Food is always good. I had a cheese burger and must admit it had a reasonable size meatpatty. The poutine was ok but not quite enough sauce to my liking. My only disappointment, and it is a bummer, is that I had bought my godson 50$ of coupons so he could have lunch there every now and then from school. But, to my big disappointment, when it came time to pay with the coupons, the cashier wouldn't take the totality of the bill for payment. Luckily, I was there to pay for the tx part... I mean, I give these to a 12 years old so he can eat there from school. He doesn't carry cash with him... what gives! They should accept the coupons as payment for everything... at the end of the day, the cash will all balance out. Very disaponted for my godson!
Wish it would have been open though I ate there many times in the 70's but moved from there.I highly recommend the steak subs to die for.
These guys make a wicked poutine. The way it's supposed to taste. The fries are out of this world, savory gravy and fresh cheese curd. What could any one ask for more??. . . A burger, a giant king size burger that's perfectly browned pattie puts a whopper to shame. If you're in the area or from the little town of joliette it's a must !!

I ate a poutine...really not fresh cheese, so much so that I didnt eat it. Fries that taste like old oil, sauce too liquid and not very tasty. It was my first and last time! Really to be avoided.

Although the place is charming! The quality of the meats put in their sub is really cheap and not worth the price! I would be really embarrassed to serve a sub like this! The pepperoni are huge and they are not well roasted and there are barely 3 or 4 of them with a piece of steak that is not edible!

First visit to Restoroute. I wanted to try the poutine because some people said it was the best in Joliette. For me the sauce was a little too liquid for my taste and not that tasty. The fries are good and the cheese with small grains but in good quantity. The restaurant is clean and very busy during my visit.
Perfect I regret slm that its evening closes on Monday be careful not to pay by card but in cash to avoid paying more

I would say that for my experience today, I had a hamburger and poutine trio, the service was quite quick, the poutine was still good and a good size, however the meatball was a little overcooked, and even burnt. on the sides. But the taste was there.

Me and my mom went to order take out for dinner. Immediately upon entering, the music was loud. We ordered 3 steamed plain, 1 steamed all-dressed and 2 poutines. It took 35 minutes to get our order. When we got to my mothers house, we had 2 steamed ketchup, 2 steamed all-dressed and 2 poutines that didnt have a drop of sauce. And on the invoice, it was clearly written what we had requested. I will never return to Restoroute de Joliette again.

Large portions, expensive but not very tasty. A 12´´ sub for $20 to eat mainly salad and bread . Or a $10 double patty burger that doesn t taste much . While paying in a vacuum, the portions should be reduced but improved in terms of flavor! Like for example, making a Greek burger with at least tzatziki sauce instead of mayo just to have a reason to call it Greek. I dont recommend it for price versus quality.

I ordered 1 special roadside restaurant sub with poutine I ordered with door dash very fast service by tale the quality of food was not very good - my sub had large pieces of steak not very tender very tough - my poutine tasted like old oil, not changed for a very long time Very disappointed to have paid $50 for this quality of food.

How to criticize such a good potato. The food is excellent, always at the right temperature and in sufficient quantity. We dont wait very long to receive our order. It is recommended, if you are not eating on site (the decor is really not great but the place is always clean) to have your order prepared and it will be given to you quickly and courteously. Very good value for money.

Good little restaurant whether on site or for takeout, the formats are quite large whether its submarine, poutine, burger, everything is quite large, we eat our fill. The place is old, but clean and the staff very courteous.

A gang of lost people... Theyre all mixed up! Plus, its not nearly expensive and its impossible to pay by credit card. They live in the old days. The staff is not very courteous. No thanks or have a nice day. They make lots of mistakes and blame it on you when its theirs. I have never had such a bad experience in a restaurant. Ill never come back here again, thats for sure!

I repeat my message, things have changed a lot in the last 5 years... Its really not the way it used to be. Its still not worse but nothing more. Ordinary fries, cheeseburger no worse... the special sub is still excellent as is the smoked meat! As for the courtesy and good humor of the staff one wonders if they like their job but hey, I imagine that this is the new post-pandemic reality

Boulette de hamburger brûlée et poutine température pièce presque froide . Et le prix de la bouffe est abhérent . 0 étoiles sérieux nallé pas la, il y a mieux ailleurs pour un meilleur prix je vous le garantie .
