This place is good but the food is not good .I ordered fried rice but it is too cold.

As with all of the other reviews, this place is absolutely top notch. Weve eaten pretty much everything on the menu and without fail it has been excellent. I personally love Asian food and have eaten it frequently during the too-many years I traveled across the country for work and Viet Huong holds up against the best Ive had anywhere else.

Expect this place to be busy, but its for good reason! The food is DELICIOUS at incredible value. You may need to make an effort to get your servers attention for refills and ordering, but they are so nice- just packed! We will be back.

this is my favorite restaurant here in Huntsville, I am pretty much a regular here. their pho is AMAZING, I dont think Ive ever had a bad meal here. decently priced, a lot of food and great service. they are on top of getting refills and food to you in a timely manner, I would eat here everyday if I could. the best fried rice Ive ever had, the calamari meal is great, the spring rolls are my favorite! 10/10 would recommend!

Pho is very good.

The pho here is really good and inexpensive. A usual large pho from home is like $17 but over here is like $12. They have the usual fixings of sauces and veggies to come with the pho. I did try their lemongrass chicken which came with plenty of rice but not enough chicken as the chicken they put in were like small pieces and not slices. Ill probably stick to pho.

One of my favorite Pho places in North Alabama! Love the servers there and such fast service. Great place to eat and family friendly!

Update: service has improved. Pho is still good, tendon is still the star. Considering you can only get the large size too, the togo bowl needs to be larger. Its too small to fit the ingredients and the broth at the same time. 2023: I finally got the chance to come back here (last time was in 2016) and Im pleasantly surprised at how well the place has grown. I got the P1 - Pho Dac Biet (large 10.75). It was just as good as I remembered it. There was huge chunks of very tender tendon (Id come back just for that) in delicious broth. My server wasnt great. He brought out my meal (which came out fast) but didnt stop at my table again even though he I saw him in the dining room several times and he had no other tables. Other servers did stop by and check on me and offer more water while they were in the area and brought out my ticket when I was finished.

Amazing food with amazing staff

Loved almost everything I had. Unfortunately, the crab rangoon was a lot more savory than sweet and lacked filling. The spring rolls here were overpowered by the basil leaf inside the rolls. Other than that, walking in the restaurant was eye pleasing, clean, inviting, and full of delicious smells of food. Definitely recommend stopping by for a nice bowl of fresh, hot, authentic pho. The broth in the seafood pho was delicious and full of warmth and comfort. Cant wait for my next visit.

Food was good. Service sucked - didnt asked if we wanted refills, messed up our drinks + orders, and the server was extremely rude.

Sheesh what can I say that hasnt been said before. The staff here are friendly, quick, and exceed the standards set at other places. The food is top notch and reheats the next day for a nice little lunch. The atmosphere is pleasant and not at all over bearing or lacking. The line was out the door when we arrived, we waited between 10-15 minutes to get to a table and it was beyond worth that wait. Ordered and had our food within 10 minutes of being seated, constant refills on drinks, each time staff walked by they would make sure you were doing okay. Eat here if you want to enjoy authentic Vietnamese and other wonderful dishes. Explore with your palate discover what was unknown to you and maybe itll make you want to explore other food groups!

The Pho has restored my faith in the Asian cuisine in Huntsville. I will be coming back.

I went here for a work lunch, it was quite popular and even though it was full the noise was not very loud. The food was perfect portions and prices were low. I really enjoyed and recommend Viet Huong.

My family and I come here quite often, especially for pho (definitely recommend). I also love their Thai tea & Vietnamese coffee. It can be pretty busy and the line outside can be pretty long but the wait isn t that bad. Their stuff never fails to deliver. Personally, the atmosphere isn t too exciting but it s competent for the most part.

I came in and was greeted in a timely manner. I ordered 4 PC shrimp appetizer and it came very fast. The pho soup I ordered came within 5mins of my appetizer. They have alot of options on the menu.

Viet Huong is one of the best places to get pho or a clay pot in Huntsville. Ive never had a bad experience there, and its cheap enough to go often. Its usually busy, but thats what youd expect of a great restaurant.

My #1 place for Vietnamese. The Shakey beef is awesome, sooo tender and full of flavor. The pho is pho-nominal. You really cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

We dropped in one day for lunch. We arrived slightly before noon and were quickly seated. There does seem to be a lot of hype about this restaurant. It doesnt look like much but I found the service and staff quick and friendly. It was busy for lunch that day and kitchen service was quick. I found the chicken pho not great but good. The spring rolls were a bit sticky likely being made earlier in the day. The sauces that came with the meal along with the herbs/sprouts were spot on and super fresh. The claypot shrimp was also good but not great. Condiments provided on the table were numerous and cared for daily. The atmosphere is crowded and a little bit dark. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Id give this one another chance, if nothing else to explore the massive menu. Yuge! Urban Cowgill March 2024

There are a few pho restaurants in the surrounding area of Huntsville/Madison but none come close in comparison to quality of food, and service that this location provides. Viet Huong will always have my business.

This place was packed. My partner and I decided to take our food to-go. I got P-1. This was the first time ever I been to a pho place that makes their own bo vien meatball and serves cilantro in their side of veggie. I enjoyed it. I will be back.

This place is larger and more popular than Id thought. I took my son here for dinner, and we both enjoyed it. Service was quick, and the food was excellent. It was also very reasonably priced. I would suggest the taro Boba tea. It is next to the stars and strikes.

I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here for over 15 years. My only issue is the peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls. The sauce used to be thick and had crushed peanuts on top. Now its very watery. I would prefer having 1 sauce ramiken for each roll vs 1 fir 2 rolls. Like it cant be that costly! It would also be nice if the persons that take orders and payments be a tad be more patient and nice, as they always appear to be rushing you and are annoyed. Its in their attitude and tone. Otherwise, from those stated...this is an awesome place to get great food.

I love this place; I have eaten Pho in multiple states and Viet Huong gets it right! Savory broth, noodles to perfection. And their spring rolls help me, please. I typically carry out and the Pho broth is still piping hot. Eat in and enjoy prompt service in a clean environment. The wait staff are typically good with interaction and attentive. Like I said, I this place.

This is my favorite restaurant!

I ve been to this restaurant three times, and each visit has been an amazing experience. I typically order the seafood clay pot, which has a great amount of food for a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, the service is exceptional. The environment is also pleasant, perfect for date nights or small gatherings. The menu pricing is also very good, and there are many options suitable for many different diets. I will absolutely be going here many more times in the future, I love this place.

Despite the bum rush at 11:00 for lunch, they managed to handle the service fairly well. Food is relatively quick and was very good. The selection can be a bit overwhelming. Highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee.

This place is magical. I come here for dinner and get their Shaken Beef and Papaya Salad almost every time Im in Huntsville. The food is consistently delicious. The service is fast (for groups of 2-4). Their array of sauce at the table transforms me back to my grandmas.

Have heard so many positive things about this restaurant so I finally went to see what all the hype was about and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! The food is absolutely amazing and theres such a wide range of food options and drink options. The staff checked up on us frequently. The line wasn t long and the inside environment was a steady, comforting air. Will definitely come back!

This place is always crowded with lots of people waiting for lunch the last few times my wife and I visited. The good news is that its worth the wait and moves quickly. I have the various Pho starting at P1 and working my way down the list. My wife has the chicken Clay Pot. Both are always exceptional. Service is fantastic. A sign of a well trained staff by the management. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

This is a popular Vietnamese restaurant. They have a pretty big menu and it had been on my list of places to visit for quite awhile. I was not disappointed. I got their clay pot chicken and rice and a Thai Iced tea. The clay pot was a new one to me, but it was very good. The hot clay pot makes the rice a bit crunchy around the edges. It was unique and good. I look forward to visiting again and trying their pho. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that they had an 89 posted as their health score. I like seeing those above 90.

Our waitress was outstanding. Rushing around like a one arm paper hanger, but our food came out in reasonable amount of time and was hot.

The food was good, but the vibe wasnt as good as I remembered it six years ago when I lived in Huntsville. I think that overall, Viet Cuisine has better food, the people are friendlier, and the vibe is much better. It didnt help that I was sat next to a table with three people (I believe it was a father, a daughter, and a son) who were acting out and being disruptive.

10 out 10 I do recommend. It was so nice, we ate there twice went Monday to celebrate a special occasion and were back again Friday. I don t know if I love the food more or our server. We had the same server and he even remembered exactly what we ordered. The food was so delicious and comforting. It s fresh and very flavorful. My son loves the taro boba! Give them a try!

Some of the BEST food Ive had, hands down!! The best part about this place was the vegan/vegetarian options!! I had vegetarian spring rolls for my appetizer and the tofu and vegetable clay pot for my entree!! AMAZING

Amazing clay pots!!

We went here to get some starter last week and really enjoyed the fried egg roll. Came back to have a proper lunch, and the food is great again. We ordered a clay pot and fried noodles. The food is really good and the service was quick. Would love to go back to try more dishes.

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Huntsville right now. They get super busy during lunch, but the food is worth it. I normally get the pho. The portion sizes are quite large and the prices are reasonable. The pho is some of the best pho I have had in the States. The service is pretty good for the most part.

Seriously one of the best Vietnamese r restaurants Ive ever been to. Their wonton soup is unique and delicious. The crispy noodle dishes are fantastic, that sauce is super yummy. Their clay pots are crispy and flavorful. And the staff are great. 10/10 would recommend :)

Seemed like a busy place but they got our order wrong, the waiter did replace one of the dishes, but later we found they got the other dishes wrong too. Was tired to keep asking. The whole thing took a while. Didnt feel we really enjoyed the dinner, the place was kind of dark and the AC was really cold, but I guess the food wasnt too bad. There were some vegetarian options.

Best pho in huntsville

We dined this evening and was very pleased! I ordered the Beef/meatball Pho, it was savory and beef/meatballs were tender. Hubby ordered the special fried rice noodles with vegetables and all meats/shrimp. He ate the entire dish! The iced Thai tea was refreshing. Food was served quickly and hot.

Good food. Have eaten here since it opened. All the normal ups and downs of any restaurant, but the staff has always been friendly, and the food good. Reasonably priced.

Great pho and spring rolls

This place has been one of my favorites for a long time. The food is always amazing and the service is great! I always either get a clay pot or the pho and both are exceptional! I also would recommend the spring rolls, crabmeat Rangoon, and I know it seems weird to get at a Vietnamese restaurant but the wings are actually amazing too. I love this place and definitely don t go enough but whenever I don t know what to eat I can always count on Viet Huong to give me great food!
