The fried green tomatoes were delicious 😋 I ordered the crab cake burger which I loved and my husband ordered the wagu burger which he said was pretty good. Would definitely go back. The waitress and bartender were very welcoming
I have enjoyed dinner and brunch at Catch 25. My husband is a seafood fan so we tried Catch 25 for his birthday in August. He enjoyed the oysters and seafood boil. We went for brunch this week and it was delicious. The 25 cent mimosas were a fun addition to our morning. We had a reservation, but would not have needed it for brunch. I hope that people find this little treasure and support the owners. The wait staff are fun and friendly.
Visited this establishment today (9/22/24) with my wife. The atmosphere is always good however the service was not very good at all. Once seated it took over 10 minutes to just get water and another 7-10 minutes to get our food order taken. We ordered fish tacos and chicken and waffles, we waited nearly 40 minutes for the food to brought to us and was brought to us hastily after we requested to cancel our order. The Lady i perceived to be the manager did offer to take care of our bill which we appreciate. This is one of our favorite black owned restaurants in the city however the service is expected to be much better than it was.
My bloody mary was perfect and spicy. The calamari was some of the best I've had. My seafood blend oysters were THE BEST I've ever had, anywhere! Our bartender/server was incredible. We will definitely be back!
Was looking for a new place to take my wife for her birthday today and came across Catch25. My wife loves seafood and so my family took her here. Our waitress was right there with glasses of water and a beautiful smile. She was very responsive in asking if we needed any advice was very helpful in making decisions. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, I got the bologna sandwich, daughter got crab cakes and son got pancake breakfast tacos with soft bacon. Our meals were good but it 45 minutes for pancake taco which only came out with one, which was cold and bacon over cooked. The other didn’t arrive in time to finish so it was packed to go. Not sure what went wrong other than we were told cook was having difficulty getting it right. The taco rack should not be used for pancake taco which breaks apart the pancake. Review would have been higher but this dish was the easiest of the 4 for tip and all of over a $100 for brunch. I will go back for a dinner try and give them another chance. Great historical area of Huntsville to walk around. I hope they fix this issue.
The first Tuesday of every month has all you can eat crab legs for about $50/person. Go hungry, and it will be totally worth it. Please note that you only get three little potatoes with your first plate. Any potatoes and corn you want after that are not included. The service was great, and the food was phenomenal. The crab was perfectly cooked, and it was a good quality king crab. It was not mushy or rubbery. I personally like a heavier seasoning, but I thought that the flavor of their seasoning was really nice, and it was light enough that my 11-year-old niece still enjoyed it (And she is scared of spicy food so that tells you that it is mild). It takes a while to get your first order of crab, but getting refills on the crab is fast. Also, I can't eat gluten without getting ill, and I did not have any problems eating here. It didn't make me sick, which is a huge bonus. I want to be clear with my fellow celiacs that I did not tell them that I have celiac nor did I ask for any special accommodations. I took a risk with this meal (since there isn't usually flour in crab seasoning), and it was a very worthwhile risk for me. And thankfully I was fine! I will say the bloody Mary that I ordered was atrocious, which is why I deducted one star. I didn't even drink half of it. I don't know if they use a house blend or what. It wasn't worth it to complain or to send it back. I just simply didn't drink it, but I wouldn't order it from them again in the future. And I probably wouldn't order any other cocktails. I'll stick with something simple when we go back. I parked across the street, but we went during a time that downtown Huntsville isn't busy so it was very easy to get parking.
The owners have done a great job remodeling the old Below The Radar restaurant location- decor and ambience are nice. Service was attentive and polite, but the crab/shrimp boil we shared was just ok. They had drenched everything in butter, shrimp appeared to have been previously frozen and there wasn’t much flavor beyond the butter. We had hoped it would be great, or at least good, but cannot recommend the boil. Maybe the other dishes rate five stars, but this one did not.
Catch 25 provides a delightful dining experience that pleasantly surprised us. The Oyster Rockefeller appetizer was a standout, with oysters that were truly to die for—the best we've ever had. The steak and fries, along with the shrimp and grits, showcased impeccable presentation and rich flavors. The friendly staff added to the positive atmosphere, making it a memorable meal. It's surprising that such a gem is relatively undiscovered, as we found the place surprisingly empty during lunch. Catch 25 is undoubtedly one of Huntsville's best-kept secrets.
Food Service atmosphere everything was excellent well go back again
The seafood is amazing, and the service is top notch. This is now one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Huntsville.
Food was just okay. Calamari was fine. Surf and turf really wasn t that good. You can find better steak around. Lobster was tough.
Sophisticated atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious food. Jay was wonderful and we truly enjoyed everything we ordered.
I decided its not worth a return. Although, the concept is awesome, with friendly staff. The experience is always crushed by missing condiments, food or an error with the order. You have to add multiple sides just to make an entire meal.!! Which increases the bill and its mediocre at best.
So the experience started off amazingly well. The food was prompt enough, hot and as requested. However one of our guests found a hair in their food. Typically this event is met with a deduction of the meal or a complimentary meal. However when the manager finally came over she was combative and her response was well what would you like for me to do? The situation could ve and should ve been handled better by managment .
Crab boil is seasoned perfectly, my husband got the burger and it was delicious, fries are out of this world too. Everything was incredibly fresh and well done. Service was also extremely kind and tentative.
The best Oysters Rockefeller I have ever had! Service was good. Potions decent. Shrimp and Grits awesome. Big big shrimp.
Catch 25 is a seafood lovers paradise that excels in fresh flavors and inventive cocktails. Upon stepping in, youre welcomed by a modern yet cozy ambiance, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Each bite feels like a testament to the chefs expertise and commitment to quality. Their menu boasts not only traditional seafood staples but also creative offerings that surprise and delight. The oysters are a must-try!!!! But the experience doesn t stop at the food Catch 25s specialty cocktails are where artistry meets flavor.. A personal favorite is their signature rocket City Old Fashion The combination of impeccable seafood and curated cocktails at Catch 25 makes it a standout destination, whether youre on a date night or simply indulging in your love for well-crafted meals. It s a testament to what can happen when fresh ingredients and a passion for culinary creativity come together.
Horrible experience and service came here for Sisters Birthday. I took 30 min for a server to come over know one knew who table its was. We have been waiting two hours on our food. Still waiting!!!!! I also asked the server to check on our food and she literally went to the bar and started talking to customers saying she hasn t seen them in forever
Service was good, my server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Food was great, fresh and hot to serve. Definitely would like to try a happy hour with my gals though, and the all you can eat crab leg day.
The shrimp po boy has to be one of the best in town! The quality was outstanding. Will definitely be back soon.
The food here is simply delicious. The seafood dip is amazing.
Great food, service and atmosphere!
Went with a large group. What a fiasco. Im searching for something positive to say, but I cant. Server was pleasant, but took forever to get anything, very random and disjointed in bringing meals and the food we did get was not good. Gave up and left as did others.
Jerrell and Fran were great! Service was amazing and the food was very good! Loved the boil. Definitely will be back here again.
My seafood boil was served after 1.5 hours of waiting and the corn was still frozen solid and iced over. Other parts of my dish didn t come out when the meals were delivered and were brought to me when we were ready to pay. We could not get servers to refill waters or to bring us silverware. We had to get up and ask the bartender to get us every single thing. If they would have been busy then perhaps this could have been explained but there were very few customers present and servers were just on their phones. During our time waiting, 2 different tables got up and walked out so I wish we would have taken the hint. This place probably won t stick around Huntsville long and I don t advise going.
I really wanted to love this place but it fell short. Really short. The waitress was awesome and attentive but my first clue was no one there. The bartender served me old brown limes and told the waitress the soda comes out of the spicket that way (FLAT). So both my vodka sodas came out with zero bubbles. Clearly he needs to be trained on swapping out flat soda. The oysters were oldish, the calamari overly breaded and bland, and the so called bisque was actually corn chowder with two bites of crawfish in it. As a diabetic, would have been good to know. I couldn t finish it as a result unless I wanted a trip to the ER. Hubby liked his lobster Alfredo at least. Probably won t be going back. Huntsville needs to step up the food game cuz everything here so far has just been mediocre at best. Sad
Service was great! Seafood blend oysters were great! It was ordered like an appetizer but ate like a meal. Good beer selection as well.
We came here for the lobster alfredo and were disappointed. The lobster tail was overcooked and tasted like dirty water. The alfredos taste was poor, sweet, bland, and dry for an alfredo. The drinks were well done, and the service was nice. We will not be back, for a $140 meal we expected more.
It was our first time dining at Catch 25 and a great experience. My BBF and I have Birthdays two weeks apart. And go out every year to celebrate. Our shrimp and grits meal was delicious. So was the Greek salad. The rum cake fresh out of the oven was to die for. Even arrived with a Birthday candle. Fantastic service and meal. A wonderful first experience.
It was a Tuesday evening and not busy. There was a waitress in training but also another waitress always with her. We ordered salads and then four fish dinners. I also ordered a glass of wine and two others ordered beer. The beers were delivered but the wine wasnt. I thought the wine would be delivered with the meal. Then. They brought out two fish dinners and said that there had been a mix-up and the chef hadnt realized it was supposed to be four. So we got two fish dinners, no salads and no wine. We asked them about the other food and drinks and they said oh, we can get that. We then got two salads about 10 minutes later. After that we had to wait even longer to get the glass of wine. We were done eating the fish that had been brought out by the time they brought the other two meals. This was the worst service I had ever had in my entire life and other than a casual. Sorry about that
Great afternoon at Catch 25. Bartender was great. Met one of the owners, very welcoming, good guy. Catcher s Choice IPA a great choice. First time here, next time in Huntsville added to the must-stop.
Ordered beer and water for drinks. Got those timely. Ordered chargrilled oysters, veggie omelet and shrimp and grits. Got the oysters timely. 45 mins later, still didnt get the rest. Server checked and didnt really get a answer. Cancelled the order. They offered to not charge at all but we insisted on paying for what we got because it was good. Their craft beer was mediocre. Hostess and server were nice but overall not a good experience. Some guy out front was peddling their beer samples. Maybe he should have been helping the kitchen. Finally went to an amazing taco truck set up close by.
Oysters, beer, and shrimp tacos! We had the mid-Atlantic raw oysters, hands down the cleanest, fullest oysters weve ever eaten. Those shrimp tacos were next level, my biased husband is still talking about them. He also loved the craft IPA on tap, excellent selection of on-site brews. Try this place!
This place is such a vibe!! My husband and I had an amazing time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Catch 25! The food was amazing and the service was great! Well definitely be back!
Service was horrendous. Food was way overpriced. Whoever they have brewing their beer needs to be fired. Highly don t recommend.
Oyster awesome, everything else was fishy.
My first time trying this restaurant and it was ok, nothing great. I guess from walking past it over the past year and seeing the white table cloths and well dressed staff it would be a rather high end place but really it is very casual. They seem to be trying to be both sports bar ( a number of TVs going) and fine dining. I sat at the bar and the service was very good and attentive. I tried two of their microbrews and settled on the Ube. It was enjoyable and had a unique taste that was great at first but finished heavy. One was enough. I ordered off the Happy Hour menu; Buffalo shrimp and Shrimp tacos. Tacos were a disappointment, almost no shrimp, just greens and pico and cheese. The Buffalo shrimp were very good with just enough heat to make you drink your water. Overall given the cost vs. what I received it was ok, not great. I will go back and try again to see how it goes.
The food and drinks were good.
Probably the worst service Ive experienced in 25 years. 1. Walked in and multiple tables were liked full of food and dishes. I kept staring at at the table across from me. It took 30 minutes to bust the table, gross. 2. Waited 45 minutes for our appetizers and never saw our entree because it wAs no where in sight. Salmon should not take 45 minutes or longer. I watched every single table after me get served... and one table received there salmon entree in 20 minutes and mine was 45+? 3. Once the appetizer came I had to grab silverware from another table because we were abandoned. 4. My drink (water) was not filled up in the hour i was there. 5. We complained to management and no offer or consideration to comp us for the poor service and extra long wait. 6. The staff was aloof. They should be embarrassed!
Came in late and they still serviced me very well
We went here on a whim. Its a bit on the pricey side. Most dishes were upwards of $30, to speak nothing of appetizers, sides or drinks. We ordered a fried shrimp Platter and shrimp and grits. The food was hot and tasted very good. Our waitress was nice. The atmosphere was really quiet and odd but it was a Wednesday night so thats probably why.
Tried catfish dinner, wagyu burger and crab claws for appetizer. Paid $5 for a side of fries that had about 10 frozen French fries in it, the menu showed coleslaw comes with the catfish but the waitress rudely told me it only comes with pasta salad and that I can t substitute it for anything else. Honestly Captain Ds has better fish than this place and the burger was way over cooked. Waitress was rude after she realized we weren t drinking alcohol and tried to rush us out of there at first but couldn t because the kitchen took an hour and a half to make a burger and a catfish dinner. I would highly recommend going somewhere else to spend $108 on two dinners that was honestly comparable to fast food. We don t hardly ever eat out but when you look at food prices and see they are charging high prices for food you expect to get decent treatment from the staff and high quality food. Also don t do a date night here, the dining room echoes really bad and conversations across the room are easier to hear than the person sitting next to you.
Good food without a shadow of doubt. T yne was our waitress and she was exceptionally terrific. All the food was on point. It was like a party going on in my mouth. Shout out to the cooks. We we were trying to meet them but they were super busy!. If your in Nashville or even Chattanooga this is a must come too!!!! We had the Rum Cake with strawberries and vanilla ice cream , it was to die for!! I could have eaten the whole cake !!!!
We had our niece s graduation dinner here and this place was awesome!!! The atmosphere was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was so good, our meals ranged from seared salmon, chicken and a variety of seafood delights!!!! Will visit when we re in town!!!
Our first visit and our last was 11/18 for dinner. Im not sure the name of our waitress but she was horrible. Missed drinks, forgotten orders, seated us for a table of 5, gave us 3 menus and we had to request 2 more. When our two boils came out and every single piece of food was cold, she proceeded to tell the kitchen that we complained our corn was cold. The crab legs, potatoes, sausage and corn were all cold. In addition, I caught her multiple times playing on her phone. The place wasnt busy by any stretch. Drinks took forever. My cauliflower app was borderline cold, almost as if they just put Buffalo sauce on raw cauliflower and sent it out. The oysters Rockefeller were decent, the seafood dip was decent. But, the fact that both boils came out cold and we were missing one other persons meal when everyone elses was served was a deal killer. I apologized to the waitress for the no tip, but what we experienced was inexcusable. Keep this up and I give your establishment 6 months. Never again.
Wife and I decided to try Catch 25 a few days ago unfortunately they were closed the funny thing was Google said it was open so there may be some confusion, we will try to get in within the next few days. More to come.
Ive tried my hardest to support this establishment but its a no for me. 5 star prices with gas station seafood quality. On top of that, it takes no less than 35 minutes to get your food. Spend your money else where.
We had an awesome experience from easy reservations to delicious oysters and a seafood boil. The service was great and the Blackberry Bourban drink is great! Love it!
Superb service. Great food, kinda focused on seafood winners, but thats ok. They were all great. Music is a little loud for my taste. I perfer a relaxing place where I can hold a conversation easily. Hard walls, floors, and ceilings really echo the music and other guests conversations. We tried the crab cake sandwich and shrimp po boy. They were excellent. Parking: Lots of street parking nearby. Usually not hard to find a space. There are two parking decks nearby.
I love y all but everyone does not want breakfast for lunch on Sundays. Can we please get a tiny lunch portion on menu for Sunday. Thanks
I want to preface this by saying this review has nothing to do with the servers and no server should ever be punished for the wrong doing of poor quality food that wasn t their doing. With that being said I have never been to a restaurant that served me such poorly made food before. We started our night off with tables so close together I needed to squish in and no body shaming but I m not a big person and the fact I needed to make sure my chair wasn t going to hit the person behind me was absurd. We ordered what was in my opinion the most overcooked crab claws as an appetizer served with a to go cup of cocktail sauce. I believe the beauty in restaurants that we take for granted is how we don t need to ask for many things and what we want will always come with the meals we order. But the fact I needed to ask for utensils, napkins, sauces, refills, and more just feels like a chore more than an experience. The main entree wasn t my initial choice but is what I had to go for because they ran out of lobster. The $25 7 pieces of small fried shrimp was the worst meal I ve had in Huntsville. We left without finishing the meal and didn t want to complain to staff since we know it s not the fault of those who serve us the meal. Once again I come at this with critic of the food and don t mean any malice or harmful intent. This costed us $120 after tip (we also got drinks)
Ive had two vastly different experiences. The first time the food was great, the server was polite and mostly attentive, and the staff were accommodating. I was very pleased and looked for a second excuse to go by. The second time, (today) I didnt even eat half of the food. It was awful and almost inedible. I had to flag the server just to ask for a refill on water, and they seemed to barely be able to be bothered to do it. After we were clearly done, I had many questions about how everything was. The garlic Parm oysters seemed like they slathered olive oil garlic on top of small oysters and charged $25 for six of them. I left hungry and frustrated by the entire experience. Dietary restrictions: Ask with every single item, and if you have a shellfish allergy dont even walk on that side of the street.
Great place to visit for any occasion... food is seasoned properly and the drinks are good... great destination for oysters too! Highly recommend
Eager to give this place a try. Walked in at 1:57 to be told they were closed. Sign on door, FB, and google showed 3:00pm closing time. Just said they closed early on holidays (Father s Day)?? WTH? There was no sign on the door to note that. Also looking around and there were plenty of tables but maybe we were the wrong color??
Whenever someone asks me for food recommendations, I immediately recommend Catch 25. The food is ASTOUNDING, and the service is impeccable!! Their drinks are delicious too I had a mango lemon drop. Don t walk there, run. :)
Food was amazing. Had the chicken and waffles and gator bites. All very good Lisa was great!
Great food! Great employees! Fair prices! Best Rockefeller oysters this sailor has ever had!
Such good food. Lisa was a super star, and took great care of our party. Perfect, place for a great lunch! Prices are fair for the quality you receive. Food : 5/5 |
Great ambiance, service, super clean and will be returning soon
Service was good, food was flavorless and overpriced.
I had brunch with my sister for Mother s Day today and it was a probably the worse experience ever . My sister ordered a medium ribeye and it came out well done . Aaron the manager or whatever offered to pay and fix her meal . We waited 30 min to get the food back and it came back wrong again but we just didn t complain . He then came to our table saying he was not paying for her meal but he has to pay for the steak that was already made as if that s any of our concern . We ve both been in food service for over 10 years and we would NEVER. Aaron completely ruined our Mother s Day lunch with his horrible attitude and no concern for customer happiness . We will not be going back. He is probably the reason it s noon and there were little to no customers in there on a busy holiday . However the server with the tattoos we had was amazing! He should go somewhere else , he would probably make more money anyways . Parking: It was plenty of parking .
On Mothers Day the waiter didnt write down our order but was sure my wife said she didnt want to eat so he brought out everyone elses food but hers. WE WENT THERE FOR HER. She wanted to try the shrimp n grits. He didnt apologize or anything. So she had to sit and eat her food after everyone else was done. And for the price none of the food was worth it. We all regret going to this place.
I really wish I would have checked the reviews before we went. Every bad review is accurate. The food, service, and vibe is off. But they have a prime business location so they will keep getting new people. If youre trying to celebrate an occasion, just go anywhere else. Just look at the replies to their reviews. Not even trying to be better.
CATCH 25 Seafood & Brewery is AMAZING!!!! Our server Christina was great and the food, drinks and dessert were excellent!!! If you havent tried it yet, stop by!!! They would love to see you
This place is a dump, over priced, and the food portions are small. I ordered the shrimp and grits and I must say my grits were thick and lumpy and the shrimp was tough and chewy. I try to support small businesses, but this restaurant is a place I will not ever ever return too. I will not talk about my husband s plate of food. He had to wait on his food and his food was cold and undercooked this was the shrimp po boy. I did not read the reviews and regret it come heartily. Let s not talk about the one of the managers Fran. She s nasty and she would not come out and talk with us. I don t like posted bad reviews, but the food and service were awful. Please spare me a respond to my post with a rude comment owner. Your restaurant is trash.
My first visit! My friends and I stumbled on this restaurant while out walking so didnt have any preconceived ideas about the menu. The restaurant was on the quiet side when we were there after the traditional lunch rush. We were happy to see lots of different types of menu items. I had the crab cakes Benedict. The sauce was perfect and the crab cakes were really good, too. I chose a flight of mimosas as my beverage and was happy to see a variety of juices available instead of just three or four. My companions had the oyster appetizer (which I think could have fed everyone in the restaurant; it was BIG!) as well as other items. We were all happy and satisfied. The servers were friendly and we enjoyed our experience.
Eden Eden Eden!! Amazing service!!! The best drinks ever!! Eden made my husband and I experience such a delight! Everything from the ambiance to the drinks to the food was extraordinary!!! We are most definitely returning!!!
This place is phenomenal. My husband and I had a an amazing experience. He had the seafood platter, and I enjoyed the fish (catfish) and fry. This place did not disappoint us. We highly recommend this eatery, and we definitely will dine at this restaurant in the near future.
AWFUL experience. Was there 3 hours! Orders took FOREVER, drinks took FOREVER, and one of the guests was actively eating when I guess a guy who was a manager walked up to him and asked if he was done. Steak was either over or undercooked, lamb chops were overcooked. All the tables around us were served far in advance to us even though they came in after us to include drinks from the bar. Not a great experience and would not recommend at all.
Dinner was amazing! Great service ! The gator bites are amazing!
My first visit was Friday night. I d never been to Catch 25, but one of the ladies I went with highly suggested it. We had a 7pm reservation, but actually arrived at 630. We were told that they prefer [we] wait until [our] reservation time to seat us at a table. Our party of 4 sat at the bar. The entire time we were forced to wait until 7pm, there was a table near the wall that was empty. At exactly 7pm, we were seated - at the very table that had been empty for the 30 min we were at the bar. We immediately ordered, as we had an event we were headed to at the VBC. We ordered appetizers and entrees. We told our server to put both the apps and the meals in at the same time. We waited over 25-30 min for one app - the fried calamari. We d long finished that before the second app - fried green tomatoes - arrived. When we asked about the status of our entrees at 745-750 we were told by our server that (1) she d waited to put them in and (2) they d just started cooking them!!! Wow!!! We were floored and disappointed, as we were truly looking forward to trying the food. We ended up canceling our order. We just didn t have the time to wait. While we may have been pushing it with our reservation time, the fact that we were forced to wait 30 min until 7pm ALL WHILE a table sat empty just didn t sit well with me. I m not sure I ll try to return.
Prices are at a par with a fine dining establishment, although this does not fit the bill. Had raw oysters, calamari, shrimp and grits, and the catfish dinner. The calamari , shrimp, and catfish were all overcooked. Catfish had a thick breading that was unpleasant to chew. The sauce on the shrimp and grits could of been good if it wasnt oversalted. Service was below average, although the server was trying. On a positive note, the oysters were shucked properly. The place got too noisy half way through our meal. For a seafood restaurant, not one seafood dish we had was cooked properly. It was all overcooked, making it rubbery and hard. I wont be back, especially since better places with seafood on the menu such as The Bootle are just on the next block.
never coming back! we came for brunch and it took AN HOUR for us to get our food. service was not good either, we would finish our drinks and I would have to find the waitress to ask for another drink instead of her checking in with us. The waitress in that hour span of us waiting for our food never checked in. After 50 minutes of waiting, i asked the waitress for the bill of only our drinks because we didnt want to wait anymore and she did not give us the bill, she waited 10 more minutes for our food to be ready and brought the food out after I have told her we did not wanted to keep waiting. And on top of that my food had no seasoning, I got the seafood omelet which it was supposed to came with toast and a side, I did not get toast.... never coming back.
The food was excellent. We went to the all you can eat crab night it was fantastic. Our waiter was wonderful. I felt bad for them because there was 3 waiters and 2 bar tenders. No hostess we waited a hour before we were seated or anyone talk to us. The waiters were having to run around and bus tables. I would go back for the food and drinks but they need to get some more help especially on a night with a special.
We went here for the first time in the all you can eat crab night. They do it every first Tuesday of the month. Hands down freaking awesome. I personally went through about 7 plates of crab. None of them were overcooked and they were all perfect. Had a chance to look over the menu while we waited and I am excited to go back for brunch on Sundays and a dinner too. Staff was super friendly and worked hard. Like any place these days, slightly short staffed so they all had allot on their plate. Placed was 100% full and the staff did great. Some folks seemed annoyed while they waited at the door for a seat and those folks might be the poor reviews but its their own fault for not getting there on time for an all you can eat crab night lol. Highly recommend this place. We will be back again and again. I do recommend you get your butt there early on special nights cause this place is small but its worth it.
Love the food and atmosphere. Its a great place to come and eat some great food and chill.
Went yesterday for brunch, service was super slow. We never actually had a waitress, the hostess who wasnt really knowledgeable tried to assist. We were a party of three and waited over an hour for our food and once once it came my eggs were over cooked. Asked two different people for syrup for my pancakes and NEVER got it. I feel as though if you are short staffed or the kitchen is behind (because it seemed like it was both) that management would come and acknowledge the customers and gove a reason. Everyone around us was complaining so it was across the board. I didnt verbally complain to the workers because they barely came back and all the other parties were complaining to them(so it was across the board not just us). As someone that has worked and managed in the service industry a long time that probably was the worst overall experience Ive ever had. TO not be able to actually finish my food because I never got the things I asked for line syrup was very telling. I hope you all work the kinks out fast.
So we went there for my daughter s 22nd birthday dinner. We had a reservation for 1pm. My daughter received a phone call from this establishment around noon the same day stating that the kitchen closes at 1:30 so we needed to be there on time. Completely understandable and we were perfectly fine with the heads up! Her and I arrived at 1pm sharp. There was a couple that walked in right before us that clearly had no reservation be cause the host made us wait until she cleared off a table in order for them to sit down. Our table was already prepared to be seated. Did I say they literally walked in right before us? So, she made us wait until 1:07 to seat us because she was more concerned about sitting a couple that walked in with no reservation before seating us! Long story short we didn t receive waters until approximately 1:21. Had to rush to put our food order in at 1:24. Didn t receive our first cocktail until 1:40 food came a little after 2pm. Not to mention the same host sat 2 different parties after us and they had waters, cocktails, their orders taken, and food received before us! We asked for a manger and the host stated that the manager stated that she would try to come out and talk to us Like seriously? Any restaurant that Ive frequented where I had to ask for a manager the manager always made it a priority to come speak to the table! It shouldn t t even be an option! None the less the server kept forgetting things he even walked past us SEVERAL times before acknowledging us ( at least four times to the point where I was sure he wasn t going to be our server) This had to be the worst service I have EVER HAD! The calamari was delicious and the french fries were good. Not good enough to go back though and thanks Catch 25 for making my daughters birthday dinner a complete disaster. If it wasn t for her really wanting the oysters we would have inconvenienced ourselves and went somewhere else! Too many other restaurants downtown to deal with this service ever again. Hate to throw the race card around but we were one race and the other three tables that were clearly treated as a priority were another race.
Food was delicious the Rockefeller oysters are a must try!!!
If you like oysters this is the spot. Oysters Rockefeller were phenomenal!!! My husband had a po-boy and I had salmon salad which was huge. Everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered drinks from the bar which were very tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. I enjoy this place each visit.
My first time there was excellent! Great food, atmosphere and wonderful staff. Its definitely a great place to eat!
So happy this place is here! I ve been a few times now with friends and alone. Every experience is great! The staff are really attentive and kind. The food is always so fresh and delicious I recommend any of the oysters, steak, and seafood boils!! Oh and the drinks!! Definitely worth the price and (sometimes) wait!
highly recommend this place! They have some of the best char grilled oysters i ve ever tasted. Service is quick and food is great.
Ill definitely come back!! Keep up the great work!
Food was well worth the wait. The chef even came around to the table! Such a great experience will definitely come back.
Amazing food and service. Everything is always fresh. My favorite are the char grilled oysters. I will definitely be returning
Everything was fresh and seasoned well!! We will definitely be back!!
I love eating here! Great service and the owner is super attentive. I m definitely coming back to try the gator bites next time!
It was my husband and I s first time trying this place out on a Saturday night We had to wait an hour and 20 min to receive our food!! When we asked the bartenders for the managers, Fran and Jerrel, they stated they refused to come and talk to us to try to get an understanding. This was by far a very horrible first time experience. I ve never heard of a manger telling their paying customers they won t come out to hear us out. That sounds very unprofessional and unethical. When we did get our food it was ok. I don t think I d come back. Owners should do better.
I wanted to commend the owners with trying to run the restaurant with it being short staffed. I know it can t be easy working with just a few people. My only complaint was my lobster in my Alfredo was tough. The fried green tomatoes were really good! I would love to come back and try some more food.
Just wasn t our vibe. Actually we went in not knowing what to expect. But there wasn t much of a line between loud, neighborhoodish, sports bar-feel area and white, butcher-paper-over-tablecloths seating. The space is small so this really isn t an intimate dining space. This is only half the space of the previous tenant. The TV over our table was on the Weather Channel so I got to watch natural coastal disasters throughout the meal. Another TV across the room closer to the bar was on a sports channel. The place is understaffed, which is not the fault of the restaurant. We saw one bartender, and two servers our entire visit. There was no hostess at the door; one of servers who seemed to be doing all the work seated us. It took 13 minutes for our server (not the one who seated us) to acknowledge us, but not before she acknowledged a table across the room, one to two minutes after they d been seated, well after us, and on the way to our table, BEFORE dropping off water to our table. We started off with Caesar side salads, which were ok. The homemade croutons were good. Husband ordered the fried shrimp. He was disappointed in the overall quality of the shrimp, and the two, teeny-tiny hush puppies. The cole slaw which accompanied the entree had a peculiar taste which he found unpalatable. There was a pinkish tint to it. The dish also came with fries. I had the shrimp and grits. The sauce on the grits was ok; the shrimp just had an odd texture, to me, and they weren t very flavorful. The grits were pretty good but became thick very quickly. Over the course of our meal, we were never offered beverage refills (We both had iced tea.). We opted out of dessert, as a very large party was about to be seated next to us. Our tab came to $80 which seemed pretty steep considering our experience. Parking: There is a paid parking lot east of the restaurant.
I came on Valentine s Day and to my surprise it was not busy we had reservations at 8:00 and it took a hour to even get a drink !!! Then it took a hour and a half to get food my boyfriend s food got delivered to the wrong table and then when he got the plate they didn t even have oysters so they replaced it with extra shrimp (he wanted oysters )and we never got a re-fill on any drink .. our waiter can t remember her name but she had glasses and appeared to be Latino or Mexican (race doesn t matter, but she sucked so I hope you don t get her) she never checked on us I really think she forgot about us she didn t do her job at all!!!!!!
We went for Valentines Day! Amazing experience! The gator bites are a must try, as well as the seafood oysters. They were very busy but the staff did an amazing job taking care of us and the service was outstanding! We will be back!
Catch Margarita is a must try! Great team, and service! I had the steak and it was amazing!
I organized a birthday party for twenty, put down a deposit, it wasn ta Setup for 20, the drinks were disappointing, and we waited two hours without receiving any food. No one checked on us, and the managers rudeness was beyond belief. Im disappointed and embarrassed. I usually give grace to business owners, but tonights treatment was incredibly astonishing. Other parties left early due to the wait and poor service. I hope you take feedback from patrons seriously and wish you the best of luck.
We decided to try Catch 25 on Thursday the 15th. They were not busy however the service was extremely slow, our water would not have been refilled had the bartender not checked on us. Food took a long time to come out and appetizer items came out with our meal. The lobster in my husband s Alfredo was overcooked and tough. The shrimp in the shrimp boil were overcooked, rubbery and almost impossible to peel. The bisque was pretty good. The star of the mediocre meal was the jalapeño margarita and the rum cake. Those two items were the only things I would come back for. We expected a meal to match the prices and we definitely did not get that from Catch 25.
The only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is because Im assuming they were seriously understaffed the night we went. That assumption is based on the fact that both the hostess and bartender were waiting tables and serving food. In addition, the cook continually came out to the seating area to drop plates off. Regardless, that does not justify how horrendous the food and experience were. It took more than 45 minutes to get our appetizer of raw oysters and our soup was never entered and forgotten. We were not given the standard accoutrements with them either, i.e. hot sauce, crackers, etc. Our entree of salmon was served incorrectly, blackened vs. glazed. There were three single asparagus spears as the veggie. Obviously you pay for the fish, but for $31 (after tax) getting only three small asparagus spears is pretty pathetic. Finally, the rice was so oversalted it was inedible. We ended up sending the entire plate of food back. We have been here multiple times with the previous times being mediocre and this time being terrible. Bottom line: if you want to get oysters in Huntsville--go to Sea Salt.
Me & a few girlfriends went for brunch. Restaurant not super busy but had a few people inside. Food took an hour and 15 mins to come out. 2 of us ordered chicken and waffles. Chicken was bland. When we got our checks, the entree was charged $26. Online menu says $19. When brought up to waitress, she said she had to ask owner. Waitress came back to our table and stated that owner told her the menu online is 6 months old and the price is what it is . No accountability whatsoever or courtesy extended to people spending money with your establishment. Sadly we will not return.
Lack luster service and slow delivery of food and management was rude to a party of 20 people. If possible don t go here if you want to eat in a timely manner.
We had a dinner reservation and were left standing at the hostess stand for 15 minutes. When we were seated with waters we waited another 30 without so much as a word from anyone. No sorry for the wait or well be with you as soon as we can. We gave up and went elsewhere.
Amazing food and attentive service. Parking: Garage parking right across the street. 30 minutes free and just $1 for a total of 2 hours. Free street parking on weekends! Food : 5/5 |
Scheduled reservations for two and the ambiance was cozy, service impeccable, and the menu offered an array of dishes. For starters, my wife and I ordered the Calamari and the Garlic Parmesan Oysters. The Oysters and Calamari was amazing but it seemed as if we had more fried crumbs than Calamari. We ordered the Rocket City Old Fashioned to include a Pretty in Pink Martini which was exceptional. The Redfish Devine and Seared Salmon was a symphony of tastes which showcased the chefs skill. Darius Cooks reviewed the Collard Greens as #1 so we had to try them. The Collard Greens was flavorful and didn t disappoint! The restaurant is a definite must-try. A live jazz band or poetry would ve been perfect. We will be back!
Food was delicious service was good
This place is a hidden gem. Caught me surprise. The brewery gave great drinks and kombucha. The raw oysters, wings, salmon and the fried sampler were hits with our family.
My family took me here for my birthday celebration and I could not have asked for a better dinner. We had calamari, seafood dip and the chargrilled seafood oysters for appetizers and everything was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their selected entrees and drinks and our server, Nicole was pleasant. We will definitely be back and thank you for making my birthday dinner one to remember.
This was an excellent place for a date night! If you like seafood they have multiple options. If you are expecting creole seafood its definitely not that but still delicious. The drinks are also well balanced and yummy! Would definitely go again.
The atmosphere and service was very nice. I ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, the presentation was very nice, and the tomatoes looked good, they had the perfect batter, very crispy, but when I began eating them they were mushy inside. I ordered the seafood omlet for my entree and it wasnt what I expected at all, the crab meat was sprinkled thin and there was only a half of a shrimp on it and my food was cold. The truffle fries were outstanding.
So me, my wife and 7 other couples went for a friends birthday dinner. So I order the Salmon dinner. My piece of Salmon was about a 4oz, 3 bits and it was gone. My wife ordered the seafood platter the fried oysters and shrimp were cooked in flour no mill and was very over seasoned. The bill was not bad but for them to charge 18% on everybodys tickets was ridiculous. I would go back but will not be ordering the something. The ambiance was great.
Had dinner and drinks tonight. The food is outrageously overpriced for the quantity and quality. The seafood did not taste fresh and my entree was $30. I can get better food for that price at other restaurants in Huntsville. Also, the menu states that they charge a $10 fee for plate sharing. That screams we put too much money into this business and we re trying to recuperate our losses as quickly as we can. Unless this restaurant makes some major changes, it won t last.
I ordered takeout so I can t provide feedback on the dine-in experience, but the food I ordered (shrimp and grits) was amazing! The person who took my order over the phone was also engaging and friendly.
Flavor was excellent but service was questionable. One entree delivered a full 10 minutes prior to the second entree. Once the second appetizer was delivered the other two entrees showed up immediately. Timing was fundamentally not correct. While the server was pleasant the appetizers were ordered prior to the meals - not sure if this is a kitchen issue or a server issue but overall while the food was pleasant the timing of the service is more than questionable. Maybe the first week would make sense - but by this point should be more on point.
Customer service was top notch, amazing Collards and our seafood boil was fabulous! Huntsville, Go try them out!
Went there for my birthday with family. Denied having a reservation for us although we could see our name on there list. It was obvious they did not want a person in a wheelchair in their facility. You could tell by the way the manager didnt look at me. She was very rude. You could tell she loved telling us we were not welcome. So, we called The Bottle and told them how badly we were treated by a fellow restaurant. They welcomed us with open arms without a reservation. We had great food and my esteem was restored.
I recommend the steak and eggs from the brunch menu. Fantastic. Cool atmosphere and great staff
Visited on Valentines. Website did not advise of prix fix limited menu but that s ok. However, I must say the food was mediocre except the dessert. Salmon and plain white rice and boring steamed vegetables for $135. Also, they did nothing to quell the cavernous acoustics and it was LOUD. Overall I can only squeak out a 3 and hope they improve and survive ..but I doubt it.
This was my first time dining here and I absolutely loved it. The food was delicious. The buffalo cauliflower has a nice twist to it and the bartender really knows how to mix a drink! I will definitely be back. This will definitely be one of the spots to bring our out of town guests when they come to visit!
First time trying chargrilled oysters I was skeptical but my friends insisted I try them not sure if $30 is normal for half dozen oysters but the atmosphere and taste of the food and drinks made it well worth it I think the oysters were a garlic butter with parmesan cheese and they make a delicious martini! (I tried 2 different kinds of their special drink menu one was blue I forget the names & one was pink I think pomegranate if I remember right) will definitely be returning soon!
Awesome food. Great hostess Parking: Street parking a publix parking garage
Great place. The new chef has it dialed in!
We attended the parade today & my husband bought several beers for us & our friends from here. The last round he got, I walked in right after he walked out to use the restroom. The two ladies at the end of the bar were extremely rude to me. Will not be returning due to this kind of treatment. We had bought alcohol from you guys all day yet could not use the restroom? We had eaten here a couple time before but will not be back.
Party of 4. Out of wings and the only available waiter recommended the Gumbo as an appetizer. I am from Louisiana and It was too thick and really spicy! Had the fish and it was okay.
Last time I was here with my husband I really loved my expierence. So I ordered a cheesecake for my coworkers to try to get them to try out this new restaurant. Thank you for everything.
This place is amazing. Second time here Johnny ordered tuna and Marina ordered the stuffed shrimp it was delicious. Our drinks were so yummy I had the fig martini and Johnny ordered sugar and spice drink , it was really good . Oyster Rockefeller are so good too. Faith and Johnny, the owners are very friendly , try this place out it s really amazing . Parking: Parking is no issue
A beautiful experience!!!! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was very chill. The staff was awesome. Thanks Tia for the best mocktails ever!!! Thanks TNye and Aaron for the exceptional service!!! We not even gone talk about the owners........Fran, and Gerald, awesome job!!!!!!!
Food and service were great. My husband and I dined at 3 pm in the afternoon so it wouldn t be crowded and it was not but several very loud guys at bar made it very unpleasant:( Guess owners need to decide what type of place they want.
Food was good but not much atmosphere. Menu is limited.
Nice restaurant but has room for improvement. Pros: Quick seating, nice atmosphere, fried green tomatoes, wagyu burger, sweet potato fries, waitress was willing to ask what she didn t know Cons: Gumbo (Luke warm & overcooked (crunchy) rice), salmon (overcooked for medium), collard greens but taste like Glory greens , waitress wasn t familiar with restaurants do s or don t)
Nice they offered wine samples! Good meal but was a bit slow getting to us. Everyone was happy with their choices. Friendly staff!
Food was delicious and the service was like no other, very professional!!! I especially loved the ambiance! Food
Absolutely loved Catch 25! Our server Todd Wesley made the best drinks and had THE BEST service.
The restaurant atmosphere is funky and UpBeat with jazzy music. Ambience is relaxed. You could actually hear yourself think. Seafood was fresh. The service was fantastic. Our serverwas definitely enjoyable, efficient, and very courteous. Her name is Bree. You should probably ask for Bree; but I m sure the other waitresses and waiters are just as efficient and courteous. My very expensive date decided she wanted to have lamb chops, gumbo, crawfish bisque, and a number of different non-alcoholic beverages. Tried to break me For my entrée, I have a mix of fried catfish, oysters and fried shrimp. All of it was fantastic. I compared to food from my hometown of New Orleans. I believe this was rated least a nine in terms of taste. My drinks The kombucha was very good. We had a blueberry and a peach kombucha, which are brewed here at the restaurant! Our overall experience is rated at 9.5 out of 10. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Huntsville for a visit and for the residence of this community support such an important new restaurant in the community. Vegetarian options: There are a large number of vegetable sides that you could order Dietary restrictions: None of the food was excessively spicy, nor was it undercooked. All of the items perfectly cooked and seasoned. Parking: Parking in the area is vast. There is a parking garage to the west about a half block, and a parking garage to the south. Kid-friendliness: Small kids to handle the atmosphere in this restaurant. It s not too loud. There aren t a lot of people drinking and making loud noises either. Wheelchair accessibility: Just location with me all the ADA requirements for accessibility
Our first time here. Sadly, we are underwhelmed. We had brunch. Nothing exciting. Food came out cold, hash browns were ok..not great, not bad. Wait staff was nice. We may try dinner as the reviews for that seem promising. Well give it another try.
Suggested by a friend. We are here while celebrating our wedding anniversary. I had the crab cake sandwich. My wife had the wagyu burger. Both were delicious! Zero complaints from either of us. The regular fries were great as well! I had a old fashion bartender bows what he is doing! We will return next time we are in town. I almost forgot, we also had the seafood dip!
Food and drinks were delicious. Service was wonderful; will definitely be a regular spot for me.
The restaurant is small and clean, and the servers were polite, but the wait time for just two orders was almost 30 minutes to an hour long. It wasnt busy when we arrived, just 3 or 4 customers there at the time. We arrived before another group did, and they got their food before us. The portions were not great as far as the lobster tail went, and the asparagus wasnt cooked all the way. It was expensive for such little food that wasnt prepared all the way, not to mention the wait time. Hopefully, things will improve, and they will hire more staff in the future.
This establishment is great! the food was great and the service was on point. The oysters was delicious and the grits was the best I have ever had. I recommend this place any day of the week!
Great atmosphere and food
Went to dinner with my wife here. Great spot, food was incredible ( well seasoned , even the hush puppies reminded me of family cookouts ) and the wait staff was very cool and considerate. Definitely on my short list of spots in the city. Will be back regularly .
Had a great meal at Catch 25! Andrea is an excellent server and really helped me navigate the menu with my sodium restrictions. The chef specially prepared the Brew Boil with no salt! It was fabulous. I even got unsalted melted butter. The cocktails were also great.
Totally obsessed with the Seafood blend charbroiled oysters. Ambience and service solid 10!
Name = good Location = good Ambiance = ok Service = GREAT Food = subpar :( We even asked them to give us their two best dishes. Both dishes came out Luke warm
Literally love this place so much!! Food was phenomenal and service was so great!!
We had a lovely brunch! Food was fresh and service was friendly. We will be back
Very nice meal! I had the shrimp and grits, which were creamy and savory, with large perfectly cooked shrimp. Good cocktails and a nice wine selection. Looking forward to coming back here
Great meal and nice drinks. The service was especially friendly.
I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the most mediocre shrimp and grits Ive ever had for the price I paid for it. I added sausage, with the tip, I paid $30. The taste should have been so much better.
Definitely will be back! The oysters were so good, and the shrimp and grits were perfect. Great atmosphere and wonderful service.
The food was absolutely HORRIBLE. The taste was horrible and the portions were small without seasoning. The red fish looked like an overcooked fish stick, and the shrimp in the shrimp & grits was overcooked and the nasty sauce tasted like a nasty bland brown gravy over clumped grits. 81 bucks wasted, and we are both now sick to our stomachs. Oh lets not forget about the Mac and cheese with too much cheese, no seasoning, and 2 tiny pieces of lobster. I would go to bed hungry before going to this restaurant again.
Love the atmosphere and truly enjoyed the food. Best seafood omelette I ve ever had. Portions of food were amazing. I will certainly come back OFTEN.
Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! I m definitely coming back!!
Great atmosphere and food
Food is great and staff is awesome! 2nd time and I ll definitely be back!!!!
EVERYTHING was great! If you haven t checked it out, do it! You will not be disappointed!
I CANT EVEN BEGIN WITH ENOUGH stars. 5 its not enough. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY A 10. THE OWNER IS AMAZING the team is amazing but the food is phenomenal And its plenty of food and lord the service is simply just wonderful. Come and try for yourself. Shrimp and grits and the omelet Lord amazing is all I can say. They cater for events and guess what they take reservations. Book your next event. Karli with a K is so extraordinary. Todd the bartender lord hes so creative. Parking: Downtown is all I can say. Kid-friendliness: Yes its kids friendly its setup for families. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes its applicable for anyone in need of wheelchair accessibility
My husband took me here and I got the crab leg boil and he had the catfish. The crab boil was the BEST I have ever had. The food was so seasoned. We will be going back for sure!!! Parking: Get there early so you dont have to ride around looking for a park.
This is one of our favorite places to eat. The Redfish Devine is amazing. It is better than Tom Browns and that is saying a lot. Everything on the menu my husband has eaten has been delicious. We eat here often as it is our favorite restaurant. The drinks are amazing as well. I think they have the best Bloody Mary in town. Very hardworking staff. You cant beat their specials. My husband really loves their oyster selection as well. We havent had brunch yet but several friends I have recommended to come here have said it is worth the trip.
Had high hopes but we had to wait 3 hours to get food and beg for our bill tonight. Hope it goes better for them in the future they seem like good people. Best of luck
Unfortunately our experience was not satisfactory. We could see the potential and it seem like a nice vibe, but too many errors to look over. We had reservations there after being seated it took our waitresses at least 15-20 minutes before even addressing us. Then we were told they re out of crab claws so we ordered gator bites as an appetizer only to be told 30 minutes later they were out of those too. The service was slow and they only had 1 chef. My wife lamb chops although picture perfect, they re spoiled after waiting an hour to get them. Then was told they had ran out of food for the night. We were wondering why they were turning people away at 8pm on a Saturday night. All this happen and not once were we addressed by any type of management. I would not recommend doing a date night there any time in the future until they can be more transparent.
Shrimp Poor Boy was tasty, but I am not used to tails with my fried shrimp - yields a totally different texture. Other than that, our experience was wonderful during Sunday brunch and so the 5-star rating holds. The tails is a personal preference and DOES NOT impact my rating. Shout out to Wesley G. = terrific and attentive server and excellent during composer! The Jalapeño Margarita was spice and had a great KICK and the Blackberry Whiskey Sour was so delicious that I had to drink two!
Food is extremely good!! I felt like I had a personal chef cook in the kitchen for me!! Service. Our service was great . However the wait time for food was extremely long. Each meal on the table came out in 5-10 increments. This caused us not to see our waiter for quite some time. Atmosphere. Was great, smooth jazz at the bar, white cloth tables and dim lighting very elegant! I would definitely come back. I would have to plan for how long I m gonna be there for the wait on food, but we ll worth the wait.
Awesome
Been here for the second time on Tuesday night. Disgusting experience. One of the lowest quality food I had in my life. Never ever again.
The seafood was fresh and delicious. The food was Great. A must go. Oh yea the food was delicious..
Celebrated a friends birthday this past weekend and decided to try something new. The location and ambience is great and the waitress was pleasant. Upon being seated we were informed that many of our planned dinner options were not available, including: lamb chops, lobster mac and cheese and the vegetable broil. This put a damper on our dinning experience early on. We also planned on bringing a birthday cake in to celebrate, which we were notified was a charge of $30. I believe that was a little pricey and I didnt recall seeing that stated on the website. We went to Jay Alexanders in Aug and they were happy to accommodate us. Moving on because every establishment is different. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and grits as an appetizer and they were good. I wanted to share with a friend but additional plates were not offered, making it challenging to share on an already too small serving plate.I sampled the fried calamari and fried catfish both were decent. My entree was Asian glazed salmon, red potatoes smashed, greens with turkey and broccolini. Salmon tasted fresh and was good. However the greens were oversalted and inedible. I believe I may have got the last of a batch of greens because my friends greens tasted better and had less salt. The potatoes were ok. The broccoli was subpar. For the price for the food I was disappointed. Huntsville has many noteworthy restaurants, please take this as constructive criticism and modify. The establishment has great potential but needs work on execution.
Great service, great atmosphere with good people. The mimosas are a must try for brunch. And if youre a sports fan, theres plenty of tvs to view any of the games.
Good and drinks are good.
Our server bree was amazing. The patio ambiance was top notch. The food and drinks were devine. Bravo catch 25
I ordered online via their website and arrived when it told me to. They did not acknowledge the order so it was not ready. I requested a refund because they had Boy even started the order. After several requests for a refund, the guy said they miraculously did have the order and it would be out soon. I told him I didn t want rushed food. He assured me it was already being made (this is a lie because of the texts being sent to me when they did finally see the order). He brought out food anyway instead of my refund. I took it in good faith. Got home to eat, and you guessed it, UNDER COOKED!!! Everything is gross. I m sure I ll be sick later because that raw calamari made me gag something serious. I have been waiting to try this and wanted to love this place so bad but now I just want my money back!
Wonderful place
I have been to this restaurant more then twice now & my boyfriend and I love their ousters (their to die for). I hate eating outers but the way they cook them is fantastic to enjoy. The lobster pasta and seafood dip is good as well. My boyfriend had the Asian salmon and white rice with veggies. 10/10. Whenever we want to dine out and eat for dinner this is out first choice. The customer service is great, nice waitress and bartender is nice as well. Atmosphere is great
Beautiful restaurant. Good service. My shrimp and fries were good. The cole slaw had a unique taste, almost as if it was spoiled.; was afraid to eat it. I tasted the catfish from someone elses order. We thought it was fried well, but lacked taste. A little more seasoning might help.
Best oyster in Huntsville
Delicious food & drinks, wonderful ambience & service. I will definitely be back for oyster shots, blackberry cocktails & fresh seafood.
Crab bisque soup and blackened salmon with rice and asparagus was tasty and the service friendly.
The restaurant is outstanding! Friendly staff, great food
I wish I had a better experience to share service was good but.... 27 dollars for 6 Rockefeller oysters 18 dollars for 2 whiskey cokes (pepsi) seafood boil for 60+ dollars so salty we feel like we kicked a salt brick
Totally enjoyed everything about our dining experience at Catch 25!!!!
My boyfriend has culinary training and its difficult to find a restaurant where we dont have a complaint. We ate the whole meal without complaint! It was fabulous! Our waitress was extremely friendly and catered to all our needs! Definitely a LOVE!
The food was tasty, the people were nice and nestled in a cool corner downtown. I enjoyed the salmon, Collard greens and rice. The kombucha, Moscow mule! My fiance had the shrimp and catfish platter fabulous sweet potato fries. The fried green tomatoes were fresh as well!
Food was amazing! We went for brunch!Service was awesome!
I love this place, the chargrilled oysters are amazing. I went for brunch with my wife and we enjoyed everything and the waitress and bartender made sure we were taken care of.
This is the most unprepared restaurant I have ever been to, they claimed they were out of ranch dressing for my wings but then I guess the decided to make some, then they claimed they were out of regular mustard once I refused the order, then regular mustard suddenly appeared. They refused to let us order fried shrimp because they were still operating off the lunch menu which consisted of shrimp po boy which they had to fry the shrimp for the po boy!! I would have given the restaurant a 1 but our waitress was really nice other than that this restaurant is a HARD NO for me, save your money and go to Conner s.
The overall experience at this establishment was fantastic, highlighted by exceptional service. From the delightful cuisine and beverages to the refreshing mocktails, we thoroughly savored our visit and highly recommend it to others. A return visit is assured! The oysters were exceptional, earning a solid 10/10 rating. It s undeniably a superb destination for dining and drinks.
Brunch on Sunday, my party of 5 enjoyed it tremendously! The Benedict, pancake tacos, the omelets, all delicious. We shared bites to taste the variety and everything was very tasty. Food served piping hot, prompt and attentive service Princess was our server and did a wonderful job. I saw a Bloody Mary that looked awesome at the next table next time I ll try it. Will definitely be back. Great location, easy parking, awesome food, great menu!
Just had my 39th birthday there and it was PERFECTION from beginning to end. Literally one of my favorite places to go for brunch, lunch, and dinner.
Hosted a party of 10. The staff was accommadating and friendly. The music was nice. The food was amazing, especially the Oysters. The drinks were good as well. Ill definitely come back to try more items.
The food is amazing and the service outstanding.
Been there a few times and the food is always excellent! We attended an event there recently where they looked to unexpectedly get slammed as there were over 60 people, it was still really good. Despite the large crowd I was thoroughly impressed with how they handled service. I had calamari for happy hour and at dinner following, we ordered the shrimp and grits salmon and salmon dinner. So good! Clean, friendly service and tasty food. Im sure the drinks are great as well. Totally worth a visit or several. :-)
