Chilled bar with great vibes. Food and service was great. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
This place keeps disappointing me. It used to be my favourite bar/restaurant. Now it’s overpriced. I paid nearly $10 for 5 onion ring. I luckily the 2 hairs I found in them were not an extra! The beer is good, but there is better, especially for the price. There is nothing special about this place anymore. Even the outside area feels weird and crammed, though not nearly as bad as the inside.
One time in november, i couldnt read the menu, so I asked the waitress to give me the most delicious food. But she gave me fish and noodles.Very disappointing.nothing special Next time i ordered smoked meat with dijan. It was very very unpleasant. It had too much dijan. It was my fault i was not familiar with their dishes. They don't have english menu Their menu doesn't have photos. You don't know what you will get. The waitress explains but you will feel more lost , of course just If you are not a pure french or québécoi. If you dont know the dishes in Québec please please please don't go there. You will feel very upset. They even gave me free drink thats why i give them two star rather than one. Everything else was very good.
They have good beers. Staff is friendly but food menu isn't great. 5 onion rings for 9.00 CAD doesn't sound fair. And unfortunately there was a hair in my order, apart from that, everything is great.
Our waiter was chit chatting with a girl and her mom most of the time while the restaurant was packed. He dropped his mask a couple times while talking to us. We waited extremely long just for our beer, then longer for our food. I had the mac and cheese, I was excited that it sounded like one of my favorites back home, one with jalapeño peppers - but instead I got a pretty flavorless Mac and cheese on top of which they dumped some banana hot peppers from a jar, it seems. My friends also weren't impressed by their dishes.
Very great service, the beer is Ok depending if you experienced other breweries. Ambiance is pretty on point if you like it groovy. Would go back
Stopped by for lunch on the way to Tadoussac and was very impressed. We had the Burger du Brasseur, topped with 1 year aged Perron cheddar. It was fantastic and went very nicely with their Juicy Pale Ale (available on tap here only) which is a flavourful 4.9% ale with a pronounced tropical fruit nose. Delicious!
You must eat here. The chef has created tasty entrees with the beer for delicious meals. Alexandre was an amazing server. A hidden gem with a great patio. A busy and bustling place, obviously a local hub. I can attest that it came to me highly recommended as well. Come see for yourself! My meal is teriyaki beef salad.
Great evening, I made new friends!! I ate the flank steak rare, it was perfect... Their beers are good, their waitress is beautiful!!
$22 for a mini nachos where 2/3 of the chips have no toppings and the rest have about the equivalent of a tablespoon of stock on them . I dont usually leave comments, but I find it sad to be charged such an amount for a handful of chips and a little cheese. We are far from the iconic nachos of the VM

Good microbrewery. My favorite dish is the duck confit salad, with a pure-wool, beer brewed with maple . Minors are admitted provided they do not drink alcohol. They brew beer without alcohol. Thanks to the blondin for its pepper and maple spice.
Beautiful place and very good service from Michaël! The atmosphere wasnt bad but I would have preferred the terrace if the temperature had been warmer! Everything was very good although the tacos seemed a little dry and broke while eating them... I had to finish my meal with a fork... The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious and the nachos were super well garnished.. . We loved the beers!!! Very tasty and refreshing! The little raspberry mocktail didnt leave me indifferent either when my friend made me taste it...
First time at Voie Maltée and I would definitely return if Im in the area in the future. Lots of beers, great variety of food and wonderful service.
Fish and chips: super fish and fries, even ordinary. Served with a nice fresh salad. Very good service, fast and Guillaume is on the lookout for the customer.
Michael Ottereyes is a machine, he does a lot of jokes and he is always happy, I see them often and he is the best

I ordered the brisket burger with a double rum & coke. The oil on the fries was too old. The burger could have been better prepared, cold and cheese not melted, but above all the worst thing was that I got food poisoning and that was the only thing I ate of the day. $50 for being sick. The atmosphere was ruined by someone who decided that rush hour was the best time to do drill. I dont remember hearing any music. The service was okay.

Excellent service The mussels are really good - much better than elsewhere. The only downside is that it is often cool - cold in the dining room. I recommend!
The service was perfect and so was the meal. I had the surf and everything poutine with an apple cider and I enjoyed it. Its the best poutine Ive ever eaten! They also make their own beer which is absolutely delicious. We loved our experience and we highly recommend this microbrewery whether to eat or simply have a drink. We will definitely come back!

The meals are very good and the beer is also excellent except for the price which is very expensive. And too bad, but they stopped the tartare starters, which for me was the right amount to feel good after drinking a pint or two. Otherwise its correct. Parking: Very nice parking space.

Unfortunately the meals are overpriced, around 20 to 40% more expensive than in other comparable places, too salty but sufficiently proportioned. The waiter offers the minimum service and the Gigonne is the flattest and most untasty oatmeal stout that I have tasted in Quebec, although I see quite a few. Im over it and sad because some of their beer is very good but the brand takes advantage of its unique position in the region to push prices.
Group of 30 people. No set up, dirty table, cold and rather cheap food for a very high price.
$40 for poutine and a non-alcoholic beer is excessive in my opinion.

The food is delicious, the staff is super nice! Always very pleasant to visit them both inside and on their terrace! My favorite dish is nachos or tartare and my drinks are Mario Bross and Bloody VM!

Each time I visit, I am always satisfied with the beers and the menu. I havent found anything negative yet. The entire menu that I was able to taste is on point and the beers are also excellent. Never disappointed.

We stopped in the afternoon, although it was full we were given the opportunity to have a drink! Very courteous welcome, the cocktails are extraordinary!!! We were brought some appetizers, we will definitely go again!!

We had a lovely evening, me and my girlfriend. Little mood show featuring Dave Gaudet for $15 We were seated on the stage 2 meters from the performers. We shared the surf n stout poutine (good) and Rogers club (It was the waiters suggestion...I expected better and something more juicy, but it was still good without more. I would have been just as satisfied with an original club). The surprise of the evening was the spoiled-rotten beer. Its worth a try if you like discovering new products. I actually bought some at the local convenience store. I recommend the spot to anyone who wants to eat and drink well in a relaxed atmosphere. Brewery offering a wide choice of beers, exceptional natural beers like the Gâtée pourrie (smoothie beer) to absolutely taste!! Our server was very friendly. We tried the burgers which were delicious.

We visited three breweries in this city and I think this is the best. The food is magnificent! The beer is delicious!!!
Excellent food. Good atmosphere. Courteous and smiling staff. Very busy. The micro-brewed beer is A+. But, prepare to receive a good bill! 5 years later I removed a star, me and everyone I know find that the beer has been much worse for some time.
The beer is good but for the mac & cheese brisket a single thin 2 inch by 3 inch slice of meat on top is disappointing.

Great place with good beers and very nice and friendly waitresses, there were 5 of us (with 3 children) everyone ate and drank well! The waitress who served us is called Carolanne I think! Anyway, if you are in the region like us, this microbrewery is worth the detour!
Slowest service Ive had in my life. We arrived at 5:45 p.m., there wasnt much traffic. We left at 8:40 p.m. A rotation of two couples had time to eat, drink and pay at the next table before we got our food. We have 0 service in the meantime, neither for water nor for ordering more alcohol. and honestly, the beer really isnt anything special. Really disappointed.
Food and beer very good, but the service left something to be desired.. The waiter had a lot of difficulty organizing himself and systematically forgot our order. Also had difficulty describing the beers and the menu. Very friendly but needs training.
Very nice experience, the bartenders listen and ensure the well-being of each of their customers. The food is on point. I will definitely go back there and I recommend it to you too!
