Connors Steak & Seafood in Huntsville

Usually Connor s is very good and attentive servers. Yesterday was not good. I ordered the trout and it was bland and dried out. No taste at all. I left half of it. Our server was a little forgetful and service was slow but it s the holidays so we didn t think too much of that. Our neighbors at the table across from us got their bread way before we did even though they came in several minutes behind us. The bread was even a disappointment. It was not the little loaf but 2 things that looked like small biscuits. The food was subpar. I was so disappointed because my husband and I make this our holiday lunch together place. We will eat here again but I will order but I know what not to order.

If I could rate higher than five stars, I would. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was fantastic! The service was beyond excellent. Every Connors employee was wonderful. My wife and I went for my birthday, and our server brought me a personalized BD card signed by many of the employees. A great touch to a perfect evening. The manager even stopped by our table to see that we were well taken care of. I love that! We absolutely recommend this establishment for any special occasion or just a casual dinner. A+ We will be back!

I ve been to Connor s at Bridge street over 100 times the past 3 years and I can honestly say I ve never had a bad experience. The voodoo shrimp has to be one of the best bites in Huntsville, and everything else on the menu is a close second. Great place to come for lunch or dinner, casual or formal!

Our server was a little blonde boy with glasses. He was sooo sweet! He forgot our app but the food was delish and he was sweet about taking it off our ticket. I had the southern belle cocktail and it was so sour and yummy! I had the 6oz boursin filet and it was cooked perfectly.

The food is very delicious. I went at the scheduled time, but I had to wait about 30 minutes, so I gave it 4 stars. Parking: You can park within a 2 minute walk.

We drove 5 hours round trip to visit My Aunt for her birthday and take her to her restaurant of choice which was Connors. The lay out of the restaurant is strange. The kitchen is up front behind the hostess stand with people constantly walking by it. There is no indoor waiting area to sit or really even stand. The restaurant is like a maze. We are seated and shortly after greeted by Makayla who seemed friendly and took our drink and appetizer orders. My Aunt told her we were celebrating two Birthdays which were hers and my Sons She never acknowledged that through the entire dining experience The restaurant still had open tables around us but the food took a very long time to come out. At one point after about 40 minutes My Aunt asked if she could please get her salad which she ordered to come out before her meal. The waitress responded she would get it whenever they make it and it s taking longer due to the holidays. She would fill the water randomly but that was it. She became unfriendly and did the bare minimum after that. The food was just ok. The bread was hard and the flavored butter on top was an unpleasant taste. The Fish I ordered was supposed to be Battered but came out looking breaded. My three little pieces looked like chicken tenders instead of battered fish and the fries were so salty I did not finish them My Aunt and My son stated their food was good as did My husband but the wait to get the food was ridiculous. Still no acknowledgment of the birthdays so we paid and left. Disappointing experience and will not return

Greatest service in Huntsville!

I ordered the Angus chopped steak and it was delicious. Our entire party enjoyed each entree and the appetizer was tasty as well.

Great visit. Food and service were prefect as usual. The strawberry spinach salad with grilled chicken was delicious. My business partner had a steak and he loved it. Nice work Connors.

A solid 4/5 experience. Its not a high-end steak restaurant and it doesnt have high-end prices. We all(4) thought the prices were reasonable, for the quality received. Our server was EXCELLENT, there when needed, and prompt with everything. This type of restaurant, that offers better than average food, with good service, all at a fair price, is rare today. Id take Connors every time over places that cost twice as much and only deliver a slightly superior product.

Always great. Never disappoints. Kareem is the best! The most not way this could improve is with white linen table clothes and scraping bread crumbs between courses. I am ok without that. Steaks, fish, pork, sides, desserts all good!

What is there to say - really excellent food, excellent service, good atmosphere, given size and parking constraints.

Food did not come out hot. Service have not been good the last two times I went our waiter Kareem was not friendly both times. I almost asked for another waiter when I seen who we had again but decided to give him another chance. It was the same no smiles, and barely checked in on us. He was very friendly to others he served around us but when it came to our table very rude. I will ask for another waiter and it will be a long time before I visit Connor s again.

To the cooking staff who cooked my mouth watering and melt in your mouth Ribeye.... Thank You for the perfect steak. The meal meal was awesome, only wished I had room for the Stawberry Shortcake, maybe next time.

Our server was amazing, however, the food was bland. I got the fish tacos and I was very disappointed.

Needs a reboot. Living on reputation alone from when it was the only steakhouse in town.

Overall, a good experience. but.... Went in at 9:00pm on a Saturday night recently. Server took a while to greet the table. No problem as he had other tables. We placed our order. Roughly 15 minutes after placing our order, he comes out and informs my wife that they were out of what she ordered. She got something else. After an unusually long time, food comes out. Was good. Where was our server? We thought hed been abducted or quit. If wed have been in need of anything after the food had come out, tough. We concluded that he seemed more interested in getting his side work done than taking care of his customers. He finally dropped the check by our table and proceeded to disappear again. Another ten minutes clicks by and he finally picked up my card and does actually get back to the table quickly. What should have been about a 1 hour and maybe 10 minute dining experience took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Connors, please have your servers focus more on the customers and less on their end of the night detail.

Too much Boursin. Bread should be served with real butter they had some sort of cheesy pesto butter. Salad didnt have bacon bits it had fakenbits . Great steaks, which they diminished with fake smoke. We were there 6 months ago and had a five star experience, we know the menu changed and suspect their chef changed - not for the better. Another fine restaurant that s slipped. Do not need a reply.

We both ate a wonder prime rib in honor of celebrating my 58th birthday with the server Abby . She made it extra special for us !!

The sea bass is beyond words. It can be very challenging to make a reservation for a party.

Had a phenomenal boursin filet. Food was tremendous. Ate at the bar and the bartenders were outstanding. Cant recommend this restaurant enough. Great experience!

This was our first visit to a Connors and we will be back! Jason was our server and he was AMAZING! He walked us through the menu, all the specials and made recommendations based on our feedback. Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fancy, the atmosphere was amazing, but it was a very casual and comfortable experience. Thank you for making my husbands birthday memorable! Kid-friendliness: We didnt have our children there, but many families did!

The place has excellent food. Waiter too quiet and staff could be a little friendlier. Parking: Parking is so crowded. It is with all the shopping stores.

Visiting my family in Huntsville and a friend recommended Connors to me. This place is absolutely fantastic. We sat in the patio area. Our server was Will. He did an amazing job taking care of me and my wife. We ordered some cocktails. I highly recommend the ultraviolet lemonade. The bread was served with a seasoned butter that is delicious. Korean short ribs as our appetizer. Definitely try these when you stop in. The meat was fall off the bone tender. Very flavorful meat. My wife had the crab cakes with the artichoke spinach dip. She liked the crab cakes, but she felt they had more breading than crab meat. Spinach dip was fantastic. I ordered the sirloin steak medium. It was cooked slightly longer than I wanted. I prefer a little more pink when I cut into the steak, but the flavor was undeniable. It was outstanding. 30 seconds less on each side, and its perfect. Really enjoyed our experience here. Nice decor fantastic staff. We will be back!

Conners Steak an Seafood is an another excellent restaurant in Huntsville, AL. Because its good, it had a large lunch crowd. Had the 5oz Salmon and baked potatoes. Wonderful meal and priced. Cleaned my plate since it was so tasteful. The service and ambiance are excellent as well. One of several must eat places in Huntsville.

Went with my wife for our 10 year anniversary this past week and it was amazing. Food and drinks were great service was perfect couldnt have asked for a better meal if you havent been your missing out. Parking: Parking is a little crazy but it was a Friday night also so kinda expected.

Connors used to be such a great place to go for a nice dinner. Last night, with a group of corporate teammates, we had the worst experience ever. The hosts were rude, the waiter was so awful and slow, and the food was nothing like we used to experience here. Im not sure if they have new owners or different management, but we will not be going back sadly.

Me and my partner have now been here on two special occasions, both times the staff have gone above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and personable. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection, worth every penny and then some. We got the chicken piccata and the New York Strip steak, the steak was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection, the best steak Ive ever had. The chicken was so tender that you didnt even need a knife to cut it. You can tell the chefs have a superb talent and love for the craft. The atmosphere only adds to what can easily be described as the best restaurant in Huntsville. I will and have recommended this place to everyone for any occasion and we will return.

We have taken 3 different sets of friends here 3 weeks in a row. The service and food were all excellent. I believe the lady manager is very friendly and always asks how things are. Our meal last night was exceptionally good. I had Lobster Bisque and Chilean Sea Bass. My wife had the filet, omg her filet was excellent also. Thank You for not letting us down. Our guests were very impressed. And let s not forget our waitress Tamitha last night. She was excellent.

We havent been in a while (probably over a year), but past experiences were very good. Food was better than a lot of places and right on par with my opinion of the restaurant level. Food was rather expensive. Service was by far the best quality. Will visit soon to see if they are still of high quality. As of our last visit, I wouldnt highly recommend them.

The salmon is always a great choice. Cooked to perfection, its moist, flaky, and well seasoned.

To be honest, I prolly wont be going back. The bang just isnt worth the buck. Ive had better steaks at Longhorn and at 1/3 the overall dinner cost. When a family of 4 visits ya restaurant and spends $250 it should be a highlight of your eating out experience, we left feeling meh.

Went in on my lunch break with a group of co-workers and sadly to say we were all pretty disappointed with our choices. The shrimp & grits were good the calamari was good but I ordered the grilled chicken club and it was NOT good at all. It was very blan had no flavor and my friend ordered a steak Philly and it was blan unflavored & unseasoned. I heard such good things about the restaurant but was extremely disappointed. Unfortunately because of my experience I will probably not be coming back nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

Always great experience at connors, be sure to make reservations early, especially if you have a large group. The new York strip was great, I opted for sautéed onions and the Brussel sprouts with a starter Cesar salad, just amazing, would come back on my next visit to huntsville

We just walked in for my birthday but was not happy with my dining experience, we were seated outside with my little kids, and it was so hot out and bugs flying all over us around our food. And they didnt sing a happy bday to me and she said that they cant sing to me. next time we will just go to Cheesecake Factory. Very dissapointed I spend so much money and waitress said that she cannot sing a happy bday to me and thats all I ever wanted, is that too much to ask?

A business supper with 2 others. We all got Salmon cooked to 3 different temps, medium rare, medium and crusty, and they got it all spot on. We ordered 3 different sides (asparagus , creamed spinach and brussel sprouts) and shared, this worked perfect for the three of us and again, spot on flavors. I would definitely go back.

Excellent food and service, my wife ordered the lobster tail, and said it was the best she ever had, I got the salmon and it was also delicious. Very friendly staff and delicious food. If you plan on eating dinner, especially on the weekend make a reservation as it s extremely busy.

Excellent food and fair prices

For 16 years this has been our favorite restaurant. Everything we have ever ordered has been spectacular. Service is top of the line as is the atmosphere. Connors is the standard by which all other restaurants are measured and it has yet to be topped.

Though we visit often and love the environment we recently had a horrible trip. While trying to celebrate our anniversary myself and my pregnant wife were sat down and ordered our food. Shortly after a group of working men were sat next to us. These men smelled of cat urine. My wife became nauseous and we left with our boxed up food. By the time we got to eat we were microwaving a $150 meal.

Met some folks there for lunch. Great food and nice servers.

Only problem I had was my Ceasars salad was drowning in dressing all other food items where great.

11/10 this is the best restaraunt in the area for lunch or dinner. Best food best prices best service. Your welcome!

Connors was amazing! We all loved everything we had to eat even dessert. The waitress staff was amazing as well. One of the best places Ive ever eaten. Highly recommend. It is on the price side though. Well worth every penny though.

Never fails to provide perfection. Last time, we sat at the bar, which offers a full menu, since the wait for a table was going to be 1-2 hours. We had the best time! Bar staff was magnificent friendly and efficient. Wonderful experience.

The wonderful steak grill smoke coming from this place is what brought us in; however, after looking at the menu we decided on something other than steak. I went for the Ahi Tuna Stack and my hubby went for the Spicy Korean Style Ribs, swapping the fries for the rice roasted creamed corn. Both meals were great; however, the issue was that my Ahi Tuna came out almost 15 minutes before my husbands ribs. They brought it and sat it down, they had another plate in their other hand and I thought that was his, but they walked away. Thinking they would be right back, I waited to eat. After a couple minutes I began eating because it s meant to be a cold dish and it was fish at that, but I tried to eat really slowly which kinda ruined the meal for me having to think hard at how to eat, how fast or slow to eat, etc . You d think that they would have timed the meals better where they would come out at the same time or at least close to it. With that said, the food was good. The atmosphere, I felt like the inside was kinda dark and it was such a pretty day we decided to eat on the patio. The patio was a tad warm. The fans were on what appeared to be the lowest setting and if it had been taken up a notch or two that would have been great. Our server wasn t terrible, but she wasn t impressive. She didn t really check in with us, ask us how our meal was or anything. We had to ask for water and ice refills despite her being within view of our table. Maybe it was an off day for her. Despite it all, we will more than likely go back for another visit to give them another chance. **For prospective, my photos show what was left of my Ahi Tuna meal and how much was left when they brought my husbands Korean ribs after almost 15 minutes between meal delivery.

Sit at the bar always a great experience.

Ordered a ribeye medium rare and it ca m e out well done. The appetizers were great and they did bring me a new steak to take home with me, but for the price and supposed quality level of this restaurant the ribeye I got was very thin and low quality. My guess is it was a select cut at best. It is a decent place to try, but I would not put it in the upper level steak house class.

Food of course is a little pricier than some places, but you get what you pay for here. Food and presentation are always amazing and large portions. Food is always cooked precise. This is how medium rare prime rib and real au jus should look and taste.

We celebrated our 39 year anniversary. We made reservations for 8:30 got there about 7:15 checked in and they seated us at 8 which was awesome. The food was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised with the prices for our meal. The service was very good, our waitress was Mia she was on top of everything! Our glasses never got empty. She was very nice and efficient. We set outside on the patio and it was a nice evening. Bridge street is a beautiful place.

One is the best places in Huntsville to get a steak. The filet is so good! Love it! Usually hard to get a table if you dont reserve few days before though.

Traditional steakhouse ambiance. Great wine list. Happy hour is perfect. Staff is attentive, friendly and work well together constantly helping each other out. Best bourbon burger on National Cheeseburger Day! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Crab cakes were inedible. Smelled fishy and tasted worse. Ive never written a review before, but do so now because this was such a bad experience.

So glad I got to finally try this place while I was on a work trip. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Im a lover of lobster bisque and this one was amazing. Great amount of lobster and crab meat in it. I also got the prime rib with the black truffle butter and it was fantastic as well. Did need a little salt but Im also a salt fiend. I can see why the mashed potatoes are so popular as well. So creamy and flavorful. My server, Aiden was so wonderful and worked with the bartender to get me a delicious mocktail that went perfect with my meal. I love the location as well. Very open and picturesque and great for walking around before or after your meal. This meal was also in memory of my boss as it was her favorite restaurant when she was alive and it was a very special experience. Definitely recommend making a reservation even on weekdays as its very popular place.

I dined in and ate dinner at the bar. The bartender and hostess were both courteous. My steak was cooked to my liking, and the mash potatoes were good. The Cesar salad was good, and my bartender made an excellent long island.

If I could afford it we would eat here all the time. Love the pesto butter, fabulous tender steaks. Love the mashed potatoes, didn t care for the truffle deviled eggs as someone who loves normal southern deviled eggs. It s got a funky taste. Great service! Definitely get a reservation for dinner.

Normally I have NO issues when I dine here..but this time wait was ridiculous even after having a reservation..the food was delicious ..but the service was extremely slow..wanted for 20 minutes after being seated for a server..it would have been longer had we not reminded them that we didnt have a server..

It was a Wednesday, pretty steady crowd but not where 2 ppl couldnt be seated b4 2 other couples, a party of 3 and a party of 4. Other than that, I absolutely enjoyed my dinner.

The food was good. But a new york strip was 45 $ and it wasnt even cooked like I asked for it. But it was a good steak. They was really busy. Took for ever to get a refill on a dr pepper. And I was setting at the bar. Make sure you go you make reservations

Had a terrible experience at Kona grill that made us call Connors to see if they could fit us in on a Saturday night. They told us to come right over and sat us right away. Aubrey was amazing! Not only did they clearly and honestly care about our experience, but they even worked to make up for Kona Grill being so horrible. Aubrey went above and beyond the whole time we were there. We will never eat anywhere else on Bridge street. We know where we re taken care of and that s definitely Connors. Thank you Aubrey!

Boss decided to treat us to lunch here. Everything took entirely too long. He paid for all of us and got his food dead last and his order was wrong. He didnt complain he just ate it for the most part But our food arrived pretty early and we were almost done eating by the time he got his order. Not cool

Normally this place is great but we took my mother out for her bday and did not have the best experience. On the specials menu I got the ribeye which was like $72 and asked for it to be pink in the center and it came back charred on the outside Grey in the center and dry. They WAY overcooked it. Ive never sent anything back before but I was going to this time. The problem was that we never saw our waitress again. After everyone was done eating I went to the restroom and bumped into her and she asked if we were ready for the check lol. I was like dang its too late now so I just said yeah amd walked off. She was too concerned about a bigger party that sat down that we never got our drinks refilled. She was great at first really nice and bubbly personality just not attentive. Guess she was worried about that bigger tip for that bigger party... it sucks that you drop that kind of money on dinner and an experience and thats what you get in return. I took 3 bites of my steak and couldnt eat anymore. Basically I paid 72 for some Mac n cheese and French fries. My mom, wife, and daughter did like their food tho so thats good...

I had the Berry Salad and it was amazing!!!

The four of us had a 7:00 pm dinner reservation on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. We arrived at 6:50 and were seated immediately in a lovely booth located at the back of the restaurant. The restaurant was very busy but the ambiance was perfect for a special evening celebration. Our server Nate quickly appeared at our table, took our drink orders and shared the specials for the evening. He then returned with our drinks and took our orders. Nate was very personable, professional and funny. He really made the evening enjoyable. All of our food selections were prepared perfectly as ordered. Two of us had fish. One had steak and the other had pasta. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will return.

One of the best meals we have had in northern Alabama! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The same goes for the prime rib. The appetizer was fried green tomato slices with a cheesy grits. It was extremely tasty and highly recommended!

We always have the best meals at Connors. Filet with an add-on crabcake, garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli is my go to order. Its always delicious and perfectly cooked.

The steak was tender and the Brussels sprouts were crispy on the outside and scrumptious on the inside. Service was great and they had a tasty toffee ice cream.

Came out to conners steak house and waited in line to be seated or on waiting list. The hosts let people cut in front of us and get there names and we confronted them about it and no apologies. So we just left.. also we was giving conners a chance again since they messed up on our food last time and had a bad attitude by a manager. They also didnt have our gift card when a supervisor was supposed to have one waiting on us.

We went to Connors in Huntsville Alabama today well we were waiting in line. We were up next well as we walked up to the hostess to put our names down she actually let someone cut in front of us. She looked at us and laughed when we said we were next. We witnessed her do this to another family. The hostesses was so rude she shouldnt be working there. Absolutely horrible service

Food was amazing! Fried green tomatoes.. OMG! The best! New York strip was perfect! But the best was our server Lauren M!!! I would give her 10 !! She was the best of the best! Will definitely ask for her when we go back!

One of our favorite restaurants in the Huntsville metro area. Consistent quality and service. We often come here for special occasions or the random delicious lunch. I recommend it to anyone in the area!
