Always good here

Food was warm, not hot.My wife sent hers back to get heated up. Service was spotty and rushed (the place was not busy at all).

The only thing Irish about this place is its name. Putting staff in tartan doesnt make it Irish. Why everywhere wants to mimic a small Atlantic island drinking establishment amazes me. Putting a shamrock in the window and selling Gunness doesnt make u Irish, the thing that makes a Irish bar is the Irish that u dont find out of Ireland

Took my family for dinner and the service was horrible food and waitress took forever to arrive she never stopped by at all and asked about the food or our drinks my side was a salad which consisted of lettuce and shredded carrots only when I went to to the bar to speak with a manager about my salad and asking if they could replace it with fries she said no problem but they when we got the bill she tried to sneak a $6 charge on there for the fries. Very disappointed 1st and last time we well be going there! Oh yeah when we asked about the size of the burgers our waitress compared them to McDonalds burgers lol

Amazing service and the food was absolutely remarkable!

Food is over priced and not very good, very poor quality. Dont get the Cali burger it really a chicken strip on a very dry bun worst I have ever had.

Got a prime rib dinner at like 11:30 at night on a Sat, was craming for an exam and hadnt eatin all day. My expectations were not high but alas it was excellent , bar tender even gave me a free dads rootbeer.. whatch out for all the old drunk losers and the teenage drunk drivers down town on weekends and youll be fine.... 3 years later : I did pass my exam. I am now a Journeyman Electrician. Credit is due to the bartender that gave me that free rootbeer while i waited for my food .. If he did not hand me that bottled pop .I would have most likely ordered Alchohol . I would have most likely lost my grip. Would not have passed my exam , and quite possibly not be here today.

Had such a great experience came in for the first time, got great service from our server Nathan! He was excellent, made the experience much more pleasant. Definitely coming back!

Kiayra is the best ever

I live in Manitoba and this is a must stop when I come to Kamloops! The pachos and chicken lips are amazing and I always take home a jar of sauce! I would have taken a picture of the Pachos but there isnt any left! Lol

Would not go back, not really enjoyable food.

My friends and I went there around 9 p.m. today. The attitude of the blonde server was horrible. She had an attitude from the beginning, right when we asked for a table for four. We weren t even there at the end of business hours, so I really dont know why she was so reluctant to serve us. Whenever she brought dishes or food, she made noise by slamming them on the table and left without saying anything. She didnt even ask basic questions like, Hows the food? or Do you need anything else? But whenever other servers or customers were around, her attitude softened. We all work in the food industry, so we understand that sometimes you have bad days or difficult customers. However, we didnt ask for anything difficult. In fact, we didn t even get enough forks for the number of people at our table, and she didn t serve us enough to have anything to complain about. The restaurant was pretty empty, so what was there to complain about? Im sorry to say, but she didnt deserve a good tip. If she dislikes serving particular customers, like us, so much, why is she even working there? We enjoyed the food tho, and we were really excited about eating at the restaurant before we dine-in. We wont be coming back unless she learns basic serving skills.

Had a birthday lunch, 15 people, food was really good and service was great.

I went to this establishment a couple of times and found the food to be okay but not exceptional. I never returned due to being called names because of my culture, which deeply affected me in terms of feeling degraded. They are very prejudiced people, which also includes the blonde bartender who works most Sundays and their regulars who actually sang a song on my way out of this establishment with regards to my culture on July 11,2021. Very hurtful !!! Bad evil people!!! I forgot to mention that the bartender made a comment about soccer players not being able to handle pain when l commented that those cleats are made of metal, plastic, and rubber which can actually hurt when he actually agreed. He shouldnt make comments like that while wearing a skirt that the Scottish call kilts. Another Scottish mentioned to my son that my culture cant play soccer when we beat more times than they beat us with the last time they won us was in 1980, which concludes that we are much better than they are in soccer. By the way, we will be playing them about three times because we are in the same group as them in two different ternaments, which l believe we will beat them again. My conclusion is that we shouldnt throw rocks at glass houses.

Food was good, service was great and the atmosphere is nice. The young man who served us was attentive and got everything right. He came back enough times to make sure we were looked after but not so much that he was annoying. The food was reasonably good, the only downside is that there is little to no vegan options for my wife. The atmosphere was good in that it was well lit but not bright, there was a lot of people but not super loud as some restaurants can be. All around a good experience and will hopefully be back again. Dietary restrictions: Little to none. My wife had to have salad and lattice fries instead of a meal as she is Lactose intolerant and gluten sensitive. Parking: It is located downtown and theres not a lot of street parking. But, if you are able there is a parkade a street above. Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu with activities on it and they give you crayons to do those activities. Wheelchair accessibility: Its a sort of steep incline to get in and out but most of the tables are on the same level.

Food was great, service good - just a query though when the male staff will be required to dress like the female staff. Rather behind the times management!

I am super disappointed in the food. The prices have gone up so much but the quality has gone down. Our pachos hardly had any cheese, and my husbands chicken burger was bland and boring. Not worth the price any more.

She had my wine cold and served in a chilled glass, necessary for white wine, she looked after us first class and it was very busy in the restaurant. The changes in the design in the last few years actually take away a bit from the traditional Irish Pub feel & the food while very good, does not stay as true as it did a few decades ago to the Irish feel either. Overall though, it is an excellent family restaurant & I would prefer if this site allowed the options to pick 4 & 1/3rd to 4 & 1/2 star for the other aspects.

Pachos are a family favourite. Great for family dining and parties. Some meals are a bit on the pricy side for what you get.

Been coming to this place for years and I absolutely love it. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great conflict resolution skills when the need arises. If I could rate higher then 5 I would. Strongly reccomend!

First time dining here, drink menu was great and the McCracken rolls were amazing as well as all the other apps we ordered during happy hour.

Just had dinner their tonight Sun.15 2023, we have eaten here a few times and the meal was good. To night the Prime Rib tasted like it was left over and reheated in the microwave burgers were cold cheese on the burger wasjust slapped on at the last minute not melted on, the patties were not fresh made, the fried dill pickle skins were so tough you could barley chew them the salad was wilted and gross. The Quesadillas were totally burnt around the edge.The only good thing i can say was the drinks,when you are spending over $200.00 for a meal you expect a whole lot better.

The service was good. Food was pretty good. I was pretty sad that the fat daddy burger was done away with on the menu. If you order the chicken for the taco salad, make sure you ask to have it seasoned. The stew was very good, as was the broccoli and bacon soup. Wouldnt recommend the prime rib philly, more cheese than beef. They did my Guinness proud though with a perfect pour.

Went to Kelly Os on Sunday afternoon with the family. I had butter chicken and Naan bread, it was DELICIOUS!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Our server was lovely! We will definitely go back when we are in Kamloops

Panchos were good, burger was ok but the wings were not great. I would think the wings were bought from the grocerie store frozen. Really sad because i am a wing person and this not close to pub wings.

We have eaten here twice and the food was delicious. However they lost a star on the drinks. Their version of a screwdriver was tasteless and the beer tasted watered down.

A little pricey for what you get... Ordered the grilled chicken burger for $23 and was quite bland and a lot of bun. Ordered a $12 French onion soup and was a little under whelming However everything was well cooked Received my bill and was charged $3.25 for 3 pieces of raw onion, however when I complained it was dropped to $1.25

Every time someone from outside of city visits, this is one place we have to take them. Whenever anyone who knows about this place visits Kamloops, they all is to bring them here. Why? Pachos. Im sure theres other good food here, but I dont care and neither I nor anyone I know had ever tried anything but pachos. I just love pachos and Emerald Isle dipping sauce. And Kelly OBryans makes them. Theyre inconsistent sometimes, but theyre always pachos. Service is awesome too. And chicken lips.

Me and my girlfriend stopped here for some food on our way to Banff from Scotland tonight, the staff were super friendly, the lovely ladies made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. The Guinness was great and the food even better. Excellent value for money. We had the prime rib and and the Guinness burger, both were delicious. Unfortunately not coming back through Kamloops or would be back for another pit stop

Had a fantastic night. Mitch was our server, cunning, entertaining and on top of his game. Dish after dish, he really pulled through, hot wings were fingerlicking good. Beef dip (Philly style) was to die for. Drinks (all doubles): very effective. And to top it all off, he recommended the espresso Icecream cake DELICIOUS

Its a normal Kelly O Brians. The staff is attentive and when its not busy its quite enjoyable, but as a general customers dont know how to talk at appropriate restaurant volume. You end up yelling just to hear the other end of conversations.

Mitch needs a raise. He is the best server in town. Highly attentive, super friendly and just a great guy. The food and beer are great too.

Food was way too salty

2 couples on Saturday the 9th. 3 ordered roast beef and 1 quesadilla. 4 Coronas and 2 glasses wine. The salted dry ribs were great, the quesadilla was ok. There it ends all the beef was cool not even warm. It was TOUGH AND STRINGY. As I was with friends we did not complain, the waitress was awesome. Net bill was $316.43 and you would think for an average of $80.00 per person you would get more than 25% happy. None of us will darken the doors again. VERY DISAPPOINTED

The noise level was pretty high for our liking, not sure if it was just the patrons trying to hear one another, so then they spoke louder? Not somewhere Id want to go to to have conversations with people because its so loud. We went for our sons birthday dinner, food was nothing outstanding, but it was okay. I know prices are going up everywhere, however my husband just paid for our meal without really looking at the receipt. I was going over it the other day and nearly freaked out when I saw that the Pachos we ordered for the 6 of us to share was just over $45(including tax) crikey, I wasnt very happy! We were charged $7 for Xtra cheese, and $9 for extra bacon. The normal price is $26.95 We didnt ask for that extra anything, and after the fact I wouldnt that there was extra on it.. Oh well, not sure if Id have paid the extra if I had seen the receipt first. Anyhow, overall our experience was okay, our waiter was nice and attentive.

first of all this place is known for thier pachos. So why u gotta pay extra to pacho your lattice fries! Then half way through my pachos that I had to pay extra for and I m out of pacho sauce so ask for more and I gotta pay extra for more sause to finish my lattice fries that I paid extra to pacho them! Don t ever go here but was a friend birthday so I went but I try not to give them my buisness. Lots of other places in town that give a free birthday dinner.

Came for the first time on my birthday, and will be back. The prime rib, extreme pachos, and chi-chi were all delicious, the server attentive and professional, and the vibe low-key, friendly, and comfortable. Thank you for the birthday gift--especially meaningful in todays economy.

This is my husbands favourite restaurant, we come here for his birthday. He loves the Pachos. I usually get the taco salad. I love the food too, but I must be getting old as I find it to be too loud! Good kids menu, 4 liked his chicken strips Parking: Free after 6pm Street parking, be careful of Blazers games nights as it may be difficult to find a spot. I dislike parking downtown and usually park far and walk Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu, staff was super kind to 4. He got his meal before we had even ordered the rest of the food and was very happy Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at entrance, so could access most of the restaurant. They have done some remodeling since I was last there to make everything more level and wheelchair friendly! The ladies bathroom has also been enlarged and is more accessible

Conventional Kelly-OS. They seated 5 of us at a 4 person table, and when our food arrived it was super cramped and there was no room on the table. We ordered different Appies including chicken lips, pachos, poutine, and chicken parm flatbread. The chicken lips and flatbread were very dry. The pachos were good as usual Drinks were good Poutine was made with pachos and soaked in too much gravy and onions. Prices were high for the quality of food we received. Food presentation was good-great. Service was medicore-good. If youre looking to have a good time with friends and a few drinks its a decent option, however if youre looking for good food at a good price I would try another place Not kid friendly. Parking is downtown so can be a bit hard to find street parking.

Disappointed with Kelly O Bryans in Downtown Kamloops. We sent a steak that was initially ordered as medium well and it come out white inside and flaky. Upon sending it back and asking for a medium rare instead this is what we got. I asked and I was told that this was medium rare. This is laughable, beyond disappointing, and felt like a slap in the face on how this restaurant treats their customers. It was my sisters birthday and this ruined her night because she felt bad as well as how the situation was treated. I am far from a Karen but this is just honestly sad. This is not right, I am beyond disappointed.

Had my daughters birthday dinner there Nov 15th 2023. We had Mitchell as our server. The food was as per everytime we go to Kelly Os. Always good. But this review is specifically for our server. Mitchell was the best server we have ever had in any restaurant in Kamloops. He made our experience fun and joyful. He got the tip he deserved

Always good food reasonably priced. It has a Scotish theme expect the serving staff to be kilts and such. I recommend the Patchos for 2 with extra emerald isle sauce, with a Guinness to round out the meal. Always professional service and decent sized portions. Parking: Depending on the time a day its either free or you have to pay. But its minimal, sometimes its tough to find parking though. Kid-friendliness: As long as you go to Kelly obriens Its a family environment. But they have a branch called Carlos OBriens which is for 19 plus Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accommodating. Basically just a one story building

Cold food waiting forever to get served

Our large group of 30 rowdy choristers arrived well after 9 pm and we were served flavourful food super quickly by supernatural waiters. It was astoundingly efficient!

Im really disappointed I always go here because the food is great. Well went there on Monday and it was like everything was slapped together on my plate. Mine and my daughters food was cold. It was really sad because its usually good.

A great place to come for a birthday dinner. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The Pachos are worth coming for by themselves. $30 off your meal if its your birthday. Kid-friendliness: Although there was no mac n cheese on the menu my kids loved the food. They finished before me. Our server was very good to my kids.
