Super cute atmosphere, what looks like an old converted home so the space feels intimate. Shared the burger and the fish and chips with a friend. Both really good and tasty, though I wish there was more fish. The fries tasted home made and had a nice crisp and flavor and you could choose a variety of flavored mayo, has the curry mayo and mayo fines herbes and it was perfect! Price was good too.
First time at this location. We were promptly seated but had to move outside as the clamour inside was deafening. Inside is no place to have a civil conversation. We found seating on the surrounding porch, but light was fading, lighting was poor to non-existent, and there were no heaters. The food, although reasonably good, took forever to come and was a bit pricey for the fare. We hastily ate, and I was glad to leave. The waiter/waitress were both pleasant and courteous - albeit, one a bit too chatty with some other patrons - could this be why our order took forever? We won't return.
Great beer, the NEIPA is so good, good enough for me to grab cans to go. The service was really good, server was very knowledgeable about beer and knew how to describe each type very well. I only had fries for nibbles, the curry dip sauce was very tasty. Vibe is so good, the place has alot of indoor and outdoor space, outdoor surrounded by green and shaded areas. The town is calm and clean, easy to find parking.
Nice ambiance, beers are really good (had an IPA and an amber ale), waiter was helpful and kind (the rest of the staff also). Can't remember the name of the food I had, but it tasted so good, like it was granma made, yummy.

This is a great spot in downtown Joliet. Awesome atmosphere especially in the outside patio. Our server Christopher was very accommodating. He had a lot of tables and worked very hard. The appetizers were very tasty. Our entrees of Beef Cheek and Tofu we're awesome! Would highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be back on next visit! Edit: We are back in Joliette and had dinner here on Sunday night. We had an awesome server named Laurie. She was very accommodating and very efficient. We had smoked salmon salad add fish and chips. They were both excellent. The fish and chips presentation was one we had never seen. The fish was on skewers and the accompanying salad was magnificent. Again we highly recommend this place and if you are lucky enough to go there hopefully Laurie will be your server!
Great find with microbrew from the Joliette region! The waiter was very nice and provided us free samples of the different kinds of beer. The portions were huge. The best was the mac and cheese with age old cheddar. The chicken pita, fish and chips and burger were also good. Fish could have been more crunchy. Service at the end was slower but also due to more clients.

They have narrowed the menu, reduced the portions and raised the prices!! Too bad, because that means I almost couldnt!
We waited almost two hours before having our meals even though we mentioned being in a hurry due to an event, to which we were told that we would be on time because we would be served quickly... In the end , we had to eat in 12 minutes and arrived late to our event. The waiter didnt even apologize for the long wait. An apology would have been the least we could do. Its a shame, because the food was really excellent and the atmosphere was nice.
Albion... ah... it was pleasant before you brought children into your establishment! It has no place in a bar... the atmosphere is completely destroyed, the service is very good despite the wait but its worth it with the best beer in Lanaudière! Its long but its understandable: its rarely empty! Food is way too expensive... I shouldnt have to remortgage my house for poutine! Besides, I dont eat anything there anymore, not even the nachos or poutines... You can easily make your profits and sell fast food for a reasonable price! In short, nothing negative to say except: - The atmosphere ruined since it was family; - Its no longer a bar and an experience; its a boring family restaurant, the music doesnt play as loud as before...; - Too much food! It should remain a beer tasting experience, not a restaurant with an overpriced menu and kids everywhere! Just a simple little bar menu thats massive! - Exaggerated prices. I believe that the Albion is moving away from its roots, in search of profit by making family cars instead of the strength that the Albion had before!

These comments were submitted to the place in question on October 9 and no response from them. Hello, I submit my comments to you before publishing on GOOGLE. Firstly, a nice location, warm, average price. The fish and chip pieces are too small, they are not whole pieces, the price is too high compared to most places where they are whole pieces. When it comes to reading the menus, the writing is too small and the lack of lighting doesnt help. We asked our waitress to help us but she told us that she doesnt know any beer!!! My brother decides to go see someone so they can give him a beer menu. We bought a PRESTIGE BOX and when we spoke about it with the waitress, we seemed to speak Chinese. After several minutes, we agreed to simply order. She ends up coming back with the information, I tell her it seems complicated and Ill just order it. I found myself with a PRESTIGE BOX that I couldnt use... It may be new but I would have liked someone with knowledge of beers to come and take over. THANKS

The best.
Favorite in downtown Joliette, unbeatable value for money. The back terrace in summer is magnificent. The food is excellent and the menu varied. The beers are good. We have been there several times and will return again. The service is sometimes spotty but never bad. All in all, a good place to come and have a drink and a bite to eat in a lovely atmosphere. Parking: Downtown Joliette = paid parking most of the time
A legendary place in Joliette, with their good beers and certain dishes that are worth the detour. The place is festive with the terrace and the aura of the place has long been recognized for this unique atmosphere, with this old house.
We won a gift certificate at the Ste-Émélie campsite and we came for dinner last Friday. Wow wow and wow! Everything was perfect there were 4 of us and clearly this place will be one of our favorite restaurants to visit regularly. Despite the crowds, the staff were smiling and seemed in perfect control of the situation. We all greatly enjoyed the meal and the beer obviously

A very beautiful place. We arrived as a group of 8 without reservation. The restaurant was full and they managed to make a corner for us and still serve us. The service was good and quite quick considering the restaurant was full. The food was good too. I found the starters more distinguished and better than the main courses, but pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We will definitely come back!

Roofing work in progress: The shingle will be removed to replace it with standing seam sheet metal, which will recall the original architecture of our century-old building (construction 1908). It was the residence of notary Simon-Alfred Lavallée at the time and was designed by architect Alphonse Durand. Moreover, if you walk in the heart of Joliette on Boulevard Manseau, you will also be able to admire several other residences which were built by the same architect.

The waitresses are very nice and friendly. Good service...fast Food.... Cauliflower tempera was undercooked and Caesar salad didnt have enough sauce. Affordable price for this type of food... Music a little too loud on the terrace...we couldnt hear each other speak Ideal for a student outing Parking: There is parking opposite, but when it is full, you have to find parking on the street....not always easy

I was eaten there with my friend for my party! Excellent welcome, fast table service! Magnificent rear terrace! Very beautiful and significantly varied menu! The waitress had not sent the order correctly into the system and carried it out afterwards. She came to inform us, which I find very diplomatic! I asked if we could have one come in through the house given the wait, she said no. That it was going to happen quickly.... Which wasnt exactly the case. I had the smoked salmon bagel. I loved it and also the fact that you can have half fries, half salad! My friend was suggested the duck leg... It s a dish that leaves you hungry! The presentation is worthy of a great gourmet restaurant, which means beautiful presentation but very little food for the price of $34! 1/2 carrot, with a thigh and sauce with a small portion of layered potato.. The sauce is tasty although very salty. We thought it was a pub version of thigh, and not a big chic restaurant! You know better! We advised that it was my party and they offered......NOTHING. Not even a dessert or a song. My friend wanted to offer me a cake from the two choices, either cheesecake or chocolate. She returns after a short delay to inform us that they have more. Just leave the cheese... Quite sad when youre celebrating and spending $95 together! Elsewhere, I would have been entitled to nice attention, but not here! I would definitely go back there! The food and beer is delicious, but Im still disappointed!

We found it there quite by chance after a round of golf in the region. Without remembering that we were in the St. Johns Day festivities. Obviously, festive atmosphere around the place which is very well located. Brasserie menu but very well prepared with nice touches around the dips and other sauces. It s a microbrewery, so beers. Superb choice with trendy beers but a nice traditional red too. More than exemplary service, it seems like the gang all own the place and care about it. The portions are good except perhaps for the fish & chips which in my opinion deserves a third piece. But no complaints about the taste or anything. Everything is served in the appropriate glass. They have experience.
We sat on the terrace at the end of the afternoon for refreshments this Sunday, then, as the place was pleasant and the dishes we saw passing by looked appetizing and smelled good, we decided to eat there. Also. We did well. Simple, efficient and courteous service which never gives the impression of formulas learned by heart. Our waitress even made sure we didnt get any rain after changing tables under the approaching threatening sky. Grilled tofu salad for my partner, beef cheek for me, the dishes were well done, original and tasty. Chocolate-hazelnut tartlet and long espresso for dessert, both very good. Around $100 tax included including two beers and two glasses of wine, nothing to say, were happy when its nice, good and served with unfeigned kindness. We will return with pleasure.

Unlike last summer when we went to this place and recommended it to friends, it was a big disappointment this time regarding the meal.... soft and blackened fries, service a little long. There was a show in the room next door and we could hear the music very clearly from our side which affected the atmosphere in our room... but the beer is always good...
My recent foray into the Albion restaurant proved to be a most enjoyable experience, combining exquisite flavors and captivating ambiance, in the heart of an elegant setting. I enjoyed the Classic Burger, a wise choice which seduced my taste buds with its deliciously cooked meat and crispy bread, enhanced by the subtle notes of onions and pickles. Accompanying this feast, the Rum and Coke delighted my senses with its refined flavor and perfect balance, adding a touch of sophistication to my gastronomic experience. Overall, the fries with herb mayo won over my palate with their crispy texture and exquisite taste, while the service, although slightly long, did not detract from the quality of the experience. The value for money proved to be satisfactory, and the atmosphere enlivened by a live music performance added a dimension of conviviality, although the volume was sometimes a tad excessive.

Vegetarian options: I had a tofu burger, I was skeptical when I ordered but it was really delicious. There are also several choices of snack or vegetarian dish. I recommend.

Beautiful square which reflects the heritage of the city. The food is fresh and local, most of it comes from producers around Joliette. And these said foods are very well prepared. The beer menu is very varied, we have a little bit of everything. however, I would have liked to see a safe beer there. For those that I tasted, they were great discoveries.
Disappointing experience for the price. The nachos were literally microwaved tostitos. The beer was good, but the meal was just okay. My friend had a quesadilla that was burnt. Extremely overpriced in our opinion.

Wow I dont go out often... but I loved this place. In addition, my friend introduced me to the game of darts. The food was excellent and good portion. The waiter was smiling, friendly and did his job. Nice large gallery at the back to go smoking. I recommend Beautiful evening. THANKS

Charming place, this restaurant is in a pretty ancestral house. A little noisy especially when there are groups. Interesting menu, my fish & chips was good and served with a mesclun salad with a delicious vinaigrette. My friends loved their nachos and onion soup. The Caesar salad was good but lacked a bit of chicken. All in all, a great experience... worth trying or returning to taste other dishes :)
