Horrible slow service.

Got take-out and they forgot some of the order. When I called they offered to replace the missing item but thats all - just the bare minimum of effort. Also the fish and chips fish was overdone and dry and the portions have become ridiculously small. Will not order the fish and chips again. Food

we don t often come to this location strictly because we don t often feel welcomed. There s a certain waitress who isn t scared to show us that she doesn t want to be our server. No matter how nice we are she assumes we will never tip. Which in turn makes her never talk to us at all, just when we order our drinks and food. She scarcely came to our table after that. Although it was busy we noticed she went to everyone else s table and avoided ours. It didn t feel nice and honestly just felt unwanted. Besides her picky service the food was decent. I didn t catch her name but she has brown hair and had almost every color pen in her waitress apron. I hope she knows that people notice when you don t talk to certain individuals the same as other tables let alone at all. It doesn t feel good. My partner and I will spend our outings somewhere we feel welcomed. We don t often go out just so you know. Highly disappointing and most likely won t return. Thank you to the servers who were nice on other times that other girl wasn t there. Which is too often.

The server Alyssa was not friendly , and the food was ok.

EDIT: Dan, the manager, is absolutely wonderful, he saved the experience and this review. I just hope Jesse isnt there anymore. It pains me to leave such a low rating since the food was great and the manager really tried his best to rectify Jesses absolute GARBAGE service. Our orders were mostly wrong. She was absent for the majority of our time there. The cook brought our food out, fixed the orders, and adjusted the bill accordingly. He was the saving grace to the experience. It was uncomfortable how high the waitress clearly was too.

It was a nice dinner out BUT the only way to get to the white spot was going through the hotel. Such a long ways when the doors open at the parking lot right from the restaurant

58$ for 2 rubbery half raw burgers...this place has definitely gone downhill..fries were just little nubs..will not be going back...gravy skin in the gravy it was so old..looked like really old tomatoes on it too. North shore location

Good service, food a little mediocre.

Unfortunately we waited at least 15 minutes for service , which didn t arrive . During that time noticed the floor was filthy and one of the servers body odor was very unpleasant we could smell her 5 tables away Have been eating there for years and in the service industry as manager. I don t mean any disrespect however management needs to have a difficult conversation regarding body odor with staff, not to mention having them actually wait on the tables. We left!!

This restaurant is great! My family of 5 come here quite often and the food, service and atmosphere are all top notch! We come here from Lower Sahali even though there is a White Spot there because we enjoy the consistently excellent food and service provided, in particular, by our favorite servers, Mars & Jesse. Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves the pirate packs!

Its always a great place to go. I was there for happy hour and the twisted Bellini was so delish.

Great wings and ribs

Very small restaurant located in the hotel. The restaurant is sized for the hotel guests and has very limited room. If youre looking for a regular restaurant with more staff working then go elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the food was average and the service was slightly above average. They are accommodating with kids, but the amount of money spent for a family to eat there doesnt feel great. On my sandwich the bread, turkey and bacon were all over cooked. My wife was happy with her meal. Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly, but the prices are not family friendly.

I wasn t sure what to expect from Happy Hour at The Wet Spot - but I enjoyed it!

Dusty dining room and wobbly table. Sticky table and chair with loose leg. Chipped plate and fork with a slight bent prong. This is the premier dinnear on the north shore.

The staff at this white spot go above and beyond to make customers feel like they are #1 the food is oh my gosh sooo delicious fresh hot and oh so tasty . With the mind blowing amazing staff and oh so delicious fresh & hot this whitspot will leave you and your tummy smiling all the way home.. trust me I know Im sorry not across the parking lot from them Parking: Lots of parking as there is a hotel there as well so no problem finding a parking spot. Kid-friendliness: Oh my gosh kids love the pirate ship and the burgers and treats Wheelchair accessibility: Yes white spot is wheelchair accessible from handicapped parking to large doors more than wide enough for wheelchair access into main lobby then straight into the restaurant.

This is one of the best places to go for a date! I mean its like a pub but its a restaurant and everything on the menu is amazing. You really cant go wrong with White Spot they offer great service and an pleasant atmosphere. If you want privacy you might have to ask for a corner because the tables are fairly close. No wait time where we went, although the signage could be better as we ended up past the wait to be seated area. Overall an excellent experience!

Where do I start except - WTH. 7 of us for dinner last night (April 18). My mother-in-law (elderly) shows up first and is told she has to wait until all 7 of us arrive before she can get in to sit at the table. I show - the two of us are told the same thing! 7 people and they would not let 2 of us in to sit at a table and wait!!! I asked why and am still baffled by the response because hockey teams show up and say there will be 7 but then there are 10 of them.....WHAT????? Disgusting! Treating paying customers like that.....wont be back again! I have received a good service from staff and got a good suggestion for my order. Food was deliciuos as I expected.

The Calamari was real good with hot peppers and white sauce. Coconut shrimp and sauce was good also. Wheelchair accessibility: Automatic entrance through hotel to White Spot easy access.

We had a group staying at the hotel attached and decided to stay and eat at the white spot. When we got to the stand to be seated we asked for a table of 9 or 10, there were 6 of us there and the others had just gone to drop stuff off at their rooms. They said they had to go speak to the manager. The manager came and said he couldnt seat us unless everyone was there, so we asked why and he just said he couldnt. He was very rude. So we said okay just seat us and then we can all sit near each other. They put us at a table for 6 which was by itself. They could have put us at the spot where the tables were all lined up together so it would be easy for us to all sit together but they didnt, so we pushed our tables together. When the last person arrived he told her we didnt want to wait for her and she had to sit by herself (why is he trying to start a fight between our group? I dont know..) anyways he came up to our table and said we couldnt push our tables together so we said just seat us where we can all sit together! Finally we all got to sit together. It was practically an empty restaurant so there wasnt any reason we should have to wait. The waitress was nice but the manager was very rude and kept peeking around at us as we were eating. All in all the food was okay but the service was awful!

The server we had tonight was fantastic. I didnt get the servers name but she was so lovely.

Surprised by their lack of care for gluten free fries considering every other location we have been to other than this one either has a second fryer or will bake them. Not sure how this isn t a company policy as it s been something we ve been offered for almost 10 years at other locations. I m sure the wait staff are great but whom ever makes the decisions for being inclusive for food offerings for disabilities needs to give this more thought.

Usually eat at the sahali restaurant and always good food and service Met some family from out of town at the north shore location. Terrible customer service. Update. Went back again and you re treated like an inconvenience here. Waitress is miserable. I always give a restaurant two chances after one bad experience. Won t be back.

I was there this week. I want to say waitress was polite and respectful. I ordered pancakes and ended up getting a waffle not what I wanted but sure I ate it so it wouldn t go to the garbage no big deal. The problem is that the waffle had really no taste and the blueberry syrup that had on top with some blueberries was cold! Almost ice cold on the center! Sort of a rookie mistake for a restaurant . Not a good breakfast at all.

Three of us went to North Shore white spot and I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs, which on menu comes with fries and coleslaw. Waitress said you can pick a side as well. Settled on Caesar salad. Ribs arrived with Caesar salad. No fries or coleslaw. Waitress said thats all I ordered. Told her what the menu was and told her I wanted what menu said. She brought just chips which I would never offer anyone. Where was Manager?

Received the completely wrong order. Called and they already knew, said they were replacing it right away, would be 20 minutes. 40 minutes later I call and they said they wouldnt be doing anything to fix it, had to go through skip. Zero sympathy or responsibility from management. Thanks for wasting my time and money. Will not patronize here again after many years.

Had our family dinner tonight at the north shore white spot at 6 pm Dec 3 was the worst waitress we have ever had the place was empty too , while we were eating she asked if we wanted dessert she wasn t polite she seemed like she didn t want to wait on us and we were the only customers there lol first time with a horrible waitress thinking hard about somewhere else to go, with the prices of eating out it makes it worth the money If the service is good

I ordered take out, at pick up there was a few little annoying things but nothing to speak of. That is until I got home and realized that we were missing part of our order. Not a huge deal I can live without fries. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. She was pleasant noticed the part of my order sitting there and immediately asked if I wanted to come get it or not. I opted out of getting back in the car and just wanted to clear up the product I paid for but did not receive. Im not a Karen people make mistakes I just didnt want to be out money. She collected my contact information and within days I recieved a gift card . Great job , you guys went above and beyond to ensure we would order again. Thank you for making the OK experience, a positive one. Ps food was consistently good , who doesnt love club house from the spot.

Went with my daughter and her fiance on Christmas Eve. The order was incorrect and the food was quite bad! Called the manager and she was very accommodating. Said that she will send out a gift card for all of our dinners! I been going to White Spot for years with family and friends. I have always enjoyed my experiences to White Spot.

Great food, but smells like chlorine from that pool.. I guess I dont really agree with a restaurant by a pool that heavily chlorinated. But I also dont own any businesses so I cant speak on that, anyhow the food is great! Just sit in the other end if youre going to eat they only had one person working so we had to sit near the hotel entrance/bar. All I can say is that pool/urine smell from the chlorine is the worst.

Enjoyed dinner and two breakfasts at white spot during my last stay at the adjoining hotel. I could not have been happier with the breakfasts and the amazing endless Smashbrowns. I had ordered takeout Shepherds pie for dinner but was not overly impressed with the end result, may have been better if I had eaten it at the restaurant to be fair. I definitely plan on making it a regular visit.

The food was OK, nothing special at all, but oh my god it was expensive. I dont know when just going out for breakfast meant you were looking at $70 for two people and a child.... Service was good, waitress was pleasant, but its just to expensive for what it is.

Lunch last Tuesday, loved special Carolina BBQ burger. Super tasty. Bourbon bbq sauce, roasted onions, chocolate candied bacon & more. Need to go back for another one.

We ordered thru door dash last night and got an amazing meal. Absolutely delicious. Since the last time I ordered, theyve really improved food quality and cleanliness. I recommend the Monty Mushroom!

Called to see if they had space for 6 adults and two children, they said they were practically empty. Great, we ll be down in 10 minutes. Perfect they said. Got there in 10 and they said they were full. They had just seated a four top and we suggested they could ask that family to move so we could put two tables together. They very rudely told us no. It s been awhile since i ve seen that rude and clueless a service. They were practically children, so that makes sense. Unbelievably horrid people, I would emphatically suggest people eat anywhere but this terrible terrible place. You all don t belong in the service industry. Each of you should be fired, and White Spot HQ should close this location. What a travesty.

Ive had breakfast 3 times on sundays, excellent quality! Served quick. A bit expensive, but what isnt these days. A little slow on service, ie coffee refils but not a deal breaker, they may be short staffed.

Its one of the better White Spot restaurants Ive been to. The service was good and the food came quickly. There was no waiting for coffee refills or anything and we got all our extras in a timely manner. The bathrooms were very, very clean.

Was in Library Square where White Spot is located by Holiday Inn. Wanted to get out of the extreme heat. Decided to choose a blueberry pie dessert. The pastry was plain, not homemade and was filled with large blueberries topped with ice-cream. They were not flavorful berries. Took a few bites but was unable to finish. Told the waiter and I didnt have to pay. Somebody from management came to my table after and asked if there was something else he could get me. I politely refused anything else and left.

As a visitor from the UK, I had no expectations. We had fish and chips and it was really tasty. Breakfast the next day was massive and gorgeous. Very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff.

I personally went for a quick lunch. The place had an amazing ambience and the servers were super friendly and nice to me. I personally opted for a vegan and vegetarian option. There were few options available which I suggest to consult with the server and manager before you order. I would recommend everyone to visit them. Vegetarian options: There are few options for the vegetarian diet community. Make sure you reconfirm with the manager or your server. Parking: Right outside the entrance gate.

Im a regular customer there. I get the cheesesteak hash for breakfast majority of the time. As a former employee of the kitchen, I know the food being prepared is made with the utmost pride.

Interesting decor with extremely high ceilings. A nice place to eat with all your favorites including gluten free options. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. A little over priced considering the quantity as well as quality.

We went here a little while ago and ordered pickup food. I ordered the fish and chips, and they forgot the coleslaw to go with it. I had called them to see if they would mind rectifying the order, and was told the manager could do that, but there was no manager available at that time. They told me they would leave a note for the manager to call me and never got a call back. I then proceeded to follow up a week later to find out about a credit for when we next order from them. They said they would mail out a credit to us. To this day have not received anything and have tried calling a couple of times and no one picks up or returns my calls. Strange, I wonder if they track my phone number? Would not go back.

Last week my 2 sisters and I took my 95 year old health compromised mother out to White Spot North Kamloops for lunch. Only one other table had 2 adults and 1 child, so we thought this would be a safe choice. After waitress with mask took our drink order we commented on her voice not sounding healthy. Child at other table had terrible cough, one adult commented to the other of him coughing all night. Waitress was serving both tables. We advised waitress we were not comfortable with this and were paying for our drinks and leaving. I asked about her voice, she told me she had sinus infection and it was now in her chest. Unbelievable that she would choose to expose the public! Shame on management to allow both of these unhealthy situations. We, including friends and family, will never patronize this establishment again! I would leave 0 stars but 1 is required to leave a post.

Ordered lunch for pick up for my crew at Kamloops Ford Lincoln, service was prompt, polite and accurate. Food was delicious and fresh, will order from them again. Thumbs up for the staff!

The food here is okay, compared to the whitespot on notre dame the food could be better. But service is a bit lackluster with hardly anyone coming up to check on you. Otherwise it is quite clean and has easy access to the bathrooms and is a good place if your staying at the hotel.

Charged me $1 for vinegar for my fish & chips. Absolutely no chill.

Not very pleased. Had great experiences with this restaurant untill recently. Maybe they dont care i was a regular? I ordered the beef dip with salad. Was sent very little au jus. And my salad.. there was a small hair which i tryd to ingore and then at the end there was a fly on the bottom of the salad contianer. I called to talk to a manager but whoever i spoke with said the managers would send me a gift card which i have yet to recive. I will not order from here untill this gets resolved. Maybe new chef?

Burger was great. Good size,good flavour. Then I had dessert. This is my almost 8 dollar salted caramel brownie. Its like the entire portion didnt fit in the take out container so they cut it in half.....its pretty sad! Thats my whipped cream...Oh and I got a tablespoon of ice cream to go with it. 8 bucks..what a complete joke.

Five stars ! I was worried that service and quality may have since the pandemice started ;like some other places, but not the case here. The watress knew here menue and was fast amd polite . The chef brought out the food and was frech and hot . Thank you again . I will come back .

Very poor experience with the management there regarding the pandemic guidelines which we were following. According to management, white spot goes by their own guidelines and it doesnt matter what the government lays out , I reached out to the head office who has yet to respond.

$11.50 for 6 rock hard raw zucchini (zoo) sticks and a tablespoon of dip??? Table behind us had their many children crawling under other customers s tables including ours, screaming, throwing food, banging on our chairs etc...staff did nothing. We tried but were ignored. Needless to say me and my husband s quiet lunch (approx 2pm) was not enjoyable. Our basic entrees were just that basic. Wont be back.

Came here for lunch today and was met with fantastic service. They seem to be a tiny bit understaffed, but service was fast and the food was delicious! The restaurant was also very clean with Covid measures put in place. I had a lovely waitress named Angela, who was very sweet. Highly recommend eating here, and I will definitely be coming back!

Tables were all dirty and some of the food was barely edible. The staff were great, I think the issues had to do with low staffing and the restaurants recipes but it was not a great experience. White Spot could do better.

Waited 10 minutes to get seated when restaurant was empty. Hostess said she would be back ..then disappeared. Another server was going to finally seat us ..than hostess re appears. They then seated us in bar because of less servers at night. Menus are missing pages is another issue. Service slow. Not the best managed White Spot.

Never again food. The service was even worse. Two hours and fifteen minutes for a piss poor burger with ice cold fries. Only three tables out of twenty to serve and the waitress couldnt figure out the bill at the end.

Our service on this visit was typical of this location. Slow and not up to the usual White Spot standards. We prefer the Sahali location but chose this one tonight for convenience. We always hope it will have improved between visits. It doesnt Tonight we arrived at 7:10. Our server got the drinks to the table at 7:25 just as we were discussing leaving and going somewhere else. The restaurant was only about 50% full with one large group upstairs. We ordered our food when our drinks finally arrived. 2 appys, 2 burgers and 1 fish and chips. 25 min later our server told us that they were out of zoo sticks and asked if we wanted a different appy. We did and ordered it. It was now 7:50. I dont know why 25 min passed before we were told there was a problem with our order but I certainly would expect better communication between the kitchen and the servers if I was managing this establishment. I was expecting that I would be eating, not reordering, 25 min after placing an order. The 1st appy, spinach & artichoke dip, showed up overcooked and separated 5 min later, with the 2nd another 5 min after that. With the delay on the appys we were surprised when our main dishes arrived before we had finished our appys. Rather annoying to be honest knowing the fish, burgers and fries are getting cold while they sit on the table because of poor planning. During this time our server refilled our sons ice tea but never offered to refill my husbands beer or bring him a water when our son asked for water after his 2nd iced tea. Predictably enough she became quite friendly and talkative when the meals were done and it was time for the bill to be settled. I have eaten at this location about 7-8 times since they opened. Each time the result is a similar story to the one above it. We will not be returning here. We will either take the time to visit the Sahali location or we will dine at a different restaurant altogether. I hope for the sake of future Patrons of this specific restaurant, that White Spot takes some time to consider how this location hurts their tried and true brand.

I had the ribs with fries. The ribs were diminutive. The fries were mushy pasty greasy globs of mush. How can a process so simple elude the kitchen? My fellow diners were similarly disappointed the with the over priced bland mediocrity.

worst customer service I have seen in a while. pre ordered a meal and was there when it was supposed to be ready and waited almost 30 minutes. food was not prepared well and we were missing things we ordered. think twice before giving your time and money to this establishment.

The menu is typical American Bar food, and I opted for a club sandwich which was (almost) too large for me. Three slices of fresh wholegrain bread, generous slices of chicken breast and avocado. All the ingredients were fresh. That was served with a very large portion of fries which are thick cut and also good quality
