Do not stay here. Sleep in your car, or a ditch or a drunk tank. We reserved 3 rooms, all were disgusting. Old smelly carpet, the flat sheets (no fitted sheets) were so threadbare that you could see right through them. 2 rooms had a musty smell, the other had a perfume smell like they were trying to cover up the fact that someone had been smoking in there. I would have said that I've slept on more comfortable sidewalks, but the rooms were so gross we left 15 minutes after arrival and have demanded a full refund.
Underrated motel, the rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. Good place to rest

We booked this Motel by price and convenient location for our plans in Jonquiere. We were nicely surprised by the comfortable room and the obvious cleanliness! Staff was very helpful and patient with our French. Convenient to have an attached restaurant so breakfast was close by and a decent price. Wi-fi was good. Nice place to stay.
I originally booked a room here because 'Google' gave it as a pet-friendly option...it most certainly is NOT. The wonderful Receptionist at the desk, who seems to be the only English speaking employee there, was very helpful in finding another motel for me that was pet friendly!
Walk in to reception, bright and clean. Smell very clean and pleasant. Reception clerk very friendly.||||Stayed overnight, laminate floor, new bed sheets and covers, bathroom spotless.||No musty smell. Fresh paint. Clean un damaged furniture.||||Really an excellent place if you want just an overnight place to sleep.||Restaurant next door but note its closed on Sunday evening. No matter, many restaurants 5 minutes drive away.||||Free wifi and it works very well too.||Park your car in front of your room and access your room from outside or interior hallway.||||Well located near highway, easy access.||||Its no Waldorf but I'm impressed on how clean it is.
The rooms are pretty decent and its really convenient if you're visiting Jonquiere. The restaurant stays open till 9pm and serves good food. You get good value comsidering the price. Only problem might be the lack of English speaking personnel. If you don't know French you have to use google translate all the time. Come prepared.
The staff in this place was awesome. They treated me as if I was their friends, but not in a too familiar way. The room was very nice, and quite large for the price. My only complain is (and it's not the motel's fault, to be honest): Both the train station and the bus station are quite far by foot (around 25 minutes walking) I only had a backpack, so I managed, but for people with larger bags, a taxi ride is almost mandatory to get tho this motel.

Do not underestimate this establishment. Clean rooms, professional and courteous staff. I would come back 100 times and I recommend to everyone, dont stop at the fact that its a motel. Very well placed for exploring Saguenay, central and wonderful location. Rooms: Very clean and renovated.

Rooms: We needed an accessibility room. They didn t have one but made adjustments to our room and got special equipment for the bathroom to meet our needs very well. The room was cleaned well daily during our almost two week stay. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable! Rooms

Too expensive for what is offered Rooms: Even if the carpets are removed the rooms are too expensive. I would have given $75 not $115

Firstly, even though the reception was closed due to lack of staff due to the pandemic, it was December 25 and I was going to arrive late, they made sure that I could collect my key when I arrived, for my stay. The same evening, I even had a call from management to ensure that I had retrieved my key without problem and that if I needed anything, to contact them. The next day morning, warmly welcomed by everyone staff, I went to the small restaurant of the motel La Vilaine. The lunch served with their homemade bread was delicious. I had a pleasant stay in a beautiful room, clean with everything you need, and this , at a very reasonable price. I will return there during my next visit to Saguenay, thats for sure. Thank you all.

No cold water on the tap. No recycling bin. We left a used washcloth on the shower curtain pole. But we sleep well, comfortable bed.

I love this place. For vacation this is my location.
I have to start by saying that the service was IMPECCABLE. The people at the reception were very smiling and helpful. On the other hand, this criticism is aimed at the Motel managers. It is unbelievable that this Motel offers NO cold water in the rooms. Be warned! I had to go buy 4L of water to fill the gap. Unfortunately, I would not return here even though I deal with Jonquière often. This problem MUST be resolved as soon as possible.
We all hear terrible sounds in the rooms and whats more, the highway is close, we can hear the vans going by quite loudly, the rooms are clean

The La Vilaine restaurant associated with the motel, makes the best lunches in town!!!! Quality, price, there is no better place. Their homemade Caramel is delicious!!!!! And the waitresses are incredibly kind and efficient! The 3 owners (3 Women ) do an exemplary job and to emphasize respect health measures more than anywhere else. I recommend this place very highly!

Quite okay, except that the internet is slow and not always stable and the walls are quite made of cardboard. We also hear quite loudly those who do not pay attention to others and who slam the doors of the central corridor.

Courteous staff but nothing more, clean room, very hard bed, faulty desk lamp, bathroom fan, very noisy when it stopped, the exterior door closed poorly, it was necessary to slam it several times with an infernal sound, the door to the room next to it #24 ours #20 the same so door slamming is quite frequent. Our room #20 was next to reception so we could hear everything that was happening. In room 24 they must have been smoking because at one point it smelled in our room in addition to having the smell of their bathroom which must have come from the fart pull ventilation . In short, during our stay in Chicoutimi the Princess WILL NOT be an option.

By calling the price was $86 returned on site $98... the waiter at the counter is crazy about his customers and doesnt even call the manager (whom I spoke to earlier) to check. It would be up to me to wait until the next day, postpone my departure and speak to the said manager! $100 for these rooms is no! Looking forward to never coming back again. Nb: airb and b has 3 1/2 at $80 in your area.

La propriétaire Louise nous a dit quil restait 2 chambres et a pris notre numéro de carte de crédit pour confirmer notre reservation pour 1 chambre. À notre arrivée il ny avait aucune réservation à notre nom et tout était complet. Tous les hôtels et motels étaient complets. Nous avons dû partager la chambre dun couple dami.

Correct value for money. The welcome from the people was very good. The people of Saguenay are really nice. As for the motel, the air conditioning was noisy and the bed was ordinary. Once again for the price it was honest!
