Food was good as usual, the atmosphere was ok( to much Christmas stuff but I understand the time of year). The real highlight was our server. Stefanie was kind attentive and did her job excellent.
So my and my lady thought why not try Dennys. I haven't had it in years because I pefer cooking lol. So eggs were decent, sausage were nasty, ham was ok and the bacon had no flavor! Toast was ok but that should be easy, pancakes had no flavor and syrup didn't do much. I remember back them being decent but thier food equality is disappointing. Service was decent and it was pretty clean but bathroom floors were sticky lol. I would not come back
So ..Dennys on tranquille kamloops...boy you need to do better. Total time was over 50 minutes . Birthday burger for my daughter..3 burgers and fries. Drive home 4 minutes if that . Upon opening food containers ...cheap order of fries x3. Fries cold ..had to microwave them . Burgers x3 also cold . Waitress totally ignored me ..she had 6 tables already served I may add . Overall ..don't do evening take out . Not impressed at over 65.00 Part 2...my review was answered by Rob . I was already planning on a stop in to just inform a manager. He was patient ,understanding , and made it right . Traditionally the food and service has always been good . I'm sure going forward it will be better for the evening service. Ty for the prompt attention . Well done. Part 3.... so hectic week ...day...decided it was a good time to use our gift card. Went with the same meal as the birthday.....NAILED IT. Total time maybe 25 minutes...food was spot on....hot...lots o fries. Dealt with 2 staff...sorry didnt get names...great interaction...lastly. THe cook from the birthday night was apparently on ...he killed it this time. Been going here since our arrival in 2017..highly recommend for the comfort qualities of the menu ...and the staff are steller . making it right . Great job all
Service was appropriate for how busy it was. 'Food' came in a suitable amount of time. Food appearance was boring and hashbrown portion was ridiculously small. Food lacked flavour. Sausages appeared to have come out of a steamer and not appealing. Scrambled eggs were cold and appeared pre made. We will never go back. Feel bad for our server who was very professional, efficient and friendly.
I will never eat here again. Ordered a lumberjack slam. It took over 35 minutes. Then they forgot the hasbrowns and ham. Another 5 minutes and the hashbrowns arrived and the ham never came. Then for the one breakfast I got a bill of $40.00. Seems they decided to charge extra for the toast ., hashbrowns and bacon. Finally got the manager over, and got the bill reduced to $28.00 NOT IMPRESSED. Will never go back there again. Oh and it took over 40 minutes to get a refill of water.
Overall, the quality of Denny's locations is consistent, with friendly and sincere staff. The place is clean, including the restrooms, and there are no parking issues as there is ample parking space. However, I didn't see a play area for children. In general, it's a nice place. The food is a bit salty for this restaurant chain. Update : pancakes were very salty too
Potatoes were a little crunchy. However, our server did a good job. If we are ready to order food at the same time as a drink, Sb be ok. But we had to order 2x. Wait was a bit.. understandable as it was busy. Will be back due to the notable gesture was we had a bday girl with us.. a discount was given. 👍 bonus
As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a friendly face. The atmosphere was very friendly and homey. The seating is comfortable. It was fairly busy when I went, and The server I had was very nice and even went out of her way to offer me more coffee after I had finished up. I got the steak and eggs breakfast combo. The eggs and hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. Steak was a bit chewy, but good. Unfortunately the toast was a bit overdone. Prices were a bit high, but reasonable. I got the most expensive breakfast item it was just over $20. However the average breakfast meal was about $12-18 Lots of parking. Lots of seating. A great place to go for a breakfast or brunch.
Myself and my grandchildren love going there, for the kids menu, and reasonably priced.

Terrible, incompetent waiter tried to take our menus before we even orderred, our food sat 15 minutes in the window and was luke warm at best when we finally recieved it.. presentation was abymal, eggs tasted like rubber. Sausages shrunken to about 1 inch long, ended up leaving.. avoid this dennys at all costs

I was so hungry and I ordered the berry slam breakfast. It was a lot of food and very yummy, hit the spot.

I was travelling from Kelowna and was looking for some vegetarian food. Went to this location and the person named Jarnail was super quick and helpful in offering advice for good food. He went far and beyond to make our experience better.

I was very disappointed that Dennys, which in my past experiences has been very willing to make adjustments for me as a vegetarian. Usually restaurant are happy to trade out their sausage and bacon for a cheaper product like eggs, hasbrowns, toast etc. As it saves them money. However this Dennys refused to allow me to do this and insisted that I pay nearly $2 extra for hashbrowns and eggs as a substitute for the much more expensive meat. In a world that is working towards being more accommodating to various diets, I was shocked at the blatant refusal to be reasonable as they would have already made more profit granting my request than if they had served me meat. Vegetarian options: Almost none and if you try to modify a dish with meat they will charge you extra. Dietary restrictions: Better hope youre not vegetarian-or vegan for that matter.
It was my birthday meal everything was perfect except they should change the value of your birthday meal as it only happens once a year not much y can order that is the same price as grand slam

Feedback on Supervisor Behavior I d like to bring the owner s attention on an incident involving your shift supervisor, Jernail/Jenail/Jenale, during our visit on a Sunday at 3:30 PM. We observed your staff member, Dhruv, working diligently to serve multiple tables alone. After a customer complained about her dish, Dhruv handled the situation professionally, offering solutions. HOWEVER , we were taken aback when the supervisor responded rudely to Dhruv in front of all the customers, using mean language. Regardless of the circumstances, no employee should be treated that way, and such feedback should be delivered privately and respectfully. This kind of behavior creates a negative atmosphere, which is not what we expect. I commend Dhruv for maintaining his professionalism and composure throughout the ordeal and still serving customers with a pleasant smile. I encourage you to address this matter and establish clearer boundaries for employee interactions. Thank you.
Brought our grandkids and they said it was one of their favorite restaurants they each ate from the kids menu and I had gluten free dinner. The service was fast and friendly and food was very good. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is suited to kids likes and has fun activities.
Yesterday I was also their I saw custome was done eating all the steak and server still offer new steak so Manager was taking with Customer if she informed the server if her steak was not cook properly because she alreadyfinishedall her steak and after she done eating she still refused to pay . Manager giving her discount but she said I am not paying anything thats it . I never heard anything else.
Found a hair in my meal(which was paid for by another customer that had already left). Waited 20 minutes for the manager to address the issue and she offered me a coupon for 15% off my next meal. What a joke. Didn t even offer to remake the meal. Would definitely not recommend eating at this location.
Every time my boyfriend and I come here, the service is amazing. Everyone is always smiling and super helpful Kid-friendliness: They also have free meals for kids on Tuesdays!
Burgers. The bun and meat is smaller. And they give a 1/4 of the amount of fries. Shrinkflation has hit Dennys. There a lot of burger places that still have a good sized meal and I am going there next time.

This was my first experience at this location as I had just arrived from Calgary Alberta . Food came hot and looked appetizing tasted great. Service was horrible. The manager and 2 servers stood at the counter talking very loudly about things that shouldnt be discussed at the main counter in front of customers. Ignored the needs of the diners.

This is a Dennys in the north shore area of Kamloops, and it is comparable to other Dennys locations with regard to food, service and atmosphere. It offers good grill/diner food paired with friendly and reliable service in a diner setting. The menu selection is huge and the servers are always upbeat and very personable. Highly recommended!

I came in for an early (6:30 Saturday morning) scrambled egg breakfast. I received a friendly greeting shortly after entering the restaurant and was seated right away. My server was Rebecca M. and she was great! She had several tables and served each one with professionalism and a smile, and was a breath of sunshine on this rainy, dreary Satuday morning. The food was good, standard breakfast fare, and the coffee was fresh, but Rebecca turned a good experience into a great one. You cant help but smile when shes around. Well done!

Best service as well as from entering we were greeted & sat immediately. Food was great absolutely love the bacon avocado burger. We brought home 2 lemon cheesecakes! Fabulous as recommended.

unfortunately, it was my first impression and i got shocked, my friend came there for an order and the staff treated him so unprofessionally and they made an argument about parking lab which was literally unnecessary.

I had a really good experience at Northshore Denny s as the host Dhruv suggested the dish I was looking for and gave us a warm service.
We had Trydian as our waiter and he was fantastic. We brought our kids for brunch and, as always, the food was delicious. Best Denny s in Kamloops!
Quick rundown of why I do not recommend eating here. 1. Cologne so thick you could eat it. 2 Things you could once substitute out are no longer a thing. 3. Ask a server for a well done burger and they had no clue what you are asking. As an asthmatic I would recommend coming with inhalers handy or you will have a hard time with the smell. Only good part of the meal.... it was served hot.

Fish was nothing like in the menus photo. I asked for vinegar and the server forgot to bring it. My entire plate was barely warm, yet overcooked. Then some worker started vacuuming beside us. Extremely noisy to the point where you couldn t maintain your train of thought. The server disappeared on us and I had to go looking for her to get a box for the balance of my wifes meal. I ve been coming to this location for over 30 years. It had to be the worst visit I ve ever had.
