Waiting ++ despite reservation. Lukewarm, dry and hard food. Condiments delivered drop by drop on request. Server almost absent. Kirkland brand green tea at $3.25. Restaurant that is absolutely not worth its price.

Magic. To be honest, I didnt think to take a photo of the dessert because I couldnt wait to put it in my mouth. Everything was REALLY of impeccable quality, both the service and each dish ordered. Its really a beautiful place with a smiling and efficient team, all with quality food. Its worth the price.

Dinner for a birthday with gift card... gift card refused.... system not functional... no discount... no excuses we had to pay for the birthday partys dinner. My beef rib au jus ended up being beef rib in the pan.... neither for a gift card, nor for my meal... the manager never came to see us despite my request... quite ordinary for a manager... Very big disappointment... FINISH Baton Rouge!!!!

Excellent, good service, good food

Everything was great EXCEPT the garlic and lobster bread au gratin at $21, five small slices of soft bread that didnt taste like garlic at all with microscopic pieces of lobster. A real scam, it was worth $3 maximum! But otherwise the rest of the meal was really excellent flank steak and delicious lobster tail. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere at the bar was really good. The price of a cocktail was slightly higher than average ($18) but it was good.

When we order our plate, the waitress doesnt ask if we want fries, vegetables or a loaded potato, a lack on that side. Forget to ask us if we wanted a sauce with our flank steak.

Excellent geographical compromise between Montreal and St-Michel des Saints. Very varied menu, very good service from Sylvie (lunch), tasty and well presented food. Birthday celebrated by the waitress without even being asked.

The frying on the chicken tenders was moldy and the waiter did not take my remark seriously when I told him that we had to throw away the breadcrumbs, he said to me: it must be the Spices. The gnocchi are delicious, good service, average dining room atmosphere, chocolate cake dessert had a little taste that I didnt like, but in short its worth the detour at least its up to you to experience it.

Very overrated and overpriced. I went all out for the pleasure of a great meal. I did end up paying the price of a great meal but for very mediocre food. Cant say that i hadnt been warned but I decided to risk it and make my own opinion. The best thing about the food I got was the Ceasar salad. It was good, it was an authentic Ceasar salad, not the one with the cheap creamy dressing everyone calls a Ceasar salad these days. I had grilled octopus, which was good. But my main course... Yish... I had filet mignon brûlé which is a filet mignon with a melted cheese on top. I was curious! Very meh combination i thought. I asked for medium rare, i got bluuuee, very very blue. My friend asked for medium, he got blue too. The waitress (who was nice and very frequently at our table) did ask if we were satisfied with the cooking but... What do you want me to say, Im Canadian, Im overly polite, i did not complain. My bad really, thats on me. But its still mind boggling that they could get it so wrong! Then what can I say about the vegetables that were in my plate... Hum... It reminded me of working at the hospital. Boiled, plain (i mean no seasoning what so ever) and just all the cheapest kind. Hospital cafeteria side dishes... I think that was what killed my fun the most. I had said yes to the extra mushrooms. It was alright but they charge you extra for a mountain of ok sauteed mushrooms that should have been the basic veggies in your very expensive plate. Mashed potatoes were plain and i felt sorry that i could make better ones cause I do not consider myself very good at it. My bill was as expected: $$$$ but for one of my worst food experience i have ever had. I do feel bitter hence HAD to express myself here. Luckily I had wine to swallow this experience because my enthusiasm for a great meal was shattered into pieces and I felt robbed by a very popular scammer.

Really mediocre as a dry and cold shrimp meal with no flavor. Baked potato supposedly gratinated and unmelted, lukewarm cheese was my first and last visit.

Jaime bien aller au Bâton Rouge en général. Jy prends souvent un filet mignon. J ai trouvé quil était petit. Il me semble quil est plus gros que ça à lautre Bâton Rouge que je vais habituellement. Aussi, javais pris une salade César en entrée. Javais limpression que la sauce César était dilué à leau. Moins bonne quà lhabitude.

Magnificent dinner that we had, me, my wife and our son. Great atmosphere and service and very comfortable. The food was also very good. For all that, on the payment terminal and the tip percentage choices displayed, I left an excellent 18% tip on a total bill of $199. BUT !!!!! I dont like your way of offering us percentages on the TOTAL amount of the invoice and not on the amount before tax. Everything is already very expensive, so..... Dont set your sights on your customers. Already giving this tip is very kind of us, but paying tips on top of taxes doesnt help me digest.... My monetary experience tells me that I will not return soon to your restaurant or other Baton Rouge to spend so much with these exaggerations.

We are regulars at Baton Rouge restaurants and I must admit that this one is truly WoW food, incredible cleanliness, great service from Geneviève!!! Too bad our Baton Rouge restaurants on the South Shore of Montreal are not like the one in Joliette!!! Well done to the owner of this one keep up the great work

I brought my 25 year old son with me after a big day of moving. The squid starter was my best experience ever, cooked perfectly like musmollow and seasoned perfectly. I made Alex taste a beer from the alchemist, the Bock de Joliette. He loved it! we had the full rack and chicken breast combo....strong, in the end half a portion would have been perfect. Twice Ive been there and not disappointed.

Always good but the prices (like elsewhere) are starting to be too expensive 75 dollars for 2 sides and 2 coffees, no starter, no dessert and even fewer drinks. We go there less often. We want to encourage, but unfortunately inflation affects everyone

As an American, I can say this restaurant really caters to its customers more than most restaurants Ive ever been to. For a predominantly French speaking area, they still provided service in english and everything worked out great. The drinks are amazing, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was outstanding. There are tvs all around if you have a sports game on that night. Best part is the owner would stop by and greet you as if youve been a regular customer for years. The rich history of Baton Rouge really shows itself to be true at the Joliette location in Quebec! If I could give 6 stars I would!
