Polite waitress food took a little too long but was good. Chai tea was a bit bitter lacking the cinnamon, milk and sugar. Everything took a long time from waiting for food to waiting for bill and it was not busy.

The food isn t that great. You can taste tomato in every gravy. Ordered masala chaap and goat curry on two separate occasions. Both the gravy tasted like tomato purée. They were nice enough not to charge us for the chap the first time because we said it didn t taste well.

Got fish pkaura from this place today and called before if its for 2 people one plate the girl there said yes. Please be mindful of what you really say as it was not even for 1 person. Taste was ok but really disappointed with the service. Not recommended.

Great ambience & good service but food is not good. Tried couple of times but food was disappointment. Decided to try their Indian sweets but they were stale and had to toss them. Hopefully they do something about their food taste and quality as their other locations in different cities have awesome food.

Ordered Daal, Noodles and Momo. Daal makhani was not fully cooked. Noodles were spicy although we asked for non spicy. Momos were alright but little bit old.

Just got out after dinner today, server lady was so unprofessional and full of attitude. I must say the food was pretty good thats y I gave 3 star only for food. It would have been better if she server was more nice. We paid good amount of tips just to show nice gesture. But still no thanks and even sorry from her side. Never smiled for a single time while talking to us. Super rude and unprofessional. Manager please talk to the server. Might need some more training with her. Bdw mango shake is a must try.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and I want to warn others. I ordered tandoori moms, and it came out burnt with way too much spicy masala. I waited over 45 minutes for a small order, and when I finally opened it, it was absolutely inedible. When I asked for a refund, they tried to force me to wait another 45 minutes for a replacement. I explained that I was just visiting Kamloops and needed to head back to Vancouver, but they didn t care. I waited an extra 20 minutes for a manager who never showed up, and the staff made excuses instead of helping. In the end, I left without my refund and feeling extremely frustrated. The food was unacceptable, and the customer service was beyond disappointing. Save your time and money avoid this restaurant!

Worst Indian food Ive had in Kamloops upon arriving I witnessed an employee throw his cigarette as far as he could into Victoria Street got my food out of the microwave which I noticed was not microwaved in a microwave safe container butter chicken was so tough and full of chewy type meat I could hardly eat it and my naan was raw I literally just threw my food away and didnt eat waitress was nice though

I am not the type of person to leave negative review but this got to be one of the worst Indian restaurant in kamloops. This is definitely not the place to go if you are hungry, the waiting time is almost an hour for appetizers. We ordered vada pav and it took them 95 minutes to serve that; the restaurant was not even full, there was just one person at the front serving and bartending and you can see the cooks inside chilling and talking among themselves. We were planning to order main courses as well, but given the poor service we preferred to leave after the appetizer. It is such a shame for them because the the place on its own is not bad, but the food and the service were below average.

Sahil is the absolute best. We ordered tons of food for our real estate event, and he helped us every step of the way. Not only did he guide us over the phone, he went above and beyond to make sure my event went well and the food was absolutely good. I will be coming back here for sure because of Sahil.

I went Veerji with my partner last week. One of the best ambience I must say and the arrangement was pretty nice. I felt the music was a bit loud for me but overall amazing. Nice and clean. Service was on point. You just move your neck and someone will show up to checkin to see if something is needed or everything is okay. Food - I ordered chole bhature and chole (chickpeas) felt a little bit salty and Julab Jamun was weirdly sticky but delicious and presentation was on point. My partner ordered Tandoori Achari Chicken and it seemed like he loved that too. Vegetarian options: Multiple Vegetarian options availble

According to restaurant food was not in equality and quantity price too high we can afford much higher if food is best but here the food was not as expect in abbortsfort we came here in after getting taste from veer ji in abbotsford but we didn t get that same taste and quantity

Mediocre at best. Ordered the butter chicken, chicken curry, samosas, vegetarian pakoras, garlic naan and pickles for take out. Was told both curries came with rice but only received one container of rice. I asked for the curries to be made spicy and was told they couldnt do that, should have been my first red flag. The food lacked flavour, well from the little I was able to eat before having an allergic reaction to the butter chicken. I might have been able to determine I was going to be allergic if their menu actually had detailed descriptions. Considering I am East Indian and I grew up eating this type of food I was really displeased that I wasted $100s and couldnt even eat it. I live 45 minutes out of town and I was really excited to try this place but was left disappointed. There are far better options for Indian food in Kamloops.

The food is amazing here. Everyone must try. I had a very tasty Prawns curry and tawa roti. The roti was amazingly soft. My wife had combo (shahi paneer with Naaan and rice) and she enjoying it. My daughter enjoyed Veg chaap. Moreover, the service was excellent. I would give more than 5 stars. He showed so much patience. Reminded me of Indian hospitality. Overall is a must try restaurant. They are soon expanding to breakfast. So more items in the menu.

We orderd dahi puri, chilli chicken and shahi paneer and some naans, golgapa for dahi poori was store bought and, for shahi paneer they used haldiram s ready to eat packets I know the taste beacuse I used to eat them a lot in my student life buy it from any indian grocery shop, chilli chicken tasted above average, naans were also supermarket bought. When I told the manager on duty about me and my wife felt about the dahi poori after just trying 1x dahi poori each but they totally ignored and said chef has tried this starter and he said nothing wrong with it. After that I didn t bother to explain anything to them I just had whatever they had to offer. But never will go back over my death, will never recommend to any human or animal, I don t know where to complaint about them to food authorities or how they allowed them to serve in this industry if anyone knows please send them this screenshot so no one s hard earn money is wasted again thank you. Please see dahi poori photo s and try if you can find any dahi(yogurt) they waved the dahi poori off the bill, i was never gonna pay anyway, but paid the rest.

The dining experience was utterly disappointing; the food quality was abysmal. They served frozen tikki chaat, which I did not expect for a $7 dish. The bhature were tasteless, and the overall quality was below par. Initially, I ordered food for home delivery, and they sent rotten chicken. Thinking dining in might be better, I was wrong. The $40 spent on this meal is undoubtedly the worst purchase of my life. I wont be returning. The coffee was a complete joke. The only positive note was the server, who managed to salvage some semblance of a decent experience.

We had goat curry and cholle bhature (fried bread with chickpea curry). All of it was very good. The menu has a great selection and we will be going back to try some more of their delicious food. Our server(Frank) made sure we were well taken care of.

I ordered masala fries and cholle bhature. Their masala fries are the worst. I didn t expected that. The fries were fried with the chickpea flour and taste horrible. They turned masala fries into potato fritters. The cholle bhature was okay but the gulabjamun taste like a hard sugar ball from inside, not a good texture at all.

Terrific food with horrible service . Firstly , this veerji location food price is much higher compared to other locations in different city of veerji . Common , chat paapdi in veer ji kelowna 6.99 $ and here you guys charge 11.99 $ for same portion . This is just example check other food prices way too high,owner needs to learn financial statrategy to put favoirable prices to operate a business . Secondly , I tried food here 3 times with same dish tasting different everytime . Spring rolls tasted like defrost of frozen spring rolls from Walmart . Lastly, avoid eating here unhygienic food with too much oil ,uncompetitve prices and frozen food. Never going back and dont reccomend it at all . Better to go somewhere else food is authentic and fresh always .

My friends and I went here last night and were very impressed. The food was fantastic and the portions were large enough for 5 of us to share and be absolutely stuffed. The cocktails crafted by the bartender were also delicious and complimented our meal. I will definitely coming back here and making this one of my regular spots for a meal!

Food was undercooked. Naan was not cooked properly think it was frozen naan only and paneer butter masala was like tomato purée and not cooked properly. And they charged us 27$ extra for something called gratitude and when i asked them they said there were some glitch on it and they returned it. They should ve told us before us figuring it out. Would not go there.

We were very excited to try new place in Kamloops so decided to go there with our visitors. There is no one to greet and welcome the guests. Ordered some appetizers-fish tikka, soya chaap and honey chilli potatoes were disgusting. We returned the fish. Thank you for that. Then, waited too long for the mains-paneer butter masala, gravy chicken and naan breads. The naans were ok but the rest of the food was cold, uncooked and tasteless. The server showed up and asked is there is something wrong with this table? I simply said we are leaving all the food uneaten as we didn t like the food and need to pay. The server right away pulled out the debit machine and asked debit/credit or cash. She didn t even think of talking to the Manager for the better customer service. Paid $99.70 for not eating food there. I don t recommend this place and never going back there again. The staff was very unprofessional, mismanaged and rushing around tho the place wasn t very busy. We ended up dinning at Maurya s and everything was amazing.

I went there last night with my family, the ambience was really appealing and warm, We were really excited to try at Veerji kamloops, as we have been there on other locations and we liked it at abbots. But this place in kamloops need to really work on their customer service first, and ofcourse their food quality and taste. We ordered honey chilli potato (had some flavours of asafoetida and chickpea flour which is weird as that dish is supposed to be made in indo-chinese street style food), soya chaap- was fine but we ordered achari chaap they got us malai chaap! Fish tikka! Terrible. It was so bland, I couldn t finish even a single bite of it. For mains, we ordered paneer butter masala, which was only sweet, I mean what was the point of asking the spice level when they are going to make it tastless anyways! Tari ala chicken- yes the name was fancy but just the name! It again had zero flavours! Was only sweet to me and we just left the food like that. No manager visited the table to make sure if we were doing okay, it was a terrible experience for all of us, wouldn t recommend this place. The servers should learn little bit more about customer service before actually serving the guests.

Didnt get a chance to take pictures, but got a chance to visit Veerji before the Santa Clause parade with a very chaotic group of 7 adults and 8 kids, and really enjoyed it! The staff were so amazing and accommodating with the kids, and the flavors of every dish we ordered was amazing! We had the chilli chicken, fish pakoras, and chicken biriyani. Our other friends ordered the prawn chilli, masala fries, and cheese finger and everything was delicious. Bonus was the kids loved the music and we were able to order dishes mild for the kiddos as well. Its hard to get together with friends when we all have high energy toddlers and the staff made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend

Amazing food and really good service

I had dinner at this wonderful restaurant and my order was one chicken biryani, rice with goat curry, garlic naan and a plate of extra rice. For the drinks, my order was Oreo freakshake and strawberry mix which I made a twist with it and added a shot of rum in it. The food tasted so good, the portion was generous and I took home the remaining food. The bartender explained the drinks perfectly and the waiter got the order right. The amount spent was around $60 and this was after discount from the restaurant which was a nice gesture. I highly recommend this restaurant. Again, the food was just too yummy.

Been here 2 times, tried a few of their veg and non veg starters. The presentation of food is good, the quantity is also fine. The most crucial thing for me at such a restaurant is the hospitality that you get from the servers. Our first visit was fine, took long to get our order and all. But on our second visit, our server was quick,I think the name of our server was Vritika , not only getting our order on time but the way she handled everything and explained whatever we asked for, was great. This is the first time at a restaurant in canada we felt that the server was good. Now coming to food, I feel the starters are better than main course. Might come here again to try something new.

The food doesnt taste fresh. It feels like they use frozen sauces to cook. Feels like they just warm up and mix already cooked sauces and throw in paneer or vegetables and it is done. Naan is a joke, I think they used a pan to cook my naan. They dont know what naan is?! and the food is very sugary. Very disappointed!!

That s how you serve bhatura s. No foil, no wrap nothing straight into the paper bag. Oil dripping through it and it s common sense how to pack your breads. Being such a restaurant I wasn t expecting that from them.

Very delicious food

Just ordered takeout, I am so impressed with the works that came with my order. I was not expecting the little dessert and raita haha also the containers are pretty good! We even got this on their buy one get one special so that was pretty awesome too! We would love to try more off their menu!

Avoid Sara! She has the audacity to slap a 25% tip onto your bill without asking.

Ive been here a few times now and its my new favourite place in town. Amazing food, portions, and atmosphere. Most recently Shabnam served us and it was wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Worst food, we ordered paneer sbji but it was served to us within 5 mins which tasted like it was frozen and they just heated up and served to us. Before this, last time when we came we ordered mojito, we did not like it, we asked them to exchange it, they did not do it and said we will kot exchange it we will charge for this drink as well as for the new one if we order. I will not suggest this to anyone.

Really good variety of dishes and affordable prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Make sure you come in with several friends so you can sample as many dishes as possible. We will definitely be back to try more options.

Worst food ever I had

Ordered naan and butter chicken, but the naan I got was from superstore which was beyond my expectation, and which would probably cost me around 4/5 bucks, and they charged me per piece as $3.9 or sth like that.

First time being there with 4 other friends, Franky(waiter) was awesome checked in on us and very accommodating. Atmosphere was really neat, very clean. Food was amazing, i got butter chicken with medium heat and the spice level was perfect.
