Service is soooo bad. I only come once a semester and each time it’s new staff. How are they all so terrible? I’ll come and no one is in the restaurant and wait 10 mins for any one to come up. I’ve currently been waiting 45 minutes for nachos and poutine. I think it’s been sitting in the window for 20 minutes.
Cant just order a side of fries despite it being on the menu- you have to order a basket for like 4+ people which is a huge waste of food.
Ordering on skip..$40 for a burger, fries and milkshake if I tip 0%. Yeah I’m good on that. Don’t care how good it is, or if Gordon Ramsay delivered it to my door and called me an idiot sandwich.. I’m not paying that
The food is okay, but the service is unbelievably bad. It literally takes 3-5 business days to get any service. When you ask for something, they just say yes, but in fact, they're just roaming around with no purpose and doing nothing. I asked for ketchup after waiting for so long, I had to walk and take it from the counter myself. Man, I waited 25 minutes just to get the bill, asked twice, and the server was playing with napkins. If you're in a hurry, don't ever come close to here.
As long as you get a Male server you will be guaranteed your drinks and food within a reasonable amount of time, both waitresses have given us our food late causing us to be late for class
I’m not usually a Karen but… Poor quality of service, disinterested staff, and subpar food. It would have been faster to walk to superstore, bring a live crab back to our table, and prepare it there than it took for them to forget the appetizer and put together somewhat warm poutine. There are a ton of better options within walking distance. :(
The food and portion sizes are fantastic! And well priced for the portion sizes. Staff are friendly and are more or less attentive. Only gripe I have is that they run a skeleton crew, and often only have 1 server/ bartender on shift.
Service was absolutey atrocious and usually I am fairly patient and lenient because I've worked in service jobs. After our plates were cleared we waited 30-40 minutes to get the bill and we had to call our server as she ignored us to grab us the bils. At which point it took another 20 minutes to get the bill and in the middle of it she walked away and I had to finish collecting the payment for my friends. I hate being that person but we came in at 5:30 (wasnt even busy, maybe 4 other tables.) and didnt get out of there until 7:10 and all we had was water, a poutine and a wrap. during this time maybe one or two other tables came in, but whenever she served one table she completely ignored us, i had wanted more water but never even got the chance because she never came to the table unless we asked after getting our food. I have handled more waters, order takings, and serving drinks and food as a hostess before than what she did tonight. There was absolutely no reason for such slow service and this isn't a one off. This whole semester has been extremely slow service. I am honestly starting to feel like not ocming at all anymore or just ordering to go and sitting somewhere else on campus.
The gravy and burgers are SOOOO good, fries are great too soooo good

Jackson was absolutely fantastic! He made sure to give our table lots of time to figure out what we wanted. Also pretty sure my friend fell inlove with him. Will come back!

Servers name was Ryan very rude and slow service, would recomend possibly on days he wasnt working.
Ordered vegetarian burger and got a chicken burger. Called 5 times to try and see what could be done but there was no answer

Kinda gotten a bit too Posh for a uni pub. Also I cant think of any other uni pub that closes at 5pm on fridays/ Saturdays. Im sorry but your open from 11.30 till 5 Im pretty sure back in the day ( circa 2014) the pub was open atleast Fridays n Saturdays how are students and alumni supposed to enjoy a pint when theres banks open longer and later
Went here twice and got the worst service ever. Most of the food are overpriced and it took 20 mins to give a cup of water even when there was barely anyone. Asked for a fork and waited for 5 minutes but never got it.
Very bad service. Manager cares more about bussing tables then helping his servers with customers.
The servers and managers were disrespectful, ignorant, and rude. Had to raise my hand up for a long time and multiple times just for a glass of water and both the server and the manager working saw me but did not bother coming to my table or even giving me a sign to wait a minute. After I was done my food, the other server came and asked how was everything even though he clearly saw I was done. If the manager is the guy with the red/pink shirt and glasses, please fire him for being being disrespectful and ignorant
The best pickles ever! This was an amazing burger, I definitely think burgers should be super messy and this didnt disappoint . A bit more on the pricey size( if you compare it to a fast food chain) but you get what you pay for. These burgers are homemade, full of flavor, juicy and and very yummy. If your craving a BBQ burger that youd make at home kind of thing, this place is the best choice! The input negative I have is that the gravy was disgusting and runny, tasted and resembled brown runny water no flavour and gross. The fries were good

Very bad service and bad food. Order a shrimp bowl with rice and the rice was not even cooked. Servers are not that friendly and dont know how to treat their customers.
A few good food items, most of them over priced for what you get. Poor beer selection. Staff are really friendly though.
The service is horrible. An hour before close and the server does last call, locked the door, turned off the music and refuses to serve anyone. Super rude. Also, found hair in our chicken wings. Happy Vday! Update: the tv s have now been turned off aswell

Honestly the service is terrible and the food is overpriced for being on campus. Sat down with hardly anyone in the restaurant and waited 15 minutes just for them to drop off menus and say they ll be back. Never had good service here.
The food is good but a bit expensive. You can also be alcohol.
The place where I have found solution to most of my complex assignments.

It is a good place to enjoy a good breakfast, the place is spacious and completely renovated, the service is fluid and pleasant! I recommend you try the tacos and see the promotions they have!

Great food in huge portions, nice space, if noisy, and the prices are good. Shame it takes forever to be served. You seat yourself here, but it can take 15-30 minutes to get a menu if they dont see you sit down. I dont mind waiting - I know theres limited staff and it gets pretty busy - but itd definitely help if they at least made a point to greet each guest so we know were not in limbo. Not good for a quick meal, not good for eating alone. GREAT study spot if silence puts you to sleep. The star off is only for slow service - they need to hire more people, or at least a host to make sure everyone has a server.
Food and drink are good, but they are always understaffed. Expect long waits between waiter visits unless theres only a few groups there

wings and beer are good but the service blows. they close at 10 but stop serving you and hand you your bill at 9:30.

Beer selection is good. Servers are friendly, but absolutely terrible. Waiting for way to long, servers are not attentive at all.

Good food and a great break for a busy school day. But service can be slow.
Restaurant on campus that caters mainly to students. The food is decent. Service is good. Ive had burgers here a few times, and it was hit or miss. Once the burger was very good, veggies were fresh and burger was hot and another time the burger was cold and bun quite soggy. The chicken here is pretty dry too.
