I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nandi's Kitchen and Bar, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I started with the tandoor fried chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the bun was soft and fluffy. I also tried the mango chili wings and butter chicken poutine, and both were equally delicious. The wings were crispy and flavorful, and the poutine was rich and creamy. Indian brunch was delicious. Best Chana masala ever. And our server Kriti was friendly and attentive. No photos because we were too busy eating.
I recently placed a takeout order from this restaurant, spending around $170, expecting a great experience based on their reputation. While the dal and masala naan were absolutely amazing, my experience with the rest of the service left me disappointed. I ordered chicken korma, but after a wait of 35-minutes wait, I discovered they had given me paneer korma instead. Mistakes happen, but this kind of mix-up could have been far worse if it was the other way around and someone with dietary restrictions or allergies was involved. When I pointed out the error, the staff apologized and offered to make the chicken korma, but it would take another 10 minutes. At that point, waiting longer would have ruined the rest of the food, which was already getting cold. For a restaurant charging premium prices, I expected better attention to detail and customer service. Mistakes like this shouldn’t happen, especially when people are spending significant amounts. While I really enjoyed the dal and the masala naan, the paneer korma wasn’t good at all. Overall, the food quality was inconsistent, and the lack of proper service soured the experience.
Amazing food! Amazing service! Big beautiful dining area! We tried chole and the stuffed paratha and they let us try the tandoori chicken and waffles! All were incredible
I had a fantastic experience here tonight. Our server was in training, but you wouldn’t know it she was absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive, and professional, she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We had an order of dal makhani that wasn’t quite up to our expectations, but she handled it so graciously and even took it off the bill. It’s clear she’s going to be a great asset to the team. Kudos to her and the restaurant for providing such excellent service!
Me and my wife ordered dinner for two and their food was really delicious. Good portion and size. We ordered tea at the end but it was a disappointment. I understand they probably had new cooks. They didn’t charge us for it and their head chef came out and talked with us. I have always loved going to Nandis and this place is indeed a good Indian restaurant in Kamloops.

The food is not great and the service is neither :( We had a couple of dishes, the pasta was the one with the best flavour, followed by the butter chicken and biryani last I like Indian food but at this place seems to be very mild, with no flavour for spices. I was there after a long drive from Calgary, I was hungry and even like that the food was not tasty. We have to add my water glass was dirty with some stuff floating around, the service was slow (we were the only ones there) and the prices don't match the experience.

Best place for Indian food in town.
Had higher expectations. The food was average. The Manchurian was average in taste. The Lacha paratha was definitely not home made and looks like it was from the frozen packet! Ambiance and service were nice!
I recently visited this restaurant and was really let down by the slow service. It took ages for our server to greet us and take our orders. After ordering, we waited an eternity for our food to arrive, and when it didn t, we eventually left the restaurant. The lack of attention from the staff made the experience even worse. I expected a lot more from what I actually received. I wont be coming back. anytime soon.
Worst service, took forever to take our order and didn t bring food and we left after waiting 1 1/2 hour without having any food. Very unprofessional. I would give no stars if there was an option. Service

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. It took almost an hour to get our food, which was quite frustrating. When the food finally arrived, the quality was not up to my expectations definitely didn t match the long wait. On the positive side, the ambience was good, with a pleasant atmosphere, but overall, I wouldn t recommend this place based on the food and service.
We had a party of 10 for bday lunch, everyones food was good & flavourful but unfortunately due to size of group (possibly) and ordering that many different meals (sandwhich, burger & then Indian dishes) the wait was a bit for drinks & then meals came out in spirts so meal was started with 2 guests still waiting. My Chia tea very strong & good. Calamari dish did not come out as an appy, yet the other appy was. My Tandoori chef salad came out very last & had to wait for Calamari still (tried to cancel but was being plated) Will go again but for regular day.

I had a disappointing experience at Nandi by Harvest. Not only do they fail to pay their staff a proper salary, relying instead on tips, but they also falsely accuse employees of stealing money. This unethical treatment of staff significantly impacted my view of the place. I hope they address these serious issues soon.
My friend and I were passing by Kamloops after a trip from Okanagan and stopped for 1 hour. One of best food we had in the entire trip. I had one of the best Butter chicken flavour in Canada where it is not sweet but rather a good combination of spice flavour.
We ordered tickets for an event at Harvest by Nandi for June 6th 2024. We arrived only to find out they had canceled the event without telling anyone. 1 month later after emailing, calling and visiting in person and we still havent received a reimbursement. I will NEVER go to this business again.
The staff here is incredibly helpful. Our server, Prakrtiti, guided us in choosing one of the most delicious pasta dishes weve ever had: the butter prawn ro e. Its definitely a must-try!

Food was pretty good but with 4 kids we waited over an hour for breakfast. You cant run hotel breakfast with 1 cook and 1 waitstaff charging a premium. Kids were starving and the gentlemen was apologetic but management shouldnt have put staff in that position.

Breakfast Wes a very nice surprise - excellent service and good food. The farmers sausage and hashbrown potatoes were delicious, and gluten free toast was available. Well worth the visit! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free toast was available and staff were aware of food sensitivities.
We went for a family dinner, 8 of us, and will be our first and last time there. We ordered a few appies and a range of dishes including 2 lamb, 3 chicken and a few vegetarian. Food - did not seem fresh, not hot (temp), greasy and small portions. No condiments (everything extra) and expensive, about $300 and we did not order alcohol or dessert. Service - took a very long time despite making a reservation and being first group there at 530, and dishes were brought to table far apart so some finished before others even served. Server was pleasant and did her best but she was working solo and also mentioned they were down a cook. Atmosphere - basic hotel setting nothing special. In short a big disappointment, and perhaps 2 stars is being generous. If you want Indian - this is not the place to go!

Weve eaten at Nandis restaurants for many years and will continue to do so. Tonight we dropped by with a friend who used to work and live in India. We introduced him to the pani puri dish and his comment was That is a world class dish. I havent tasted Indian food that good since I lived there. Nandi does street foods that are very tasty. If youre go to Indian dish is always butter chicken, you wont be disappointed. If you want to try some excellent flavours, then you also wont be disappointed. We really like the fish pakoras. the visit for sure.

My wife and I came for Valentines Day and the experience was amazing. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent as always and the food was absolutely fantastic! We had the Lamb Vindaloo and the Prawn Mahkni. I have eaten Nandis food many times and it never disappoints and always exceeds expectations if thats even possible. Very strong recommendation if you want some authentic Indian cuisine.

One of my preferred restaurants for Indian cuisine. The food, drinks and presentation is pretty good. Very nice atmosphere and aesthetic. The shrimp korma is my fav with garlic naan. I do wish the portion size for the korma was a bit more but overall I ve had a pretty great experience with Nandi s. They also do a very nice weekend brunch!

Every special occasion, we go there for a meal, they never disappoint us. The restaurants ambiance and decor are very relaxing. The food quality and taste are excellent. The staff are very friendly, especially the owner who is dedicated to food quality and customer service. We look forward to dining there again, enjoying delightful moments with family and friends.

A wonderful dining experience! The prawn pakoras were incredible, as was the chicken vindaloo and dal turka. This was accompanied by excellent service. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the extra special treat.
Great food good service
Lamb biryani was the worst . Over done rock hard lamb . Barely 3 lamb pieces. Was hot as requested but was missing salt . No salt or maybe half teaspoon in whole dish . Also it seems like they just mixed previous cooked rice pulao which they give as a side with every curry and added few lamb overcooked pieces. Chilly chicken was probably 3/10 . It was hard to find chicken barely 3-4 bite size pieces. It was full of bell pepper and onions. Who puts broccoli in chilly chicken ? The total was almost $40 which was after $20 off from uber eats . So it was around 60$ in total. I would never order again.

I would rate this a 3.5 . But a 3 seems too harsh, so 4 it is Pasta over cooked, sauce was nice enough (prawn rose sauce) but nothing to write home about. After waiting a ridiculous long time to get the glass of water I asked for (along with my wine), I went inside to ask if I could just grab a glass of water. The server told me she hadn t got it yet because she was really busy (there were max 4 ppl in the restaurant) Not sure I would come here again, but if fate put me next to this place in the future and I was hungry, I wouldn t make a fuss about it
I can t believe how incredible of a meal I had at Harvest by Nandi s - it s the absolute best in Kamloops and possibly one of the best meals I ve ever had. It s located inside a hotel so it s limited in decor, but it exceeded my expectations as it had very comfortable seating, friendly staff, and overall a relaxing atmosphere. Their happy hour is unbeatable. Incredible pricing for some of the best cocktails I ve ever had - I paid only $4.50 for a perfect glass of sangria. They have the biggest drink menu with something for everyone, and the bartender Narain really knows what he s doing and will gladly help you find a cocktail that matches your taste. Obviously the best part was the food. We got the Chana Masala and Shahi Paneer with Garlic Naan, and we left with our bellies full and our plates clean. Great price for the portion sizes, and considering how delicious and authentic it is. I m also vegetarian and was impressed at how many great options they had. It s definitely geared towards indian food and that s what they do best, but there were some other street/pub type food on the menu too. I would highly recommend trying Harvest by Nandi s for a great meal at a great price!
The Hollandaise sauce was by far the worst I have ever eaten in my life. The lunches are really very, very ordinary.

Worst indian food in kamloops in my opinion ordered malai kofta there was no gravy kofta was burnt and it was all messed and naan was like a rubber not even chewable i guess it was frozen food spent 70$ to get food that was not even worth 10$ literally 0 start rating if you want indian food choose any other restaurant or something its not worth eating here

We ordered our food this evening through Skip the Dishes & unfortunately there was some kind of mix up with it. I called Harvest by Nandi & a manager called me back promptly to review the concerns. He was very polite & apologetic. They refilled our order & delivered it themselves right to our door. The food was awesome. Even though we had to wait a bit we were very thankful for the effort they made to get us our order & the food was worthy of the wait. Thank you! Dietary restrictions: My husband has a dairy sensitivity they were able to accommodate.

Had poor service for a large group that we were and to add 18 percent to bill tip becsuse we were a large group of 16 or we should have had 2 servers not one. Food was slow coming this was reserved should have been better prepaired. Will not eat there again.
We had made reservations for 2pm this Saturday. The waitress who greeted us was on her phone. We found a spot on the patio and she took our drink order. 30 minutes later a member of our party went to check on the drinks. 4/5 were sitting on the bar, and she was on her phone again. We had intended on ordering food, but we ended up walking out and eating elsewhere.
We really love the food here! But unfortunately the wait staff is lacking. We were seated and ten minutes later no one came to give us waters. My husband saw the server on his phone and we ended up walking out. This restaurant would be amazing if the wait staff was more professional.
Harvest by Nandi s provides authentic Indian food. You ve to wait for a long time after placing order, but it s worth for time, because they make fresh food for you. It s not like other places who puts the same instant gravy on paneer, fish and so on. You can differentiate the taste of each item. Must try Lassi, it s authentically Indian.

My brother really wanted to try out this restaurant for his biethday. We live out of town so we called head and booked a reservation. When we arrive at the resturant we find it is closed for a private. Very disappointed.
Ordered the eggs benny smoked salmon on a Sunday morning. Was absolutely fantastic. Best benny Ive had in town in years! And cannot beat the price. No joke! Fresh and light. And presentation was perfect. Cant wait to try more.

Good food, good service by Ash. Samosas we re yummy. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Prices were fair and comparable. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Parking: Lots of parking options. Kid-friendliness: Good meals for kids.

Excellent food and service. We were happily surprised to find this hidden gem- the goat cheese bruschetta is a MUST try, it was absolutely impeccable, the cheese is whipped and creamy, and the baguette is crisp and did not get soggy. The chicken wings were a generous portion and nice and crispy on the outside with tender meat (only sidenote is that if you prefer saucy wings, you will need to specify that you d like extra sauce as they are only lightly tossed). The main dishes were very generous serving sizes and the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Ribs were falling off the bone and tender, and the steak was perfectly cooked rare, and a beautiful thick cut. Server checked in regularly without overdoing it, and was quick to clear dishes and quality check when any food or drink was delivered. The house cocktails are unique and very delicious, the Amsterdam lemonade is delicious and on the sweeter side since it s made with pink whitney! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Good food and the server was super polite and was checking upon the table every now and then. Would definitely revisit.
Excellent meal and service
Service was ok, head chef was outside having drinks with his friends, waitress had to keep asking the chef where all the ingredients in the kitchen were. The Athens chicken burger was extremely burnt, the Italian club was very greasy, and they didn t remove the plastic from the prosciutto slices that went into the sandwich. Fries were ok, and drinks were decent.
Breakfast is just a overpriced buffet ($18 for lukewarm scrambled eggs and potatoes), not the breakfast menu that is shown here. Also they did not check for proof of vaccination as required by the PHO. Lots of better breakfast options in the area Id recommend going to instead. Only positive is it is convenient if you are staying at the hotel.
Loved this place! I usually don t really like restaurants in hotels, but this one was great. Got the veggie burger and it was the best burger of my life! Our waitress was the sweetest, really friendly and she gave us a 5 stars service. Would go back if I m in Kamloops again!
Ordered the mac and cheese. So delicious. The staff was very attentive and polite. Definitely going to be a returning customer
