800 Wellman Ave NE, Huntsville, AL 35801, United States
Huntsville’s first Thai Restaurant, established in 1991.
Unfortunately, our recent experience at Thai Garden in Huntsville was extremely disappointing. We ordered pad rice noodles and vegetables, but both were served raw and uncooked. The pad rice noodles were barely cooked, and the vegetables were still overly saggy and raw. We also found the customer service to be lacking. When we brought our concerns to the attention of the staff, they simply brushed us off and blamed the manager's absence. No one took ownership of the issue or attempted to rectify the situation. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience at Thai Garden. The food was subpar, and the customer service was nonexistent. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you are looking for a good Thai restaurant in Huntsville, we would recommend going elsewhere.
I visited this restaurant hoping for a delightful Thai dining experience based on promising reviews. Sadly, it turned out to be a huge disappointment in both food and service. The food was particularly underwhelming. The dishes were uncooked and tough, making them nearly hard to eat. The vegetables were not fresh, which significantly detracted from the overall quality and taste. We were super hungry, so we managed to eat. Service was equally poor. We had to call multiple times just to place our order, and once our food finally arrived, no one bothered to check on us. The staff appeared inattentive and disengaged, which made the dining experience even more frustrating. As a lover of Thai food, this experience was truly disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic or enjoyable Thai cuisine. It simply did not live up to the expectations set by its reviews.
Seriously one of my favorite restaurants in Huntsville. Hands out the best food! ❤️ I’m obsessed with the Tom kha Kai and the sticky rice and custard!
I always order the tom yum kai soup and #38 for my meal and it is always delicious! I have been coming here for at least 30 years and the food tastes just like it did then. Their fried rice is also really tasty.
So listen I’ve had pad Thai all over the country. So I can’t say this was the best I ever had. It was ok. However, for Alabama it’s definitely good. And the spring rolls were amazing. The spicy friend rice was great. It had such an even spice. Definitely spices but not burn your tongue off and ruin the rest of the meal spicy. All the food came out fresh and hot. The atmosphere is perfect. I absolutely loved the feel. And the service was fantastic. Every person who served us was so kind and lovely. I would definitely visit again.
It was my first time here and the chicken laab was delicious. The Tum Yum was ok and the customer service was excellent.
So here’s the deal. I’m from New Jersey where we have the best Thai and Asian food in the country. For me this dish was not good, the noodles were almost spaghetti like and the sauce wasn’t hitting it for me. For those around here, this place is probably a good visit. For me, I don’t think I would come back personally. That said the staff were very kind and welcoming and the atmosphere was very nice. So take my review under advisement and make your own decision.
The service was great, food came out fast and hot, and my drinks were always filled. The atmosphere was clean and not crowded. However, the food was blah, and my Pad Thai didn't have much flavor. I have had great Pad Thai, and this was just blah. The spring rolls, however, were delicious, but the sprimp in the blanket was AWFUL 😖. I think the shrimp was bad. It smelled and tasted nasty, I was honestly surprised I didn't get sick from the one bite I took. It was not a terrible place, but there are better Thai restaurants in the Huntsville area.
Thai Garden is a little gem in Five Points. The food is consistently delicious and the service friendly. Definitely recommend for eat in and take out!
Good service, terrible food
I ordered coconut curry soup with shrimp and it was basically spiced lemon water. I will not be back it was disgusting.
Always great coming here. Great food and great service!
Food and service was great
Definitely a favorite. The service was very timely and the servers attentive. The food was yummy, highly flavorful and theyre not afraid to spice it up when you ask. The peanut sauce and the mango sticky rice is out of this world.
Delicious food and incredible service. I forgot my leftover container, and a staff member came up to my car and gave it to me before I left! The shrimp in a blanket has to be one of my favorite appetizers I ve eaten.
We ate here twice in one week, and the food and service were both excellent. Suri was our waitress, and she is a bright light. She was happy, and very attentive. Her food recommendations were spot on. Could not ask for better service! Fair prices, fresh food, excellent garlic sauce, just all around wonderful.
Always wonderful!
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. A very relaxing restaurant.
Well served, quick service, polite staff. I could not taste the garlic sauce served with the SL-11 Pad Gra Tiam. Taste was too blend. The parking area is cumbersome, parking spaces are not wide enough and car doors buffer space is very tight. When the restaurant was full, the A/C was having a hard time to keep up and it was pretty warm. Parking: The parking area is cumbersome, parking spaces are not wide enough and car doors buffer space is very tight.
One of our families favorites. Mango Sticky Rice (when its available) is one of my favorite sweet bites ever. Service is also always on point.
Love going here, its our date night spot. Always receive a warm welcome, good service and a great wait staff, and yes good food
Nice local restaurant. Lunch was amazing
The best Thai food in Huntsville and the best service! The owner does a fantastic job of serving quality food at great prices!
Best Pad Thai in the State Current Cook is spot on and back to being as good as it has ever been
Great food and fast service. The lunch specials are tasty.
Great experience! Our server, Jacob, was excellent. The food was fantastic!
I LOVE #55 with veggies and no meat. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!
One of my favorite places to eat.
First time here today and loved it. The spring rolls are actually homemade like it says. Had a coconut soup that was delicious and the chicken phad thai at the 3 star level. Perfect spice. While Im working up here in huntsville Ill be going back tomorrow for lunch
We stopped here to enjoy a quick lunch while returning from our spring break trip. We ordered spring rolls, chicken satay, green curry chicken, chicken Thai fried rice and pork Pad See-Ew. Everything we ordered was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was superb. The food came out really fast and all of the wait staff were helpful and friendly. The bathrooms weren t super clean and could use some attention. But, the dining room is nicely decorated and appeared very clean. Parking: There aren t a lot of parking spaces by the restaurant. But, what is available is free and self parking. If the restaurant is busy, I think it would be challenging to find a place to park.
We were not originally planning on eating dinner here but I am so glad we did! We ordered the Mee krob, gaeng sahb-pa-roht, wonton soup, beer and a Thai tea. And everything was fantastic (except for the tea, it was just ok). I love Thai food, and every time I go I try to try at least one new dish. Tonight we tried two dishes and I recommend them highly! We will definitely be going back again to try some more
We try Thai restaurants wherever we go. Keeping in mind that Alabama is not really known for spicy hot food, this was relatively spicy. Recommended.
Spicy chili catfish is always on point and the staff is consistently great. Amazing little local place.
Really great food, service and atmosphere. Overall enjoyable experience. Highly recommedable.
Outstanding! Great food served by great people
The food was good. The service and atmosphere was nice.
Foos and service were Great. Definitely reccomend for a Thai meal
Great Thai food in Huntsville that s been a staple of our city for decades. Love this place.
Good food and good service.
Best place for Thai in Huntsville. Great location with lots of seating and nice wait-staff.
Extremely good food. Must try the spring rolls. Amazing service and very clean. Reasonable prices.
Vegetarian options: Food is terrible
Such great food and excellent customer service
Ive never written a bad food review in my whole stinkin life. Ordered takeout, it was quick and the lady at the front was very nice. I ate spring rolls on the way home and they were decent. But when I got home I pulled out the most plain/bland chicken fried rice Ive ever seen. This coming from a dude that loves everything from cafeteria food to fine dining. Its like they put water rice and chicken in the pan, thats it. My wife ordered two different soups to try them out and both were bad. She accused me of pranking her. Normally my daughter LOVES Pad Thai and she talked about it the whole way home. When she got to try it at home I thought she was being dramatic since I hadnt tried anything yet. Couldnt get her to eat it at all. Look Ive always said that people that leave bad food reviews are generally miserable creatures that just want to suck joy out of everyones life. But this feels like a moral obligation. $55 down the drain.
It s been awhile since I ve been here and everything was still great!! The service was friendly and awesome; and the food was delicious and filling!!! I always have good service with the staff(s) and good food whenever I come here.
The chicken pad Thai is excellent! So are the Spring rolls!! Highly recommend this place! Parking: They have a little strip of parking spaces, you might have to park elsewhere if they are busy.
The food was great and the portions were generous. I will visit again.
The food and service are great every time I go to Thai Garden. Theres a reason this restaurant has been around for such a long time.
Best Tai food in huntsville.
Always a fantastic experience! Food is so delicious. Vegetarian options: Great selection Parking: Easy parking
Atmosphere was ok (could be updated a bit). Customer service was fantastic - engaged with customers. You can tell there is passion for the food. Food was really good. We ordered a red and green curry dish. Both had a lot of depth and just the right level of spice. Personally, I would have liked the curry to be slightly thicker. We will definitely go back.
Excellent service and excellent food! I came with a very large group so they had their work cut out for them but they accommodated all of us with excellence. They did forget two orders for a while but they solved the issue once they realized. The food was hot and delicious with good portions.
I had Thai Spring Rolls and Chicken Pad Thai. This was the first time I tried the Spring Rolls, they are delicious!! The chicken Pad Thai was great as usual! Also, as usual, a to go box was needed - large servings!
There arent enough words to express the public humiliation of not only poor customer service but the lack of accountability for it. Our dine in experience consisted of over-sweetented Thai teas and cold food. The offer to reheat the food using a microwave instead of making a fresh dish was absolutely unacceptable. The manager was rude, defensive and verbally combative opposed to being empathetic to the situation. I suggested police intervention. However, there are no laws protecting us from terrible service. Although the food was not consumed. I was forced to pay. I hope this will help others.
Staff was incredibly polite and food was delicious. Husband got Pad Nam Mun Hoy and a Thai coffee and I got Pad Phed Mee. We split the Thai homemade spring rolls with ground pork.
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Huntsville! The food is amazing and authentic Thai. The staff is super friendly. Great place for a quick lunch they can get you in and out in less than 30 minutes. My favorite dish is the chicken and broccoli 5 star if you like spicy! Coconut soup is amazing also. Thai Garden is must!
The owners were eating their family meal when we came in, but they said to us they would make the food anyway, because we weren t going to be able to eat till 8 because of a wedding! So thankful and the food was delicious! Lovely owners and I wish I could thank them again!
Very bad food, would not recommend to anyone. Food was bland, soggy, and broth was to much. Would not recommend
I really enjoy eating a Thai Garden. Its very consistent. My favorite dish is the green curry. I recommend trying it with shrimp.
Fantastic Thai food, friendly staff, and a great place to go eat lunch. Very quiet atmosphere
Take out...pad Thai
Customers Beware!! Bad customer service seems to be a common business practice. And rejected orders could offend the restaurant manager. Pofits are more important than customer satisfaction. As any reputable restaurant manager would prove their integrity with accommodations. Such as a gift card, freshly prepared reorder or a simple REFUND. Instead, an offer to reheat cold rice in a microwave oven was proposed. The order was placed around 8:30...the restaurant closed at 9pm. My theory is that the staff had no intention to ensure our order would be freshly prepared or hot. Instead, the staffs goal was closing the restaurant in a timely and manner, repurposing food to avoid a loss, and passing the cost onto the patron. I declined the uneaten food and any furrher service. As a result, the manager became extremely hostile and berated me for the complaint. She I pay before leaving. When I refused she threatened to contact police and I suggested she call also. She became increasingly angry and I contacted the police to file a report. This review is in correlation to another review published by my husband. I want to be transparent and totally honest about this ordeal. This was the first time in my 51 yrs as an American and wife of a retired disabled veteran that Ive ever felt such disgrace. I want to thank the Huntsville Police Department for assisting me. As I have filed a civil litigation involving the matter. Business shouldnt profit if they fail the customer...intentionally or not. Its time to condemn greedy businesses that prioritize profits over the quality and fail to provide satisfactory service. I also wish to plead to Google, please dont allow this selfish manager to dispute/remove customer reviews. It enables her to remain unaccountable for poor customer service, and profiting from it. I am available to be reached for further validation of this dreadful experience. Sincerely K, Council
Food was decent ,my not spectacular
Food is always great! We got special order and authentic spicy. Staff was very friendly and treating you like a family! They always bring dessert for our kids! Love this place!
Food is true to its roots. Service is beyond exceptional and the atmosphere is homey. Cant say enough good things. Treat yourself to excellence, you wont regret it.
Great menu, reasonably priced, pleasant service.
The food is definitely worth every cent.
Fantastic food, great service, wonderfully decorated! Plah Goong is great!
This is the best Thai food in America. Nothing comes close.
I had the gaeng keow-wan (green curry) with chicken ($14.99). It was okay but the flavor was a little off. It was missing the hint of sweetness and was a bit pasty, too little coconut milk, maybe? I usually eat up all the rice, soaking up the curry but it didnt have that Ive got to get every last drop pull. The flavor didnt carry through to the chicken or bamboo either. The rice was good and tender. The place was nice and the service was great. Parking: Free parking is available on the street along the restaurant. There were more cars than there were patrons inside . It could also be dangerous to back out into traffic when its busy. The spots in front of the other stores are reserved but may be available after hours.
Just good food, I tried the Pad Thai. Excellent.
First time here and we re with a group of friends. We ordered 8-9 different dishes including the appetizer and the true testament to this place is that each one of those dishes was delicious. The ambiance and aesthetic were simple but pleasant and the food amazing.
This place is amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful. They do have secret menu heat lvls. The food is phenomenal. I have not found a dish here that I do not like.
Such a quaint little spot! It was a great experience and perfect for an outing with a few friends. I don t know if I would take a whole bunch of kids there.
Their food gave me very bad food poisoning with 48hr of diarrhea. This place is already overpriced and not special at all. I am convinced they stay open because there is nothing else to eat in the neighborhood.
I m sorry to everyone who thinks this place is the best Thai food ever but it s consistently a miss for me. I ve tried four or five times because I WANT it to be good. It s right in my neighborhood. But it just isn t anything I like about Thai food. There are hardly any veggies in most of the dishes when I d expect them to be there - curries and noodles. I haven t looked at the woks or fried rice because I never made it that far. The pineapple curry is watery and I ended up paying too much because I had to pay extra to add the vegetables that I would have expected to be there in the first place. Like, give the girlies a bell pepper at least! I didn t specify a spice level but they also didn t ask, and this curry is meek and mild y all. Anyway. The place is lovely and the staff are friendly, but if you ve eaten Thai food pretty much anywhere else, you re not going to find what you like here.
I had the Massaman Curry. Husband had Pad Thai. Food was delicious. Heavy on meat, light on veggies. Servers were so polite and quick.
The ambience and service is good and food is too good..have to visit place..
Thai Garden is my favorite Huntsville restaurant. I always get the same thing, egg flower soup, jasmine tea to start and I get the same entre everytime because its the first thing I tried when I started going there and I just cant pull myself away from #21. Atmosphere is very nice but not over stated. Staff is very friendly and kind. Good people and great food. Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options and gluten free options
Amazing! Such flavor and spice! This place is authentic.Worth the wait. So many choices, for vegetarians, too. Everything smelled and tasted fresh. Such a gem in the South. And they accommodated a party of 6 when they were slammed.
The food and service were great!
Good food, reasonable service.
Food was excellent.
Best Thai food in town!
Very friendly, good food, large portions. Spring rolls were small but tasty, Thai Fried rice was a little bland, Pad & green curry were very good. Soup was served in heated pot for the table. Thai tea was super sweet & strong.
I don t usually post reviews but the experience at this restaurant was pretty bad. The waitress was gracious and pleasant, however, the lady who can from the back when we complained about the inedible fish my husband ordered she lacks customer service. She obviously thought she was speaking to uneducated patrons when she attempted to explain the cost of food to us. This had nothing to do with the fact that the meal was ill-prepared. She then proceeded to tell us this was how the fish had to be prepared well, my husband has had this particular dish on several occasions at different restaurants (and countries) not once has it been prepared in a brick like fashion (and yes, he knows what fried is)! The one star is NOT a reflection of the overall experience, it is purely based on the poor treatment. Customer service goes a long way for me and my family. The server, as previously mentioned, was pleasant and our sons enjoyed their meals (I couldn t enjoy my meal after this lady came out). She is the reason for the one star! The most ridiculous part of all of this is she thought she was doing us a favor by removing the cost of the inedible item from the bill we have been blessed to eat out (probably more frequently than we should) paying for an entree IS and WAS not the issue. My recommendation be careful how you treat people you might GAIN instead of LOSING customers.
Really great, cozy place in Five Points. Food s legit. The menu has something for everyone.
Always yummy food, friendly staff, very consistent.
Have been going to this place for 16+ years now & have been disappointed very few times. Hands down they make the best Thai Basil Fried rice in Huntsville, with option to substitute brown rice is an added bonus! Family owned & never a wait time, a real hidden gem in the city!!!
Not what I expected at all....food was ok but didnt live up to the hype....no extras came with your expense meal....such as a soup or salad
First time Id been back in the restaurant to eat since the pandemic hit the US and I am happy to report that the food and service are as wonderful as ever and that they are practicing COVID safety measures.
First time, but not last! Massaman curry was amazing, pad thai was very good. Also had chicken satay and spring rolls, all delicious. Very friendly server
I wasn t impressed with the curry. I ve had other Thai place and this one was by far the worst. I got pannang curry and it didn t taste very good or smelll as it should have. However the staff is nice.
Theyre always very friendly and everything Ive tried is really good
They so very nice!
Excellent!
We worshiped the devil at our table and listened to carpathian forest. The waiter was totally cool with it she even prayed to Satan with us before leaving. Thai Garden loves the devil.
Lovely little place. Friendly staff and super quick service. Food was great!
Food and service were excellent. The spicy entrees are, indeed, just that.
Great food, great staff, always enjoy Thai Garden!
Excellent authentic Thai cuisine portions large . soups can be quite savory especially ordered very hot
Great food and lovely dine in
Wasnt as good as the reviews. Sauce in the dishes was watery and not very seasoned. Would not come back.
Vegetarian options: There is a small session of the menu with a few dished. They are also good with modified dishes to accomodate vegetarian clients.
Fantastic Thai food. Clean and nice service
Good food! Expensive though.
I ordered takeout, and I was disappointed in the food. The Pad Voon Sen was very salty, and the Massaman Curry was just bland. It was pretty expensive too. Cant recommend.
Amazing food and service
Went there for Friday night dinner w my wife. Food is average and over priced. Green curry was watery, appetizers were $13 and small sized. I had noodles w shrimp, only 4 shrimp in the dish. And they ran out of tea. Not a great dinner experience.
My family and I are regulars at this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is always very friendly and personable!
Prices went up significantly. Food was good though. Would probably go more often if I didnt have to pay $40 for two dishes.
We got a Pad Thai, a Basil Fried Rice and a sampler platter appetizer. The food was wonderful but expensive. We spent $51 without tip included.
Love the atmosphere and the food. The wait staff was very nice.
Attentive service, no wait, and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Excellent food and service. Fast service as well. Good place for a quick lunch.
The dish you described sounds good, but what I got was a Togo container full of broth, it was to the brim with the chicken drowned it the broth. I got a Wok Fried dish, number 38. When I got back to my hotel I opened the bag to find a soupy mess. There was not a single mark on the food that showed it was fried in a wok. The soup did taste pretty good though, and when I say soup I mean it, the Togo container was 70% broth and the rest was hot but not fried food.
Everything is watered down and without real depth or flavor. This is not traditional Thai food. Would not recommend or return. Update per the response from the owner: yes, I admit that I ordered soup without mushrooms as well as a vegetarian meal, but I m not sure what this has to do with flavor or coconut milk being the prime ingredient in coconut soup
The best Chicken Curry I have had in years!
One of our favorite Thai restaurants, definitely one of the best in Huntsville.
I was very underwhelmed. I ordered from the lunch menu and it was supposed to have some heat to it. It was bland, except for the sugar in the sauce. It came with a spring roll and wonton that were SO small. Spring roll was seriously an inch and a half long. I always take my leftovers but I left them behind. NO flavor whatsoever. The soup starter was egg flower soup. It had one scrap of egg and tasted like sweat socks. I shouldnt have to season my food at the table.
I got the number 11 and it just wasnt flavorful. I only got 4 pieces of shrimp. The wontons were tiny. The egg flower soup was bland with barely any egg. The broccoli was mostly stem, half of it I couldnt eat because it was tough. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone
The food and service were quite good. The Christmas decorations were well done. Dietary restrictions: I was easily able to avoid peanuts, to which I am allergic. Food : 5/5 |
Great food for great prices. A nice mom and pop local restaurant that focuses on the food and not the fancy bits.
I love the taste a lot! And I think the most attractive part about this restaurant is the people :)
Always a favorite. Their coconut soup is so healing. So many vegetarian options full of flavor.
My first thai food experience and Wow this place has great food ! very clean . inviting dinning .
I have been to just about every Thai restaurant in Huntsville. If you are looking for the best, this is the place to go. Their curry has a another level of flavor to it that I haven t experienced anywhere else. Highly recommend!
Fantastic!!
The service is great and the food is delicious! Best Thai restaurant in town!
Yes.
Thai Garden serves excellent Thai food. Remember to ask in advance to get the HOT SPICY LEVEL up to typical Thai standards. The serving staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner Ms. Rainy used the COVID shutdown to thoroughly modernize and upgrade her restaurant, which is a strong investment into the Huntsville community. Always welcoming, the entire staff of Thai Garden light up the restaurant with the famous Thai Smiles that make Thailand such a wonderful country.
I would not recommend Thai Garden to my worst enemy, well, maybe my worst enemy, but not a regular one. The two stars I gave it were for the sweet waitress we had not the food! We ordered Spring Rolls to start, half pork and have vegetable. They were simply okay, not great! My husband ordered the lunch ribs. They gave him a rib and a half of fat. Again they were not great. I ordered the Pad Voon Sen with brown rice. It tasted okay, not bad, not great. The rice on the other hand was MILDEWY!!!!! I sent it back for a salad. My daughter ordered the Pad Thai. It was off in the taste. Another person came over to check on us (it wasnt our waitress), my daughter told her about the food and this person proceeded to argue her down and tell her it was a 30 year old recipe. The recipe may be 30 years old, but it tasted like it had been sitting for days. So she told them she wanted to trade it for what I had. The lady (again, not our waitress) got highly irritated and rude. She came slamming food back on the table and didnt say a word to us! When they brought the bill, both of my daughters meals were on the table. The not waitress had not told our waitress to take it off and were trying to chafe for something that was incredible! Our waitress took care of it and we tipped her nicely. We will not be back. Save your money, time, and frustration by going somewhere else.
The best Thai place in town! Food is always great! If you like spicy food, I would recommend asking for more star. I love spicy food and thai garden is the only place that can do thai hot!! We eat here every week. Service is exceptional especially James and Su!!
Thai Garden is a wonderful tucked away gem of a spot that gives an intimate environment and some of the most amazing food Ive ever had! The staff is Always courteous and swift, but not so fast as to forget your order or you drinks. The owner is simply an Amazingly sweet and kind person who Actually cares about your opinion of wether you enjoyed your experience with her food and her staff. This is just a great little spot for a meal for 1 or 2, or even a large group of folks to have an amazing meal and a great environment to enjoy it in! As to what to order? Honestly you could close your eyes and just put your finger down on anything on the menu and youd be happy. But dont take my opinion for it, stop by and let their food prove it for you.
Cant wait to go back and try more things!!
The food was excellent as the service. Would eat there again.
I do not know what did you do to the food today but it was BEYOND AMAZING! 5 stars, keep up the good work guys!
Always great food and service.
I picked up the chicken masseman curry and vegetable spring rolls. Not many potatoes or chicken and it was okay at best. The spring rolls were just okay also. Nothing special about this place to me. I ll look elsewhere next time.
100%Good food
My first time today. Great food but what was nice is that the employees were welcoming and very pleasant. This place is a diamond.
Thai Garden is a cozy little restaurant thats been around forever - I only say this because I remember having it as a super picky child and not liking it some 15 years ago! They moved to 5 Points in 1993. 27 years in one location is pretty darn good for a restaurant. Now that Im no longer a picky child and am instead a huge fan of Thai food, it was only a matter of time before I decided to try Thai Garden again. We had them for carryout for lunch on Friday, and we enjoyed their food. Carryout was easy and seamless -- food ready 15 minutes after I called, staff super friendly and polite. Parking is a little difficult here due to the crowded nature of 5 Points, so plan ahead or hope you get lucky. The inside of the restaurant is cozy, if a little dim, and people were spaced very far apart at the tables. We had the Pad See Ew with chicken (my fave), a Thai iced tea, and the hot and sour wings. Food wise, the hot and sour wings were the best thing. Its an appetizer, not a meal, so not a huge serving, but the wings were very meaty and the sauce struck a good balance between spicy and sweet/sour. The Pad See Ew was alright. Not my favorite version of the dish in town -- the brown sauce isnt as flavorful as some other places. Or maybe there just wasnt enough of it for me, Im not sure. One fun thing is that Thai Garden makes theirs with Chinese broccoli / kale, so the vegetables are a good bit less bulky and slightly slimier than broccoli Americans are used to. I enjoyed the change of pace in that regard but was really missing some of the flavors you get at other places. The Thai iced tea was delicious and might be my favorite restaurant Thai tea in the area. Overall, while Id probably try a curry or something different the next time I go, and while this isnt my absolute favorite Thai joint in Huntsville, for consistency and convenience Thai Garden is a good option.
Great service and great food.
This establishment is great. Very friendly staff delicious food and reasonable cost
I am a native but well traveled, especially in Asia. This is an outstanding place with great service. Have been there four times and every meal has been awesome.
Excellent place to eat.
Good food, good service. Building is kept extremely cold so your food gets cold.
The service was great and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Consistently wonderful for over 20 years of visiting
been eating here since the 90s and Ive NEVER had a bad meal, the coconut soup and red curry are my personal favorites.
Fantastic food and customer service. Love the #13!
Friendly staff and great food. Rating from 1 to 10, 10 been the highest I give them a 15...
This is a good Thai restaurant in Huntsvilles Five Points area. It is a good place to get Thai food that is not necessarily flamboyant. Portions are large. Service was excellent.
Terrific, friendly service. Good assortment of menu items. Reasonably priced.
My family have been here twice, and the food was amazing. Pretty authentic. Good service. Small space. Seem like they habe lot of take out order too.
Best Thai I ve ever had hands down
Great food and great staff. The service is always excellent. Its always a pleasant experience and the staff are always friendly and give a good expectation for the weeks Thai chilis
The food and service here is great. I wish they would put Som Tom on the menu though. It is one of my favorite dishes from my travels in Thailand.
This place was really nice, clean and provided fantastic food. We both tried new to us dishes and were super impressed. I tried the Thai level 4 native spicy dish and it was not over powering. We will definitely be back again.
Excellent service. Food was very good.
We had a wonderful date night. The best Thai food I have ever had. The staff was wonderful, definitely my new favorite restaurant.
Great quality. Well prepared and fresh vegetables. Cooked fresh, dishes were hot as they arrived. Pad Phed Mee was spicy . Thai Pad Phiew Whan (sweet and sour), Pad Thai w Shrimp, and Pad Khing all good. Our next trip well try the Charbroil Thai Style beef and pork. Staff did a great job!
The service and food here are always good. Thai Garden has a unique touch to all of their delicious dishes that you wont find anywhere else. Its definitely one of the best, if not the best Thai restaurant in all of Huntsville.
Really disappointed in the level of Spice. I got the 5 star spice level, which is above Native Thai, and it was not spicy at all. It costed and extra $1 as well. When I get 5 star spice level I expect my mouth to be on fire and my eyes and nose to water. I didnt feel any of that. Response to Owner: I understand that. but when my 5 star level taste just as spicy as my friends 2 star, there is a problem. I did not inform them because we felt very rushed to leave because we were the last customers.
the service is absolutely amazing, the food is meh and a bit overpriced for what it is but it s certainly not bad
On old favorite!
Food was absolutely amazing. Service was fast and accurate. Environment was also nice.
We love Thai Garden. My family has been coming here for over 20 years. Friendly waitstaff and great food!
Amazing food, and fast service!! 10/10,will go again, and recommend! At first it seemed a little pricey, but once the heaping plate of food arrived it was well worth it!!
Love this place for 30 years
Good service, management was quick to respond to issues. 5 stars.
Service and food have been great on the three times we have visited!
Great Asian food.
Been coming here for 25 yrs. The food is ALWAYS AMAZING ! The service has always been very good. One of my favorites!
I been here once two years back as last time and was disappointed only one Vegan item was there as vegan is different from vegetarian. The staff are super friendly. Wonder of any new vegan items added? Again, after receiving a response from the owner I still hear Vegetarian which is different from Vegan. Do you all have any Vegan items which have no fish sauce, no oyster sauce, no eggs, no meat broth, no meat, no cows milk, pretty much which have no animal by-products period? There is a difference between Vegan and Vegetarian as many Vegetarian dishes have seafood, eggs or cows milk which I cannot have. The truth is that in many Thai restaurants the curries, noodles and other dishes have fish sauce, oyster sauce, cows milk or meat broth and cannot be taken out as told. I am wondering of Vegan items you all have, not Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian? I am a strict Vegan who cannot have any animal by-roducts period and stricter than Vegetarian. Do I make myself clear? Thanks for the patience and understanding. Thanks!
Always a great experience
The only reason this isnt one star is because the service was very quick and helpful. Unfortunately I cant speak as highly about the food. I had a chicken curry dish that smelled like it was days old and the broth had a discoloration to it that was showing the broth ingredients were separated which meant it wasnt mixed correctly or it was undercooked. I will most likely not come back here and would recommend going down the road to Surin to anyone with an equally unfortunate experience here.
The Thai Gardens food is the best we have here. Having lived in Thailand for two years its close.
No better thai food anywhere.
The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
Absolutely top notch! Have order many different things off the menu and have never been disappointented! Would highly recommend!
my only complaint might be that everything was ridiculously sweet. Try the Chai, its amazing
