Tom Brown's Restaurant - Huntsville in Huntsville

Recent family dinner at TB s Huntsville. Atmosphere top notch, cocktails also top notch. Maybe unpopular opinion, but the steaks were not phenomenal. I ordered melted blue cheese on top of my steak, but it was a really thick layer of creamed blue cheese, definitely not melted or warm! My husband has the Mahi-Mahi special and the fish was dry and the baked potato was hard/undercooked. Our kids all enjoyed their meals, but my teenager didn t realize his Waygu was way over cooked. Honestly, just over all disappointed in the execution of the dishes and for a $500 dinner I had higher expectations. I ve paid a lot less for higher quality meal. Maybe it was an off night, but not impressed.

We took our parents here for dinner and the food was amazing. It was our first time at either location, and it was great. I thought they were under staffed for the tables. It took time before we got refills or checked on in between waiting for our food to come out. Our waitress was exceptional when she wasnt going between her other tables bringing food and drinks. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time at TBs. We live in the area and figured wed spend some money on our anniversary. We ordered the Sampler and added fried shrimp. The sampler comes with 2 steak, bison and vegetable kebobs and a loaded baked potato. We were also presented with fresh rolls. The steak was perfect. Cooked exactly correct and seasoned well. However nothing else appeared to be seasoned at all. The yeast rolls were hands down the most bland pieces of bread Ive ever had at a restaurant. I love bread and usually with enough butter I can eat anything, but not these rolls. Im not saying they tasted bad, they didnt have a taste. Even my wife couldnt finish hers. The fried shrimp was also bland and overcooked. Salt and melted butter didnt help it either. We didnt even bother to take the leftovers home. The loaded baked potato was barely loaded and again, not seasoned well if at all. Price for one entree, with added shrimp, several beers and two cocktails was just over $110. To be honest while the steak prices might make your eyes pop out of your head, for what you get Id say the prices are slightly above reasonable. Ruths Chris is unreasonable, Tom Browns is less than that. The service was great. The food came out quickly and our server was affable. I think the menu is ambitious for this area - North Alabama / South Huntsville - but I respect that. Based on my first time, tho, I dont think I would go back to Tom Browns on my own. I would if someone invited me and were buying. [edited to add] There was no wait when we got there. I was asked for my phone number and I asked why. The nice hostess said, In case you leave something behind. I didnt want to be mean, so I gave her my number and then she asked for my name. To me, theres 100% no reason to take a name and phone number, particularly if theres no wait. Im thinking now this probably set the tone for our visit. I find this sketchy at best.

Elegant atmosphere, excellent service , and food was fresh, high quality , and met all expectations. Great cocktails as well

Have been several times; everything has always been excellent

They sat me and my family by the kitchen and we were one of the very very few customers in the restaurant. They initially tried to give us a table at the very 1st table by the front door. (The actual door opens and touches the chair). The owner came out of the kitchen and ask how were we doing(being that we were right by the kitchen and the display cakes and the restroom), I explained we were not happy with our seating and would like a better place being that we just got married and wanted to celebrate with my son and grandson who drove from Camp Lejune. He said congratulations for being able to come and get this dinning experience and the other area was unavailable. I wanted to leave but I didnt want to upset my people because they had ordered. In addition, although we were sitting next to the desert display we were never offered any desert until my wife politely brought it to the waiters attention while we were paying they $300 bill. I do not recommend Blacks or Black Veterans to support this establishment. As a Veteran and African American to be seated by the kitchen and bathroom was degrading as hell especially when there so many other places to be seated. It felt like we were Freedom Riders in Anniston in 1964/65. DO NOT GO.

Service was excellent. We had a great time and enjoyed our dishes. Will definitely be back again to try something different.

Hannah was our server and Tom personally cooked our 5 star Ribeye. The frog legs and chargrilled oysters were stellar. First time here and now will be regulars. 5 star all the way from the drinks to food to service. Thanks Hannah for a great night out and taking care of our service dog.

Everything about this place was fantastic! The food lived up to its reputation, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was great! I recommend the Old Fashioned!

Had the ribeye, it was excellent. Wife had chicken and it was excellent. Excellent food. Its expensive but excellent.

We made reservations for my birthday dinner out, and my spouse had the collard greens, Yukon gold potatoes, pork belly & the ChessaBerry / butter cake for dessert, all which was delicious. I had the filet (cooked perfectly) and garlic mashed potatoes and strawberry cake/cheesecake for dessert. It all tasted amazing. Highly recommend!

Save your money or go to Char or Purveyor. The service at those restaurants is 100 times better than what we received here for my sisters wedding anniversary. To start the drinks are not correctly priced on the menu and the manager tried to argue over correcting even that on our bills. I ordered a double spiced rum and diet, which isnt on the menu, and was charged $32 for that ONE drink. Sis got a cocktail off the menu and added a second shot of Woodford and that was only $24. Make that make sense. Brother in law ordered an espresso martini and this thing came out looking like a slightly tan colored milk in a 3 oz martini glass. He said it didnt look right and an espresso martini should be dark brown and transparent. It never touched the table. Server said hed take care of it. It was not removed from the tab and the manager refused to do so as well, even after the server said hed take care of it. If hed known hed be charged anyway, hed have drank it rather than just sending it back. We ordered the bottle of wine on the specials menu and it was marked as $35/bottle and was $44 on the check. There is also an alcohol tax that weve never seen at Char or Purveyor. The server had to be asked for things multiple times before hed provide info or bring things to the table. He was nice but he very obviously didnt have the experience to be employed at a fine dining establishment. Most of the food was good but some of the dishes did not match the descriptions on the menu. Sister ordered steak tips with an add-on of sauteed onions. The steak tips were served on a skewer and the onions were served on a separate plate and were mostly raw with hardly a grill mark, let alone sauteed. She sent the onions back but enjoyed the steak tips and asked for the onions to be removed from her bill, as they were not indeed sauteed onions. I mean they were basically RAW onions. These were also not removed from the bill. The lamb shank was tasty but over cooked by a good bit. We did not complain about that but its worth noting. The elk that the guys ordered was excellent actually. The food wasnt bad and if the food issues were the only ones wed had, wed give it another go. The server was nice but not knowledgeable or informative, even when asked leading questions. The manager, when the server informed him that we had issues with the alcohol that was either not supposed to be on the bill or priced incorrectly, as well as the raw/not sauteed onions was very unprofessional and outright RUDE. Apparently, they dont remove anything from the tab, even if they messed it up, as policy. Ive been told by sister and brother law that the location in Madison is indeed a fine dining establishment and the service and quality of food and drinks holds more to the standards we have for a restaurant at this price point. Save your money, or spend it elsewhere. Vegetarian options: The one vegetarian option was a baked potato smothered in veggies. Dietary restrictions: Stuffed baked potato was the only side option without a $9 upcharge, so if youre diabetic budget for it.

Save your money. The service at this place, for what we paid, is subpar at best. The drinks are not priced correctly, I had issues with my food that were not taken care of because even if they mess up the food, they dont take it off the bill. We ordered two other items that never touched the table that were also not taken off the bill. The descriptions of the food dont match what comes out. They referred to extras as toppings that were served on a separate plate, that werent even cooked. Still didnt take that off the bill. The manager argued with my husband and pretty much told him all of this was our problem, not his, and he wasnt doing anything to make it better. We were left with no choice but to pay for things we never even received or ate. How is that good business?

Have visited this new location twice and the Madison location once. The service and food at the South Parkway restaurant has been excellent. Nice touch that they open on Sundays for special occasions such as Valentines. Purveyors used to be my fav upscale restaurant in Huntsville but in terms of food, service (by a large margin), and value, Tom Browns is better. I ve had better single entrees at maybe Cotton Row but overall Tom Browns will be our splurge restaurant for now.

We dined at the Huntsville location (this is a new location and not sure how long they have been open). The atmosphere was fun, and our server was friendly and attentive. We very much enjoyed our appetizer (raw oysters) and desert (chocolate lava cake). We werent as impressed with the salad and main course. Although I will say, both my husband and I ordered items we had never eaten before (barramundi fish and flat iron wagyu steak). The fish arrived as described. It was just not as flavorful as I had hoped for; the steak was not a cut my husband typically orders, and it did not have as much fat/flavor as he prefers. We would dine there again to see if we would enjoy other food options more.

The Decor was Awesome, Fabulous Service, DELICIOUS FOOD AND COCKTAILS, The Bathrooms were Nice and Clean!!

One of our favorite date night places. We celebrated our anniversary here on the 15th. We waiting just over 10 minutes for our reservation and table. The hostess explained they were a few minutes behind due to an extremely busy night. She was beyond sweet, really nice and even apologized for the wait. (It wasnt a long wait and well worth it). Once we got to the table our waitress Ella was an absolute rockstar, she answered all of our questions and even remembered us from the time before. We started with crabcakes and some soup (both beyond amazing) my wife ordered a cocktail that was perfect in her words. Then our main course she got some fish that was just perfect, the steak I ordered didnt need any kind of sauce. The night was perfect. Even got to meet the owner, the guy is really friendly and runs an amazing restaurant with an even better staff. PS. Hoping for the best for Ellas mom.

Mediocre at best. My fish was so overly seasoned which proved that it was most likely going bad. The special of today, go figure.

Excellent experience! From the moment you walk in the door it gives a very chic, retro vibe. The food was so delicious & our server Joane M. was great. All of Joanes suggestings were awesome.

The Food is by far average and way over priced my salad less then a 8 oz serving $10 and my steak was tasteless and cooked rare asked for medium rare shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. This was not my first time eating there as I gave it a second chance and will never dine there again. On a good note the beer was good and the was good that s all I can say for the second experience

This is the second time my wife and I have eaten at this restaurant location. I cant say enough about the service as the waitperson was attentive and very polite. We had fried mushrooms as an appetizer, and they were great. The main course was fantastic with 1 exception. We got the side of 6 shrimp and had 2 issues: the shrimp was tough to peel (the shell seemed to be further over the meat than is normally expected) and the cocktail sauce was thick and rather clumpy. One had to basically use a fork/spoon to place some on the shrimp else there was no sauce after dipping. We would probably come here more if it werent for the price which is pretty steep. Parking: Probably need more handicapped parking. Only 2 right in front of the restaurant. Then 2 more a few rows over. Not bad but I would hate to have gone at a really busy time.

Very slow to get our table (15 mins after reservation time); slow to get drinks and dinner. Steaks severely undercooked. Won t be going back

This was easily the best food Ive eaten in town, and Ive been to all of the high end restaurants. Most amazing lamb, best looking surf and turf, and most superb desserts.

I was looking for a new restaurant to take my husband on a date night and came across TBR. Everything was amazing. Deidra was an amazing server! She made our night. I definitely can not wait to visit again. Absolutely loves everything about this restaurant

The Service was exceptional. Our waiter was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, and kind. The drinks & meal were out quickly and, for what they were, perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was fine. Very clean, just a little strange with the decor. Food quality was okay, but certainly not for the price. Sides were simple, very expensive for being so small & basic. The structure of the menu leads one to believe the sides are family style, IE for sharing, but in reality they re only priced that way. The steak was cooked perfectly, but nothing special. The lamb was bland and overcooked. Service 10/10, Food 6.5/10, atmosphere 5/10. I did find a few choices in their dishes off-putting. For example: their raw oysters come out on a bed of room temperature salt, not ice. TL;DR: expensive & bland. The wait staff is the only thing I d recommend here; we won t be back.

Came here for a date night and was extremely impressed. Our server was pleasant but didnt hover. I got the redfish and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was well seasoned. Th atmosphere was chill and fun. I highly recommend coming here and we will definitely be back.

It was my first time trying escargot and enjoyed it. The bartender suggested a good wine to pair it with. The alligator bites were a little small compared to what Im use to, but still good all in all.

Had tenderloin tips and the collards. Beef was cooked perfectly. Collards are different because they are creamed but absolutely wonderful! Carrot cake is awesome too!

Awful from the second we walked in. I m handicapped, have trouble walking. I was dropped at door with 3 others while the driver parked. Hostess said our table was ready but couldn t seat us until our entire party was there. The foyer seating is very low and I d have never gotten up. Hostess said over and over sorry it s our policy I don t make the rules. One of our party had been over the holiday and received an envelope from the waiter. Bring it back for a nice discount but DONT OPEN IT. Gave the envelope to waitress who said she couldn t accept it it was only for January. Even said others had had the same issues. If we d had opened it, we d have seen that but was told not to. Ordered 3 appetizers for our party of 5. The fried green tomatoes were ok but a hair was on the plate. It just kept going downhill from there. Our waitress was replaced by another because we were too stressful for her. Really. They should ve accepted our free appetizer card. We had to ask for water refills twice. Appetizer plates were not removed from our table. Our meals arrived and our waitress never came to check on us afterwards. Some of our food was lukewarm. No manager ever came. When we left, after paying over $350 for 5 of us, the two hostesses were too busy gossiping to say thanks, come back or be safe going home. A high end restaurant serving $70 steaks should have service to match. Empty tables at 7pm on a Saturday night is a sign and not a good one. I ll never get the $350 or that 2 hours back. Awful experience.

Our waiter for the evening was Mike Jordan. He was amazing ! Absolutely the best service ever! We went for my boyfriends birthday dinner. I got the Elk tenderloin and he got the tomahawk steak. Both were really good and cooked perfectly. The golden margarita was also very delicious. This is definitely a visit again for us. Thank you so so much for the wonderful evening with spectacular service and food!

This evening, I had a very unsettling experience at Tom Browns, and I can confidently say I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone based on tonights experience. My party and I arrived at the restaurant within the grace period. The hostess informed us she would prepare the table for us since one needed to be ready. While waiting, we took pictures in the lobby (No guests or employees were disrupted or pictured). Moments later, the owner, Tom Brown, arrived in the lobby to tell us that we needed to be seated because their kitchen was closing soon. In a tone that lacked respect, he also informed us that we were not to take photos anywhere else other than the lobby or of other guests or employees, which was fine because we had no desire to do so anyway. He acted as if we were wasting time in the lobby and refusing to be seated. We tried to inform him that the hostess was preparing the table and that we were not interested in taking pictures outside the lobby. He stated, Im not going to argue with you all. None of our party had raised their voices or were trying to argue. We were communicating why we had not been seated and acknowledging that we were not going to take photos in the dining area or restroom. We were then presented with the option of sitting down and eating or leave. After the engagement with the owner, we decided to go somewhere else to eat. However, I decided to go back in and see if I could obtain a business card to call on Monday or Tuesday to discuss the customer interaction and respect because we were not respected that evening. I was told no to the business card, and the owner did not care that he had been disrespectful and unprofessional because it was his restaurant. I prefer to support local businesses over franchises, and it saddens me to know that this is a local business I will not be able to support. This situation could have been resolved if the owner had cared to speak respectfully or even have a conversation following the first interaction. I also wish I would have read the reviews on the owners interactions first I would have never visited to begin with.

We didn t even get to eat. TOM HIMSELF came out and was rude, passive aggressive, and racist. I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to ANYONE. ESPECIALLY not anyone of color. A group of professionals with a multitude of degrees came in, we were profiled and while WAITING on a table to be set up, (per the hostess) he told us no back and forth from the cars no pictures if we re there to eat we need to sit down and do so. (the last to arrive but still within the 15 minute grace period left something in her car that was it.) After so many demeaning comments, we decided to leave. We stood outside trying to figure out where we were going to have dinner, and with an open restaurant HE LOCKED US OUT. We were no where near the restaurant entrance.

This was our second time eating at Tom Browns. My wife and I had reservations at 5:00 pm and we arrived at 4:50 and were seated promptly. Our waitress , Ella was prompt and professional. For starters we had the oysters Rockefeller and they were cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor and they tasted fresh, no fishy taste. For dinner I had the rib eye and my wife had the scallops. Both were delicious. Desert was creme brulee and red velvet cake, both were scrumptious. Overall a great experience. We will definitely return !

Dinner was tasty but would have been better if it was hot. Appetizer was hot and delicious but went down hill from there. There were 4 of us at dinner and each one had an almost warm meal. I never usually complain but that was upscale prices for not an upscale meal. The lady who took our plates asked how it was and we said it would have been better had it been hot. Her response was Im so sorry.

Went to TB s for Valentines Dinner and, as usual, it was fantastic! The steaks are always impeccable and the seafood is absolutely heavenly!! My mother always loves her steaks butterflied and burnt and TB s has never gotten it wrong!! It is so lovely to be able to eat our meal all together, as a family, instead of having to send hers back time and again! I cannot say enough good things about TB s and the service, quality and amazing atmosphere! Our servers, Tab, Hannah and Mike are top notch and we love to see them every few weeks! The team at TB Huntsville are top of the mark! Thank you for another lovely special dinner experience!!

My husband and I are new to the area and everyone we work with recommended Tom Browns, so we gave it a shot. The Madison location was booked when we tried to reserve on Tuesday, so we booked Huntsville. I was a little weary because I noticed Madison had 700+ more reviews (Google) and they looked to be better recommendations. We left rather disappointed, to say the least. We started with the fried mushrooms, and they were greasy and had no flavor. My husband got the Taste of Toms, and I got the JD tenderloin tips off the featured menu. His was almost well done, and mine was more on the rare side. My shrimp were tough as could be, but my love potion cocktail was pretty good. We may try the Madison location at some point, but will not be back to this location.

Found this place browsing on Google looking for a place to eat for the holidays. Oh, my god. This place is amazing! The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and it s gorgeous inside. I will definitely be going back!

Everything was delicious, just be prepared to spend $100 per person. Well worth it.

My son wanted to have his birthday dinner here so he and his girlfriend, my daughter and I went tonight. We were seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and for the most part did a good job although she did disappear for extended periods. We ordered appetizers of fried green tomatoes and crab cakes. The tomatoes were yummy and the crab cakes were delicious. My daughter ordered the fillet. My son ordered red snapper and scallops. His girlfriend ordered a ribeye and I ordered barramundi. My fish was very good but way overpriced. My sons girlfriends steak was slightly overdone but she didnt complain about it. My daughter ordered her steak medium and it was still mooing when it got to the table. When my sons fish came out we couldnt even tell what it was. I have never seen any fish that looked like that. He tried it and it was extremely tough and just inedible. The scallops were delicious. The manager (Lanie, I believe was her name) was called to our table and assured my son it was red snapper but did agree to bring him something else so he got more scallops. She tried to argue about my daughters steak but sent it back to cook more instead of just replacing it. When it came back the outside was completely charred and the inside was just as rare as when it left. The manager was called again. She started arguing with us again, trying to say their steaks were redder than other restaurants and they only went by the temperature. Not sure what part of the steak they were checking but the insides were completely cold. We had this back and forth for an extended period. By this time my sons girlfriend and I had fished eating and my son was close to being done so my daughter really didnt want to order something else. The manager finally agreed to take it off the bill. She was quite rude and just kept arguing while saying she wasnt arguing. The side dishes were fine. My son never complains when he goes out to a restaurant and things arent quite as they should be, but this was ridiculous. You dont treat your customers like this if you want them to come back. This place is way overpriced for the service and hit and miss quality of food. Our server knew it was his birthday and did bring him a slice of cheesecake on the house and it was very good. I wish I had photos of everything but do not. We will definitely not go back. Our bill was a little over $275 after taking off the $45.00 for the steak. For this amount of money I expect impeccable service and everything cooked perfectly.

We had a horrible experience at Tom Browns in Madison with Tom Brown himself; such a rude and miserable person. But we went to the one in South Huntsville and Michael, our waiter was Wonderful!!!! Michael saved the day. I was so glad after I was bragging to my boyfriend about how good it always is I was redeemed thanks to Michael and the great wait staff at the South Huntsville location. But Mr.Tom Brown, the person, SUCKS!

We ordered the nights special ribeye, beef tenderloin and bison skewers. And the ribeye steak. We had the alligator bites and the scallops as an add on to the main dish. The food was delicious. Our waiter Justin was great, he was friendly and informative about the dishes. He made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We will definitely dine here again

Just saw the owner s TikTok going off about a customer who asked for no bacon even though it was VERY OBVIOUS yall just picked the bacon off. For as much as yall charge for mediocre food, you could ve made a completely new potato to accommodate who I m assuming was a non-meat eater. Instead of apologizing and owning up to the mistake, you went on a public rant trying to shame this paying customer but outed yourself as a terrible and unprofessional business owner. I will not be a returning to this restaurant now. Also the last time I was there, I sat in the seating area near the bar and you guys were playing 3 Doors Down and Nirvana music videos. I paid $200 at your restaurant and that s what yall had blaring on the speakers?! CLASSY!

So last night I went to Tom Brown s new restaurant location on south parkway. First off, the vibe is refreshing quirkalicious, funky, with a splash of bohemian luxury. The bar is long with the Star of the show Justin Parr the bartender formerly from Ruth Chris. The man knows how to make a drink !!! The food choices are filled with options like frog legs and may I say, SUPER GREAT!!! Then the Bison fillet is outstanding!! The escargot fantastic!!! Salmon was delicious!! Oh Oh Oh!!! They make the best and I mean best collard greens in town hands down!! Unless yo mama can make them.. she always wins. You will enjoy the atmosphere and your eyes will roam around the room looking at all funkdified art. Casual to dressy, You ll want to dress up fun for your first visit. The staff seemed to have it all together for the soft opening. You will enjoy the menu and it s offerings. It has a really funny area which cracked me up I think it s titled Just Pick Something Out. Pretty interesting picks on that section . You will certainly enjoy your evening So here s what we had for dinner. Oh, we ate it all.

Excellent soft open! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The soft opening of the new Tom Brown s restaurant in south HSV really hit the mark last night. The staff was very friendly and well-trained. The steak and seafood were excellent! The service was 2nd to none. The bar was fantastic. Kudos to Justin and Kathryn for being so attentive and making perfect drinks, every time. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family and plan to be back as soon as it opens to public.

Service was excellent, food was good, dessert was best. The hostess at the front was very receptive. Very kind treated my mother with respect as well as my family. The server was also tremendous, catered to our every need. All the drinks were refilled all the time. She was spectacular. The king salmon was the best dish that we have. There was cooked well. Great flavor. Obviously a fresh piece of meat. The fillet was also pretty decent. The ribeye was a bit tough for medium. The waygu honestly I could have done without, but for the most part was prepared very well. The start of the meal with appetizers. Highly recommend the shrimp. The alligator is a novelty and honestly the bites are too small for the batter ratio. The horseradish mayonnaise or wasabi mayonnaise as they call it was excellent. The pork belly was a little dry but overall pretty decent. The star of the show by far was the carrot cake at the end. Extremely moist. Perfect balance of spice nut carrot and cream cheese frosting. If you can at least go to the bar and have dessert with them. Overall experience is very acceptable price to value ratio. I think its on the high side. Personally, I could compare this to char, the presidio and other locations in Huntsville that you would probably get a better value for money.

Opening Day in South Huntsville and Tom Browns did NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in, its as if you are whisked away to somewhere else! The restaurant is festive, creative and unique. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter within 2 minutes. He was very friendly, timely and knew the menu very well. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was seasoned and prepared beautifully. My husband had the Bacon-wrapped Bison Filet and it was so tender and very well seasoned. Our daughter had the Beef Filet and it was equally tender and delicious. We all enjoyed the loaded baked potatoes and the mashed sweet potatoes. We finished off the evening by sharing the Molten Lava Cake.... Warm and yummy! The experience really exceeded our expectations and we will be back... Thank you Tom!

We were able to go to the soft opening event. Between the four people at our table, we ordered elk, bison, filet, and ribeye and sampled an assortment of sides, appetizers, and desserts. Everything was phenomenal. My favorites were, of course, the mains, but I also enjoyed the crab claw app, the brussels sprouts, and the chessaberry dessert.

Tom Browns is a welcome addition to the South Huntsville food and bar scene. We have been twice since opening, and they have been the most accommodating restaurant in town that we have experienced. During the most recent visit Tom himself, heard we were looking for spots at the bar, walked over and made it happen, no questions asked and zero issues. Justin and Kathryn are phenomenal mixologist/bartenders, and make the most incredible libations to sip on whilst you eat the decadent, superbly made eats from the kitchen. We will be back, over and over again. Thank you for your food, cocktails, and exceptional service Tom Browns!

The food was okay but overpriced for the taste. The taste was subpar at best. The actual restaurant is very new so the atmosphere and cleanliness were also okay. Those are the positive things I can actually point out. on to the negative. The owners are trash! I would not support this restaurant again and wouldn t suggest anyone else support either. How do I know who the owners are? I felt very uncomfortable in the restaurant and while using the restroom I encountered an individual who gave nasty stares as I walked by and I heard him speaking ill of his staff!! The behavior was so ridiculous.. I returned and asked my server if I could report an issue and was told that I was speaking of the owner and out of fear it was nothing else she could do because apparently they are firing staff for no reason with no remorse due to opening week ending. Save time and just visit another restaurant..one maybe more established so the professionalism and the food will satisfy you

4 stars because the prices are really high (expect to pay $30-60 for an entree) otherwise, this was a good experience and will be nice for special occasions. The waitress seemed a bit nervous and hurried (I assume she s still settling into her new job) The portion sizes were generous and everyone enjoyed their meal. I really liked the clam appetizer and seared redfish. My husband enjoyed the Elk steak.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. The owners are very unprofessional and think they re better than their customers and employees. I heard their owner(Mr. Brown) talking very disrespectfully and downgrading a server while I was trying to enjoy my overpriced meal and drink with my family. Their employees deserve better and they shouldn t have opened up another location due to the toxic ownership and atmosphere. I overheard him firing a couple of his employees(one who was Hispanic and one who was African American) and said this isn t a Mexican restaurant . Very unprofessional for someone who is trying to build and promote their restaurant and their brand. Very disgusted. The owners don t deserve any hard working, dedicated, and motivated employees. If they want to run a professional business, they need to get up and run it themselves instead of just sitting on their butt watching all of their employees work hard to make the money that the company is probably barely even pays them. Will NEVER go back or recommend anybody to go to this place.

We had the pleasure of enjoying TBs Huntsvilles newest location recently and were beyond impressed with the service and our meals. The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender! The crab claws were to die for and our cocktails were out of this world! We look forward to our next experience at TB Huntsville! Their menu variety is top notch. 10/10.

We ve eaten at the Madison location several times & had the privilege to eat at the new Huntsville location on opening night. We love Tom Brown s because it can be a nice date night, fancy anniversary dinner, night out with friends, drinks after work, family dinner, it s perfect for everyone! We even had our company Christmas party at the Madison location last year. They are amazing. I have dined a few times at their Madison location and always had a great experience and so of course I had to give the new Huntsville location a shot and I was so impressed! First of all, the food, gotta talk about the food, its why we all go right? Our table started with the fried green tomatoes and as a lover of real southern cooking, these did not disappoint. Seasoned exquisitely and tomatoes that had just the right texture to balance the experience. Out of suggestion it was mentioned I had to try the Bison filet so I gave it a shot. Wow. Supremely tender, bacon wrapped heaven. If it wasnt for all the entrees I have to try eventually, I would make this the entree I had every visit. Finished it off with a fave, creme brulee. Wonderful snap of the sugar crust leads to a sultry custard. One of the best versions o have had of one of my go to desserts. Atmosphere was perfect. Decor was upscale and with the art that adorns the walls also artistically quirky on the most fun way. As a side note but not of any lesser note the smoked old fashioned is a prize winner and a visual treat. Staff was very friendly and informative. They knew their stuff for sure. Overall another excellent visit to a restaurant that never lets me down and the new edition to south side of Huntsville is a welcome treasure. Make sure you try this one out for sure. You wont be disappointed.

We had visited the original location before, but it was difficult for us to frequent Madison, so we were thrilled Tom Brown opened in South Huntsville! Now we can more frequently enjoy one of Huntsville s best locally-owned restaurants! The decor is eclectic, modern, classy and jovial! The seating was comfy and our server was a delight. A good selection of liquor, cocktails and wine. The sea bass was so flavorful and everyone at our table loved every bite of their food. The owners, Tom and Ashley, both made a point to visit and thank us for coming. It is obvious they pour their heart and souls into the business and care about the customer experience. Pricing is on point for service and quality. This is absolutely a place to treat yourself! Highly recommend.

10/10. Servers went out of their way to move us to a different table on a crowded night to seat us with friends we spotted. The drinks were great and we tried most of them!! Steaks were cooked perfectly (including the elk, and Im hard to impress with wild game since I consider myself a bit of a venison expert). Even little things like the atmosphere in the bathroom was so cool that my wife is trying to convince me we need to remodel ours to match! Great atmosphere, great staff, great food, great drinks. Let me first start by saying that I love coming to this restaurant more and more each time I go. I eat here on multiple occasions. The ambiance is so beautiful and unique. I love how the restaurant is decorated. It shows how much time they invested into make it a true dining experience. The food is always impeccable! 10/10. I m a person who eats their steak well done. I can not go into another restaurant in Huntsville and a well done steak is tender as it is here!!! They have the best steak in Huntsville!!! Literally, melted in my mouth. I had crab cakes, a ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, and dessert. I was impressed with the whole meal. The owners are also amazing!!! They care about their staff and customers. I ve personally seen them take on the responsibility of being a waiter/waitress and cooking in the kitchen! Their customer service is top tier! You can come to celebrate any special occasion or for dinner on a regular day and you ll always receive the same amazing customer service. I also own a Huntsville business who works with them every year. They re amazing people to work with and I love their light hearted spirit. Keep up the good work!! If I could give ten stars I would.

So happy to have a Tom Browns Restaurant in Huntsville now :). I dont mind the drive to Madison, but, Im more likely to indulge regularly now that theres a Huntsville location. We dined there the week they opened and were pleased with the food (filet mignon and baked potato), drinks (lavender lemon drop and blood orange martini), and service. Havent tried the seafood there yet, but next time we go, I plan to have the lobster tails. Great spot for a date night or a girls night out! The vibe of this place is fun and cheeky. Our server was the sweetest!

From the moment you walk through the doors to this establishment, you are met with luxurious seating, funky decor, and top notch service. I was blown away by the attention to detail, even down to the decor in the bathrooms- which have such a great, unexpected vibe. In addition to the high quality of food, my husband was blown away by the generous serving sizes. I am so happy Tom and Ashley opened a Huntsville location! I was a server at their Madison location and all I can say is Tom and Ashley are truly great people and have always treated staff like family. I love Seafood, so anytime I stop at their restaurant to say hi, I always order either their Escargot, Mussels, Clams, or Oysters to start off my meal. Yum!! We were able to visit Tom Brown s for an early dinner and man I was absolutely amazed at this place. The ambiance, the positivity, and THE FOOD were all phenomenal. The hostess was attentive and friendly. Our server was on top of things and was such a delight. He got our orders in quick and checked up on us. I know that it was super stressful, so seeing him come to our table with a smile on his face and being patient with us was quite impressionable. Tom Brown himself paid a visit to our table and asked how everything was. He was so kind! He went to each table throughout the night to check on everyone and I noticed that. I am so excited for TB to become THE spot in south Huntsville. We have been missing the mark on finer dining and TB is here to claim that position! Tom Browns has done it again, omg. The food, service, and the atmosphere. The BATHROOM in this place. Every single detail was carefully curated. It is perfect. Cannot wait to come back forever!

We really were excited to go to Tom Browns for our anniversary. The GOOD: 1. Our waitress, Dakota, was really nice. 2. The cocktail was large and flavorful. 3. My ribeye was good and cooked just right. 4. The blueberry cheese cake was excellent, but want really the consistency of a cheese cake. The butter cake as also good. The BAD: 1. My husband said his steak was really fatty. It wasn t until we got home and I gave the doggy what was boxed up, that I realized his entire steak was fat. I took a picture, but I m not sure I can attach it. He should have sent it back, but honestly, the chef should have never served it, and when the waitresses boxed it, she should have noticed how fatty it was - especially since we told her it was very fatty. 2. The Brussel sprouts were way over cooked. I typically order Brussels where ever we are eating - in town and out of town, and honestly, these were the worst brissels I have had at a restaurant. 3. The bread was just ok. 4. We were told they did not put sour cream on their potatoes- really?? 5. They charged for a refill on the tiny cup of coffee! For a $200+ meal, I was very underwhelmed. My wife have been waiting for Tom Brown s to open in South Huntsville for quite some time. We dined at the restaurant on Tuesday, July 11. We were anticipating a great meal, like our previous experience(s) at Tom Brown s Madison. What a disappointment. The food was just average: 1. We had to return our crab claw appetizer. The claws were overcooked/dried out. 2. The rolls were hard as if they had been sitting around for a while. 3. Our main meals were not fresh. It was like they had not been served immediately after preparation. The different courses were served over each other. I was still eating my French onion soup and my wife was eating her salad when the main meals were served. The restaurant needs to get the timing for serving the different courses down so that the diner can enjoy each course. Our server worked very hard to provide excellent service even though it was obvious she was still learning the job. The desert, Tom Brown s special fruit cake with ice cream, was great. In fact, it was the best part of the meal. Tom Brown s needs to improve the food quality and service to justify the prices they are charging for a meal.

The food was fantastic. Steak cooked perfectly, and the rolls! We had to order more to take home to our kids. The service was great, as expected because I ve heard about their training program. I think where this new location really nails it is the combination of food and ambiance. The decor, music and entire vibe paired with really good food gave me a hip, fun big city feel but without pretense.

This was my first time going and I will say the food is really meh compared to other steakhouses around town. I m not sure if they just forgot to add salt to my ribeye but it was completely flavorless. However, the drinks and the atmosphere was amazing.

Very ,very expensive place to dine on seafood out of a frozen food box and $15.00 drinks. All food at our table was at best mediocre.

Awesome for a special occasion or date night! We went early on a Wednesday for dinner. We were greeted as we walked in and walked to our table. The dining room is very eclectic with the decorating. It was certainly interesting! Our waiter was friendly, attentive without being intrusive, answered all of our questions, and provided great recommendations. I got the seafood bisque as an appetizer. Rich, creamy, and wonderful. My wife got the French onion soup. Great bread and lots of cheese! The steak was phenomenal. I got the cheapest cut on their menu - the ribeye. Cooked exactly to medium, great marbling, and a nice crust on it. It was perfect; ate every bite. My wife s filet was just as good, if a bit more expensive. Her sweet potato mash was unbelievably light & fluffy. We were pretty full by the time we finished the main course, so we got a simple crème brûlée and split it. Very rich with just the right amount of vanilla and sweetness. While not the cheapest place for steak, I wouldn t hesitate going back for another special occasion. Hopefully (maybe) they ll do a cheaper lunch menu in the future! Kid-friendliness: While I wouldn t call it exactly appropriate for kids, they do have a cute kids menu.

What an absolute poopshow this was. I booked a reservation for last night at 6:45 through OpenTable. At 7, no table (asked for status). At 715, no table (asked for status). At 730 no table. After 50 minutes all the front desk would tell us was that we are waiting to pull two tables together....we arent sure yet. This was for a party of 5. The place was packed and we watched at least 10 groups of four be seated. I repeat that I had a confirmed reservation. We walked out and called Nicks Restaurant. The giraffe in the entryway was cool though....spent a lot of time with it.

Decided to try their new location at Hays Farm. So glad we did. As always the food and service was on point. We decided to sit and eat at the bar and what a fabulous experience. Our bartender Justin was attentive, knowledgeable, and very creative. The service we received from him exceptional. If you haven t tried the new location. I highly recommend it. Decor is so eclectic and inviting. We will be back again and again I assure you.

Overall, it was a pretty good meal. I started with the escargot, and while they were a bit small, Im happy to say that it was the best escargot Ive ever had, absolutely phenomenal. They served bread with the meal, and the bread was good, but I was expecting more than just two small dinner rolls. Before our entrees arrived, a different worker came out and said that our baked potatoes would be a 5-10 minute extra wait and asked if we wanted to swap to another side. The entrees with the potatoes arrived just a couple of minutes later, so Im not sure what that confusion was about. My girlfriend ordered the ribeye, and it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, no complaints there. I ordered the redfish. The fish itself was just okay, but the crawfish julie was fantastic. I just wish there was a bit more on top. My entree also came with a couscous that was ice cold. I was not expecting it to be served like that. The flavor of it was okay, however its not a pleasant experience eating hot fish and a hot baked potato to essentially eating flavored ice cubes. I would go back for another special occasion, but I would hope for the price point that those oddities would not have occurred.

This is a twin restaurant of the Tom Browns in Madison, and to no surprise the food & service is excellent. It s on the pricey side for this town, however quality of food and ambiance is worth every penny to me. Excellent celebration or anniversary restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone who likes excellent food in a beautiful environment.

2nd edit: The owner called to speak with us about our experience. They apologized and double checked that we received our refunded overcharge. Im glad they called. It shows they care. Edit: we went back and the manager credited the overcharge back to our card. I appreciated that. He apologized which was nice. My husband and I went there last night on 7/27/23. The menu states you get bread and butter with all entrees, we didnt get any. We ordered side salads with dinner, we never received them and had our waiter take them off the bill. The food was ok, not fantastic. Its definitely overpriced. Our bill was 121 and change. We left a 25.00 cash tip which is just over 20%. Today I looked at our bank account and they charged us 151. They added an additional 30.00 dollar charge to our card! We will be going back at 4pm when they open to speak with the manager! We are not happy and will not be going back! Stay away from Tom Browns! Its not worth it. You can have a delicious meal elsewhere for a lot less money and wont get ripped off!

Very cool spot! Not only is the food different than normal cuisine, it s delicious, and the cocktails are so good and so creative. The bartender Kathryn was the best!

We had a party of 9 tonight and everything was absolutely phenomenal. We had several appetizers including: spicy balls, fire cracker shrimp, egg rolls, frog legs, and alligator. Every appetizers was so delicious. Our meals included: bison filet, swordfish, filet mignon, red snapper, lobster tails, and ribeye. All entrees were fabulous. I am not a seafood fan and tried some of the swordfish and would definitely be willing to order it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. They had many dessert options tonight, but we opted for the carrot cake, white chocolate blueberry cheesecake, and vanilla bean creme brûlée to go. We were too stuffed to eat it after our meal but i m positive it will be delicious! Also, the adult beverages were awesome. We had a lavender lemon drip martini, tom collins, tom tom old fashion, the beached cat, gold margarita, and blood orange martini. Jamie our waitress was fabulous and Steven the manager came to check on us and ask about our service. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is a mix up about the vanilla bean cream brûlée. I wanted it to go and was told it would not be pretty or taste right to go and I told them that didn t matter, I would still like it to go. We ended up not getting the creme brûlée after we thought it was in the bag. Although we had the little mix up with desserts, we will definitely be back!

This was so bad and so disappointing as we need good restaurants in South Huntsville. Place is more like a diner than an upscale restaurant starting with the plastic menus like one finds at Cracker Barrel rather than a restaurant where the average entree is $75. The food was subpar. Overcooked sides with juices mingles on the plates. Wedge salad made with romaine lettuce and bacon bits, yeast rolls cold and butter not whipped. Price point should be well under $20 - although we probably wouldn t return because it just wasn t good. I feel bad for the wait staff - super nice - but not an upscale experience. Very nice experience. Great service and atmosphere. The food was highly overpriced for the quality. My lobster tail was over cooked, chewy, and flavorless. There were five of us and nobody s beef was cooked to chosen temperature. The beef was of very good quality. The cocktails and dessert were really good.

Had a large group go to Tom Browns and the service and food were outstanding. We were well attended to by the servers and was really impressed with the cocktails. Defintely would recommend.

Best date night EVER!!

Our bill was $200 for 2 people. We each got a regular entree and 1 drink each. The food was all right, but extremely overpriced. Also, the couscous side that comes with the seafood entree is not a side, and you cant switch it for a different side. You just have to buy another side.

My wife and I spend our anniversary dinner at Tom s and love the food, there appetizers were awesome, I had the king salmon and she had the filet, both were cooked to perfection. Quite possibly the best salmon I ve put in my mouth. We will definitely be back!

We got a drink at the bar before going to a table to eat. Kathryn is a fantastic bartender. I really enjoyed my mocktail! Alex served us tonight. He was accommodating, polite, and attentive. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the seasonal vegetables were well spiced and not overcooked. The creme brulee is always delicious here. Overall, a magical dining experience.

Outstanding place to go. Been wanting to go here for a bit, so glad we did. Definitely will be a regular place to go eat. Our waitress was great. Thank you Miss Madison for taking care of us, you will only be our waitress. If youre not working, Im not eating. Thats how great you are. Brought my (very picker eater) mom here last night and had a lovely experience! Ill be honest, the drink menu is what caught my eye initially, as they have lots of creative and delicious sounding drinks. But I was also really excited to see frog legs, gator bites and escargot on the menu.

Got there and everything looked great. Ordered pork belly appetizer for $16. It was okay but wouldn t say it s worth it, have definitely had better. Got Brussel sprouts side (ordered it as an appetizer). $9 for maybe 5 sprouts, but very delicious. Then for main course I got the bison filet wrapped in bacon with side of asparagus. Asparagus still had stem on it which made me spit out part of it. Steak was super rare and bacon very chewy. Very little flavor in the steak and it was $60+. We had also ordered two of a $15 cocktail and was served only one of that cocktail and a wine. With that being said I didn t speak up as that was early in the meal and I figured it d be fine. When our meals came out our waitress said you re totally gonna laugh at me but I forgot the salads you ordered so here they are. We received the salad at the same time as our food. She didn t apologize once. Never asked us how our food was. Very expensive restaurant for bad service.

This was my first time visiting Tom Brown South Huntsville. I usually visit the Madison location. I am never disappointed when I attend Tom Brown. The Wait Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I also had the pleasure of meeting The Tom Brown. I love the ambience of the giraffe s. Simply beautiful! I actually waited until this location opened. It didn t disappoint. I will definitely be coming back to this beautiful location.

My husband and I came to Tom Browns to celebrate my birthday. We had reservations for 8pm. When arrived we were told that the tables werent turning over as fast as they had hoped, and it would be a 35 min wait. We were told we could wait at the bar until a table opened up. After waiting 50 min, and seeing numerous tables leave, I sent my husband back to the hostess table to find out when we would be seated. Turns out, she forgot she had us go to the bar.... at 9pm, a whole hour after our initial reservation, we were seated. Our server, the bartenders, and the food were good, but for the prices they are charging, we should not have to wait to be seated an hour after our reservation time. Yes, we knew the we could order food from the bar, but we did not want to do this because we were there to celebrate my birthday and had a reservation. After this horrible experience, I told my friends and family to find any other steakhouse to go to for dinners and celebrations.

First time at this specific Tom Browns and it did not disappoint. Was able to make a reservation online quickly, and no issue or wait when we arrived. Drinks were really good, we had the crab claws and gumbo for appetizers. Absolutely the best gumbo I ve ever had from a restaurant hands down. I had the fresh fish special which was halibut and loaded baked potato. Fish was perfect . My wife had scallops and was pretty good as well. We will decently be back.

I have never been treated so racist in my life until tonight .I attended a party of 12 and the food was cold horrible raw undercooked bad customer service the managers were no help and they did not accommodate us at all they did not want the black community at their establishment this was sad my food was raw and I had to pay for it regardless it was sad to the point they called the police on us for no reason because the food was untouched cold raw I will never eat there again

We loved the decor and ambiance. However, if you are going to have a dress code, then enforce it. You need to edit it to Business Casual , at least, and describe what that means on your website. Our experience was marred by the overt, over-casualness of most diners. So many patrons looked like they thought they were dressing for a trip to Burger King. T-shirts, shorts, flip flops, even a white undershirt was seen. One man was wearing his baseball cap, both elbows on the table during the entire meal. The cocktails (I had the Gold Margarita) could use a little fine-tuning. The wedge salad is not a true wedge, though the menu warned it is not, but I opted for it anyway. It was very average. Regretfully, little time after our salads were brought, the entrees appeared, and the table was too small to accommodate everything comfortably. Two of us had the fried shrimp platter. It would be much better butterflied, but first and foremost, deveined! The fries on the platter were good. My husband had the red snapper and said it was very good. Other person had beef tips. No comment from him so we assumed he was happy. We had the chocolate molten cake for dessert, which was truly the highlight. The other couple had the crème brûlée. They enjoyed it. Our server was outstanding. I don t recall her name (Alexis?). I would give her 5 stars. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a person nearby in a wheelchair dining and there was appropriate access and space.

Really, really, really great food! There are few if any restaurants in Huntsville that provide any better food or service. It is expensive but the selection is hard to find. Lamb, bison, elk, and alligator are only offered in a few places in town. Very well prepared and the server was great. Did I mention it was expensive?

I like to think of myself as a old veteran in the world of restaurants, but I was shown a better way at Tom Browns, South Huntsville. First, we arrived without a reservation less than an hour before closing. We were warmly greeted at the door, our information was given, and we were swiftly shown a table near the bar. The ambiance of the restaurant was quirky, stylish, and unique. Our server (also the bartender) Tab, was great. We ordered appetisers and drinks, my date had the Pumpkin Spice martini and I had the Cat s Cry (a riff on a classic aviation), raw oysters and the egg roll appetiser. The oysters were fresh, and tasted of the sea, and the pulled pork egg rolls were delightful. Second course, Caesar salad and lobster bisque. Both were simple, but delivered promptly and tasted wonderful. Very impressed with the Bisque. We ordered a second round of cocktails (Lavender Lemon drop martini and a smoked mescal old fashioned) and they arrived promptly, and were expertly crafted. The entrees arrived, just as the last spoonful of bisque was consumed my date ordered the Toms Favorite from the specials menu, a kabob style skewer of filet, ribeye, and bison with fresh veggies, and I had the wild elk tenderloin OMG!!! Mind totally blown. Both entrees were delightful, perfectly temperatured, we ordered them chefs preference. My tenderloin was rich, medium rare and delightfully mouth watering, And the skewers were equally beautiful. We didn t leave anything. Tab brought us a complimentary cheese cake to complete the guilding of the lily. This was, hands down, the best restaurant experience of my life. Whatever they are doing there needs to be recognised. Needless to say, we will be back. I gave 5 stars, but would totally give them fifty. Well done!

Good food but seemed overpriced. Steak skewers were good. Pan fried Salmon was the winner. Standard fair for desserts like creme brulee, which was good. Decor was eclectic (giant Magic Mike picture). Nice staff. This is a good restaurant for Huntsville but overpriced by 25%. I have eaten the same dinner in bigger cities for less.

Tyler was great! He knew his food and drink. Food was perfect as were the drinks. I was disappointed with the decor as it does NOT match the quality of the food. We will be back for sure.

My boo and I absolutely loved celebrating our anniversary here last week! Tyler was our waiter and was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. My boyfriend loved his salmon, and the mahi-mahi I ordered was perfect. I especially loved the garlic mashed potatoes and the cocktail I ordered. The decor wasn t our favorite, some odd pieces of art for sure, but the food was delicious. A good choice for a celebratory dinner.

This was my first visit and I had the best experience while seated at the bar. Jared was so sweet and very helpful with recommendations on the menu. My dinner and cocktails were both amazing and I can t wait to go back!

My wife and I choice at Tom Brown s was excellent. We were greeted immediately when entering with a welcome and smiles. After seating, Tyler was quickly to our table to greet us and promptly reviewed drink options with recommendations. After our drinks came quickly, Tyler then reviewed appetizer options. We chose crab cakes and hot rolls which were great and fresh. Tyler talked with about dinner options which we finalized on of the 14 oz ribeye cooked medium with loaded baked potato. It was perfect. After dinner, Tyler brought out dessert options on a tray, which were many and all look great. We chose pecan pie which you can t go wrong with. Hope you choose to dine here. Reservation is highly recommended.

I was reading online before going, there was a lot of hate on Reddit and in other reviews. After visiting, I dont get the hate, it was amazing top-to-bottom. The staff did their jobs amazingly, the kitchen did their job amazingly, the food was as ordered... loved it. 10/10. Kid-friendliness: The menu has standard-fare kid favorites, and the staff was great with the kids as well.

I have mixed feeling about my first visit to the Tom Brown restaurant. Most importantly, the food and drinks were excellent! I had the clams, a glass of wine, a cocktail and a dessert. The day was not over for me so I didn t want to eat too heavy. The disappointing part was my experience. It started with ordering my food. I have a sweet tooth so I was very interested in the dessert bar. I didn t want to eat too heavy, so I could save room for dessert. In conversation with the waitresses named Alexis, she felt she had to bring up this point. She stated that they implemented a new policy at Tom Brown and guest were required to purchase at minimum of 3 items during their visit. That made me feel like I was cheap. I had already mentioned I was getting dessert and I had ordered food and a glass of wine so I was already at three. She didn t have to mention that. She then proceeded to count the number of items I was planning to order and told me that would be good enough. I have never had that type of experience in a Reaturant of this quality before. The second issue was Alexis got my order wrong. She brought me clams instead of the mussels I ordered. She said all she heard was the word steamed when I ordered and assumed clams. I will say, the clams were very good, but it was not what I ordered. I spent $63 tonight and felt the whole time like I was cheap. I would have stayed longer and had more but I felt like I was a cheap person for dining here. That was very disappointing for a place that has such good food and atmosphere. I m sorry if my visit was not with the $$ that Tom Brown received tonight. I hope they can improve their training of their staff because that s what tonight s review boils down to. Food was top notch but service and experience did not match.

Nice place. My food was good. The Atmosphere was good. The staff was good.. Good quality food, meals are a pricy for the size portion but otherwise very nice quality expensive restaurant. The owner came to check on us, very nice man. Average cost was about $50 per person +-, drinks are about $15 and some are topped with 24k gold flakes. Fancy

I am so picky and would rather cook than waste money on okay food and service. Tonight was a special occasion so we thought we would try. It was out of this world good. Service impeccable. The Bison is to die for and the filet. Grilled veggies great. Good wine. The rolls best I have ever had. I will be back! Expect to spend a 100.00 with appetizers two wine and regular drinks, are total was 159.00 a little pricey but not too much for special occasion. Great atmosphere too! Not too crowded with chairs. Bar had tvs but classy.

Maybe Tuesday night wasn t a good night to go BUT, at this level of restaurant, it should be near perfect any day of the week. We went opening week and the food was excellent, service was too. I guess when Tom is there walking around it better be! Unfortunately, that hasn t carried over. The food was marginal at best and was returned for an alternate dish and failed there too. Top it off with burnt Creme Brulee - three strikes and this batter was out. I do appreciate the staff s attempts at making it right for this visit. We ll give them another try on a more popular night. Maybe the good chef will be in charge.

We hosted our company holiday party here. We reserved the two rooms and it worked out perfectly. Their staff was so nice and the was AMAZING as always. We had several first-timers to Tom Browns and many of said that they would be back. Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, gluten, and nut allergy options

They do not care about allergies almost got killed eating here.

The server was very nice but lamb Shank was very fatty and NOT very tasteful. I let the waitress know and she explained she will get the manger it took the manger 15 mins to come ask me did you try it I m not sure how I would know the food wasn t tasteful/bland if I didn t taste it. She then proceeds to say let me see what I can do that takes another 15 mins. She comes back and say the cook hasn t had any complaints tonight so can I box it up for you mind you during this time my food is sitting getting cold. I told her no thank you I no longer want it, she say again let me call Tom apparently Tom tells my server to bring the ticket out as is(which I didn t mind switching my meal to something else that same price but I didn t get that option) the serve did offer to see if they can change it to something else if I don t mind and I let her know I don t mind I ll take something else. Then a guy comes out and stands over me with his hands on hips with a nice nasty attitude asking me again did you try it I m unsure again why I m being asked this. He goes on to tell me they don t replace food or take it back just because the customer doesn t like it, and that he has cooked 27 lamb shanks and had no complaints this day. (In my mind he s the cook/cheif) Mind you neither this guy or the manger introduced themselves which is customer service 101. I learned before leaving the guy was Tom Brown himself. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming I ll never go back. I ve been there plenty of times and spent good money there on tomahawk steak but that was my last time ever spending a dime there CHAR would never show such distasteful behavior.

My girlfriends and I ate out for dinner at the hsv location and received great customer service from our waitress. But horrible and unprofessional customer service from the manager and Tom Brown. After my sister stated her lamb shank was bland and not tasteful an option to get another food item to swap wasn t given, nor a sincere apology for the inconvenience or at least act like you care she didn t enjoy her food, but instead we heard from the manager we haven t had complaints all night, this is our most popular item on the menu Tom said I cooked 27 of these and not a single complaint so the fact they didn t acknowledge the customers feelings was not professional. I don t care about any one else s taste buds SHE DID NT LIKE IT. Meet us hald way, help with a solution something. I feel like this could ve been handled by management a lot better.

Our waiter was great the food was amazing! We didnt have room for dessert but they looked so yummy! We will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: We had our 4yr old with us and she got a mock-tail and loved it!
