We had a good lunch at Duffys today. It feels like a nice neighborhood pub. Our server was welcoming, the food delicious, and, as busy as it was, we didnt feel crowded.

I went here with some friends avout 2 months ago we were told to sit anywhere and everytime we went to sit at a table we were told sorry that one is reserved ended up leaving and going to McCrackens out in valleyview. Which has way better services and we only had to go to one table and were able to sit down no problem

My fiancée and I always go here for our dates, and got engaged here too! This place is starting to feel like home

Undercooked calamari and super oily fries were a big turn off. Beer was reasonably priced though. So I would recommend this place for drinks only. Just eat somewhere else

We stopped here for a break on our way to Victoria and we loved it so much that we stopped by again on our route back home to Saskatoon. The food was delicious and the waitress was amazing (Taylor and Danielle) Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

We sat outside beside the patio with our dog- same great food and service- just with a doggo too.

I looked at the menu and wanted this to be amazing. Patio looks great but unfortunately if you have a dog you can skip the patio and sit at the plastic picnic table under the tree next to the road. No thanks, there are plenty of places in town that are a much better patio experience.

The steak was a great cut ofeat, cooked to perfection. The sever was attentive and friendly. But not hovering. A great place to go. Dietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy, they looked after me, well.

Its been 20 years since I lived in Kamloops and I still make sure I stop by and recommend Duffys to everyone. This last visit was a sightly healthier one, with 3 people having 2 salads and a Greek chicken wrap. Those choices made all three people very happy. Good sized portions and great taste all around.

Loved this place. Just came in for appies and drinks and found the happy hour prices to be excellent value. Had the potato skins and the serving was quite generous. Friendly server, great atmosphere. Will be back.

I was in on Sunday with Preset meal tickets for a fund raiser. I am a vegetarian and unfortunately cannot eat Alfredo sauce with the pasta meal. Our waitress and the cooks adjusted the pasta for me with red sauce mushrooms and spinach. It was excellent! The rest of our table had the preset steak dinner. Everyone really enjoyed enjoyed their meals. Thank you for the great service.

If you want food that tastes good do not eat here. My entire meal was bad.They sent out burnt calamari. I had to send the fries back and they still charged me full price for the calamari even though it was burnt and disgusting. I will never go back.And I recommend no one else does.

Food was great with large portions. Service was great. Atmosphere is apt and built around the audience. Music isnt loud so good place for hanging around to talk and have fun. Very lively. I discovered Duffys Pub last year on an annual business trip to Kamloops, and its awesome! I travel for work alone so I often seek out cozy, inviting places to eat- where I can sit alone, but not feel alone. Duffys is just that. Its a friendly neighborhood pub. Ive experienced a lot of incredible restaurants all over - including many five star, well known restaurants, and Duffys easily makes my top ten list of favorite places to eat. The wait staff are so hard working and friendly; Ashley who was kind enough to welcome me the past two nights especially. The atmosphere is exactly what youd expect- its an inviting neighborhood pub with bar flies, families and good friends gathering etc . And the food is good; Its nothing fancy, but its delicious and the value is outstanding. I send roughly 1000 people to Kamloops a year through my own business and I would recommend Duffys without hesitation. Thank you for being a special, local gem!

The food was delicious. The servers were spot on, nice to see them helping each other. The place is clean and theyre on top of keeping it that way. Our server Claudia was exceptional. Koodos to your team. I would give it 6 to 10 stars if it was available. The chicken skewers, my beef ribs, nachos, our appetizers :fried pickles and lemon pepper chicken wings were all amazingly delicious. Thank you. Parking: Lots of room.

This place is awesome.

I had a great conversation with the server. She was LOVELY. She told me everything was made in house. I ordered a Greek wrap and yam fries and the yam fries were hand cut. I will definitely be going back again with that quality of food and service.

Excellent Nachos! Ended up at Duffys after another local pub wouldnt let you sit down without a reservation. Duffys was great! Good service. Delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere - sports on tv and music playing but not so loud that you had to yell at your friends. We also ordered a chicken burger which was also delicious. Friends in our party ordered pasta, appies, drinks and everything was fantastic! We shall return! Tried the daily Panini special this time . Fantastic!

I adore having great food and amazing service. This pub sure can deliver, with both sides of the spectrum. What an amazing pub, with many great first impressions. My favourite dishes are, braised short ribs, tequila lime salad, green goddess salad, steak bites, mile high burger, nachos, tiger crab rolls, chicken strips, prime rib (Thursday evenings) and the avacado club burger with yam fries and a garden salad. Honestly there are so many great options on the menu that will cater to anyone. A must try pub.

Were new to Kamloops and tried Duffys last Sunday. We were very impressed with the food. It was very good. My only complaint would be my steak not being cooked enough. I always ask for my steak well done and it was still pink in the middle. The waitress we had was amazing. We will definitely give it another try, hopefully my steak will be a bit more well done next time though

Had the Rueben with french onion soup. My wife had the quesadilla. Quesadilla was not as good as the Reuben and soup. Parking: When its busy, it can be tough to find a spot. Kid-friendliness: No kids allowed

Ordered take out chicken parm burger with gravy no gravy no salad dressing mo onion straws as was described on burger was charged for the extra items. They offered gift cert but hardly worth it when amount equals fuel to go back to pick it up.

Great reliable pub food. Parking is a hit and miss definitely not enough for the size of the location.

Love Duffys but had the Worst Club House Sandwiches ever. The Bread was toasted 2 different kinds but tasted more like stale day old - awful- no special taste infused. It was as so busy the waitresses didn t have a chance to ask how everything was except if you needed another drink.

Best neighborhood pub in Kamloops! Great beer selection with alot of craft beer from around BC, which is a great change from most pubs only offering Molson/Coors products! Food is great as well!

What a wonderful experience! Claudia was our server and she was dynamic, engaging and most importantly, a fantastic delight! The bicycle kick and the song lyrics for Blue put her over the top. The food was spectacular and very filling. 100% recommend!

Very reasonably priced, massive portions, and good food. It was busy, but the service was quick and the people were very friendly.

Drinks were good, our server -Stacy- was great! Didnt have any food but what I saw on the surrounding tables looked good! Im celiac and my server was able to recommend some good gf drink options.

Busy night for these guys this last Friday, and I only seen one waitress really hustling on her own. We only got two drinks and a desert, but my drinks were flat unfortunately. Atmosphere, 10 felt like a good neighborhood pub. Cant comment on the food. But we seen what others were having and it looked delicious. Will definitely come again. I just hope they find more staff to help in these hard times.

Absolutely delicious! Had to revise my previous review.... We went for lunch today and it was scrumptious Ordered their chicken, bacon & avocado burger with fries, salad & gravy. The colour on the plate were beautiful & everything was so tasty & fresh. As well, the portion was generous. Also tried their won ton soup & again - it was so good. Cant say enough about how wonderful lunch was - from the fantastic server to the great tasting food. We will be back next time we come to Kamloops. Thank you again! at food. So happy we ca Update, the management reached out & were so very pleasant & professional, we are sure to be back! Thank you

I heard good things about this place and decided to try it out. It was rather dissapointing. The service was probably the worse i have ever experienced. The server (Montana?) literally ignored me. Took her almost 10 mins just to take my drink order, had to wait for ever to place a food order and sat there staring at my obviously empty beer bottle for the rest of my visit without being asked at any time if i wanted another drink. And at that time the pub wasnt even super busy, quite a few empty tables still and 4 or 5 waiters working. She couldnt be bothered to look properly after our table but took her time to sit down at another clients table and had a look at a book that person was reading and talked to other people in the pub while i sat there starring at my empty beer bottle. My food came out lukewarm, it was probably already sitting on the counter for a good while before our waiter finally decided to serve it to us. She never stopped at our table to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else while my empty beer bottle was still sitting in front of me. Same for when it came to get our bill. We waited for ever to get our tabs and then she just didnt show up to let us pay. I had to leave cash on the table because she just wouldnt stop by our table to take the payment. I will not return to this place nor can or will i recommend this pub to anybody. I visited this pub on May 4, 2023 at approx. 7 p.m.

There steak is so consistent

The food was great, with large portions and presented well. Unfortunately, we were seated beside a couple of very boisterous men, causing my father to have to remove one of his hearing aids and another couple nearby actually changed tables.

We used to live in Kamloops 30 years ago and came to Duffys for beer and trivia on Weekend afternoons. Passing through town, we stopped for lunch for old times sake. We had great service and food. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Made us talk about how great it would be to move back.

Updated review. Visited again a few days ago to see if anything has changed and was happy to see that there have been improvements. There was more waiting staff this time around so service was prompt and friendly, the fries were definitely better, maybe still not quite as crispy as I like, but pretty decent. The food was quite good all around. We had the chicken sandwich, beef dip and the chicken souvlaki (I believe). The only issue was the greek salad had too many peppers and no tomatoes, but thats not a major gripe. I joined a party on the patio without going inside, so Im not sure what changes there were done to the decor since the last time, but will upgrade my review next time I go if there have been substantial changes. Last time I found the decor a little dated, and it smelled inside a bit too much like fried food for my liking. The patio, as always is still quite nice. Overall, definitely going to visit again. Glad to see the place has improved in the few months since my last visit. The fact its right by the EV chargers is also a huge bonus.

Nothing we had was bad, but unfortunately there were some things that made our visit a little disappointing. The desserts were just not very good at all. My chicken was overcooked and dry. A couple of our fries were burnt. The positive is that everything tasted pretty good, the service was good, and the food came out very quickly.

Friendly attentive server. Made sure i had beer samples to pick the local beer i would like. Steak bites were a bit on the small side but food was tasty.

Stopped here for lunch with 2 friends. We started by sharing wings and they were delicious and we had them with two sauces. We sat inside because it was a very hot day outside in August. They do have a nice patio. My main meal was chicken salad with avocado and balsamic dressing. I really enjoyed the salad, was large and filling. Lots of food choices, nice atmosphere. Vegetarian friendly. Not sure if wheelchair accessible. When we asked for the bill, she brought it and split the wings between the 3 of us on each of our bills. Waitress was Shay and she was great! Parking was free in their lot.

Excellent place! The Yorkies were fantastic. Duffy chips has a most delish dip. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was very easy, casual and friendly. They have lits of tvs with lots of different sports shoeing. Made me feel like I was a regular! Every time I come thru Kamloops I try to stop in and eat! 5 stars!!!

Good food, great atmosphere but wow $69 for lunch!!!!! Two beers were had though . Only issue for me (doesn t affect rating) is why the archaic need for the hooterish outfits for the ladies serving? It s the millenium management, let s ditch the stereotypes. Parking: Difficult spot to get into/out of.

Great place to go when passing through Kamloops. Just off the highway. Food is plentiful and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend for pub grub and specials.

We usually stop in Kamloops on our way to Vancouver, Duffys is a short walk from the hotel, the food, atmosphere and service is always great, on our last trip we stopped in and there was golf tournament banquet taking place. Our server never missed a beat, the crowd was noisy and having great fun, I suggested that we had the longest drive as had came in from Edmonton. It was a joke but the MC awarded us a gift basket. We were very surprised and appreciative. In conclusion this gesture reflects very positively for Duffys, the golfers and in general the attitude of your city! Thank you Duffys and Kamloops.

Good bar, good bar food, out of the way enough to not be dingy but not popular enough to really be special. Right in the sweet spot where it feels too busy at meal times but sad outside them. Food was really good, hence the 4 stars, and the service was all right. The lady who served us tried to be friendly but I feel this place is not a regular hangout for outsiders and be prepared to be viewed as one, although its not very evident. I would only recommend this if you have no other options. I myself decided come here only because it was at walking distance from my hotel and I wanted to have a few beers after a long day.

New to Kamloops and this is my go to place! Been here 4 times. I am moving just to be walking distance (well not quite the main reason but glad it s ending up that way). In addition to the awesome food and drinks, the team here really stands out: always welcoming and friendly. It s obvious to me that they enjoy working here. Burger plates come with both fries and salad!
