Ruth's Chris Steak House in Huntsville

I wish I had took a picture of my NY Strip. Fabulous and lean cut of meat. It was cooked to medium and tasty. The sides of potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and mushrooms enhanced it. One of the best steaks in town.

My husband and I went tonight for dinner as we were on our way to his company christmas party, I have eaten here many times and every time has been amazing. This time being no short of amazing. We sat in the bar area because all the tables for the evening were booked. At first there was an older gentlemen who yelled at us for being on the wrong side of the table who put a sour taste in our mouth, but eventually a wonderful young man with dark hair and a ponytail waited on us and he was absolutely amazing and attentive I wish I caught his name! We ordered the BBQ shrimp meal and the filet medium with the shrimp and the filet came out TOASTED. there was nothing medium about it, but the manager was so sweet and fixed it for us and took it off our bill which was completely unwarranted! Overall service and experience was amazing and will back.

Parking: Be careful where you park. They love to give out parking tickets. There is no clear area for parking for Ruths Chris. Food

Chilean seabass was amazing. However, if I knew they were going to charge me for a side, I would not have ordered it. $15 for greasy brussels sprouts is just plain stupid.

Celebrated my husband and my friend s husbands birthday on 8/31. Destinee was our server and we were also helped by Caiti. They were both outstanding! We had both types of shrimp and calamari for appetizers. All of us had filets for dinner and we also had Brussel sprouts and augratin potatoes. Everything was excellent. This was our first time at the Huntsville location and we will definitely return.

I mean... Its Ruths Chris. Lives up to everything youd expect from this brand. Vegetarian options: Its a steak restaurant. You can order a side salad or share side orders, but its not really a place for vegetarians. Parking: They might validate parking. Couldnt say for sure as Ive always been fortunate to find a free spot on the street. Dont count on getting lucky - HSV seems determined to become the next Nash-hell. Kid-friendliness: Not really an appropriate place to bring kids. Maybe if theyre very mature and well-behaved. But, this isnt Chuckie Cheese... If your kids cant get dressed in business casual and sit quietly for an hour or so, leave them at home.

We had a great date night last night. The service was great, our steaks were perfect, and our server Don recommended a nice bottle of wine. We are making plans to return soon.

Although the servers were all very nice and polite, it was incredibly slow and very non responsive. I made the reservation through open table and sent in a review through open able and never heard back. I do not recommend this location.

We decided go ruth chris on a late Saturday afternoon at 5pm Had lobster Mac and cheese was horrible over cooked and dry. Husband had a filet over cooked yet he ate it anyway and didnt complain, he goes wont ever eat here again. Only good thing was waiter he was great Not his fault he didnt cook it. If your gonna charge high prices cook the food to perfection. I do NOT recommend Ruth Chris to eat at.

We go fairly often and every single time we experience excellent service. The food is always amazing and the cocktails are hard to rival. From the appetizers like the Fried Oysters and Seared Ahi Tuna, to the melt in your mouth NY Strip and Filet, we can always count on an exceptional experience. Even the desserts will satisfy the most critical pallet. Tonight, like every other night we ve visited was no exception. Don was our server and he s the epitome of what restaurant staff should strive to be. We will come back again and again. Thank you Don and thank you HSV Ruth s Chris for making every experience, memorable!

I came here for my Birthday dinner. They were out of the Cowboy Ribeye, so I got the regular ribeye and potatoes au gratin. I ordered the steak mid rare and it came out cold and dark red, super rare. I sent it back and they reheated the steak. It had a huge cut in it and did t taste like a Ruth s Chris steak should where the juices are seared in. The potatoes were cold, but I didn t mention that to the server. My wife ordered a filet medium and that came out fine. A day or two later I sent an email on their website with the date and time of order. They never responded. I lived in NOLA and just moved here. I really hope they make improvements if I ever go back.

We visited this eatery as guests for a financial security presenter. The staff were pleasant and professional, and the food was excellent. The stuffed chicken breast was exquisite, and the creamed spinach was my favorite of the sides we had. Parking: A large public parking lot is located just 50 or so yards from the entrance to this restaurant.

We went to Ruth Chris in huntsville for our anniversary. We felt extremely rushed and unwelcomed. The waiter took my food to box it up without even asking me if I was done. It was supposed to a romantic evening but it was a bad experience. We have visited Ruth Chris in st louis missouri and it was fantastic the waiter made food suggestions spent time on us and was phenomenal. Hunstville do better.

Food is great but both times I ve been there the main waiter (got him both times, only guy I ve seen in the wait staff) was quite condescending and rude. Don t plan on returning to this location as this guy truly makes the experience quite unpleasant just in his attitude towards us on our anniversary.

Fantastic service, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food!

Worst ever! Ordered crabcakes, ten minutes later they came back with no crabcakes, ordered Brussels sprouts ten minutes later no Brussels sprouts. At the end they came back three times to remind us that no tips were included.

Steaks were pretty good, but there are better steaks at lower prices elsewhere. Our plates were presented to another couple at our table before we spoke up and claimed them as our own. Mashed potatoes were flavored with something we did not particularly care for. Atmosphere was very nice.

I have been to this location several times over the last few years and I have never been disappointed. Don has served myself and my husband several times, and he is always courteous and goes above and beyond. Love this location!

Food was phenomenal as usual. We were a little disappointed when we got home and realized our waiter forgot to box up our sides with our steak, but overall a good experience.

This was our first time at a Ruths Chris. We often eat at Mortons or Flemings, so the prices were not surprising for prime steaks. First, the good points. The steaks were okay and served sizzling hot as advertised, and our server Bert was knowledgeable and attentive. The French bread loaf was tasty. Now, the average points. The potatoes au gratin were not quite cooked all the way, and were room temperature. Also, no seasoning other than the scant cheese on top. The sides are touted as being served family-style, enough for sharing. Well, they were enough for sharing if you were a family of leprechauns. Interesting that the plates the steaks are served on are not any bigger than the steaks themselves and so you are asked to use your bread plate to eat your sides on, ignoring the previous crumbs and butter from the bread service. Some tables had tablecloths, but none of the booths like ours had anything more than a formica top. The restaurant style atmosphere was okay, but not clubby like a high-end steakhouse should be. If you are not into the alcoholic beverages, the Coca-Cola selections are limited. Limited by choice and by serving as each small bottle is a la carte and priced separately. Thats not sophisticated, thats just cheap, what with the presentation of a 6 oz bottle from 7-Eleven.

This is the place you go to impress someone. Youre paying for atmosphere. The food is over priced and unremarkable. You can get much better food elsewhere. Id never come here again.

I visited Ruth s Chris today at 5:30 I ordered the stuffed chicken w/Mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole.. my daughter got the salmon with a ceaser salad and needless to say I was served raw chicken I cut into it and took a bite and the texture was not right I cut into it some more to open it up and the inside was completely raw the cream cheese filling was still cold I showed my waitress he apologized and took it to the kitchen they finished cooking the same chicken I had cut into and brought it back.. all of the filling was cooked out of it so I told them just dont worry about it.. the waitress said he would get a manger and get it take off the check.. the manger stood at the table right behind me talking to some people she know about her kids and whatever sports they play for almost 25 mins the workers were constantly trying to get her attention but she just keep standing there talking... Im not sure how she wasnt observant enough to see what was going on at the table right beside her but she continued to talk nonetheless.. my waiter said he would get me another chicken cooked and I can take it with me but I was stuck eating the Mac and cheese and sweet potato which I ordered to go With my chicken.. The chicken finally came out to go after sitting there waiting 30 mins for it and the manager finally stopped talking and brought it to the table and apologized for the chicken not having any stuffing in it..... which was not the issue the chicken was raw and they finished cooking the same chicken which made all the stuffing come out of it.... She acted as if it wasnt a big deal... needless to say I still ended up having to pay for the sides thats I only ordered to eat along with the chicken smh I always visit this Ruths Chris and this experience was the worst ever.. almost $100 and 2 hours waisted I could have gotten extremely sick from this and ended up in the hospital... my waitress was great though he did all He could to help .. someone needs to let the manager know serving raw chicken should not be taken so lightly

We went for Restaurant Week, but no one at the restaurant seemed to know about it. So, we were unable to get the $ off the extra side or the dinners special price. The location is odd, but once you enter, you are treated well. High dining at a high dining price. Service was good. The bus-girls/ helpers did most of the work, I wish we would have tipped her directly. Steak and shrimp were on point. Mash potatoes were creamy and a little spicy. Raspberry sorbet was a great substitute for the cheesecake. We will probably not return. Parking: Parking garage is close, but Im not sure if you can park here.

Went to happy hour and was served one drink by the bartender. Phillip brought us waters then she walked away and stood at the host stand and never came back to ask if we wanted anything to eat or another drink. Never had an issue like this before.

Traveled all the way here for dinner and sign on the door says closed for a private event. Would have been nice to see this on Google instead of driving here to see its closed. Unacceptable.

The fillet was the best steak I have ever eaten.

My husband tookr for my birthday. Pleasant atmosphere. Our waiter was amazing. Good food. The hostest at the door was not quite pleasant, so we felt uncomfortable at first. However, our waiter fixed that first rough impression.

The steak was excellent, but the creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes were bland. The servers were very nice and attentive. Our table was in a nice little private corner but we could hear some grinding noise coming through the wall.

Demetre was our server 20/10 for service and recommendations. I had the lamb chops they were pretty flavorful and tender! Will be back and requesting the same server!!

Atmosphere was a bit stuck up I got a cold shoulder initially from my server I had on nice shorts and a button down shirt and sat at the community table adjacent to the bar.

Phillip was out server and he was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant. But above all our sever was what made it even better.

Steaks very good. Best crab cakes around these are blue claw and it s all crab meat. Cost..:I had the crab cakes appetizer wife had a wedge salad we both had the 11oz fillet with a the lobster Mac and cheese and it was over 250 with a tip. It s been a very long time since we have been there and a while since we have been out but I do feel they are simply in the wrong location. I believe they can do much better if they moved place was not full at all. Only issue is a minor one. Understand we are about quality of food not quantity so we should never hear the question would you like your fillet butterflied. I order my steak medium rare wife got hers medium well. The only reason they would do this is because they slap the steaks on the grill at the same time. While my thick cut cooks to a medium rare the other butterfly cooks to a medium well. At the cost here you would think the chef would know how to time this so both remain thick cuts.

We had such a wonderful visit. Our server Don was attentive. Kept drinks full was knowledgeable about the menu. Food was Excellent! This will be our go to place.

Definitely not worth going back.Took my wife for our anniversary.They were completely out of the one thing she wanted on the menu (stuffed chicken).I ordered a sprite and asked the waitress to change it out for a coke because it was flat.She then informed me it shouldn t be because it came out of a can.I informed her that I do not drink hot sodas over cold ice.So she found a small bottled sprite for me.The extremely high Mac and cheese just seemed like dry Kraft with a little lobster meat on it.Sadly there are so many other places that we ve been to and enjoyed,that I wished we would have went back to.

My husband and I went to Ruths Chris-Huntsville to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. Starting with the hostess, each employee we came in contact with acknowledged our anniversary. Our waiter for the night was Don P. He was so wonderful and engaging the whole night. My husband ordered the ribeye and a loaded baked potato, I had the stuffed chicken breast with a salad and au gratin potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a fantastic flavor. My stuffed chicken breast was juicy and flavorful, the au gratin potatoes were delicious and cheesy. What sets this restaurant so far above other restaurants is the attention to, what most would call, the little details. My husband ordered Dr. Pepper to drink, instead of bringing him a glass filled from some soda fountain, Don brought him a glass bottle of Dr. Pepper and poured it into his glass right at the table. It was the cracked black pepper offered for my salad. It was Don boxing up our leftovers for us. It was the complimentary dessert he brought us to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for making tonight a most memorable experience for my husband and me.

Want great service, great food, upscale atmosphere, little pricey, but worth the putting if youre going to dress up and impress someone...

It was a slow night when I stopped in for the first visit. I ordered from the RUTH S CLASSICS PRIX FIXE MENU and selected the filet mignon and lobster tail. I had a small issue with the steak being overcooked which was quickly remedied by the insistence of the waiter and manager, without me asking to replace it. I give kudos to both for excellent customer service. Both the lobster and steak were great and will order it again! The salad, bread, and Creamed Spinach were also good but will try other items next time. Im glad I stopped in and will be back.

My first time trying Ruth Chris and it was amazing, from the service to the food. I will definitely try them again.

Unfortunately this experience was a severe let down after reading the glowing reviews from google. The server and manger were very helpful but the kitchen staff needs serious work. We were there for my bday dinner and had ordered a 6oz and 11oz filet. At first they brought two 6oz filets instead of what we ordered but then my date cut into her steak and it was rare, where even the server noticed it was rare compared to the medium well that was ordered. I switched steaks with her and she was able to eat mine while the kitchen cooked my 11oz filet. They brought it out after about 11min and the 11oz filet was cold in the middle aka raw.. At this point I am disappointed and just wanted to leave since all I had were shrimp and crab cakes. Lastly why are the plates served so hot to customers? They kept saying the plates are 500 degrees and to not touch them when served, arnt plates supposed to be kept warm under the warming lamp and not served to us with boiling butter.

Visited May 2024 A good solid chain steakhouse. Not having been to many steak restaurants in town, I assume this one is above average in quality and price. The $80 ribeye was tasty, very salty, and very buttery. The sides (ordered mushrooms and fries) are served family style and were above average. I was much more impressed with the sides than the steaks. Overall this is a great meal and atmosphere for a special occasion for people who want a nice predictable meal with no surprises. May go again.

My expectations knowing the prices and everything ala carte were no where the delivery. Windows were dirty, light fixtures were glass and dirty. Table chair was sagging seat. Expectations for me was a prime rn rare with ai jus Instead it was a rib eye heavily seasoned thrown in the grill. Will say it was as I red rare. No one will ever convince me it was a prime rib roast ( vs a rib eye which is lower rib cut). Mine had to much tendons. The filet was sent back 3 times and never did get it right and the my friend lost his appetite plus we were finished eating. Check please. No complaints about service as all were very nice but certainly not the high end service expected for the prices ie: 67$ for a ribeye aka a prime rib . Also Ceasar salad meaning the lettuce was fresh and crisp the dressing and croutons were right out of the Sysco delivery truck. Worst experience and would not recommend eating there. Did I mention the chair at the table was was well worn with sagging springs. Save your money not worth the price.

Salmon is Atlantic, and overpriced for Atlantic salmon. Prepared well, but a poor quality as opposed to Sockeye or King.

We used to love Ruths Chris. Atmosphere was bad, food was not up to quality of Ruths Chris and we were barely waited on even by the assistant servers because there was a large party they were serving. I felt a little unsafe here because of a situation that we felt was happening. The manager on duty comped our meal, which we felt was insulting. We did not want a free meal, we wanted our Anniversary Dinner experience to be great like every other visit to Ruths Chris in the past.

We enjoyed our Anniversary Celebration here at Ruth Chris (Downtown Atlanta). Emily was our server and did a fantastic job in serving us.

This was a great disappointment. My husband chose Ruth s Chris because we d eaten at other locations and had excellent meals. The steak was good, but the lamb chops were very tough. Vegetables were cold and unseasoned. Asparagus was too raw to chew. The apple pie was delicious. Service was poor. The odor of the restrooms permeated the short hallway to them and into the table area. Where is the Health Department? $355 for food that wasn t near as good as a cheap family restaurant. Unfortunately, we wasted which was, probably, our last wedding anniversary.

My experience was great, and my waitress made it entirely better! Dani is great, and made my birthday special, thank you!!!

I will never go back to this property again. Tired of getting a parking ticket for parking in a garage about 100 yards away from the restaurant. Why don t you have valet parking for us older folks I guess it s because you re so cheap. Kid-friendliness: Despite the fact that there was no parking for us, the kids had a good time. I will never come back to this property again.

Highly disappointed in the food for a Ruth Chris and the service was ridiculous!! It was New Years Eve and on a Sunday but that s no excuse for a place like this. We had to walk to the bar twice just to get water, had to walk to the bar to request our check cause we got tired of waiting and watching the guy keep walking by and not even look our way! The young lady that brought our food out was very nice and helpful but other than that not good at all. For the prices here we will not be back! It s always been really good before but never again! Oh yea the garlic mashed potatoes nearly made me puke

We stopped going to Ruths Chris several years ago because the service was degrading so much. We tried again and now the food is somewhat worse. Both our steaks were undercooked. The service was great, but theyre not enforcing the dress code. Wed like to go somewhere nice and not see flannel shirts, sweatshirts/pants, t-shirts, leggings, etc.

Our server was 10 stars, but I have to agree with multiple other reviews that you pay out a lot for just okay. We have eaten here once before, and our usual spot was closed for Xmas, so we gave R.C. another shot. We assumed that since they were one of very few nice places to eat and open on Xmas, that they would be on their game. Again, service was amazing, but we literally paid $200 for our steaks to come out opposite of what we ordered. When you upgrade to the 11oz filet, you expect to get what you pay for, but not so much. We did not say anything at the time because we did not want to make a big deal on Xmas, but I cannot get over how disappointed we are from the one thing RC is known for. I am originally from NOLA, so the next time I get a hankering for RC, I will drive down there. I guess that is what happens when you cut corners and disregard your usual spot for steaks. Connors is where it is at if you want to cut your steaks with a spoon!

The environment was great and our Waiter, Don was a pure joy. He had the pleasantness, humor and smile that ll invite customers back. I really enjoyed the food, and the wonderful SERVICE. Stay sweet and kind Don. You re greatly appreciated. Parking: Great parking.

We celebrated Riley & Melvin s birthday on 1/27/2023 and everything was excellent. Food cooked to perfection. The staff was amazing and the atmosphere very elegant.

Ruth Chris, Huntsville Location, did NOT disappoint! Our server, Don was AMAZING!! From the food recommendations to the all around service that he provided! If you go there request him!! If you can t have him, get Burt! They are the only two original employees since the doors opened and it shows!! Excellent service!!

Don was an excellent server! He suggested an excellent drink for us to celebrate Valentine s Day properly! He was attentive and amiable and made our experience meaningful. We hope to come back soon!

My husband and I celebrated our Valentines dinner here last night, everything was great. We had the calamari and stuffed mushrooms for our appetizers. The calamari was tender, seasoned perfectly and the sweet and sour sauce gave it an extra nice taste. The stuffed mushrooms was also delicious, tender, and juicy. We prefer some melted cheese baked over ours, but they were very tasty. For our entrees, we had the crab cakes and the crusted sea bass!!! OMG!!! BOTH WERE DELICIOUS!!!! Our server Demetre, was exceptional!! He made sure we had a wonderful date night and was very attentive to our requests. We will definitely visit again. Sorry no photos, we were super hungry and didnt think about it until it was too late lol. I would also like to give our appreciation to the valet driver, (I didnt get his name) but as soon as we pulled up, he came to the passenger side and opened my door, so I really appreciate his service, regardless of how small it may seem.

My husband and I came here recently and had a great experience with the staff. The food was amazing per usual and we loved every single drink that we had. Everything was so full of flavor and the portions were great! Potatoes were a little on the dense side than creamy, but I guess that s just preference. The atmosphere is different than some of the other Ruth s Chris restaurants that we ve been to in the past in a more dark and moody atmosphere, but still very enjoyable! I will say, we made reservations and did have to wait quite a bit longer than we had anticipated and overall our dining time from walking in the door to leaving was a little over over 2 hours. Definitely make sure to plan for that in advance! Otherwise, the staff were wonderful and helped us with any questions we had. We will be back for sure!

This was my first time eating at the Ruth s Chris in Huntsville. My server Demetra was like any other server I had ever seen! He went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy person. The food was excellent as well as Demetra. I would recommend this restaurant and double recommend this server Demetra a.k.a. Rickey Smiley:)

From the greeting of the hostess to the waiter and servers, they were all excellent and proper. The double Woodford Reserve was filled to the brim. Very generous portion. The fillet, which I had the chef cook to his own standards was absolutely phenomenal. The beef itself was obviously very good. It was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. It was brought still sizzling in butter. The seasoning was excellent in that it complimented, not overwhelmed the beef. The texture was heavenly. Over-the-top excellence. The Ahi Tuna was also unbelievably delicious and perfectly seared. The sides were well portioned, enough for sharing, and ridiculously delicious. We ate well and felt very satisfied afterward. Not bloated and overstuffed, not still hungry, but peculiarly and wonderfully satisfied. Whoever the chef was that night knows what he is doing! We ordered conservatively yet spent over $200.00. The prices are definitely high. Thankfully, there is nothing to say about the service nor the quality of the food to make the expenditure remorseful. There was an issue with cleanliness in the women s bathroom. And there was a man and woman sitting near us engaging in inappropriate touching. But the rest of the visit was so excellent, it hardly detracted from our experience. We ll be coming back to Ruth s Chris in Huntsville.

Amazing, much too fancy of a place for me to be in. Im not used to the frivolity of fine dining server responsibilities but damn do they take care of you. The food is just , I dont have the words.

I love Ruths Chris steak house. The food is very good. We used to go for the ( fine dining experience) you no longer get the waiter and helper to cater to your needs. One waiter for 3 or 4 tables isnt the same. No different than Conners or Char. Its just not worth $450 bucks for 4 anymore.

I had the best experience here. Our waiter Demetra was amazing. I went there after my engagement and he went above and beyond to keep us laughing and enjoy the experience. He answered every question and made our first experience one to remember for a lifetime. I will definitely be going back there. Worth EVERY PENNY!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here. It was both of our first times at Ruth s Chris and we could not recommend it more. Out server Bea was very kind and made for a wonderful first experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Went to Ruth s Chris Steakhouse in Huntsville for dinner. First time ever to a Ruth s Chris for the two of us. The experience from walking through the door till the end was definitely a five star experience! Trudy, our server, went beyond our expectations. She made sure we understood the menu, and even gave recommendations. We ordered the seafood tower to start. What a beautiful setup of the seafood tower!! Everything on there was delicious and the sauces complemented it very well. For our entrees, we got the filet mignon and ribeye with sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes. The flavors were on point, cooked to medium rare perfection, and divine all around. We have never had steak that amazing! Trudy made sure we had everything we needed to make our first Ruth s Chris experience memorable and she did just that. The whole staff and ambience was unmatched. Bravo! We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Beautiful, luxurious, exactly what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. 5/5 The staff was friendly, 4/5 because the waiter recommended we split a single salad but still charged us for two salads. Paid around $200 for an app, a steak, 2 salads and 2 drinks. The calamari was trying so hard to be good but it simply wasn t. 2/5 (To the manager: go get some I Love Sushi calamari and make it like that if you re gonna do spicy sweet thai style.) The steak was great 4/5, the drinks were excellent 5/5, the salads and potatoes au gratin were meh. 2/5 Just gonna say it, it s good but it s not Connors. Next time we ll be at Bridge street.

We have gone for years and always request Burt as our server. He does a great job explaining any specials and has even steered us to trying new things (like the fried oysters). He gives us just the right amount of time between courses and is always so kind. We missed him when he left Ruth s Chris for a while and his surgery but glad he s back!

We went for our anniversary dinner, making the reservation online was easy. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was very nice, very attentive, and helped pick a great wine pairing with our meal. I ordered the lamb chops, my husband ordered the ribeye, everything was cooked perfectly. We got the sweet potato casserole and brussel sprouts to share. The portion sizes were plenty for the two of us. The prices were pretty steep, this is definitely a special occasion place. Our reservation was at 7:00 and the restaurant was full, by the time we were finished, the restaurant was pretty empty. I was surprised to see it clear out so early.

We came here for our Anniversary dinner. The place was nice and we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was kind and attentive and offered some good choices from the menu. The cocktails were amazing and were the pinnacle of dinner. They were so good they could go bar only and still do well. For dinner we knew ahead of time what we wanted and both chose the filet with blue cheese. For sides, my wife selected the garlic mashed potatoes and I chose the Lobster Mac and cheese. Unfortunately this is where things were not that great. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the meat was on par with Connors however the taste was not near as good as Connors. The sides were a disappointment.. The lobster Mac and cheese didn t have flavor, or rather tasted like Kraft Mac and cheese. Not that Kraft max is bad but you don t expect it when the meal is approaching 300$. If you want good Mac then got to Jalexanders. The lobster was tough and my guess was thrown on top of the Mac and baked with it. Garlic mashed potatoes were ok but both needed seasoning. There are better places in Huntsville for Steak and Mac and you can probably save 50% on your dinner. I was really looking forward to this place but the only thing impressive were drinks and service. Pros: Service is excellent. Drinks are top notch. Cons: Food Price

My husband and I were trying to celebrate our 5th anniversary. It was our first visit. The atmosphere was amazing and our server,Dani, was exceptional. However, my steak was to be medium well. The chef argued with our server when she tried to explain how my steak was to be. It came out medium RARE. Went back to the kitchen, only to come back 5 minutes later, still bleeding and charred around the edges. I told them I was done, to forget it. They brought it back to me 3 minutes later and it was a charred brick on a plate, with the chef making excuses. My husband couldnt eat, as he knew I was upset. So we spent a lot of money on a cocktail, bread and Brussel sprouts. A chef should know how to cook EVERYTHING on the menu before being called a chef.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Ruth Chris Steakhouse! Our lead server was Angel with Taya and Grace assisting. All 3 of them did an outstanding job for us. We were on our honeymoon and they really made us feel special. Wife ordered filet. I ordered the center cut pork chop with cinnamon apple glaze with creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin. Wow!!!! Delicious. Wife and I tend to sample each others plates. Fillet looked amazing. Nice cut and the sear was perfect. She ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. My pork chop was incredible. Super tender meat. The apple cinnamon glaze really works well with pork and the green apples were crisp and not over cooked. I tore into those quickly. Had I not been in a public restaurant I would have sucked the meat off the bone. They brought us a nice slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake for dessert. We took it to go but it was delicious. I really want to thank the incredible staff at Ruth Chris. From the moment we walked in the door we were taken care of. Bon appetit!

Pepper if my memory serves me correctly. 3. Had to get the attention of our server for drink refills. He was friendly though as was the rest of the staff.

Great quality and service expected of Ruth Chris and nothing less!

The food was great and the server was very good but my whole perception of this place changed when I walked into the men s bathroom to wash my hands and immediately seen all the gunk in the sink. Smelled clean but obviously wasn t.

We came in out of the pouring rain and worried we might be turned away because we were wet and wearing blue jeans. They treated us like we were dressed to the nines, and served us like we were celebrities. My husband always orders a steak, medium well and many chefs seemingly hate him for it and always insist they have to butterfly the filet. The steak came perfectly cooked without having to be butterflied. My lobster was excellent also. Demetria was our server. He was so pleasant, and an excellent conversationalist. This was such a great experience for weary travelers coming from a long day at the space Museum.

There are not enough words to describe the most wonderful night that we had at Ruths Chris Steakhouse! We celebrated my dad s 70th birthday with a surprise party! We rented the private room. It was spacious , beautifully decorated , and yet cozy. Caitlin Davis was my contact for the private celebration! She was wonderful in helping with every detail , before the party and during the party!!! I appreciated her expertise so much!! The food that was served buffet style was beyond delicious! Our guests commented on how wonderful the food was!! From beef kabobs, bq shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, chicken tenders , salmon, roasted vegetables and even more... every bite was delicious! We had the most wonderful and experienced servers! Burt and Harrison took care of our every need! They helped placed all the food in the buffet. They provided for all of our guests which included champagne toasts , coffee etc! When the party was over , they packed up all the left over food , bagged it and helped carry it all to our car! These guys are professionals! I cant say enough wonderful things about them! This felt like a 5 star restaurant! I highly recommend Ruths Chris restaurant!!! They helped us create the most memorable night! The food, the service, the atmosphere was exceptional!!! Many thanks to Ruths Chris restaurant and their amazing staff!! We will be back soon!!!

Neither the service or the food were quality! The waitress initially arrived at the table promptly, however it took 30 minutes to get drinks and then another 45 minutes to order and then contrary to the directive she brought the salads and entrees (together), leaving the others sitting, such is never acceptable. The food quality was well below average. Plus the service was so bad the waitress had the manager deliver the check with the auto tip circled in RED, I assume to educate me. Jeff McKinney

Service was top tier food was amazing

The best parts of the meal were the drinks. My stuffed chicken was great. My friend had the lamb chops and they were a bit too charred. Kinda thick which is why they probably have to cook so long. The spicy shrimp appetizer is very good. We ordered 1 but the server brought 2. We just kept it and paid for it because it was good. The mashed potatoes were kinda bland and dense. They remind me of badly made instant potatoes. Thats the only thing I would not order again. The bartender needs a raise. Those drinks were amazing.

We went for our Anniversary and the Food was AWFUL. Ive gotten better steaks at Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse. Way over priced for there food!!! It was a Friday night the resturant was empty just a few couples.

We visited Chris Ruth Huntsville for our anniversary. Customer service was outstanding. Atmosphere was okay. Only 4 tables being used and we were seated next to the kitchen, a constant in and out. Now food wise. We heard a lot about the good steaks. Its our anniversary so lets splurge. Wife got the 8oz petite filet it was delicious, tender, just right. I got the 16oz ribeye, seasoned good. The steak was so tough I had to saw through it. It was really tough. This steak didnt come close to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn. Our sides were as cold as the restaurant was inside. The creamy spinach was not creamy but it was runny and cold. The broccoli was cooked good but cold. Over all it was not worth the $212. I could get the same dinner from Texas Roadhouse for 1/2 that price and the steaks are 100% better. I guess maybe thats why there was only 4 tables being used.

This is my partners and I favorite place to come. We always sit at the bar and always have a great time with the people working the bar. Dani Btrudy was great last night and when she found out it was my birthday she gave me dessert on them and it was the best cheesecake. Food is always 10/10 and we have tried other steak house in town but nothing beats Ruth Chris and especially the one in Huntsville!

We go every year for our anniversary and the past 2 years we have had Burt and he is an absolute gem! He was so polite and friendly!

He made great off menu recommendations for my wife and she truly enjoyed her meal, waiter and atmosphere which made for a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Bea, and server, Tasha, were excellent and very attentive. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and the portion sizes were good for just the two of us, even had enough to take home. This was also my first time eating at Ruth Chris Steak House and it was a great experience. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Very nice dining experience. We had the crab cake appetizer. Filet Mignon, with shrimp for dinner. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The service was also superb. If you are looking for a great experience definitely go to Ruths Chris steakhouse!

Don took care of us exceptionally well. The ahi tuna appetizer has to be the best anywhere. The ribeye, perfectly prepared. The au gratin potatoes were the only thing that I would not order again. A little bland, a little soupy, and a lot of cheese. I know, au gratin, but the bland part was unexpected. I am sure, had we mentioned this, an alternate side would have been provided, so cant knock RC too hard for that. Had I been able to stop eating the ribeye a little sooner, I would have gone for the creme brulee. Ive had that before at RC and certainly one of their strong suits.

Spent around $300+ dollars eating here recently. The food was mediocre at best. It also felt like the servers were a little beat down and unable to really interact with guests besides the usual . may I take your order ? Not really sure if I had a choice or prime steak and I can usually tell the difference. Overall it was an ok experience but not something to write home about especially for the price.

We have been to a few different Ruth s Chris , and the food is what you would expect from the chain: good quality and delicious. With that being said, this establishment has one thing going for it: it may be the best steak house in Huntsville, though I am not sure that is saying much. I do not mean to knock on Huntsville, but if you are from a larger city and are accustomed to good quality food, few options meet the mark. Also, they have Wade. Wade may just be one of the best bartenders I have ever had. Disclaimer: I can count the number of times I drink a year on one hand. But that is what makes Wade great! His first question after I ordered my drink was how do you like your drinks, giving me examples. Now, I did mark 1 star off, and this is because the hostesses were on their cell phones from the moment we walked in until we sat and, to be honest probably after, too. I was honestly shocked by this as restaurants such as this usually have the utmost professionalism, starting with the maître d. It honestly just took away from the entire vibe; fortunately, between Wade and our servers, they made up for it!

Kid-friendliness: I saw several families with children Food

All I was looking forward to for a month was the lobster Mac and cheese, and I m not a big Mac and cheese person but I look forward to this once or twice a year! They Changed the recipe! I was so disappointed! So so so sad! We all were! Why would you change something so perfect?? The bread, calamari, wine, martinis and garlic mashed potatoes were great! We did not eat or pay for the Mac and cheese. It was like milk on the bottom, the noodles were undercooked, some mediocre slightly melted shredded cheese on top then lumps of dry over cooked lobster on top!

My husband & I come here every year for our anniversary! Always a great experience & tonight was no exception! We had the pleasure of Sierra serving us tonight. She took great care of us! She even made us a tasty, beautiful sundae for dessert to finish our anniversary supper. 10/10 recommend Ruths Chris & Sierra!

Harrison was an awesome waiter. He knew everything on the menu, and the food came out exactly as he said highly recommend the restaurant, and this particular waiter. Also, I must admit that the manager of the restaurant was also very courteous.

There was hair in my potatoes. They were out of chicken, mashed potatoes, and other things. The service was terrible and unacceptable for this atmosphere and price!!!!!

Very nice restaurant, the service was impeccable. Tahj is a great waiter. Food, however, was average at best - definitely not as expected for any of our party of 4.

The porterhouse for two was like silk sheets to my mouth. Omg, unbelievably excellent, it was more like a fantasy that couldnt have gotten more true! Excellent service, attitude and attention, even close to closing.

Took my spouse for her birthday and shes happy. Went steak and chicken and shared it family style so we could get a taste of both. Recommendations for future dinners: Of course your favorite cut of steak but then Id recommend trying the chicken its unique lobster Mac is very decadent The chocolate mousse cheesecake at Huntsville location was the best cheesecake Ive ever eaten and that is saying something. Spend the money and go here. Especially for a special occasion because the dinner service is only matched by Manhattan steakhouses. If your on a budget for two: Lobster Mac as a main course and Then the stuffed chicken with a salad. Then finish with a cheesecake (its big enough for two. I did not order a salad but the salads I saw created a feeling of envy when I saw them I hope this review helps those planning a special night out whether your on a budget or not. Most reviews focus on the steak and Ruths Chris excels at everything.
