Really good, too busy and small.

I think I am spoiled with the Ramen scene in Vancouver, but this was pretty mediocre. Had the Tiger Ramen with egg and spice ball. Broth wasn t hot, tasted watered down. Missing the umami hit for a brother with chicken pork and fish stock. Noodles way too soft, tasted like spaghetti instead of Ramen noodles. No spring or soup retention. Toppings were the only highlight, spice ball was really nice touch. Decore was rad, the vibes were immaculate but the food disappointed overall. Maybe I caught them on an off day. I am a vegetarian and this is one of the best places for vegan ramen .Loved it !

The food was delicious and flavourful. I had the Vegan Curry Ramen and is was so delicious. My partner had the Shoyu Ramen and it was gone in seconds, they loved it so much.

This used to be my go to place when I was in university here. I was headed through town and decided to check out if it was still good as I remembered. The broth was delicious, the noodles were yummy, and the meat was so tender and satisfying.

Amazing spot for Ramen. Usually pretty busy due to the small size, but worth the wait every time.

My favorite place to eat in Kamloops. Perfect atmosphere for a ramen shop. Sitting at the bar watching my soup being made is a treat every time. Delicious broth, noodles have just the right amount of tooth, the pork is tender and fatty, the egg is always perfect, the mayu is potent, the menma is crisp and there are plenty of greens and scallions. I cant say enough good things about this place. Oh, the gyoza are irresistible and come with a delicious sauce. Yum.

Wont find a more authentic ramen experience anywhere else. Ive been coming here for years once a week. Im never disappointed.

The absolute best Ramen in the BC Interior. Ive been going here since they opened and theyve maintained a great atmosphere and amazing, AMAZING, ramen. My friend just got back from Japan and this is the best ramen hes had. Be ready to wait your turn to eat (lots of Japanese manga available to read in the meantime) as its a small shop making everything from scratch!

I absolutely love tiger ramen and their food! The staff are very friendly as well. I d imagine most people who eat there would agree - the ramen is delicious. They have a great product. I just wish the restaurant was bigger. It feels extremely cramped and makes me not want to eat in. I understand take out is an option but it just doesn t hit the same as eating at the restaurant. It s just awkward having people stare at you waiting for a seat, and often having to sit with strangers to make seating work. Please consider hiring more staff and expanding! Kamloops loves you and you would thrive.

Wonderful place to eat though opened for short hours, lunch only, will have to wait for a available seating. Can order take-out.

We are quite disappointed with our order this time. We have been eating at this restaurant for a long time and are always happy with everything except for today. The portion is definitely not it used to be. We don t mind paying the higher price but to get less food is just not right.

when i entered inside, I was pretty excited to see a ramen place operated by Japanese =) the inside of the restaurant is a big boy dream. lots of Tomy cars! anyway yes it is a bit more expensive with their prices but i enjoy their noodles alot. fresh made =) make sure you drink the soup at the end too!

I went to Tiger Ramen for lunch this afternoon. I have been wanted to go back for a while and finally got a chance. Unfortunately, my order was very disappointing. I ordered the chicken pork miso ramen and asked for it to go. I also asked to add vegetables on the side. When I got back to work to eat it, I noticed that there was not enough broth to cover the noodles, it came with three pieces of pork, and the extra vegetables were just small little pieces of lettuce. I paid $18 for a really sad lunch. I dont mind paying this and have at other places but the quality was MUCH better. I wont be coming back here.

Fantastic ramen! We visited because of the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The broth is incredible. Tiger Ramen deserves full points across the board. Very cool atmosphere in a small space, and the service is great. We will absolutely be coming back.

Very small and friendly place. I was happy with the small menu and clean bathroom. You definitely want to get there early if you want a seat. Having spice levels is the best part and 2 out of 3 is spicy enough for someone who doesnt mind spicy.

I cant begin to explain how world shakingly good the ramen is here. The service is fast, the staff is polite and the building just has this good energy when its packed and people are after those heavenly noods. This place will become a mainstay for me but ya gotta be good on timing, this place gets busy and its worth the wait.

So delicious. I love the flavour of the broth and the noodles. Polite and friendly staffs. The best Japanese ramen I ve had out of the Japanese ramens I ve had. I ve been continuing to eat there ever since I first ate there and will continue to eat there.

Quite the authentic Japanese ramen experience with individual dining booths. The was okay but not something to write home about. Broth had flavor but the chashu and chicken were sliced way too thin. Meats need to have some firmness in texture and chewiness otherwise Id question if I was eating tofu instead. I would have given a 3 stars but the waitress was very attractive so bumped to 4.

Finally got to try Tiger Ramen after hearing so many recommendations from both friends and strangers and I am happy to report that it doesnt disappoint! I had the signature Tiger Ramen and it was delicious! The broth was yummy and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The pork, while not very fatty, was very flavourful. Service was fast and friendly! Seating is limited so get there early to guarantee a seat for yourself!

The noodle is not skinny hakata style its slightly thicker side. Chewy perfect noodle sapporo style i assume.. soup is very rich and tasty. Shop is rather a bit small which can be a bit inconvenient for some people

This internet-famous Japanese ramen shop in Kamloops has a very enthusiastic waiter and not many menu choices. We chose the two ramen recommended by the waiter and a plate of dumplings. As a Cantonese, I couldn t taste the soup. There were chicken bones and pork, but they only tasted salty, not ordinary salty!

Best Ramen for 100s of kilometers. Were lucky to have it here.

I ordered the vegan ramen for pick up and got not even half of the bowl of broth. Asked for extra veggies and only got lettuce. My friend did not get any extra even though she asked and paid for it. Never going back and I suggest no does either.

Best ramen place in town, hands down. Its amazing how good the food is. There is almost always a wait for a table unless you order takeout, but thats to be expected because there is only about 16 seats in the building. It is quaint, and very personal feeling, which is refreshing. Will be back for sure!

I didnt think my trip to kamloops would make me remind me of japan, however here we are. Tiger ramen has some of the best ramen that I have tasted on par with some that I had in tokyo. It is an authentic Japanese family run business. I ordered the tiger ramen, and the broth was extremely flavourful and creamy. It had just the right amount of tare. Umami was off the charts! My noodles was 30 seconds overcooked, but that because i like a noodles on the firmer side. Seating was just like Japan ramem bar with individual booths at the bar. There is only twelve to sixteen seats, You will need to line up during the lunch rush.

I had my first Ramen ever at Tiger Ramen when they first opened and have been back many times since. I went back for the first time last month in many years and had a great experience again! Ive tried many ramen shops across Canada and a few in Europe and Tiger Ramen is still the best I have ever had. Theyve been at it for over decade (has it been 13 years) and theyve only gotten better! Authentic Japanese ramen!

Yesterday I ate the best dish in my life, I ordered the ocean ramen and it was by far the best meal I have eaten in my life so far, and the food experience was amazing, I enjoyed both the food and the privacy, there s this one-seater table design that gives a lot of privacy. Last but not least the hospitality was amazing, and the toys as decorations were very enjoyable to watch

We were surprised to find a ramen place at this far from Vancouver. But it was nice to see one far from home. The atmosphere and interior design is really cool. Theres lots of skateboards on the wall, and some anime figures in the front. It had a very contemporary style. The food was very unique! But it was too salty for us. The server was also very nice to other customers, but kind of cold towards us. The kitchen staff and cashier was very kind to us though.

Ate two spoonfuls of ramen and realized it was stone cold, very bland, and the meat was dry as a bone. Sent it back immediately and had an order of dumplings instead. They REFUSED to remove the bowl of ramen from my bill. 98% of that ramen was untouched. Will not be back. UPDATE: Received a gift card to a restaurant next door. No refund, but better than nothing!

Have eaten here 2-3 times a month since 2014. Wouldnt trade the food experience for anything. Amazing food. Amazing people. Very much a ramen bar. Maybe Ill go get some right now actually. Mmmmm Ramen.

Oishii! Being spoiled from the Lower Mainland, I can comfortably say this place nails it. This is the Mom n Pop hole-in-the-wall style hidden gem youre looking for. Gyoza is fried wonderfully, even crisp all over without being hard or sharp, tasty filling and sauce. Miso base is rich and velvety with lots of depth. Try it, you wont regret it!

A fabulous ramen shop. We ate there yesterday, and the food was superb. Staff were attentive and the resulting service was excellent. Great ramen is so hard to achieve, and the folks at Tiger have it figured out. Cant wait to be back in Kamloops so we can eat there again.

It s a nice and tiny place here. I like the Shoyu Ramen with the soup not too oily, and the amount is adequate for Asian stomach. I will definitely revisit again.

I swung by this ramen shop with my friends during my visiting Kamloops. I tried miso ramen combo with a chicken rice bowl, and they are surprisingly tasty The soup was taste good for sure tho, what surprised me was the noodles. I was sure that this shop is particular about the noodles, and it turned out to be that those are handmade! I ve never thought I could eat such a wonderful ramen at here. Highly recommend for all people who want to eat genuine Japanese style ramen!

I can understand the hype. Great bowl of ramen with a depth of flavour. I ordered the Red ramen and added an egg, portion was filling. Came to under $20 after tax. Seating can be tight as its a small space, but cosy otherwise. I enjoyed looking around at all the various Japenese memorabilia and trinkets. Easy to recommend this ramen spot to others! Tiny Japanese ramen place hidden in the Saveon strip mall. Flavorful soup. Could really taste the miso. Delicious slices of pork. Portion is not huge but is very tasty for a small meal. The garlic chicken rice was very spicy.

It is a treasure found on our way to Banff! The Ramen is absolutely gorgeous and the owner is running the restaurant with delicate details and cares. Highly recommend!

Best ramen place ever! Servers are respectful, and the noodles are hand made in the shop! Also awesome that such a good restaurant is in Kamloops of all places. Stop by every chance I can, and it serves real authentic Japanese ramen(coming from a half Japanese person)! Decently priced as well.

This place might be small and tucked away in a corner but the food is amazing! The service is so personable. Music is great. I highly recommend this spot especially for a cold winter night when you want some comfort food and to stay cozy.

I had gone for dinner reluctantly wirh my daughter as I was not enjoying the food outside anymore and was expecting the usual restaurant food and ambience, but was completely surprised you have to see it. It was such a nice change loved the unusual setting simple but good. Also loved the food, the spicy Ramen was really delicious. The fried Momos was real tasty. Would love to go there again to taste all their dishes.

This place isint japanese. Customer service is terrible. Ordered through phone in advanced, arrived - order was not cooked until I paid, and tip was asked for before even getting food - this is greedy. Anyways server asked me to wait outside for covid reasons no problem. Come back server left food with other people waiting inside... other people were allowed to wait but not me. FOOD: gyoza sauce was just thick shoyu, gross. Gyoza was frozen store bought, no flavour. Chicken rice bowl had dry chicken, poured thick shoyu to give chicken some salt as there was no seasoning. Dissapointed. 1 sar for decor and 1 star for portion size.

Best ramen Ive had outside of Japan! Been to many different cities and tried ramen and nothing compares to Tiger Ramens flavour and freshness. The boss makes it the best, even if not the boss, still way better than any other ramen here that Ive tried. Authentic, inexpensive, and delicious. Cant wait to go back. Arigaouo gozaimasu!

Food and service is perfect here. Four star review for the size of the restaurant. often there are line ups to sit down to eat. Worth the wait, but feel they should invest in a larger location for how popular of a spot it is.

We ordered Miso noodles and spicy noodles. The Miso flavor was on the weaker side and the spicy noodles were not that spicy. On a scale from 1 to 5 I asked 6. We were told it would be extra $0.75. We said it was ok but still was not spicy enough. The shop has a very nice collection of stuff related to vintage manga that it is very amusing to see

I am blown away by this vegan ramen. My partner and I have eaten here several times. The broth of this ramen is so incredible. It s got body and depth, which can t say about a lot of other vegan broths I have had at other restaurants. My bf is not vegan, ordered a Tiger Miso ramen and thoroughly enjoyed his. He tried mine and said it was just as amazing. I got a spice level of 4 and it had me sweating, I have a tolerance for spice. I spoke with the person who served me, who said they make everything in house, including the noodles. They are chewy and delightful. They even have ramen packages that you can take home and heat up yourself at anytime, for those of you looking to eat at home and on your own time. The restaurant was very clean, sanitized often and the service was excellent. I would give a higher rating than 5 stars if possible!

I used to be regular before I moved to Vancouver. Since, I ve been to quite a few ramen places and trust me on this, Tiger Ramen is the best so far. We always try to come when we re passing Kamloops.

Great prices vs quantity of food. Quality is too notch. Cozy little place that usually has a movie on. Can get crazy busy at times. The only think I wish is that they were open longer.

By far the best ramen in Kamloops. Disclaimer, this is a small location with very limited seating, so arrive with the expectation to wait, and you will be satisfied. As a courtesy to others, this is a ramen bar, not a hangout spot. You will be served quickly, so try and leave your spot for others who are waiting once you are done eating - theres a great local coffee shop by Shoppers Drug mart called 5 Bean if youre looking to catch up with your friends/family. Featured is a tiger miso with extra noodle and an added egg with a side of 5 dumplings. Tiger miso has a rich bone broth with great depth of flavor. Noodles are made in house and cooked to chewy perfection. Pork belly falls apart and is oh so tender. Egg center is soft as youd expect. Dumplings are my favorite in town. Crisp exterior with a pork filling. The best part is their unique dipping sauce. Salty, sweet and slightly tangy Finally, the staff are so kind and thankful of your business. Cant recommend this small local business enough. Ps if your upset with the wait time, skip the wait altogether and call in for a takeout order, or take advantage of their frozen ready to make ramen portions that can be heated at home

I had ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with extra noodles. For a small city like Kamloops, this ramen place is very good for the area. The soup base was very flavorful, the noodles had good texture and was chewy and not too soggy. The pork wasnt bad either despite I was hoping to get larger slices but the overall meal was delicious.

I have been going to Tiger Ramen since they opened. I have also been to dozens of Ramen shops on the west coast. That considered Tiger still makes the best ramen I have ever had. I dont know anyone that doesnt like their food after going just once. The service is stellar and the environment is homey and welcoming. Keep on being awesome guys!

It was what I was looking for. I wanted a quiet meal. The ramen was authentic and delicious, the menu easy to understand and the staff was very friendly and competent. For singles there sitting booths where you could watch the kitchen, sit quietly and eat or enjoy a read while eating. For groups only six in a group and there are tables set up on there own section. All in all it was excellent.

Been twice now and great food each time, good service, fair prices, will be back!

Overall decent taste but the portion seemed a little small. Also, it was mostly broth and noodles without all of the traditional fixins that most ramen bowls come with (egg, veggies, etc). It was he broth was tasty and creamy but was not filling like most other Ramen bowls Ive had elsewhere.

Tiger Ramen is hands down the best place to eat in Kamloops, assuming you enjoy a great bowl of Ramen! The service is consistently amazing, food comes quickly and its always, always delicious. If you havent eaten here you are doing yourself a great disservice. Get over there ASAP! I recommend the Tiger Ramen (Tonkotsu) with a spicy ball and extra black garlic oil!

One of our most favorite places, flavor is so good. I love the spicy ramen and our grandson loves the gyoza!, as well as the ramen.

Food was good. Service was OK, their service was different based on which table they were waiting. The ambience was cute and comfy. The spicy red soup good, the dumplings were crisp and juicy, and the mini spicy chicken bowl was yummy!
