Delicious sushi

Cozy spot, very welcoming, comfy seating, nice calming lighting. We ordered a monkey brain (incredible), oyster tempura (amazing), ebi sunomono salad (gorgeous!), roll maki combo, a vegetarian bento box (tofu & veg teriyaki, avocado salad, light as air vegetable tempura, rice, 6 piece vegetable roll), avocado roll, miso soup (delicious), a piece of Ikura, a Crispy roll, Tempura Roll and Jalapeño King roll (new roll amazing). Absolutely everything was EXCELLENT. Large portions, very generous wasabi & pickled ginger. Couldnt find one thing negative and we are picky lol!! . Waiter was great and owner so sweet! Our new very favourite Japanese restaurant!! I only wish I would have taken photos so you could all see how beautiful everything was presented. Vegetarian options: Many!!!

Ordered online, had the butterfly roll, spicy tuna roll and unagi roll. Was given very little wasabi and soy sauce to go with my order, more shrinkflation. It was ok, wouldn t go back but it wasn t inedible

If you have a craving for great sushi, this is the best place to go. The staff were very friendly, atmosphere was welcoming and clean. The food was amazing, I even had little happy dance while I ate (chicken teriyaki and a Philadelphia roll)it was that good. Would definitely recommend for great food at an affordable cost.

After a round of golf, I went to have dinner. Friendly owner and delicious food.. I ate so much that I feel like my stomach will explode^^ When taking your order, please kindly ask how spicy you want it to be, salty or less salty, etc. And when the food is served, you will also be given some refreshing cabbage kimchi. It was my first time traveling to Canada, and it was so delicious that I wondered how many restaurants in Korea would offer such delicious food.

The restaurant is whatvid expect from a dinner along the highway. Busy people so service is a little lacking. Atmosphere is also as expected. But the food. That was great. All the rolls you would expect, but also small variations that make the really good. Great job on that realy good food.

Just stop by on the way home from the Bannf to Seattle for the 2nd time ( the 1st time is in 2014 which it pretty decent sushi quality) And the 2nd is earlier April and the quality went down I stop by to get lunch , we order sashimi salad , couple rolls and cirashi couple of the fish is not fresh , fishy taste and the sashimi salad is they use tilapia for the white fish and the condition that fish is already at least 2 days in the refrigerator ( tilapia is not for sushi , especially for sashimi) I am sushi chef for the more than 15 yr so i know what i eat and what i talking about , i thought the ownership have been change I mean the service is good and the food came fast but the quality just so so

I usually only rate when food is great or terrible. I understand its busy, so I dont understand why my agadashi was cold and undercooked. They replaced it. We were short chopsticks, napkins, soy sauce dishes. I had to get them off another table. Then the yam roll, it looked and tasted as is it were 4hrs old. I didnt want to complain again but wish I did. I forgot to take pics, was trying to be present with my family and be grateful, but I would not return here and wish I didnt pay for that yam roll. Food was about 5 / 10. I wanted to love it, but it was just not that good.

There are two Arigato locations in Kamloops. This one is not like the one on hillside drive. I am sorry but the food is like night and day. The hillside location is always fresh and in my opinion is the best sushi in Kamloops now that Blue fish has changed ownership. I have the worst gas after eating at the Valleyview Arigato. I think it was the Gomae as it didn t look as fresh as it could be and was a little mushy. The service was excellent but when it comes to sushi it has to be a better quality. Sorry for the low stars but my family won t let me in the house!

We make it a habit to either order from them through skip the dishes, or even drive to the restaurant to eat. My wife and I love the spicy tuna sashimi, the spicy salmon sashimi, all the tempura dishes, and the miso soup. The truth is that we love everything Arigato Sushi in Valleyview has to offer. Note that this restaurant is owned by different folks that have the Aberdeen location, and the food & service here is exceptional & outstanding. The owners and staff are so kind and polite, and they always make us feel special. We love them and their food!

Our usual sushi spot has been inconsistent lately so we tried Valleyview Arigato based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The Philadelphia roll was a complete rip off. Each roll had a sliver of salmon and was mostly tempura crunches. The negitoro roll had no green onion (the negi part of negitoro) but cucumber instead.

We just popped in for a quick bite and they certainly made their mark. The friendly staff added little touches to make our sushi experience stand out.

Really good sushi

Went early and the restaurant was quiet. Ordered a couple of lunch boxes and a roll. Food was delicious and filled us up for the price. Amazing location by the hwy making it easy to stop by when travelling. I would go back next time in Kamloops.

I was in a car accident at the intersection near Arigato Sushi and the staff was SO kind and allowed us to stay a very long time while we sorted out what to do with our undrivable car and how to get back to the US. The food was also fantastic and so nourishing on a cold winter day after a concussion!

The go-to place in Valleyview when you ve got sushi cravings. Location is convenient and food is good. Sushi is always made efficiently without losing quality. Pricing is affordable and ranges depending on type of food. Positive environment and happy staff!

Everything is great here. The service was our favorite part. We had to sit for about an hour before our third showed up and they couldnt have been happier and more accommodating for us. Super friendly

It has more fancy and interesting sushi rolls than most other Japanese restaurants. Definitely suggest several visits to sample the menu.

Not my first time here. I have been to Arigato a number of times on my trips to or through Kamloops. I don t like thinking too hard for a quick bite so ordered a couple of Bento C boxes. A good sampling of yummy tempura and sashimi. The tempura batter was perfect. Just the right crisp and crunch. The spicy salmon salad was spicy and salad crisp. The sashimi just take a look. Don t hesitate to stop here in Kamloops!

Very nice staff and really good food.

What a pleasant surprise, I didnt know what to expect when I wandered in here. But a friendly welcome and an attentive staff set the tone early. The saba was fresh and firm, the ikura was hearty and had a nice pop. But the star of the show was The Snow White roll -- a feast for the eyes and the stomach. High-quality ingredients and first-rate service -- you will not be disappointed!

Chunky sashimi. Wasabi packs quite a punch. Tempura is very light and crispy. Miso soup was very tasty. Easy parking right in front. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.

Awful experience today! My Veggy rolls were horrible! They used grossly wilted/mushy lettuce in the rolls. Who in their right mind would use gross lettuce like that is beyond me. But it was bad! I do appreciate that they brought me a different roll in replacement, but why in the world would you use it it the first place? I also witnessed the till manager wiping under his nose with his finger and then put lids on the take out ginger and wasabi containers. Like gross! The seats were not very clean either. I did feel bad for the one waitress. She was run off her feet. Our family will not go back to this one. GO TO THE ONE ON HILLSIDE DR!

I was very tired from the long trip + driving, but it was so delicious that my eyes opened and my mind became clearer! The owner was very kind and even gave us some kimchi he made himself. It was the most refreshing kimchi Ive had in a long time... Ill save this store and stop by every time I pass through Kamloops!

Honestly we ve been coming here for the past 15 years and spent thousands of dollars here - in fact weve ordered once a week for the last 10. We stopped coming here for a while because 1. The service has become extremely slow and every single time I was waiting in my car for 30+ minutes longer than they told me my order would be ready. 2. Every single time my order is wrong and they constantly blame it on me - every freaking time tell me that I am wrong and that this is what I ordered. You can look back on my 1000+ orders and see I ve never ever in my life ordered these rolls. They never honour my credit when I go back to get my roll. Will not be coming here anymore. Super unfortunate you ve let it come to this.

I will start by saying I never write google reviews. Tonight my boyfriend and I while on a road trip through BC stopped in for sushi. I am celiac (gluten allergy) so it s rare we can find a place so accommodating. Honestly this was the best sushi we have ever had! Ryan was our server and he was so friendly and made the experience. My only wish was that this sushi spot was at home in Ontario so I could get it all the time. I have no other words to say other then this place is absolutely amazing!!

The sushi is great, but I keep ordering the Korean food which is also excellent here! Well probably be stopping here every time we pass through Kamloops!

Passing by on our way to Vancouver Island and what a gem that we discovered! I normally don t like tuna sashimi because of the fishy taste but the tuna (and all the fishes) in the Chirashi Don was super fresh. We ll definitely stop by here again the next time we pass through.

I stop in atArigato sushi Kamloops I ordered pan fried gyoza. A order of 8. I ve had gyoza in a few different places. But I ve never had perfectly cooked and filling gyoza as these ones. The staff were out standing there restaurant was very clean and a warm atmosphere. I will be back.
