First time going back since the new management. The new owners are super friendly. I went in for pasta, and they had butter chicken on the menu and that instantly turned into a craving. The butter chicken is absolutely amazing, I had it medium and it's the perfect amount of heat as far as I'm concerned. The other thing that blew me away was when I ordered the lady told me 25 minutes, and I said cool and went to sit in my truck and I don't think 10 minutes went by and she was bringing my food out, it was super fast. The portioning is quite large, I'm a big guy and like to eat and I might have some leftovers for tomorrow which will be exciting. I ordered a caesar salad, garlic toast, butter chicken and this is by far one of the top butter chickens in my books in this town! Definitely worth heading out to visit these guys to get your next meal! Just went to Farrow's today, and got a calamari and rice meal. The tzatziki is homemade and very tasty. The calamari is cooked perfectly, and was super delish! This will be my #1 spot in town to get calamari from now on. Also, tried the BBQ chicken pizza. Look out other pizza joints, this place is gonna give you a run for your money. I am so glad I grabbed supper here tonight. You guys keep impressing me. That cheese is perfect, and the BBQ sauce is homemade. Sooooo good.
Tasty Greek food. The portion sizes are very large, with the dinners probably suitable to feed 2 people, or to provide a nice dinner and a follow up snack/lunch. The rice is particularly tasty.
A fanfreakintastic place serving scrumdiddlyumptious foods. Can't say enough about the place. You can tell it's this man's dream and passion to cook and serve to people. Wonderful tasting food. Absolutely wonderful personality on him. Will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. Had a the chicken gyro and it was simply delicious to put.
Just wanted to say a huge huge thank you to the wonderful people at Farros ! Had a lasagna there a few days ago and oh my god. Made so many memories come back to me as I was a kid. It was exactly how my mom and grandma make theirs. Takes a lot to have a very good meal that will touch a spot in your heart and bring memories back. Any time my family comes to town I’ll make sure i go there again and again. I can’t thank you guys enough. So nice to find a place that treats their customers like a family

Farros used to be top quality. They have fallen a long way over time. My wife and I spent over $50 for dinner, the calamari is the mass produced grocery store garbage. Revolting for a Greek specialty store. The potatoes were so old they were absolutely unedable. I've been the home cook for 30yrs and this food was OLD. The chicken dinner tasted sour and was thrown out half eaten,has left me I'll for days. This is the worst Greek meal we have ever had. Even if it was offered for FREE, we will never eat there again. Gross that this was the food put out to us for over $50 hard earned dollars. Shame.
Delicious!! Had the lasagna special with a side of the greek lemon potatoes. Ceasar salad was crisp and dressing fantastic. Lasgna had great flavors and the noodles perfect!!
I've always loved my Greek takeout; however, I recently picked up a calamari dinner and it was not like any other time I had it. Rather than getting the typical calamari I'd come to love and enjoy, I got over deep fried chunks/cubes of calamari...the taste and texture was not good and it all went to waste. I'll be sticking to the chicken dinner from now on! Of course, all the Greek trimmings that came with the dinner were fantastic!

There is now a sign out front that says Farros is closed except to groups of 20+ who book in advance, pending availability of staff. There is also a for sale sign. Wishing the owners the best for the future!
There is something for everyone! I am always amazed at how much food we get when we order.there is no shortage of amazing choices and it always tastes amazing. I can t say enough good things and I recommend it to everyone!

Have not ordered from them since moving from Brock. Was out visiting friends on north shore, and decided to order to take with me. Once again they did not disappoint, everything was great. Thank you farros for consistency and satisfaction.

I have been eating at farros for years and belived it to be the best greek food in town. The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. However i have to say im pretty disappointed that they have cut their menu, raised their prices and lowered their over all quality. I could deal with the price hike if the portion size and quality had stayed the same but unfortunately that is not the case. I was vary disappointed with the calamari. They have switched to using larg chunks of overcooked squid tube rather than young squid its like chewing on an old eraser. ( if thats all they can sorce maybe try filleting it into thinner strips)
Took a late order from me and delivered on their menu for the umpteenth time Ive ordered from them. To date, Ive probably had 6 different items from their menu. Quality is always spot on, preparation time is always quick. Great family running this place and great food to match. Im in South Kamloops and this is always worth the drive.

Delicious! Super friendly on the phone and helpful. Patient with me even though they were clearly busy - which you could tell from the incessant ringing of phones in the background. Lots of food! All absolutely delicious. Will definitely return!

We ordered the family pack , a spaghetti and lasagne for 4 people , there was SO much food left over , it came piping hot and everything was delicious. We love ordering from here. Thanks for the great dinner last night and left overs tonight

Farros has been a go to of mine for years. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is so friendly and allways have a smile on their faces. The portions are large and feed me for atleast 2 meals. I would 10 out of 10 recommend farros.

Wow its been there for so long and its the first time Ive tried it enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki and those lemon potatoes were to die for
Tonights dinner was awful. What happened to the calamari? Looks like old rubbery chicken and tastes the same... potatoes were almost burnt and everything was dry. Waste of $70.
So yah those last two reviews are true... calamari is not fresh and full of the Humboldt squid type meat. No rings or legs. All you taste is breading and they dont know where they get the squid from. Loved it before covid but not they just cant supply that fresh stuff. Trust me its a good place just dont go for the calamari .... As I should add this place was the best calamari in kamloops before this experience..

Ordered the Family Pack and was blown away by the flavors !! Fall off the bone ribs, absolutely melts in your mouth. The flavors in the rice... makes you want to eat the rice!!! IKR! This is my GO TO restaurant, if I am spending money on a luxury like take out food...I want to be impressed with the food and the quantity 10/10 !!!

They make the best Greek Salad in the whole of Kamloops. The salad is made to order and everything is fresh and crunchy not not soggy or sitting in dressing all day.
Takeout traditional Greek food: such as can, Mediterranean chicken, and Greek ribs. Meals come with rice, lemon potatoes, and tzatziki. Limited soda options, the nearby Shoppers and SaveOn can solve this small shortcoming. Typical wait times are 20 to 30 minutes, but could vary based on size of order and how busy they are.
The pizza is absolutely disgusting. 711 makes better pizza than this. The amount of grease that came off of it could have filled a 4L milk jug. The taziki dip was just pure garlic and it wasnt even real pita bread.

All of the traditional Greek food items are really good and can compete with other Greek restaurants in town. French fries, pizza, and other not-so-Greek items are terrible. This used to be our favorite Greek food go-to, but the last 6 or 7 times that weve gone to order theyve been closed, so I dont even bother anymore. If I want Greek I order take-out from another restaurant that is open.

Farros is an amazing place, the food is fantastic and honestly reasonably priced for what you get. The staff are amazing and friendly and the quality is top notch. It is take out only. That is the only downfall I can say about the place. And that is minor. So if you want great food and service, I highly recommend this place

Wanted something a little cheaper/quicker than Dorian for a change. Tried them out. The food is top-notch. Greek salad was all crisp tasty vegetables, Im usually not even a tomato fan but theirs had me eating their large chunks happily. Spanakopita was as good as any Ive eaten, and they roll it in a round shape that gives each bite a nice balance of pastry and filling. Their Tsatziki is amazing! Garlic garlic garlic, delightful. Potatoes are lemony and tasty. The only let-down was the rice, which is well-cooked but a little bland. Rice was the last thing on my mind though, and I was happy and full with the rest of the entree. Would absolutely order from here again, when I want something fresh and delicious, and ready quick.

This is the best pizza on the northshore. Not kamloops. In all honesty pizza king and pizza pie are better for the whole city. There pizza was good but the meat topping were no where to be found. Lots of veggies. I would try them again.

After getting more than one delivery from them, now all of a sudden they dont deliver downtown. We live five minutes away and just got refused even after telling them weve had delivery before. Definitely not a place that looks to expand or be taken seriously.
10/10. Great menu and portions are out of this world! Foods top quality and you can tell they take great pride in what they do! Always very friendly and happy to help when I cant seem to decide what to get! Always the first place I recommend to anyone whos new in town or in town visiting!
