First time here this evening! Waitress was on point!!! Food came fast, hot and delicious!! Will definitely be back!

Has changed owners and it isnt the same. No personality left in it. Menus missing some favorites also.

Waitress was lovely, very friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty and nice and hot. Great time was had by all.

I used to really enjoy this place. Since the new owners took over its been going steadily down hill. I remember when they had the best perogies and poutine in town. Now I would no recommend them. The bathrooms are also always really dirty now.

Incredibly slow service, cold food. Havent seen a waitress to even get my bill in over 45 min. Wont be back

Fun place, good food!

The weeping tiger steak was way overcooked, sent it back, creole jambalaya chicken and prawns were also overcooked and chewy, seamed like a microwave package meal, Server was over rushed and made mistakes, ie no utensils, our second order for beer wAs not the same as we ordered, but generally a good atmosphere.

Frick and Frack Tap House truly went above and beyond for our Grade 12 students by sponsoring a wonderful dinner for their retreat! The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that catered to everyone s tastes, and you could tell it was made with fresh, quality ingredients. The entire experience added something special to the evening, making it a memorable event for our students as they celebrated together. Not only was the food outstanding, but Frick and Frack s generosity and support for our community really stood out. It s not every day you come across a local business that cares so much about giving back and helping to create lasting memories. We re grateful to have such an amazing partner in our community, and I d highly recommend Frick and Frack Tap House to anyone looking for fantastic food and great people. Great tacos, great service. The staff always treat us well!

Frick & Frack recently catered a school function for my son, and provided a taco buffet, complete with two kinds of meat, toppings and salads. There were vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options and everything was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend!

When I received the draft beer poured 4/5 full, I knew there would be a problem with this establishment. Besides waiting an hour for our food, the veggie plate was a soupy mess, lacking entirely of vegetables save for some cabbage, coupled with a very sad Caesar salad containing far too much salty Parmesan with wilty lettuce and a tang of anchovy. Interesting location, we had to buy real food from the nearby 7-11, which topped off a splendid evening in downtown Kamloops where we saw a vintage 80s camper run into a bollard destroying the original headlight, which sadly will be repaired with duct tape red green style I am sure. They did remove the beer from the bill, but I really just wanted something edible.

5 of us and 2 dogs enjoyed a really good meal on the patio with exceptional service Aug 31st. Wish we could remember our servers name, she was the manager think her name started with a K Patio has a comfortable relaxed vibe, dog hospitality was great. Highly recommend the beer flights for good selection, more than fair serving size for a reasonable price. Food was tasty and arrived promptly...we arrived between periods

I always enjoy my food, and it has a great vibrant atmosphere. Fishbowl Fridays are my favourite. Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger that is pretty standard tasting. Parking: Decent amount of parking on both sides of the restaurant. It costs a dollar, but they reimburse you if you bring the parking stub in.

OMG what an amazing meal, the chicken cordon blue was the BEST I have ever had and my 3 companions all totally enjoyed their meals as well . The service was excellent and we will be going back again soon

If I could give zero stars I would I have been frequenting this restaurant for many years but recently it has changed ownership/management and I m sad to say I won t be going back. The manager Phyl was my server and I have never in my life had such terrible service and we didn t even stay to eat because while taking our order she was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. The last time we went to the restaurant we had a different server and everything went fine aside from Phyl was the one to bring our food to the table and she brought it with a giant mouth full of food while chewing it like a horse. I understand servers need time to eat, I was one for many years but that s disgusting! Finish chewing before running food!

Sky is awesome at her job! This happy server brings drinks super fast and always with a big smile. Shes so friendly that even grumpy people leave happy. Watch out - Skys good mood might make you laugh and want to come back again. Way better than 5 stars!

Came to Kamloops for my birthday and was kind of underwhelmed with the taste of the food until I came to Frick and Fracks. Food was delicious and Kriti was super friendly and didn t mind chatting with us. Atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean and friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here for a drink or even a bite to eat.

Been eating here as a family for over 15 years and I ve been more disappointed. Brought a large group of family from out of town, spent the day raving about all of our favourites on the menu, which included the best steak sandwich in town, a delicious crispy chicken naanwich, and just an overall amazing variety of choices. Last time we were in the menu had changed, but mostly just a couple random dishes (rip wonton noodle bowl) and they took away the cook vibe the menu had and turned it into something made in 3 hours in canva. Sad, but still worth coming back after that. This time, none of the dishes we raved about, no daily features, just disappointment. I felt bad asking our server so many times if something was still on the menu, I eventually just stopped asking her question. Not having a steak sandwich is super disappointing, we would frequently come here as a family of 8-10 and only order steak sandwiches. Not having a chicken burger of any form is just straight up wack. Most places have two, a crispy one and a grilled one. At bare minimum have one with the choice of having the chicken either way. The worst thing a new owner/boss can do is show up and start changing things without first learning what the heck is going on. Get a grip, put your old menu back, take a like 4 steps back and many this places won t be empty at 6:35

We were drawn to Frick and Frack because of the name and it turned out o be a great experience. Phil was our server and she was amazing. Our table all had different dishes and they were all tasty. My best friend and I have been nick named Frick and Frack since 1998 so it was just fun all around. Next time I will wear my Frack shirt.

Absolutely phenomenal service and food! You walk in and you re welcomed by a smile by Payton, the amazingly kind hostess! the supervisor, Phil, is quick to get you a drink and recommend some of their amazing new dishes. The whole team is so welcoming and fun and the food delicious. We have been coming for years and always look forward to frick and frack nights!

After the changes to the menu and the atmosphere, it has improved a lot. It feels more like a local pub and even has live music now!

Went here on a quiet Saturday afternoon, ordered a Cesar . Took the server over 10 minutes to get it. The place was dead no one else here. But I decided to stay. Ordered a beer and some food, she took another 15 minutes to tell me that the beer I ordered was no longer offered. Absolutely horrible service no tip.

I ordered a tall 1 ounce Caesar with no garnish and a salted rim. I received a tall Caesar with a pickle,pepper and a lime wedge. I told her I said no garnish. She brushed it off by saying Ill get a plate and take it out of the drink. She then proceeds to bring a glass and wants me to remove the garnishes. My hubby spoke up and said no take it back and make a new drink. I happened to watch the server and the bartender. They took the drink from the top of the bar, placed it behind the bar, piick the garnish out and put the glass back in the top of the bar and added more clamato to fill the glass. I was done! Thats by far the biggest disrespect a restaurant can do to a paying customer. Our server gave my hubby a cold cup of coffee and never once offered him more. We were a table of 9 people and she is by far the worst weve ever had at any restaurant. She should be VERY thankful she got a $ tip because by this point the only tip she deserved was never eat yellow snow! The worst part of the experience was, the place wasnt even busy. And I know you wont care enough but this review should explain the untouched Caesar drink that was left on the table when we left. 6/22/24.

We always stop here when we are visiting Kamloops from Merritt. Excellent food and wide variety on the menu, which they update often. Staff is amazing...friendly and attentive. They even pay for your parking in the lot. Highly recommend!

Came in for a 60th birthday party for my step-dad. The staff were awesome and food was wonderful. Kriti was super sweet and did a fabulous job!

Ordered take out late....Most of the food was okay, except the Thai noodle salad. Mom has returned on our trip through to feast on a dish she once had but they dont have it anymore. Instead, the Thai noodle salad was flavourless, unappealing, and didnt taste like Thai anything. It was a depressing experience. We expected much more.

Tried to go here for lunch today but stood at the entrance and were ignored so we left. One waitress even made eye contact but didnt seat us.

Been here a few times now. The server Jen was awesome! The food and drinks were really good, and the new owners really bring back an amazing atmosphere and energy to this taphouse. I ve always enjoyed it here over the years, and will be back again!

I come here occasionally with some of the guys after work and I m a big fan of some of the changes. The menu is much more legible to me and some of the new options are appealing for sure. Our server jenn was great and has been my server in the past and I was super excited to see her here also!

If you want a fantastic server, ask for Jen. We had great service and good food. Lots of attention to the kids in the group. We had lunch on a Sunday so it wasn t as busy but we were with a large party for a birthday and had a great experience.

We eat here regularly as its kid friendly and they have a variety of food to choose from! It appears its under new management and theyve made some nice changes notably chilling their beer glasses which makes all the difference on a hot day. The servers are super attentive in particular Jen is great, she goes above and beyond to make sure the kids are taken care of and entertained! We request her area now when we attend! Definitely worth a trip here!

Restaurant burger, fries or classic salad... Correct, but nothing more. Not the best address in Kamloops, but not the worst either....

I had a previous review where I gave the Frickin Frack a five-star rating I have since had to delete that review. My understanding is there is either new management or new owners or both. And it really shows. I believe that the Frickin Frack is headed down the wrong path. Very disappointed in the quality of drinks and food. I found out that the manager was the person behind the bar. I found her unpersonable and quite honestly it was the worst beverage I ever had. This was our go to place, now we will not be coming back.

I ordered chicken cordon blue. This was the worst meal of chicken I have ever eaten. The potatoes and sauce where drenched with poultry seasoning and sage. I ate it because my children took their wonderful step mother and mouth for fathers day supper. Never going back

Frick and Frack is a great spot for a show stopping meal. Yet, I d be remised not to mention that our server, Corrine, makes our experience that much more memorable. Her extraordinary customer service and such kind charisma makes our experience phenomenal, with great food and drinks, this restaurant makes a cozy spot for us to take a break and enjoy a meal out.

My wife and I went for lunch today. WOW! It is excellent now. It used to be good, solid food, now it is excellent and surprisingly so. We had the Memphis ribs and the brisket. The meat was falling of those ribs, literally. 10X better than anything at Ribfest. I make excellent ribs and people love them and they easily fall off too but not this easily. I was actually shocked how good they were. Sauce was excellent too. The brisket was also so tender and tasty. I rarely eat carbs but that cornbread that came with each Southern style meal was so good I ate the full piece. I cant recommend this place strongly enough and the pricing was amazing too. Best value in town in my opinion.

Miss the old owners way to many changes and not for the better. Old manager was amazing now its just going downhill which is very sad because it used to be such a great place to eat and go. Very sad

I went there along with my friends at Wednesday 8:48 pm. The waitress told us that their final call for food and drinks ends in 12 minutes. We knew what we wanted to order and said it s fine. The waitress then added that we have to make the payment by 9:45 pm. Clearly, they did not want to serve us and was indicating about times frame. Now the thing is google map shows that they close at 10 pm, but they were not happy as we went there before 9pm. We still agreed upon and had our seats. As we looked through the menu, we saw that they changed the menu. I preferred their previous menu. Anyways as we started to place our order, the waitress did not even ask what kind of fries we wanted along with our burgers. The food was good. We finished our food and left by 9:50 after finishing the payment.

We went to Frick and Frack for a large team dinner and had a great experience! The service was very efficient and friendly. The food came out on time, fast, and tasted great. Highly recommend!

Visited from out of town and tried their fish tacos. They were okay, but what I didn t appreciate was that they charged me for hot sauce. I have never been charged for using hot sauce at a restaurant before and they did not tell me that it would cost extra for it.

We had a lovely lunch. Went on a Saturday, and it wasnt too busy. Huge menu with lots of options. Kid friendly meals and coloring. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals and drinks. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, drinks, and coloring.

Very disheartening went with a group of regulars and had some previous minor problems with our waitress. My friend had requested a different waitress and when we were unable to get one out current waitress came out saying how she would take longer because we had wanted a different waitress. Overall very condescending and rude service. This place has lost my business and left a sour taste in my mouth

This place used to have amazing food and the best Bellinis. I went again recently and my Bellini was like water, and the prime rib dip was all gristle that you couldn t even chew through, it was disgusting. I mentioned it to the waitress but she didn t say much, so we paid for our meal and left. Really disappointed this place has gone down hill, because it used to be great!

Really fast service.

Good place to go to for a birthday, or a meal with your friends after a Blazers game. They have food from different countries and made well. You can even order a Beer Tower if your up for a challenge. Amazing service for a reasonable price. Better make a reservation for your next visit.

We came in with a group of approximately 50 people, Taylor and Taryn, our servers were incredible. We all had separate bills and they handelled it flawlessly. They were attentive, witty, and efficient. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. I cant wait to come back when the patio is open!

Got the hangover burger... Anyone with a hangover never would be able to stomach this dumpster fire of a sandwich. Save your money go to Wendys a&w, or heck McDonalds. I honestly cant say anything positive about this establishment without fibbing.

The drinks are excellent and well priced Nothing outstanding about the food .. not bad not great. The sizzling ginger beef was real good but others were more like average. Not busy. Great place to spend some time with your friends and have a few drinks. So great for get togethers. But if you are all into food .. there are probably better choices.

Beautiful lunch of jambalaya and the apple crisp along with this Baileys and coffee! Just what I needed to warm up after strolling around DT in the cold. My server had a fantastic mustache and an even better smile beneath it.

In Kamloops for a hockey tournament and needed somewhere to watch the Packers game - found this gem! Service was super attentive and friendly and atmosphere was laid-back, cozy, and welcoming. Food was speedy and very tasty! Definitely recommend for a friend hang, casual date-night, family dinner, or to catch a sports game (lots of tvs to cover all angles ).. it ll definitely be a new go-to for us whenever we re in town - especially if there s a game on - Go Pack Go! Dietary restrictions: I have a garlic and onion allergy and there were lots of items on the menu I could have chosen from with an easy omission mod. I opted for the quesadilla and it was delicious. Kid-friendliness: Great laid-back atmosphere if you re looking for somewhere to bring kids and lots of menu items to please even the pickiest of eaters. While we were in there were many hockey teams of varying ages.

Very slow meal service, lots of excuses for the delay, no offer to reduce the price. To top it off, the washroom maintenance was below par.

Excellent experience. Prices are reasonable and food is the best I have had during this tour having visited calgary, Banff and Jasper. We had meatballs and spaghetti and Poutine with trimmings. Definitely worth a visit whet n Kamloops.

Worst wings ever!

Chicken Wings were terrible! Service was ok. drinks were ok ( the french martini was not nice. I had to back it up with a corona beer). I think we went at the wrong time.

Love this place, great comfort food substantial portions

A popular place have been twice, food was great both times and good service. It can be very busy so reservations are a good idea, especially on the weekends.

If a down home locals bar and grill, with decent food is what youre looking for, this is the place. Pretty extensive menu with a lot of standard bar food items, which is fine by me. Pretty extensive beer list. Comfortable, informal atmosphere. Pretty loud and lots of TVs going to catch sports and of course, lots of hocky.

Good food and drinks galore

Had one of the most unpleasant experiences in a restaurant in my life. We were seated in a corner near the bathrooms, which was fine, but I guess a staff member on her day off was seated right in front of us. The girl was clearly drunk, was very loud and was swearing non stop. Other staff members kept coming over to visit. It was Fathers Day so there were quite a few kids there. I couldnt wait to finish eating and get out of there.

Amazingly comfortable atmosphere, great for a night out on the town. Waitstaff was amazing, friendly, courteous and not interruptive. Fun menu and great drinks! Wear your Packers Gear... trust me! Many screens to keep up on your sport of choice, and full bar. Try the prime rib dip if you are so inclined.

Ordered the wings the first time and they were not good flavourless and over cooked but went back and had the lamb and it was spectacular so tender delicious and great size for price. Will go back for sure.

We met up with friends from Switzerland there. I discovered the place by chance on Google Maps. We were all thrilled. The boss is very friendly, as is the service. Didnt really feel welcome walking into the place from the waiter (young guy) after I was told last call was 930 and walked in around just after 9. even thou the place was open till 11 as it days online. Waiter couldnt tell me what the last call was for food and bev or just bev or even when the place was open till? I just wanted to eat food after big hype from personal recommendation to eat here, guess Ill never know if they are turning away people an hour and a half early from closing. Not impressed so far. Let me know when people are trained in customer service properly, and maybe Ill return to see what the hype was about.

The chicken naanwhich was delicious! Fries are crispy and hot. My partner got the best steak sandwich. The flavors were good. It was cooked to his liking but the meat was so tough to cut and chew. Cant recommend that sandwich. However, everything else is great and the staff is wonderful!

My flatbread was pretty average probably a 6/10 but my brothers steak was apparently flavourless.

They need more staff, in my opinion. Food was normal, nothing special besides the fun names of the menu. They get 3 stars instead of 2 because of the atmosphere. The writing on the bricks was fun.

I want to give a huge thanks to Timmy, and Kaelea for such a spectacular experience today, we were having a rough couple days, and you helped turn it right around. From the minute we walked in to the last goodbye we had a most excellent time, the food was delicious, and the Blue Hippo was dangerous. We very much look forward to our next visit. I went in there thinking cool cool let s have some pub food. We had a big hungry group of folks tonight. We ordered wings, nachos and half the menu. Service was fantastic and each dish that came out was great! From spicy buttered chicken to spaghetti and meatballs they pulled it off with ease! Nice work and we will definitely be back next time we re in town.

Unreal food, really fast service!!

I forgot to take pictures. I was preoccupied as we were visiting. Anyway, the service was amazing, just like Dreams in Huatulco! They were so attentive and patient as we were visiting with friends we havent seen in many years. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken quesadilla (highly recommend). I ordered a vodka and diet coke, sounds easy but so many bars and restaurants they taste like kack. Flat pop, cheap vodka or what have you....they were spot on here. Very impressed! Plus... you gotta love the name of the restaurant. Give it a try... you wont be disappointed.

I was impressed by their beer selection, however I did find the drink menu being 4 full menu pages to be a bit overwhelming. The food was great! Huge portions. The owner was there when we were, and he was very personable and friendly. Overall a fun place to hang out and I plan to come back.

Went there recently as part of a large group. The food and drinks selection is quite impressive and in spite of the crowd the service was phenomenal. A truly great experience.

Only down side is everytime we have gone here we are sat next to either a very loud and rowdy group or by the bathroom entrance. We never are asked where we would like to sit. Dietary restrictions: They were very conscientious about food allergies

The service was great, food was not bad, and not good. I should have ordered what I first had in mind, fish tacos, but I went with the wonton noodle bowl. The wontons were gooey and squishy and didnt taste like wonton. The noodles to me were the cheap, not going to order it again.

By far one of my favorite places to go and eat and I go there pretty much every year for my birthday if you have two other people with you that both get an entree your meal is free and the stuff is extraordinarily friendly helpful great at their jobs just all around pleasant theres usually at least one owner there who comes and personally greets almost everybody or says hello brings a dish to a table. They have an exceptional menu the food is wonderful the drinks are phenomenal huge variety something for everyone! Parking: I said paid parking because initially you pay for it but you put your ticket on your table and they reimburse you so its technically free the street parking however is not but there is quite a bit of available parking in their lot. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and a kids menu. And they are more than welcome Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair around bread onto the patio that comes right into the restaurant as the front doors are up a couple of steps but the wheelchair ramp is just a few steps further!

Good food clean and good service

Service two years ago would have brought 4/5 stars. This week, it warrants minimal and low reviews. Drinks were poorly made by a foul mouth bartender with lack of self awareness to how far is voice of complaints regarding his co-workers travels. More concerned with flipping his hair and talking to the waitresses. Food was bland with lack of flavour and spice that is noted on the menu when you order. Staff was snarky with comments that wouldnt be had with white customers. Disappointment given the highreviews in food and atmosphere that were experienced in prior years that were fun and enjoyed. Times hit hard when you switch to paper napkins and the pear salad is taken off the menu.

Booth we sat in had dried food on seat which stuck to my white jeans. Table (which had been wiped) was sticky; menu and drink card on table looked old, worn and dirty. Nachos has the smallest amount of cheese on them ever; santa fay chicken fahitas were soooo salty i couldnt eat it, and the sides with it (lettuce/cheese) were dry and warm and wilted. My friend ordered a steak sandwich medium, which came medium rare. It wasn t even that busy. Our server was fabulous and attentive though. However, i won t eat there again and wouldn t recommend it.

The veal cutlet meal was very good with a very good price! Service was good! Atmosphere was good! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!

Ate here for 2 nights in a row over the Canada Day long weekend. Food was great, almost too much variety. Saying that we were all able to have completely different meals both nights. Staff were awesome, fixing an issue right away and then going way beyond what we expected. They also were fully staffed both nights we ate there. I hope that means they treat and pay their employees well. Just by observing the bar/kitchen area everyone seemed pretty happy even though they were working. Absolutely will return when back in Kamloops.

My 1st roast lamb dinner was cold, and I sent it back, and they brought out another serving of roast lamb dinner, which was just as cold. So disappointed I lost my appetite and couldnt eat my new order of crab stuffed mushrooms.

Arrived late mid week but still received a tasty meal which was reasonably priced with excellent friendly service .

Very diverse menu. Maybe a bit too much. Food is fine, not spectacular. Service good.

Amazing service and burgers!

Absolutely the worst wings I ve maybe ever had. Freezer burnt, overcooked, shattered bones, fried in bulk and completely unseasoned. (Before your seasoning of choice, which they can t even be bothered to toss the wings, but dump the seasoning on top of the plate they serve it on.) I m not in the business of writing reviews but this was horrible.

Good food, nice portion sizes, friendly wait staff. Ambience was ruined because of noise level due to obnoxious drunks seated nearby Food : 4/5
