Its always a pleasure going in there happy and lots of signs to read. And home cooked and belly is full leaving there. My #1 got to restaurant.

Quirky, kind of hole- in- the- wall place, but very good on all counts.

I went for breakfast this morning, this time with my sister, who I found out also frequents this establishment. Great breakfast, great servers and a very enjoyable experience.

I went to this restaurant 2 weeks ago with my 3 year old daughter to take her out for a breakfast date. We got there and it was busy. Waited at the front till and a younger lady told us the tables by the window were free. We pointed to confirm which tables and she nodded. Me and my daughter went and there was a 4 top and 2 top table pushed together so I pulled the 2 top away a little so they could still have the 4 top for someone else. After we sat down a lady with longer black hair came over and snapped at us asking why we were moving the tables and gave us attitude asking if someone said we could sit there. I said yes and pointed to the girl at the till. Lady with black hair then snapped at her too and yelled that the table is reserved and we couldnt sit there (no reserved signs or anything implying reserved). Me and my daughter got up and another lady pointed to another table that was apparently available. Decided to just take my daughter and leave, we went somewhere else. Usually we go there because the service is so great and friendly. Was super thrown off by how rude this waitress was to us. I sent an email asking the owner to contact us but they never did. Probably will not return.

Place was stupid busy on a Sunday. Got a table right away. Waitress was awesome. Could tell she was trying her best too make everyone happy. Food was very tasty. Dedinately a place too go. Cant wait for next time.

I love this Cafe since I started coming here. Great food, enjoy the happy staff and Kirstin thinks I am funny for wanting pancakes and progies I especially love their dinners like cabbage rolls or other special events Dietary restrictions: Im diabetic I should not eat my favourite progies or pancakes but I do so I have to take a lot of insulin Eat her pancakes they are marvelous

What a treasure I m so sad it isn t close to home. We sought out Kirsten s when passing through and were totally charmed. Yummy food, fun space, lots of regulars. Cute atmosphere very accommodating

What a fun place to go for breakfast or lunch. The decor is so much fun. The servers are cheerful and plentiful for the amount of customers and the food was plentiful and cooked well.

First time here, wish I lived closer! The HUGEST fluffiest pancakes I ve ever seen!!! Both servers were slammed busy but still laughing & everyone there was having a great time! I ll be back for sure!!

A small place in a little hole in the wall with the best food and the friendliest of service. My fiance and I love coming here for breakfast when we pass through Kamloops. The food portions are huge and you definitely get what you pay for. The staff are awesome and super friendly. We love coming through here

Super busy at 10 in the morning! I was there by myself looking for a quiet spot to do some computer work, and this was not the place for that. Lol. Super busy probably means really great food and service though! I was happy to go elsewhere. I ll be back though!

They raise their prices basically the owners keeping the tips for themselves lol $20 for bacon and eggs in a cup of coffee .. leaving basically zero room for a tip LOL 3 weeks ago was 1750 Im not tipping on a basic $20 bacon and egg breakfast.. at the end the waitresses lose out Ill pay 20 bucks for that breakfast and a cup of coffee its not to bad ..but its got to include the tip.. LOL steak and eggs is $20 plus coffee then the waitress makes 5 to 10 tip ..but on bacon?? Grind the customers in the waitresses or maybe theyll quit.. down here where I am theyre screaming for waitresses LOL with loudspeakers

I love this place. My husband and I live right around the corner so we are here often. The staff are always super friendly, and hard working. The food is excellent, and everything is home cooked. You get a decent amount at a fair price too.

Everything was great. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great. My wife and I got to witness how the servers treated a small boy feel special and made his visit very special . Preferred this place with the previous owner. This owner is ornery, and the waitress was rude in the true sense of the word.. You never actually see your bill. They never offer to show it to you. You just have to trust them I suppose. Food

Simply put, the best place to have breakfast in Kamloops. Out of the way, forgotten by the chains, they deliver a great meal with heart felt joy. Eclectic decor, committed regulars and lots of parking. Make sure you experience this hidden gem.

To, absolutely, die for homemade soups. Whatever meal you get, either get the soup as the side or get a secondary side to taste the magic.

What a great little place! I loved the service and atmosphere, the wait staff what so friendly! The signs on the wall add to the experience. Feels like you stepped right into a small town diner. The food was pretty decent, home-cooked idea. We will definitely go back.

It s a hideout of a place! Quaint lots to read on the walls! Love it. Don t expect gourmet expect homey and good food.

I had the Denver omelette with cheese and I was pleasantly surprised with the portion size which was very generous, we had a hard time finishing our potatoes and toast. I anticipate dining here again and again in the very near future.

Food comes out fast, service is excellent, they really make you feel welcome and at home. Food is always yummy and great price. Its our go to Sunday breakfast place now. Kid-friendliness: Books, games, big comfy chairs and blankets to go with them. Spiderman memorabilia everywhere.

Our regular go-to spot had a lineup we couldnt wait through. Found Kirstens Hideout and was not disappointed! No processed foods here. Truly home cooking! This is little place with a big heart

First time going to this little family run cafe. Its one of the great locals-only places in Kamloops. Really great value, great service and great food packed into a small spot in a forgotten old motel. Will definitely return! $14 for BLT and pile of homestyle fries $13 french toast, ham and eggs Parking: It is somewhat hidden, once you find it there is ample parking all in the motel area. Wheelchair accessibility: Should be accessible, direct access at same ground level into the restaurant.

We were traveling through Kamloops with a car full of hungry people, a quick google search landed us here. We will 100% come back again. The made me amazing gluten free French toast, the kids said it was the best breakfast, French toast and a massive pancake, they ve ever had in a restaurant and husband was thrilled with his eggs Benny. The service was quick & friendly! Actually, probably the happiest and friendliest server I ve come across in a very long time. I can t say enough good things about this little cafe!

This is a great place for breakfast. We were told its the locals favorite place for breakfast and I see why. Food was excellent. Portion size was perfect and my coffee cup was never empty. The servers were also very great. Super friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Had the pancake breakfast special. Was delicious. The pancakes were huge. Glad the wait staff mentioned how big the cakes were.. I was unable to eat the whole cake.. Loved the staff Dietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy, easily and professionally delt with my restriction Parking: When the motel gets busy parking can be at a premium.

I finally made it to Kristens Hideout for a meal, and it was fantastic! I had Eggs Blackstone. The eggs were PERFECTLY poached (whites cooked and yolk nice and runny), the homemade hashbrowns were lovely, and the service was outstanding! The atmosphere is very homey and the decor is awesome. I cant wait to go back ... maybe this time for lunch. Or an omelet. Or whatever the special of the day is. Or.... This is definitely not my last visit! Thank you, Kristin, for a terrific first experience.

We found Kristens via reviews like this one. You wont be disappointed .. unless of course dont like excellent home cooking or decent conversations. Patrons and staff alike bring this place to life. The walls are adorned with lifes facts. May not be your kind of place if truth is too bitter for your cup.

A decently priced breakfast, fast service and good portions. Ordered the skillet with sausage. Came with lots of veggies and plenty of cheese sauce, which I prefer. The service was good and food was served quickly after ordering. Compared to most places now the prices are below average and a good deal for what you get.

Friendly service, food arrived fast, no 20 minute wait times and it really had a down to earth small town vibe. Plus my kid liked all the SpiderMan decor :)

When we were leaving we commented to the owner that the place was great and asked about the place. Her response was Ive been here for 5 years and I love it! Well, it SHOWS!! The food was excellent and came out very fast, service was excellent and the place was very clean! We saw her cleaning tables etc, even though things were already clean! We will definately be back!!

Oh my GOOD GOD it was absolutely scrumptious! What a refreshing change to eat homemade food for a really decent price AND get friendly competent service from the owner herself! If you want to go back in time where under 20 dollars for a big plate of homemade dins diner style, fresh coffee and service with a smile Id really recommend this . All all day breaky if you work nights. Its licensed. And hours are 8am-2pm

Tucked in behind Canada s best value inn. A lil hard to find when you re not from the area, but WELL WORTH IT!!! Don t let the exterior mess with you. Many regulars and all known by the waitress. I had the Blackstone Benny. Fantastic. Bacon with fresh tomato instead of the ham. Very tasty. Soft poached eggs were perfect. Homemade hash browns. Girlfriend had Farmer sausage and basted eggs. Nailed it. Good coffee, great ambiance, jovial waitress. Lots of fun signs to read. Very enjoyable experience.

Hands down on me of the best cafes around town. I highly recommend ordering the cinnamon buns for 5$! You will not be let down. They are amazing huge portioned size of goodness! Along with rest of their menu at a reasonable price for homemade dinning. You cannot go wrong with this quiet place. You will feel right at home with the staff.
