Ordered tonight for takeout. Did not receive my complete order. When I called back they told me they don t include rice with the order- go on your website and it is clearly stated it comes with rice naan and salad. Super disappointed that they don t honour their word.

Food was not good, butter chicken was having uncooked tomato puree plus chicken was not cooked properly and it was too sweet. Dal makhni was pathetic as it was having foul smell. Not a place to go and spend your money.

First of all the worst ever dine in experience I have ever had. First of all Server didn t even asked us water or any drinks to start. Came to our table after 20 mins while the whole restaurant was empty. The food was really bad and inappropriate. I ordered Veg Biryani which wasn t even close to a biryani. Then I had butter chicken which had whole tomatoes in the dish. After giving the feedback to the owner he was reluctant to apologize or even say that next time it would be better, he rather said it s like that only. Also the main problem we had was my friend ordered Dal Makhni which was completely stale and had a really bad smell. The owner s response to this was casually saying ok don t pay for it. I mean we didn t even taste it but the whole attitude of the owner was he couldn t care less. From honest opinions don t try Zaika ever. Don t waste your money for worst customer experience, the worst dine in experience and the worst food quality.

Ordered one dish through Uber eats and was left waiting for 2 hours before the app canceled the order automatically. The 4.3 rating on the app does not accurately reflect on this restaurant.

We went here for a lunch twice. I tried their chiken kadhai n goat curry combo. Both were ok. I liked the chicken combo better. Also tried falooda kulfi which was good in taste but i find the quantity was super small. Also, trued their vada pav and trust me it was worst. Its not at all tastes like original vada pav taste. Big disappointed. Overall Taste is good Hygiene should be more as i didnt find place very much clean Ambience is okay Service is okay but need improvement as the serving is time is much more

Rude staff When i ordered from Uber eats and mentioned to add spoons because I usually order when i am working at my store and we do not have spoons When i call them they say eat it with hands , new staff forgot to read instructions and this incident happened fourth time in last two weeks

Ambience of the restaurant is just okey. I had channa-kulcha,. I am glad somebody offering channa-kulcha. I would suggest they should give more quantity of channa. It was very very less as per the kulchas. Restaurant was not clean enough.

While travelling to Alberta through Kamloops with my parents and anty, we decided to visit Zaiyka to eat. I ordered aloo tikkie, it had no taste and was not garnished. It was a total disaster and I asked young lady that its not properly done the answer ws idhar to aese he banti hai. This was really unprofessional. I am very well travelled and have actually not heard this kind of answer. Toilets had no light, food was substandard and expensive. Big no no.

We ordered combos , chicken combo and goat combo, I would say it was good . We really liked it. Even the staff was polite. Please have patience when having food here because of only one server. Rest, I would say the food is good. Ambience, I dont care about anywhere as long as the food tastes good. And, cleanliness is something they must look into here. I recommend Zaika for their combos.

Came from surrey with my family , dropped by zaika restaurant. Food tasted good but found a hair in munchurian Hopefully they become more careful and wear the hair net in the kitchen.

Used to be one of the fav Indian places to go to but with time they have reduced both quantity of food as well as the quality.

The worst service, I wish I can give them minus rating for their service I order of almost a order of $150 and they gave me everything incomplete. They gave me Momos but no dipping sauce with it. With paneer combo they gave m naan and rice but no paneer sabji. They missed our biriyani. I don t think so they can handle the orders. How can someone have naan without sabji and momos without schzwan chutney. I will never recommend any of my friends to pick order from them. We came all the way from Revelatoke to eat Indian food and they ruined everything. On the top of it the noodle burger they have noodle separate and burger separate. Guys noodle burger means noodle in the burger. Please make sure you have right recipes. I will make sure none of my friends ever come to your restaurant. No cutlery in take out order. If anyone order a take out service make sure you check everything in your bags specially your complete dishes and cutlery or you have to eat with your hands.

Good food and good service on March 26, 2022 at closing time.

I had ordered their steamed chicken momos. The momos were good but the customer service was poor. When youre paying $14.5 for a small plate, you expect them to give more chutney. So when I asked for more chutney he was like that charged extra 2.5$. Like come on?! Are you being for real.... First you overcharge on the momos, then when the portion of the chutney is less they want to charge you a ridiculous 2.5$ for barely 2 teaspoons of chutney. Expected better customer service.

Great service, pretty good vegetarian food. This is the gold standard of local restaurant. Low budget place with ongoing expansion, while the great staff make up for all the weaknesses.

It s not a good restaurant for North Indian food. We ordered Chholle Bhature and Amritsari Naan. Bhature were really oily and Naan were super spicy, even if we asked for medium spicy. I can handle very spicy food, so I know what I am talking about. Ambience is also ok ok. Employees are good and friendly though.

This place had so good food. Yea less variety but everything tasted so good and different from each other.

We placed the order via Uber Eats at 8 pm and the estimated time of delivery was originally 9:10 pm. We did not get the food till 9:45 pm! We did check with the driver about the delay and were informed that he had to wait for almost 30 minutes at the restaurant for the food to be ready! So after waiting for a good 1 hour 45 minutes, once we received the order, it was missing some of the items we ordered: the veg biryani was missing, the veg korma combo was missing rice, we ordered kulfi but ended up getting ras malai instead! And we were not informed about any of these changes AT ALL! We tried calling the restaurant but they never answer the calls so didnt have any hope there. If you dont have the items available, why have them on the menu?? And you dont even care to inform the customer about this after making them wait for almost 2 hours? Its not the first time we have experienced this but surely NEVER ordering from them again. Pathetic service!

Worst Indian restaurant in town. We ordered through a delivery app at around 8pm and the delivery time was 9:10pm. Around 9:40 we called the driver, who informed us that he has been there since 9pm and the restaurant lady said it would take 10 more minutes. Fast forward to 10pm, food is still not ready and when we finally got our food, they cancelled the veg biryani without letting us know and instead of falooda kulfi gave us ras malai. Also, we ordered Veg Korma combo which comes with rice and naan, and the rice was missing from it. So we waited 2 hours for our food only to get this service. Customer service is horrible to the point, I wonder how are they still operating. Would not recommend at all and even if you need to order from here, order atleast 2-4 hours before and pray that you get everything.

I am from Vancouver however i come to kamloops often for work purposes. Like twice a week and I always order food from Zaika. I loveeeeeee the food, its delicious. Keep it up the good work.

Bad experience. We went to the store and there was a Lady at front Counter, she said we dont have dine in, and told us to check the sign, before coming inside. i checked the google hours, but they were open according to google hours. She was very rude, they dont even Greet their customer.

The food is unreal, definitely get it to go though, its not a great place to sit down for a date night or anything but if its to take home and eat then yes 100% try it out. So good

Kadhai paneer = Pethe ki sabji , there was no taste at all , no flavour , Rubbish food I ever had In British Columbia, they charged $20for 12 cubes of paneer in the dish , How could the combo n just 1 dish has the same price even though while ordering we asked your server the price . Pathetic food , I want give zero if there is option. We came from Kelowna for long weekend, but you spoiled it. cleaning =0 Food=0

May be they are understaff, customer service was very poor. Lady was running around serving orders and uncle (her husband) was sitting and staring at customers. He has very bad attitude. Food was not good either. Cutlery was missing as well from my order, I had to ask for it and uncle was giving me angry looks.

This is an angry review. Today I went this restaurant with my friend to bought a Chai tea.After we pay the drinks the woman who took order suddenly asked me Why did you look so mien before? I was really confused because I didnt know what was going on. Then I asked her why she said that. she replied I met you before at an Indian restaurant in downtown and you were very mean face. But the truth is Ive never been to an Indian restaurant in downtown kamloops. After I denied her answer, she told me Maybe I made a mistake. There is a face just similar with yours. I find this ladys behavior very mean and impolite. I was very offended. I think the real mean is her. I wont be going back to this restaurant anymore

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal I ordered. I had a three-course meal. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. The ideal place for those who are in search of proper Indian food. They have a lot of Indian street food on their menus; This is the perfect place for an adventurous eater. I will recommend it highly to anyone in Kamloops.

Had a takeaway because dinning was closed due to covid restrictions. Chole bhature was OK but the spicy chow mien was bomb. Will try their other indo chinese dishes very soon.

Just realized I was charged more than what menu suggests. My food review still stands at 4, but better be paying more attention to your bill. This is about ethics, not about the few dollars they charged extra. As a child in Delhi, I would stuff my mouth full with Momos almost on a daily basis. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised to see Momos on the menu. Momos were spicy and tangy, butter chicken was a little more sweet than Im used to- but still pretty good. Naans were mostly soft, with decent amount of crispness. The only star robbing issue is the staff. Maybe it was just the personality of the server-just not fit to be a server. But hey, I am eating the food not the server- so all is well.

This is the least professional restaurant. Several times have they messed up the order. Most recently we ordered a small order and were told 35 minutes. Upon arrival was told 5 minutes and no food for another 15 minutes. Once they gave me chicken when I ordered paneer.

Service slow today but food good as usual.

I went to this place yesterday for lunch with my family . The food was awesome. I ordered papdi chat,dahi bhalle it was mouth watering taste I never had before ,veg pakoras and spinach pakoras was ausum and freshly cooked . And the masala chai was so delicious . Loved it. The owner was alone and the restaurant was getting pretty busy . They took lots of time but the food was fresh and delicious. I love to go there again . I recommend to go there and have delicious food again .

Horrible experience!! I dont even understand why have they opened a restaurant if they dont want to take call orders. Call 10 times and maybe then they will decide to answer your call. Talking about their service well sit there for 1.5 hours and maybe just maybe then they will serve your food.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. Horrible customer service and no value for time. My orders pickup time was 6.12 pm but didnt receive it for another 30 mints, would have been understandable if the restaurant was busy but not even a single table. Also, the staff is not wearing any mask or following protocol. The server could even say sorry for the delay. I think they should Close their store or learn to serve.
