A favorite for many years, has never disappointed!

The atmosphere is nice and the food is decent. Im really picky about my calamari and im glad to say they didnt dissapoint!

Ordered a chicken souvlaki to go, great service and food.

I ordered the special- ribs, prawns with rice potato and Greek salad. You would like the special would be freshly prepared. The ribs were dry so dry, almost dehydrated. It was like they were cooked the day before and then microwaved. So disappointed. $28 for an meal I only ate the salad prawn and pita. Wont go back.

Did not have lamb that I went for owners were on holidays so lots of items on menu we could not have

What up with all the 5 star ratings. Have any of you had Greek food anywhere else lol. It wasn t bad, but it wasn t good, just average if you take into account Greek food beyond kamloops. It s especially disappointing when the prices are so high. Their pricing is typical for 2023 but with these increases I expect better than average food. For me its not about portion sizes it s about quality. 2.5 stars if I had the option.

Amazing greek food. Always the best experience!

We are visiting and found Minos when searching the Internet for a restaurant. I love Lamb Roast and it met my high standards. My husband had Ribs and thoroughly enjoyed it too. The servings were large, unlike a few Greek Restaurants weve been to in other cities. We finished with Baklava which was made in house. Also excellent. Our server was very friendly. We would order these items again and we will definitely be back the next time were in town. Overall a wonderful experience!

Their lamb is great, whether its lamb legs or lamb ribs, its authentic Greek cuisine, with vegetables, rice and main dishes, a big plate full, great.

Best ribs and food ever, have been to many restaurants in town and Minos takes it for the win. Delicious food well worth the price

Some of the best Greek Food we have had in a long time, ambiance of an authentic Greek restaurant and excellent service from Emily.

The atmosphere is authentically Greek. The wait staff is attentive and professional. I made the right decision when I ordered the chicken and prawn souvlaki. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the Greek salad tasted like it was crafted in a Mediterranean garden, and the tiramisu was delicate yet filling. I have not had a Greek food like this before. My waitress told me the chef was a Greek gentlemen and I was not surprised. It s obvious he knows this menu inside and out. I will be returning and I look forward to it. Price is surprisingly affordable compared to other restaurants. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Minos.

Great eating experience. Worth every penny.

Surprisingly not very good. We ordered the roast Lamb which had a very large amount of fat. It came with a scoop of rice a boiled potato, half a piece of Pita bread and ( a Greek salad which was the only redeeming part). It was a lot of food as the lamb was very big, just not very good. For $33 I would expect a little more of a focus on the quality of meat and the side dishes. My partner and I both had unwell stomachs for hours afterwards. The staff were excellent which is why I gave two stars.

Expensive, small portions of poorly crafted food, nothing like the Minos of yesteryear, the new owners have taken a once great restaurant and lowered quality, quantity, and taken the true Greek soul away from their craft.

Our family had been regulars of Minos years back and always enjoyed the tasty food and large portions at a reasonable price - unfortunately not the case now. Went for a family dinner and ordered a range of appies and mains. First glance at the menu revealed higher than expected prices which is certainly not a problem if the food measured up, but it didnt. Greek salad - no peppers, one olive, minimal cheese, lots of onion and no marinade. Calamari, small bits of tasteless deep fry. Potato (half) and rice was just warm and old, no other veggies in attendance (used to have great carrots). The lamb and prawns were decent but the chicken souvlaki was overcooked and barely warm. Pita bread (2 quarters) appeared to be right out of the bag, not grilled.... with a small spoonful of tsadziki. Assume much of the meal had been waiting for some time for customers to arrive... On the plus side, the server was pleasant and attentive and the cozy atmosphere/decor has not changed and reflects the greek theme well. Bottom line, reasonable sized portions but overall lacks flavor/quality for the price.

I have to say my experience with Minos Greek restaurant has been disgusting . It was by far the worst Greek food I have ever had. We ordered Greek rib dinner, and chicken with calamari dinner Rice- very very salty it s like they put a ton of chicken bouillon cubes in it. Potatoes - salty and lacking any other flavour Chicken- very dry barley any flavour Calamari- oily, rubbery and very fishy tasting - I have never had it taste like this before. Ribs- dry and underwhelming Tzatziki - the only flavour was lemon lemon lemon. I love lemons but this was horrible. I will never ever order from here again, I will not recommend them to anyone. Fast food greek from the food court tastes way better. Please do not waste your money like I did. Do not order from here.

All I can say is yes very good, friendly staff and good food, clean environment.

First off we would have totally passed it by if we hadnt have stopped at Surplus Herbys next door. We are so glad we stopped in. It was quiet when we arrived but we were early for dinner. A few more people came in after us. Service was prompt, friendly, and extreme accommodating. My partner has an intolerance to gluten and they allowed us to sub out the affected items for ones that werent. The portion was huge and left us both filled. As my partner put it, weve had worse Greek food for more money. Our meal was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Shrimp is so easy to over cook and make chewy but here it was done perfectly with that slight crunch. This will be a meal we think about for some time. Were just sad that were not local to be able to enjoy Minos more often. Next time were in Kamloops well be back. Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating to my partners gluten intolerance and replaced glutenous items for ones that were gluten free. We experienced no issues from cross contamination. Parking: Plenty of on street parking in front.

Food is good quality but the times Ive eaten here the rice has been lackluster which puts a big damper on the entire meal. That and they didnt give me any Tzatziki sauce or lemon on my takeout order. Slightly pricey but thats normal for Greek. Overall still enjoyed the food and would recommend eating here.

Went to Minos last night for the 1st time in awhile, and, it was amazing. My partner was having a bad day, our server, Jade made us feel completely welcome and at home. Newer, I think, but the experience was as good as the food, which was incredible.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Minos! The food was delicious and authentic (being from Europe myself) and the customer service friendly. Pretty much everything is home-made, which justified the prices. Wines were good, too!

The food is usually really good, but they are on the pricier side. I m torn because we used to really love this place and then Covid happened but we don t feel safe dining here due to the statements made by the owner.

My wife and I went on our date to an over-priced $75 steak and cr.ab and yet again 60plus miquinoes plate those 2 plates 4 drinks came to 184 36 not including tip WOW

The food was amazing and the portions were more than generous. My only issue was that they turned off their phones on a busy night and all I wanted was a take away so had to go down twice to order and then pick up. But the food is worth every dollar spent. Greek ribs and prawn dinner were just yum.

Went for our anniversary dinner from out of town. First time being here and the experience was amazing. The owner went out of his way to make sure it was a special night. For sure u can tell that the owner puts his heart and soul into the food and service. For sure we Will come again when we come back out here. Kamloops best little Greek restaurant.

Visited many times shuttling between Edmonton and Kamloops. Made a special detour on holidays to eat there again. Food and service was fantastic.

Absolutely amazing! 10/10 service and food.

Although there are four choices for Greek food in town, in my mind there is only one. The authentic atmosphere as soon as you enter is exactly what you would expect if you might go into a family-owned restaurant in Mykonos. The food is absolutely fabulous and is not polluted by North American influence. You must try the lamb shoulder and the rack of lamb. The calamari will have you coming back while at the same time avoiding all the imitators at other restaurants. We had a large complicated table with separate billing which was handled in an expert yet friendly manner. I am well travelled in people are often surprised when I tell them the best Greek food can be found in Kamloops.

I went for the Saganaki and it did not disappoint. Also the best chicken souvlaki Ive had in a long time.

Showed up at 7pm for dinner, was told they were too busy and ran out of ingredients and couldnt be served. This has got to be a first for me.

Minos is the best Greek restaurant I have found anywhere. The food is always amazing, and the service is second to none and always consistent. If youre considering trying this restaurant take my advice and eat here. Theres no chance you will leave disappointed.

The owner treated us and his employee very poorly...very rude! The food was disgusting especially salad was a few days old. Be aware of this restaurant! The worst experience in a restaurant in my life!

It was a great experience, its been 5 years since the last time I was there. My husband was so pleased with the flavors of his dinner. We would go back again and recommend them.

I have loved this place for years! Tom is the best, always takes good care of guests and the food is pretty awesome. I love the very garlicy tzatziki, the baklava has always been one of my favourite things they serve. The Greek salad has lots of cucumber and an amazing dressing. The chicken souvlaki comes with nice moist flavourful chicken. I tried Dorians once, havent been back to Dorians. I love my Minos.

We had great food tonight from Minos. Great food and great service. We will eat there again for sure.

Fantastic service from the host. Really great dinners all around the table. Definitely meat-a-tarian for all of us. Long Island iced teas for the drink special was a win too.

I absolutely love this place.. The decor was beautiful.. The food was so delicious its all Ive been thinking about... When I can go back and get more... And thats the best compliment any restaurant could ask for.

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for years and years.. excellent Greek food. I have celiac disease now (not allowed gluten from wheat, barley oats and rye) and my last visit to Minos, I asked if I was safe eating there and the staff ensured me all would be fine if I stayed away from the bread however I was very Ill for two days (cross contamination) so if you are celiac, avoid eating here.

The service is phenomenal. Went here with my mom and kid brother. We werent having a good vacation but the server cheered us up. He was very funny and quick! The food was really good. I had the lamb roast and my mom and brother had the lamb chops. Both were excellent. I highly recommend coming here. A great mid stop for lunch or dinner on the way home from Alberta. Will always stop by now!

I had the baked lasguana. Looked good with lots of cheese but the inside was more like pasta soup than a lasguana. The calmari was great, service good, but i wont be going back for a baked lasguana anytime soon.

Excellent food if you dont mind the outdated decor. Cheaper than Dorian and a bit smaller portions but not by much. The server was great.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Minos. Our waiter was attentive, accommodating (2 kids in tow) and great sense of humor. Apart from the absolutly huge portions everything was cooked to perfection. Quite possibly the best Beef Souvlaki Ive ever had. We dont eat out very often but we will be back guaranteed.

First time to this restaurant, it was packed full of people which is always good! The staff were super friendly and the food tasty and priced right. No smashing of plates or glasses like other Greek joints but thats OK! The cozy atmosphere was welcomed after the long 7 hour drive we had that day.

A couple of weeks ago I was in Kamloops visiting my family. It was my daughters birthday and we decided to go for Greek food. Ive always been curious about Minos because I love Greek food and I have heard great things about it. We decided to go there for her dinner and were not disappointed. Not only did we have the greatest Greek food I have ever had,we also had the best server I have ever had. I only wished I asked this amazing young lady what her name was. She was fantastic. I highly recommend Minos.

Honestly, just like it used to be. The dinner for 2 platter is absolutely massive....like we ate it for 3 different meals each. Ideally Id like to see a smaller dinner for 2 for $30 or $40 instead of getting 4 meals and a snack for $60. I didnt think Id ever say that... But the dinner for 2 is almost too huge. Price is fair, but dial them both back a bit and it would be better.
