fan of the mushy home fries, no one ate them. And we mentioned that the toast was marinated in over-kill butter to a point that it was not etible. A little disappointing since we had bragged on the place & brought our friends all the way there, just for breakfast, from Port carling. It was $100 for 4 of us for breakfast. We told the waitress, she said im sorry, mad a sad face, but offered no render for the unsatisfied patrons. A Little stiff $$ . Left a good tip, wasnt her fault.

Incredible customer service and overall experience. My husband and I went with our 14 month old, and they were quick to cater to our needs with a little one. The chef came out to introduce himself while we were there, and they prompt to bring anything we needed. We had the meatball linguine, club wrap and our Son had the grill cheese! All were very good.

If you are wondering if this restaurant is worth a visit then come and see for yourself. Filled up to the brim with beaming customers enjoying themselves and enjoying authentic food. The menus are generous in size and I enjoyed my chicken Cesar wrap tremendously and the Greek salad, which came as a side dish.

First time visit since the COVID outbreak in this upgraded restaurant in downtown Huntsville. Big basic menu, lots of burgers, and post COVID prices. I kept it simple with a Western sandwich. It was two eggs and it was stacked full and delicious like youd expect it to be. The other half was big french fries that were pretty good plus a quarter of a pickle. The coffee was not only fresh but good quality too. Chicken fingers for my guest and the bill came to $40 + 20% tip.

Its a great restaurant with a great mission, to use local ingredients and products to provide you a semiconductor meal. The menu might be smaller than other places but theres no need to have several different burgers on the menu like other places. The food is cooked and presented well. The service staff is always helpful and efficient and the location is excellent.

My family celebrated our nieces birthday here this past week. I have never received better service and felt more comfortable in a restaurant. Our server, whose name I unfortunately don t know, was so incredibly thoughtful and warm and went above and beyond to meet our needs as diners. We will definitely return! We had the Main st special and the regular breakfast. The plates were heaping. For $16.95 I got the thickest most delicious bacon I have ever had!, sausage, ham, home fries, French toast and rye bread with jams. THE ORANGE JUICE WOW! Not sure if Ryan squeezes that himself or what!? It s not frozen, I can tell you that. I just wish I could give 7 stars!!! We have found our breakfast joint! See you once a month Ryan! Thank you!
