This is the second time that I have ordered plan based chicken and they give me real chicken. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Always good food here. Decent portions for the price. This location is rough inside. Cracked upholstery in the booths. Even when it appears to have been cleaned it gives the sense that its not entirely cared for, so you dont want to stay long if you are out for lunch with company. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options as well.

I visited this chain restaurant recently, and I wont be returning. The place was disgustingly filthy dirty floors, windows, walls, and even dust on the chairs. The wait for our food was ridiculously long, and it wasnt even worth it. After finally leaving, I was relieved to get some fresh air because the inside smelled strongly of fried food. It seems like their ventilation system barely works, making the whole experience unpleasant. Save your time and money, and avoid this place.

The restaurant is worn down and looks kinda gross tbh. Ive come here a couple times and there has never been 1 other customer in the restaurant - its always empty. The service I experienced yesterday was not friendly at all. The menu is diverse but unfortunately the food is Meh. I wont be returning.

Dont order the wonton soup... the soup broth looked like it came from a pot that hasnt been washed in 10 years. It was black and there was burnt bits in it. I dont trust the cleanliness of this business. The wontons themselves were also gross and very starchy. I didnt eat any of it after one bite. You can get better wonton soup out of a can.

Prioritizes online orders over people in restaurant. Would gladly have you wait 30 minutes while they fulfill door dash orders, AFTER they take your money. Awesome business!

The absolute slowest service in Kamloops. The cook is too busy worrying about everyone else rather than just cooking. Edit: Since I cant respond to the Response from owner. This was not a busy time, there was one other table of people, and they had their food shortly after we arrived. There were no online orders being filled, the cook was just standing around, joking with coworkers. There was zero effort being put into making sure everything is prepared in correct way. Average food, terrible service, greasy/griming table and seating area. I will not be back.

Healthy and yummy

Ordered the won ton soup combo. Egg rolls were really good, soup and everything other than the won tons were delicious. Won tons were literally like eating a glue stick. I ve never really had a won ton like that. Seriously figure it out.

Food is always good but this place needs an update and a major deep cleaning. Its gross.

I ordered a sumo sized Shanghai Cashew with Beef, Chow Mein noodles with 2 ginger soy eggs. Best meal Ive had in a long time! I would definately recommend!

Lemongrass shrimp rice bowl lunch was overpriced, skimpy on the shrimp and sauce was bitter. Noticed grimy and sticky surfaces. Blaring music made it difficult to place my order, kid couldnt understand me and I couldnt understand him. A shame, it used to be better here for a quick lunch.

Absolutely the worst experience at this wok box .. nobody in restaurant all tables were dirty but 1 , restaurant was filthy .. Food was horrible very little veggies in the chicken teriyaki meat tasted like a sponge.. ginger beef was so chewy and tasted like starch . Would highly recommend to eat at another establishment. Very disappointing

Needed a phone charge and energy charge and Wok Box came through.

Springrolls had barely any filling. Ordered the firecracker as vegan and didnt even ask what size I wanted or what protein I wanted, even though they have vegan protein options and its included in the price. Asked for veggies in my fried rice but all I got was carrot, peas and onion, I even said I wanted mushrooms and brocolli. Taste was not good, and noodles were watery. The samosas were ok at best. Wish I could get a refund.

I had a very nice experience. The kung pao chicken was very delicious. The chicken was very succulent and juicy. The ambience was very relaxing and fun. Also the staff is very friendly. Specially the sweet girl at the counter who was very helpful and understanding. 100% recommend to everyone.

Definitely one of my favorite places in town for a quick meal. The poutines are amazing. Try the Tokyo beef.

Had our food delivered. I asked for vegetables as my protein and added mushrooms. One piece of carrot and two pieces of brocolli with zero mushrooms. The entire box was noodles. Meh. Wont order from there again.

Had the Philly Cheesesteak Poutine. It was fabulous. Very surprised didnt expect it to be so good.

Food was good, ready for pickup in time and friendly helpful staff. Found out a while ago that owner takes all tips, including those in tip jar...so now I bring cash and hand it directly to the employee that made the food. Like the food but taking employee tips is shameful. Although reply indicates not the case, I have heard this directly from employees on more than one occasion

Walked in and drooled at the menu for 10 minutes before being told the ONLINE orders take priority over the walk in guests. A 45 minute wait for food with no-one in the store seemed odd. In my opinion, catering to walk in customers should come before online orders. Lots of woks . Why the prejudice?

I ordered the Vietnamese Pho, as I am sick and needed something that will bring me warmth and soup is the only thing I can swallow currently. When I got home to enjoy my Pho, I opened the container to find only noodles and beef layered on top with zero broth. As a joke my wife put the broth into a cup...... NEVER ORDER from this store! its a joke!

Very unimpressed with my experience ordering wings from Bawk Box. The family pack of fries were nothing more than a handful, the boneless wings were inconsistently sized (everything from full size wing to tiny piece of popcorn chicken), and a $7 pack of onion rings had about 5 tiny rings. Then when I called, the acting supervisor said there was nothing he could do about my complaint and thats how the wings came.

Great fresh hot food with delicious sauce! Recommend the Lemon grass tofu on hoikken noodles with vegetables or the Singapore cashew prawns on noodles with fresh vegetables.

Cute containers. Bang bang shrimp pretty good , nothing to write home about honestly. I also ordered the terryaki shrimp on chow mein. Its mediocre at best I think I found a whole 2 shrimp in the entire box. Definetely not worth the almost 30.00 bucks it cost. I wouldnt order the food again , well not this food. Boxes yes Its also a good thing I didnt unfold the box into a plate as I wouldve had all this runny watery liquid all over my work clothes

In person take out order on July 30/2021. Staff was friendly. I ordered Mongolian beef and broccoli and side of spring rolls and paid $19.93. The flavour was good, but the broccoli was so chewy that even after much chewing, it remained almost completely in one piece...every piece. Yes, I tried every piece and they were inedible. The spring rolls were mushy inside. I am disappointed in the food I received for the price I paid.

We ordered Korean bulgolgi and Shrimp dandan, along with a combo of spring rolls. Both meals were delicious and different from most chinese food take out normally served. Minor complaints: the takeout box fell apart, and as we were eating in a park, made a mess. The dandan could have used a few more shrimp, but for the price was what I expected. It would have been nice to see, instead of north American soda pop, some Asian choices like C2 or calimansi juice.

I used to love Work Box. Not anymore. The entire place is filthy. Like made me nauseous kind of filthy. My food was cooked in dirty oil and tasted like it. The only redeeming factor was that most of the staff was friendly.

Good Asian bowls, made with real fresh vegetables at prices that rival fast food stuff. Its a bit slow, since its freshly made, but not too much longer and worth the wait. And spicy is honest to goodness Asian spicy. I wish there were more of then around BC.

Mediocre noodle dishes. Tried the pad Thai, and firecracker dishes - sauces are generic with little distinguishing flavor. Might as well bought a jar of prepackaged sauce from the grocery store as it would have tasted better. One last thing was that all of our dishes had black burned bits in the stirfry - most likely because they didnt thoroughly clean the woks between dishes. Many better options in town.

I have eaten at all the Chinese food restaurants in KAMLOOPS and The Moon Wok is the Best place to eat at . It always fresh and hot! The dishes are always over flowing with great food! The service and the smiles are always there. Its always clean and well maintained. I give this resturant a 10+.

Asked to use the washroom and was told they were closed which was fine ... Until another customer proceeded to use the washroom. I recieved my order and walked back up when I realised I didnt have any utensils. They both looked at me standing there, the girl made eye contact and completely ignored me when I asked and made gestures and proceeded to call over the customers behind me at the pick up counter to take their order

You get what you pay for its not bad by any means but I feel like the value point isnt there

Always out of kimchi and soy eggs, but still good food. Order time seems to stretch longer every time, but hey they are very friendly!

I understand if there is struggle to keep up by limiting staff because of Covid-19 but this place has quite a bit of issues aside from being busy First off it s hotter inside than it is outside which is already unbearable, so if you re looking to get out of the heat this is not the place- their ventilation system does nothing but move around hot and moist air so all the walls and windows are muggy and it makes the place look unclean. And then they still charged me $12.99 for a dish that had no meat, something should be done there to alter according to what is ordered. I won t be going to this Wok Box again as I ve had the same expense issue at others.

Thisnplace has the best spring rolls and some awesome noodles recipees.

My main go-to items on this menu are the Pad Thai and the Bang Bang shrimp! So delicious!!! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the portion size. The vegetables are fresh, crispy and so good.

This was an absolute fail. I was visiting from out of town and had this delivered. It was the worst 25 Ive ever spend on an individual meal. It had a ridiculously low portion, and I didnt see any of the extra chicken that I had ordered. It was bland and just a waste of my time and money. Truth be told one would be better off having McDonalds than this tasteless food.

I love it a lot, I say its the best place to spend time with family, I would go there as much as I can.

Nice food, good price and as we are vegetarian it was an added bonus to be able to have tofu which is rare in Kamloops.

Got the meatless Monday deal after having to ask for it. Then I asked could I use my free drink coupon from the red fortune cookie promo. Told me no, could only use one or the other. Other wok boxes never said that to me, it was always a sure no problem. Then they never gave me fortune cookies with my meals. Went up and asked for them and the girl said no sorry were not handing them out, yet they have promo material displayed in store about it. Portions were much smaller then other wok boxes as well. This place was just pure garbage. Couldnt leave fast enough.

Appears the owner operates with short staff ( might need to in order to survive), however this impacts the turn around time. Also it appeared very disorganized in which orders are to be made first. Often you have about 6 groups of people hovering around the kitchen waiting for their food, gets pretty packed and awkward

While the food was edible, my pad Thai didn t taste anything like pad Thai. The delicate tamarind and lime flavours weee overpowers with a curry combination entirely unrelated to pad Thai. My husband s wonton soup had a strange (but different) flavour also. We didn t finish our meals and left.

My brown rice was VERY undercooked and super hard. I dont know how they cook it but obviously I couldnt chew or swallow it easily. It wasnt busy but we had to wait quite a while (about 25-30 minutes for two dishes). The girl who got orders were wearing plastic gloves at the till and even cooked with the same gloves on. I found thats a bit gross. And the place is pretty filthy. Tables and floor were sticky and messy.

Did not get my egg with my pad thai. Nice clean place and nice enough staff just no soy sauce eggs of joy which is my favortie part of wok box pad thai.

Great food, prepared quickly. Definitely much faster and tastier than I could do at home without a fair amount of practice. Heard two people complaining to each other about the prices, but I guess they havent spent $15 at Subway or Quiznos recently.

Paid 23$ for a veggy pad tai, drink and spring rolls. There was no brocollie as advertised and they did not give us the Tuesday 20% deal, they told us we had to ask for it.

Sure went downhill with new owners cheaping right out on everything they can the owner gave serving girl trouble for giving me another lime slice ..disgusting unprofessional behavior I wont go back

I ordered the tofu pad Thai and it had so much sauce that wasnt even pad Thai flavor. More of a Teriyaki type. The regular portion was tiny for 13$. I strongly dont recommend this place unless you enjoy having another dinner after you pay for one that didnt even taste good.

Went there and got pho, well their version of pho. Wasnt impressed with how it was made and the size was really small. My moms meal was good though. She didnt get pho.

Usually pretty good food.the wife and I went tonight and my cashew beef was so salty and had very little flavor. The wifes was the same and even the shrimp tempura was salty.our seating area seemed dirty with visible dust on the napkin dispenser. Not sure what changed but pretty sure we wont be back

I eat at Wok box regularly. I love the Singapore cashew, its just perfect, not too spicy, not too bland and with right amount of cashews. I also love Bang Bang Shrimp its the best tasting shrimp dish in town. They make everything fresh and serve hot use a lot of fresh ingredients.The staff is always friendly and helpful. The tall guy who works here does his job the best. Its more like a hangout place for me and my friends. Unlike other fast food chains this place is perfect for calorie conscious people like me. They have lots of parking and it is handicap accessible. Its kids friendly too. On lazy days I just order food through skip the dishes. I definitely recommend this place.

This is a popular Asian style take out restaurant I heard a lot about it so thought to give it a try. Great food - not authentic Chinese food but its delicious none the less. I can customize a dish of my own choice noodles or rice with veggies and choice of protein. Vegan friendly. The appetizers are really tasty. They also serve a small selection of alcoholic beverages. I found it reasonably priced. I would happily pay $12 for the healthy food here than spending $8 on a cheese burger with junk and empty calories. They use a delivery service with just tad few extra bucks (I worked as a delivery driver so I know delivering something needs extra money). I just love Dan Dan (spicy and tasty)
