My mom and I recently came in, placed an order to go, and waited in the resteraunt for the order to be ready. While we waited for our order to be made, we were offered tea, water, or any other beverage. The waitress was kind and busy as there was only one server managing phone lines, tables, and orders that came in via an iPad, which I am assuming was skip/door dash/online ordering services. She did a wonderful job managing the 4 or 5 occupied tables as well as all of the other duties. (We noticed she also had to dish and serve the miso for both dine in and dine out as well as place lids on everything out going.) For both the quantity and quality of our order, I would say it was a steal price wise. I had ordered a yam roll (large pieces), a deep fried Cali roll, takyoki, extra Wasabi and ginger, of course, and my mom a chicken katsu bento box. The deep fried cali roll was the perfect level of fried - golden and not dried out. I forgot to ask for mango sauce to go with my yam roll, but that was my own doing, so no complaint to the resteraunt. The waitress hit the nail on the head with the asked for extra Wasabi & ginger. The takyoki was I kid you not, the most flavour takyoki that has ever been in my mouth. Unsure if it was the sauces, the takyoki itself or a combination of botu but regardless, they nailed it. My biggest regret of the evening was only ordering one serving. (I would order them again in a heart beat, minus the flakes ontop.) The chicken Katsu bento box came with some of the best tasting miso we've had in Kamloops as well, the chicken itself was fried to perfection. My mom was obsessing over the bento take out boxes, as they kept everything well divided yet secure in their spots. We will without a doubt be back! **please note takyoki, miso soup and bento box had already been sampled from previous to snapping pictures lol**

Decent food and I love their Onigiri(Tuna Mayo one). However, the food quality has dropped since the new owner took over. I came here for more than 13 years since my teenage years, but now not the same quality. I have been eating LOTS of sushi (everywhere in Canada and abroad). I wish they could remain the same quality as the old owner.
Visiting from Dallas, Texas and found this little gem with excellent food and large portions. There are 6 large pieces of Sashimi; each equals to 3 pieces of Sashimi I have had in Dallas. If I ever come back to Kamloops, I'll be sure to come again.
We had 3 Bento boxes: Beef, Chicken and Sashimi. Great price for the huge portions. The service was really good as well.
I’d give this place six stars if I could. You need to try the sashimi bento. It comes with 4 thick slices of sashimi, sushi, salad, and tempura but it’s only 23 bucks! The most satisfying Japanese meal recently. The young lady serving us was very kind and friendly also. Two thumbs up
Ordered beef yakisoba and beef bibimbap. Loved the bibimbap, but I had their better yakisoba before. Today’s yakisoba had an imbalance of sauces.
This is my FAVORITE sushi place in Kamloops. I eat here often and have always experienced kind staff and consistent, quality food. Did you know they have a KIDS party tray(picture) and it is a really great price point too. My 2 kiddos ate it all!

Great Japanese food at reasonable prices
Me and my girlfriend we had 2 poke take away. They were served with miso soups and they were a big pack. Only about 16$CAD each. Very good. Advised
The food here was very fresh and the service was great. I just reduced by one star in the detailed raring because it took quite awhile to get our lunch...but it was worth it in the end! Will definitely be back.

Not as good as previous visits new owners?
It used to be my favorite sushi spot but in the last year or 2, the quality and size has gone down and the prices have gone up. It used to be the affordable place in town and now its prices are comparable to the higher end sushi places but the food isnt.

Their food is amazing. Tastes really good. I personally have been to Japan and tried foods there and have high expectations from restaurants selling Sushi. Eden Bento Cafe definitely fulfilled the expectations. Their food is fresh and served in decent amount. I would recommend anyone who is in Kamloops or travelling through to try Eden Bento Cafe. Moreover the chefs are having hands on experience from Japan and Korea. Best of luck to Eden Bento Cafe.
Food is great but each time I ve went to pick up my take out order I ve had to wait 20 minutes or more beyond the specified pick up time. You think if they give you an order ready time 40 minutes after you place your order that would be easy to honor, but guess not. Hopefully they can sort this out.
I dont think this place actually exists in a metaphysical sense. I went there and everyone started chanting in tongues. Dont do drugs kids.

UPDATE: Still my favourite sushi place in Kamloops. It may be small but it is mighty! Consistentbe, delicious and different. I am still a regular customer here and try and take as many as I can to this delightful hole in the wall. The staff are incredible and sweet and the location is great for parking. Pick-up is easiest for here now but that doesnt make it any less great. Still my favourite place in Kamloops to eat
Service is super friendly, welcoming and prompt. Free self-serve tea. Food is fresh, well done and delicious. Quality ingredients and very generous serving sizes. The unagi don had 4 large pieces of unagi -- flavourful with good texture. The nigiri bento came with tempura (2 prawns and 3 vegetables) and we went with the beef with vegetable option -- the teriyaki beef was really good!, like the best one I have had kind of delicious, cooked just right with perfect texture and perfect amount of seasoning and sauce -- so glad we opted for the vegetables instead of rice because the vegetables were served under the beef with the sauce and it was a bed of bean sprouts, zucchini etc which was delicious. The Dynamite roll was huge, fresh and delicious -- very generous amount of ingredients especially the large piece of avocado -- for some people it would be enough as a light meal on its own. Excellent food and service, exceptional value!

This has been my familys go to sushi place for many years and it has never been anything short of amazing. First time ordering here since the change of management in February. The fish was old and chewy and all the avocado was brown, mushy and rotten and we ended up having to throw it all away. I reached out to management for rectification and never received any follow up. The food is no longer authentic, corners are being cut and its only a matter of time until someone gets sick. Sad to say we will not be returning.

A nice restaurant tucked into the mall close to London Drugs. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the service was friendly and fast, I got the poke and really enjoyed it. Great taste and great ratios of rice to ingredients. Will definitely be back again.
My mouth got cut by a faulty container breaking off into my salad in shards. I called before to let them know and I asked for the issue to be investigated and they offered a refund. When I was about to receive a refund, the Owner rudely berated me infront of all the customers telling me it was my own fault that I got cut with plastic shards even though it was their choice to pack the food in brittle plastic containers. I would have been happy to receive the refund and an apology, which the female owner originally offered, but the male insisted that I say it was my own fault before i receive a refund. I refused and told him I would never return and insisted i receive my promised refund. The plastic was so sharp it cut my mouth and felt like glass.
Ive been going here over the years and have always enjoyed the taste and quality of the food, until it switched ownership. Food tastes drastically different from before, less authentic. Food and ingredients seem to depend on ready to use and commercial ingredients instead of sauces, etc. being homemade. The sushi I received today was cut very poorly, with the sizes of the sushi pieces being all over the place, and under/over filled. Everything is bland in comparison to before, making it feel more like a fast food joint instead of an actual quality restaurant. Even the new food packaging leaves much to be desired. Ive never seen sushi packaged in a bulky plastic tub before. Unfortunately the new owner must not know a whole lot about Japanese/Korean cooking, along with the staff. Wont be coming back, instead Ill be going to Jacobs Noodle and Cutlet as they actually care about what they serve.
Try it out especially for the price. Good value. Great taste. Rajibul and Jui are doing a good job.

The special rolls were gigantic! Size of a two regular rolls. Made it impossible to pick up and dip in soy sauce. All the ingredients were falling out which created rather an unpleasant experience. They should focus on the quality of the ingredients rather than the quantity. Regular rolls were ok, nothing special. I will not eat there again.

Quite possibly the worst experience. Looked up towards the kitchen and saw not one but TWO separate employees (wearing gloves) pop food into their mouth and keep right on making and packing up peoples food. Not changing gloves, no washing hands. I had extra food left to bring home; I threw it in the garbage. Waste of $ for me but just disgusting. I will not be returning there and neither would my friend. Don t waste your time or money. The sushi wasn t great anyway. Edited to add: I read the reply from the restaurant. It doesnt make sense. Review the footage, dont tell me it didnt happen because it did. My friend also saw it and threw away her food as well. I am not reporting it to you directly but I will report it to the health inspector perhaps. Hopefully you can sort it out and your sarcastic answer about the gloves speaks volumes to your level of care and concern about the place. Regardless, the word has been spread, I personally will not cross that threshold again. People can make their own choices but your restaurant is dirty. People can eat at work but not picking something off the plate, putting it in their mouth in full view of folks, not changing gloves or washing their hands. Shame on them.

The rolls had a strange taste to them and the dragon roll seemed to have a lot of mayo around the shrimp. I was disappointed as this spot has a lot of good reviews.

Had such a good experience here, the food was amazing and the owner family is so kind. Sushi was fresh and the tiger roll and the fried salmon skin was arguably the best I ve ever had. Can t wait to come back on the drive to Van!

Always a great experience. I had the Bento #3 this time with chicken teriyaki. 5 pieces of tempura (2prawns). $11.95 compared to the average local Japanese restaurant price of $15-16 with less pieces of tempura. Bonus: self serve Japanese tea, no charge. I dined in what is definitely a small seating area but a steady stream of customers came and went with their take out orders. Efficient and friendly service. 10/10 for sure.

I ordered a scallop poke bowl for takeout and my expectations were exceeded! It came with lots of chopped scallop and tobiko, crab, lettuce, corn, green onions, cucumbers, red and green onions, cabbage, seaweed salad and rice. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it only cost me $15 including tax and tip.

This was by far the BEST sushi and gyoza Ive ever had. Its such a cute little restaurant and the staff are so friendly! The gyoza was crisp and juicy and had so much flavour, and I had one of the tastiest rainbow rolls ever with it. Super fresh and supremely tasty.

I would give a zero if I could. We ordered through doordash which apparently they no longer use. Rather than fill the order, they cancelled it. We ordered over an hour in advance and it was for my husband s birthday. I called to see if they would honour the order and they refused to fill it. We loved their sushi but as owners, they should had made sure customers couldn t order through an app they had available. I said it couldn t be the first time this was an issue and they said it had happened before. At that time, they should have ensured this scenario didn t happen again. When she said there was nothing they could do, I said she could fill the order and accept my money and she said no.
Both the service & the food were great! Very generous dishes served with delicious Miso soup. Free green tea & lemon water. Its only a small bistro type restaurant situated in the downtown area @ Lansdowne Square, but it is warm & welcoming. I recommend it for lunch or early dinner. Parking: There are several other businesses in the square plus London Drugs & Liquor Store. So lots of parking available

Im not a review writer but after many trips to Eden Bento today felt like the day to be one. It is always SO fresh and SO tasty and is easily my favourite sushi stop in town. Thanks for all of the delicious eats!
Chicken teriyaki had *zero* flavor, sauce was like water, take a look. Miso soup also super watery... Seems really easy to make this dish well. Rice was pretty good. Too many other good options, wouldnt go again. Judging by the other reviews maybe this was a miss, but it was a terrible first impression for me.
